Wow when I first met this guy... he scared me. He literally trust people too easily, I fear that someone will take advantage of him. He was willing to give me a computer to use without knowing anything about me. Anything I needed if he had it he was offering me to take it. Of course I said “no thank you”. But these types of people are taken advantage of everyday. Great environment, very informative and honest. Also delivered on time as he promised.

My laptop would not boot up. My fault, but If I would have left the registry alone I would not have been able to leave such a valuable review of UZ Tech Computers. This was on Labor Day of all days and I had online job interviews the next day. I called and it went to VM and because it was a Holiday, I was sure I had to wait until Tuesday. I was shocked when I got a call back in the next few minutes. The owner invited me to come down and take a look at the problem. Several hours later He saved my data and reloaded Windows. I originally wasn’t going to post a review and typically I prefer not to leave reviews in general. But here goes...I initially called to see if this company would be able to swap out the power supply in my gaming computer. I had run several tests myself and determined that the power supply was more than likely the issue. I ordered the part from Best Buy but they wouldn’t have been able to install it for another two days. Definitely kudos to this guy for taking a look at it for me the same day I called.I quickly realized that swapping out the part could potentially damage my other components if not done correctly. After disconnecting all the power cables that did not already come out of the power supply, I called them up.When I got there, I handed over my computer and the replacement part. He asked me how come I thought it was the power supply. Not wanting to go into a lengthy discussion, I gave a vague answer. I said that it had a burning smell and I wanted to replace it because that’s where the smell originated. He said okay, we agreed on a price, and then I left.He called me anywhere from 1-3 hours later and asked me to come take a look at my computer. He wanted to show me something. He showed me a chip on my motherboard and stated that this had been the part that burned. He informed me that my power supply was fine and that my motherboard was fried. He did have the motherboard pulled up already online and stated it was an expensive motherboard but probably still in warranty if it wasn’t that old. He also informed me that he believed my graphics card was bad as well because he couldn’t get any form of display when testing various components. He did do a thorough check of each component mixing them variously with spare parts he had. He told me he would put it back together for me and to pick it up later. I paid for half of the labor cost that he initially quoted me to swap out the part, and I was on my way.When I got home, I took my computer apart to examine it further. He had stated that the burning smell was coming from the chip directly above my graphics card. I was unable to unlock the graphics card latch and pull my graphics card out. I realized the latch was broken that locked it into place. This was not broken previously and he was obviously able to get my graphics card out. At this point, I became extremely upset. Even to the point of tears. I had started to calm down when I realized the chip that he had pointed to, was actually my SSD m2 drive. My computer was running the night before when I was doing tests on it for a brief period of time. Remembering that I had already unplugged the power to the graphics card myself earlier that day, I figured out why he couldn’t get the display to show up. My computer doesn’t have any for of integrated graphics.I called a friend who was now off work and able to change out the part. He ran several tests on my computer to ensure no other parts were damaged by my previous 8 year old power supply. My computer (two days later) is running perfectly fine now the part is replaced.All I wanted was a simple part replacement but ended up with a head and heartache. Yes, he did take the steps needed to diagnosis a computer. However this isn’t the service I came in for, nor was it ever mentioned on my part. Not to mention that his diagnosis was wrong.

Took my laptop in before work to replace the hard drive...the owner replaced it, cleaned the system, did a fresh windows install and more before I got off work for the day, all for the price of the drive. Love this place, will definitely return and recommend.

At first I thought that the service was amazing and gave them 5 stars. My laptop has been freezing and glitching ever since I got it fixed which it did not do nor before it was fixed or when it was broken. They downloaded a 2010 version of Microsoft Word to my computer causing my laptop to have to be updated which took hours. DONT GO HERE!!!

Very disappointed. Went in to have a part installed and left with nothing but a broken part. Paid for labor on a part that wasn’t even installed... Definitely don’t recommend if you have a gaming computer. He may know how to fix regular computers, but I’d say gaming systems are not his forte. I had to pay someone else to install the part I took to him and have the damage that he did fixed. The sad part is, I took it somewhere else and what I “self diagnosed” fixed the issue. Who knew?! If he had just put the part in like I asked, it would have saved time and broken parts. I don’t mind paying for labor, but don’t charge when you don’t do anything!!!!

In my opinion, this place is the goat 🐐! They sold me a fast, high quality charger for a good price . I recommend going to UZ tech to buy any necessities for your phone or computer.

The Technician was helpful and responsive. He was very transparent with the problems with my laptop and gave advice on future care.

Guy argued with me about having to re install windows on a windows 10 os just because I needed some hardware swapped. Told me I had to reformat my HD just because he charges a certain amount for this service.Then quoted me 350$ for something that could be completed in an hour, or even less. VERY rude not to mention the place was a total disaster!!! This guy is a “professional” computer repairman and his place stunk of smoke, I would not want my computer near this man smoking while trying to fix it. Seems very counterproductive. Overall DONT GO HERE RIP OFF. Forces services on you that you do not need!

How can I thank this man! My laptop wasn’t even turning on. Cleaned my laptop in less then 20 minutes, Installed a virus protection, and downloaded Google chrome on my HP laptop...let me tell you, I tried to download Google about 15 times in the year I’ve had this thing. I’m definitely not tech savvy so he really helped me out and was extremely knowledgeable and kind without making me feel dumb lol. I had an emergency situation with my computer. I needed sensitive work information copied off of the hard drive before I could send it to HP. I walked in and they took care of me immediately. I was looking at being without my work computer for 2-3 weeks while I sent it to the manufacturer and they were able to fix it without me needing to send it in. Very fair pricing and super friendly. I will definitely go back if I need any help in the future.

This place was recommended to me by a friend after the screen to my work tablet shattered. I had to replace the whole tablet ($$$), but Assaf was able to replace the screen at a fraction of the price. He was quick, too. It took him less than an hour to replace the screen and make it look like new. I highly recommend this place for your computer repairs. He is professional, friendly, and reliable.

These guys are great. Called yesterday on a phone that NOBODY would fix. Guy said sure thing bring it in tomorrow and will have the part for you. Truly masterly skilled technicians with keen knowledge. They were capable of taking apart a G75VS, a three-layered configuration with a GPU, clean the entire set-up and reconstruct it without a single error. For those not versed in computers this is astronomical difficult. Even with currently studying engineering, I had choked upon taking it apart to do this myself. To make a significant comparison; the overall time period for ASUS to do this is roughly a month. They did it in three days and for a third of the cost.

They have a very nice and professional service, and they are fast at what they do. When it was raining they helped me keep my pc from getting wet and carried it out to my car, they are very nice people.

This guy conned me time after time and I couldnt post this until he repaired my phone to a usable state. First off cell repair.He lent me a phone, which was cool. Several issues, cant text or use internet, and the next day he tells me he gave me the lender phone with all the problems!I brought my phone in to fix background light. He fixes that on my galaxy s7 and tells me he has an S8 for sale.... Sadly, I bought it.Refurb phone issues.The back is falling off, the front Camera is blurred and providing terrible picture, the device screen shuts off between 12-30%, and there is a faint imprint of the keyboard burnt into the screen. He said hed fix the camera, and eventually did, but ignored putting the back on correctly and didnt take responsibility for anything else, and frankly gave me attitude when I came back with the refurb phone the first time.

I took my laptop here for a second opinion after the first place I went to said it was not fixable. UZ Tech was able to fix it.
