Positives: Theyre expeditious, friendly, and probably more honest than most in their market. Blake even helped me poke around the digital inventory for an equitable deal. Also, I was able to get in after cancelling my second appointment.Negatives: It took two visits. I asked for the camber specs from the right to be transferred to the left; I got the opposite. Thats understandable. Its still in spec, but barely. My tires will wear out faster for it. Road Hazzard was automatically added to my bill. I think that should have been a question I was asked and not something I had to ask about. (I did accept it after I asked.)Overall: Probably the best blend of quick, affordable, and effective service Ive had in Springfield. (Not counting places where Ive had friends and family special treatment.)

They dont know what theyre doing. It cost an additional $60 to fix their mistake and that was after taking our vehicle back and pointing it out. Would recommend everyone to stay away from this place. They are crooked. I called ahead to get a price quote on 2 new tires and mount and balance. Well considering how I’m working, I had my wife go in to get the work done. They tried to make her pay over $100 more than I was told. Denied ever giving me the quote. A wasted trip and wasted day for her off work.This is my second bad experience, I gave them a second chance after the first one, never again.

As a single young woman who has to navigate mechanical issues with my car Im pretty aware sometimes Im going to get taken advantage of.. its just something I sadly have to accept. But these guys were nice, if they swindled me I couldnt tell, because I was happy with what I paid for even if it was a bit over budget. Best Auto Mechanics ever! My family and I were stranded with a huge auto repair. We were told to go to these guys by the suggestion of another mechanic in the area. Being 10 hours from home we were desperate. We called and Phil being the company mascot was awesome. He kept us calm, had fun and made sure all our needs were met. We should have adopted him. JBC Tire is not enforcing the city mask ordinance. The last two times Ive been in, none of the customers had on masks and were allowed to sit inside to wait for their cars. Signs on the doors, but no one is following it. Im done doing business with them. Im outside sitting on the curb for an hour and a half waiting for my car.

Phil was very kind and welcoming, and they got me in to patch my tire despite closing soon due to weather. I recommend JBC Tire if you want fast care and kind service.

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. I noticed my car was cranking up slower starting a few days prior so I asked them to check my battery. They tested my battery and told me I needed a new one. After putting in the battery, they told me they would check the starter too to make sure that wasnt an issue. After checking it, they assured me my starter was good and finished servicing my vehicle. The customer service was A+ and they went above and beyond to make sure my vehicle was ready to hit the road. I just moved to town and I wont go anywhere else to get my car serviced and will tell everyone about the stellar service they provide.

Phil and the guys at the shop are very helpful and friendly. They were more than willing to work with us. My daughter was visiting from out of town when she had car trouble and they were able to get her car fixed on Saturday so she could head back to her home in Dallas on Sunday. Just bought new rims and tires from the jbc tire on east sunshine. The staff both up front and the mechanics in back were very helpful and friendly. Really impressed at this place and especially its staff. I walked in and the team member (I believe his name was Phil), immediately was on deck, got my car in for an oil change, and proceeded to answer all my 1000 questions about prices, quotes, and technical issues I thought I was having with my car...but also went on to give me information I had been looking for regarding vehicle inspections and what it would take to pass.During the oil change, he even came back in a couple times to give me updates on things wrong he had seen in my car, recommended repairs to get, and topped off my coolant for free. Super appreciated the hands-on feel of getting into this place. I dont know about yall, but its hard to find a place you can trust when it comes to your car, and I definitely think I found mine here! Wow, what a great experience!I got a giant thorn in my subcompact tractor tire from my honey locust trees out back. Called them and they explained it wasnt something they normally work on but they are more than happy to take a look and see if they could help. Took the tire off and brought it up there. The person at the front immediately recognized I was the person who had called earlier and brought me back. The technician was prepped and ready to go and patched it right up WHILE I WAITED. I wasnt expecting that but it really saved me a ton of time that day since I didnt have to make a second trip.The tire was a muddy mess and the technician was so kind and understanding. He even cleaned it up for me a bit more so it wouldnt get the back of my suv all muddy.The tire is holding strong and they have a VERY satisfied customer.

Called and scheduled an inspection, show up, your appt is not in the system, did you call the right place?, show him the number I called, thats our number Reschedule for the next day, show up, Our inspector went home for the day No phone call or anything to let me know. These guys cant seem to keep appts. I understand things happen but twice in a row and no phone call. My time is more important then to wait around for appts that arent kept. Avoid this place.

My name is Charles Brown III, I was looking to find a local automotive repair shop to check the tire pressure on my 1998 Buick Park Avenue Ultra. I have Michelin tires but thought it would be ok to solicit the expertise of a Goodyear store as I have heard wonderful reports of their tires.I was very confused at first when I drove by this place of business because the garage doors were all closed and I didn’t see many other automobiles outside in the parking lot.Long story short, I drove home and found the telephone number for this business in my phone book and called around 2:45 PM.I was greeted by a wonderful young chap by the name of Philip. He assured me that the store was indeed open for business.I was so thankful for his help and care and I plan to bring my Buick back after water aerobic classes next Thursday afternoon to have my Michelin tires looked at.

Women, be sure youre educated on what your vehicle needs (always) but especially before going here. They have proven they will take advantage of your lack of knowledge and use it solely to help themselves and their pocketbooks. Have no idea if they really did the service they said they did.

I came in to have my ac looked at due to the fact that its been hot as hell out and while i was there Blake and Phil had the tech look over my truck. The tech found some things that needed attention, at first i thought they where just trying to make a buck off me but when i expressed my concern they had the tech show me and i have to agree that they where right i needed a few repairs. Thank you for the hard work and honesty and for not breaking the bank with the price. I will be back.

Well I usually get excellent service, but this last time I feel like I was told about things’like my oil was leaking but I have never seen any oil where I park in my garage or when I park in my driveway.. Also their machine said my battery needed replacing. My battery is fine, my car always starts first time. They did let me know the belt in tire was broken and I will replace the tire along with the othe front tire.. I plan on getting tires there.

Expensive for one thing fixed. They tried to get us to buy alot of stuff. But what they fixed is working great.

I have only had my oil changed with JBC twice. The first time they were awesome in getting me in on walk in notice shortly before closing so I completely get them forgetting to reset my oil gauge panel back to 100%. I did check it before I left the lot.Recently I had it changed again, this time I called ahead though. It was again an awesome experience but Im a wee bit worried why my dash gauge is only reading 99% with less than a tenth of a mile driven. Ill ask around maybe I can get an answer to the mystery. Thank you guys I will keep returning providing you keep a good track record.

When you are hundreds of miles from home, and your vehicle breaks down, on a Sunday afternoon, it means trouble. After using Google, and finally finding a place open, I called and talked to Phil, told him I probably needed CV axels, he reassured me, that is something they can do. So I limped the van over, he verified it needed them, yes both sides, and then promised to have me on the road soon. Thanks to Phil and Joseph the mechanic. I appreciate the confidence and sense of urgency given to someone out of state on a weekend. I would say that I would come back, but that means something is broke again. But if I have to Id call them again.

Even Though Ive been buying my tires there.. And my oil changes also...I called them needing an Inspection to Tag my vehicle and they said to call back in 3 hours. I did and he said that he didnt have the Time for it and Hung Up On Me!! Id previously had called them another time asking if theyd check out my air on two camper tires..In which he said that he didnt have the Time for that!! Ill Spend My Money Elsewhere!!!!! Seriously... How Long Does It Take To Check The Air On Two Tires?????

In February of 2020 I was having issues with my 2008 Chevy Silverado. I took it to a local shop in Kansas City, where I lived at the time, and they fixed the issue of it not starting due to what they told us was a bad fuel pump. The truck ran fine for the next 8 months.In December 2020, I gifted my truck to my father (he lives in Springfield), and he started having trouble with it shortly after. Before I found out the truck wouldnt start, he had it towed to JBC tire on Sunshine in Springfield. JBC told him that the fuel pump was bad and my dad authorized them to put a new pump in. They took out the fuel pump that I had just put in and put another new pump in....My dad didnt know that I had just replaced the manufacturers 8 months prior in Kansas City and we could have had this warrantied out for free.Long story short, we bit the $1,000 bullet for my father and Is miscommunication on that issue.Where the bigger problem comes in play is that after charging the $1,000+ to fix the faulty fuel pump … the truck still isnt working! We took the truck back to them and they told us the fuel pump that they installed was showing as a faulty fuel pump as well. They warrantied out the fuel pump they had installed in the truck and put a THIRD new pump (in a span of less than a year) in the truck....at this point anyone would start to think to yourself that the problem isnt actually the fuel pump? but that is what they told us was wrong so we took their word for it and left with the third new pump in the truck.Days later the truck lost power on the highway so we took it back to JBC again...Now they have told us that they cant do anything and we need to take it to an actual Chevrolet dealer.GREAT work guys

Phil and Chris were Lifesavers today! My mother, daughter, two granddaughters and I had a flat tire on our way home to Jefferson county Missouri from Branson on a Sunday! We called all over town for 2 hours before finding them, shortly before they closed! These amazing gentleman stayed open and waited for us to arrive and fix our tire! Words cant thank them enough!

The guys were great at notifying me of existing problems with my tires, even taking me in the back so that I could get a visual of what they were describing. They went above and beyond to get me the best price possible and guaranteed their work and the tires for 50,000 miles. At one point Nicholas even offered to take me home so I could sit more comfortably while waiting for them to finish service. They even offered to buy me a soda or something to eat while I waited. All in all, everyone was very professional and friendly and I would not hesitate to use JBC again for my automotive needs.

Needed some serious work done on our 2014 Jeep Patriot. From start to finish, Blake far exceeded our expectations with his customer service, explanation of work that needed to be done, and flexibility on how and when it needed to be done. What he didn’t know is that our family has 2 elderly parents struggling with COVID-19 and his kindness was a great gift during a difficult time. Will recommend this business to everyone!

Came in a few weeks ago to get my tire patched. Staff were... Friendly but not very professional. Took an hour just to get my tire patched and I was the first one there. They then quoted me $650 to replace all 4 of my tires. Was able to find a reputable place to replace my tires for 1/3 of that price. Did an okay job but would not be my first pick.

Great place to get work done. I needed 3 motor mounts a transmission pan gasket a catalytic converter radiator hose valve cover gaskets and a few other things. The guys at the counter Blake and Phil were super helpful and very open to the point of personally showing me the issues to ease my mind. I have been screwed over many times but these gentlemen and the guys in the shop truly care about customer care and take pride in the quality of their work. I will recommend these guys to anyone. Plus the fact that they got me done quickly and back to the outdoors was a huge plus as well.

I called the sunshine location when the republic one couldn’t accommodate my appointment for an a/c check. The sunshine location was able to get me in promptly and fix the problem completely today. Blake, Phil and Jessie were exceedingly nice to me. They explained everything and answered my questions fully and made sure I was comfortable while I waited. When they knew they wouldn’t be done before I had to leave for work they offered me a ride and Jessie was kind enough to take me. Although this location is farther away, I will continue to come back.

I had my lowered WRX aligned Here Because a lot of shops around town won’t do lowered cars because of their alignment rack but don’t worry they can do anything here without a problem. And to be honest it’s probably the best alignment I’ve ever had. The guys were super nice an quick at what they do an overall had a great experience. We were in our way from Kansas City to Fort Walton Beach, FL, on a Sunday when we noticed a vibration in the steering wheel and in the whole vehicle near Springfield, MO.Quickly getting on the internet, we found that the JCB Tire stores were open on Sunday.We stopped at the Republic Road store, where George informed us that he was a least an hour to even look into the problem. He recommended that we go to the store on Sunshine road location, and they could get things checked out quicker.We dropped the vehicle with them, and within an hour, Phil had called us to let us know we were taken care of. They balanced all the tires, one of them was way out of balance, and got us back on our way in a hurry.Thanks to both of them for being honest and dependable. You guys are great.

I use to get good service here but the last 4 times I have been they lied to me about problems and overcharged me for service. Management seems to have changed for the worse. I kept giving them chances after years of good service but I will no longer use them. Today I went in to have a tire checked was told it had a bad sidewall. They said it had a bubble on the inside. They never even pulled the tire. Firestone found the problem needed resealed at the bead no tire issue.

Even without an appointment, he worked me in and made sure I knew about my rewards points. I really trust this business.

Not competent and poor customer service at JBC on East Sunshine.1) Very first visit, forgot to put the valve stem covers on all tires2) Bought 4 new tires and sales associate said that included road hazard/free rotations. It wasn’t a problem for several rotations. After that employee no longer worked there, they claimed that I should have paid for it, the employee was wrong for making the offer, and began to press the issue when my wife would take the car in.3) Those same 4 tires had an 80,000 mile warranty but only lasted 40,000. I had already called the manufacturer to confirm they would pro-rate a new set and had no problem doing so due to wear. When I took them to JBC, the sales associate said the warranty only covered defects! Only after some pressing and him finally calling “higher ups,” did he find out the tires should be prorated.4) While waiting for my car to be done the “happenings” in the garage were absurd. TERRIBLE language! I don’t expect the language of saints, but I shouldn’t have to be embarrassed or scared to have my kids in the waiting room. Music being played was also full of vulgarity. The music was blasting and the language was being yelled most of the time. AND due to employees being allowed to smoke, car smelled like cigarettes when I got it back.Overall, business seems like one just out for them and not customer focused. I would not trust them and never a “feel-good” experience.

I brought my 2011 Ford in because it felt like my brakes weren’t disengaging. Every time I let off the gas, it felt like I was being held back. It was only recently that it started behaving like this. They quickly inspected it and test drove it, but claimed that nothing was wrong and that “that’s just how all-wheel-drive vehicles drive”. I wasn’t completely convinced, but I’m not a mechanic...so I just trusted them. One week later, after exiting the highway, I noticed it was getting worse and worse. At a stoplight I even started noticing smoke coming from my right front tire well...and ‘popping’ sounds when I start/stop moving. Fortunately I made it home safely (and horribly stressed out) and I could see the smoke was coming from the brakes on the right front tire...and a lot of even louder ‘popping’ sounds.I let it cool down overnight and took it to a different shop in the morning. They quickly diagnosed a Collapsed Brake Hose and changed them all out. Everything runs correctly now. I even googled the symptoms of a ‘collapsed brake hose’ and found they were identical to what I had told the mechanics at JBC. They had all the information they needed and plenty of time to diagnose the problem, but they Completely failed to do so.I can’t imagine what could have happened if I were on a long road trip that week when this problem became a complete failure. I probably wouldn’t have even noticed the smoke while driving down a big highway in a crowded city or out in the middle of nowhere.I’m sure JBC is good at doing simple oil changes, state inspections, and tire rotations, but I would NOT trust them with any major problems or repairs. I will never go back to them again. Ever.

My wife went into this location on East Sunshine in Springfield to have the alignment done on her Minivan. While the Technician from JBC test drove her car he decided he would go to the bank for himself. Nice time to run to the bank in somebody elses car. I spoke with the Manager, his name is Don Broyles, he said he wouldnt do anything for us. He said it wasnt a big deal that his employee drove our car to the bank for personal business. Here is a copy of his employees bank receipt from Simmons Bank & a copy of our receipt proving that they drove our car to the bank.

Were a Great help to us. We were stranded in Springfield, Mo. No spare, Sunday, 2 toddlers, 1 senior and 2 adult ladies. Came to our rescue and helped us with a used spare.

I needed a flat tire repaired this weekend. While other shops wanted to wait for hours in their store while repairing it, JBC let me drop it off and called me when they finished. When I got there, they got me right in and changed the tire. I will definitely use them in the future.

Went in today for an oil change, it was very busy but both the guys in the shop were very accommodating and polite. I believe the man up fronts name was Phil, and he was unbelievably patient and helpful with some very impatient customers. Definitely coming back again.

Great shop, had a flat that needed repaired quickly, they got us in quick and took care of it.

Update: when at the store for my inspection I was told to pass inspection my van would require aImost $1100 in repairs. I took it to a mechanic today to have it repaired and they didnt find anything wrong with it! Watch out if this place tells you that you need repairs. I will definitley be reporting this as fraud. I have been to this JBC and to the one on Kearney and have always gotten good service. Today when I went the person working the counter didnt have a face mask on-which is mandated by Springfield. When I asked him about it he said he had Cystic Fibrosis. Ok. I waited outside, and when he came to speak with me he stood very close. When I went inside to pay, the other person working the counter didnt have a mask on either. And neither did the customer waiting. I wont be back. You should tell the employee with CF that I did some research and actually people with CF usually wear a mask, even when there isnt a deadly virus going around.

One and ONLY time I’ve been to a shop that I wasn’t pressured into paying for unnecessary work. The issues with my car were resolved quickly and the price was fair. They went above and beyond to ensure there were no further issues with my car and it didn’t take HOURS like everywhere else in town! Thrilled that this experience was smooth, easy, and hassle-free!

Phil & Blake provided excellent customer service when I came in with my wife for an oil change and 2 new front-wheels. They were helpful and the process was smooth. I will be coming back to JBC Tires for my next auto care need.

These guys are awesome. I just brought in two wheels and tires off my Haywagon, and they fixed them in no time. This is the second time I’ve brought in a tire for them to reset the bead and they haven’t charge me. They are for sure my go to!!
