Dont bother coming here even if you have a reservation. The doors will be locked in the middle of the day. On 09/15/21 we had a reservation for 1pm their hours online are 10am-6pm but when we arrived they were closed and had a sign that they would be back at 2:00pm. They came out and said they werent going to help us because they were eating and didnt care if we had a reservation. I get it, you have to eat but have someone cover the front or take your break when you dont have online reservations at that exact time. No where online does it say that they are closed for lunch. Even the hours on the door say 10am-6pm. They shouldnt allow reservations for that time if theyre not going to service people. We had to wait 50 min for them to come back and the only reason they reopened and turned lights on at 2pm was cuz they saw taking pictures of the signs. When I walked in 3 people were working. Someone definitely couldve been working the front.

I found the iStorage over a year ago when returning a U-Haul from another location. Dominique was so sweet and professional! I initially got one unit but after several months of back and forth and my constant excellent customer service and always a smile on the staff’s faces, I decided to move some additional items and got a second unit. The property is very clean and well maintained. They deserve 5 stars for sure!!!

9 months ago i-storage was Way better than across the street at Texas Mega Storage on their RATES, SECURITY, AND SERVICE. Almost 1/2 the price, 10x more security, and 100% better service... oh and much quieter, no more heavy death metal bands practicing all night into morning long... ringing in my ears, nice friendly guys however, its a storage place not your parents garage.For great service, affordable units, w/24hr securityIstorage you guys are awesome thank you!!Current as of 7/2021 I wouldnt recommend them to anyone, Ive got 3 units, 2 indoor and 1 outdoor. Rent for all 3 combined total over $500 month, not bad right? Well when 2 of the 3 units arent being climate controlled when youre paying for them to be, why. The power has been out going on 3 weeks, I cant even see to check on my things without a flashlight. Phone call after phone call no help has been provided, finally after threatening to get the news involved does their corporate office give us the go ahead. Working on it now.

Great customer service!! The office staff is friendly, efficient and helpful. They helped me get a UHaul rented for an out of town move and everything on their side went without a hitch. I also rent a storage unit. It’s clean, easy to access and anytime there is an issue, it’s addressed immediately.

This is my 1st time renting a storage unit and Dominique provided great customer service, making the experience care free. We walked to various units (with and without climate control) so I could get a good visual of the units and how easy it may be to get my belongings in and out. She was patient and knowledgeable. All the units I saw were very clean and secure looking. The office staff was welcoming and the prices are reasonable. Happy experience so far.

Kelly has been here for a while and just made management I wanted to say congratulations and your being a great job. Kelly got me and my dad a great deal on the storage we have now and will be long time costumers

Overpriced and if in past hours you will be locked in the gate and have to call for emergency help to get you out. Back gate is only secured by a chain and padlock. My unit was broken into along with others a year ago.

Update: Over$1300 worth of property stolen from my unit and iStorage will not pay for it even though I’ve been paying for insurance on the unit. Even though photos I provided in a timely fashion clearly show evidence of forced entry, deep gouges in the metal of the latch, since my lock that I bought from them was cut off and replaced with another “they cannot be liable without proof of forced entry.” Now their insurance department refuses to respond to further emails. Company is run by crooks.I now understand why when I moved in the previous renter had left a water bottle full of urine in the unit. Not sure why iStorage didn’t clean the unit before renting it out to me but it’s probably because everything they do is half-hearted or fraudulent. There is no legal recourse for you at all if your unit is stolen from. They could be doing it and getting away with it... all they have to do is ignore your emails and say there is no sign of forced entry. Also, there is rat feces everywhere in my unit.Original incident/review:Went by today to get my skateboard that has been in storage for a couple years so I could teach my nephew and found a different lock on my unit.Scary. Did I pay my bill? Has all my stuff be auctioned off on a tv show?Checked with the staff and by I am current on my bill.Okay, so, who’s lock is this? Now I’m worried about my stuff having been stolen and maybe someone else putting their lock on to take stuff out at their leisure? I have no idea what is or isn’t in there anymore...The staff were completely unwilling to assist with what is almost certainly a unit that has been broken into. They refuse to cut off the lock that is not mine and kept saying to me, “we can cut off You’re lock for $40.” I’m really upset at the complete and utter lack of empathy or customer service.

I came in right before closing and even though it kept her working after 5pm, she didn’t rush me or seem anything but glad to help me. Kelly is so nice and super helpful! She gave us a tour of the many lockers they have and even took us on their golf cart. They have both outside and inside storage so you can get store your things in AC and not at a bad price, mind you! Will continue to use this storage place for many years to come :)

Came in to rent a 15’ Uhaul Box truck and Dominique was super helpful in fulfilling my reservation and making sure I was good to go for a move that was super unplanned and last minute but she made it possible so that I can get my 15’ right down the street at the bigger location without a problem. They’re are a good storing facility easy to work with. Nonetheless I recommend this location 10/10 for me!

I worked with Kelly. She was professional & personable. The units wereclean & reasonable. I only had one issue. The 10 x 30 units, outside, did not have any light fixtures. This is going to create a challenge after dark.

RATS THIS PLACE IS INFESTED WITH RATS DO NOT RENT HERE. They act like the rats are no big deal & do nothing to compensate for your losses other than filing a claim. Not to mention the customer service is sub par they’re not understanding if you have an emergency come up like your mother dying and their online payment doesn’t correctly process it was an issue on their end yet I still had to pay the late fee. Compared to other local storage units that offer the same prices but with much amenities like 24/7 access without an added fee.

Kelli was absolutely amazing. She made this process so easy. I had a toddler with me and Kelli was so kind and brought out coloring books. She also offered to help me carry my bag when showing the unit as my toddler was asleep on my shoulder. Customer service was amazing! Great job Kello

Nice when your renting but become rude and will lock you out of your storage without warning, then only give you two days before auctioning your belongings

I rented a storage last June. Four months ago I complained of rat droppings, they said because I didnt purchase their insurance they cant help. I have insurance but that was suppose to be for issues that they could not control, like flooding. Just this week I found a dead rat with its guts out and it stunk up the entire unit and my stuff. iStorage again said they cant help. They did not even offer to move my stuff out and worse they did not offer to clean the dead rats guts. The regional manager Rafael said I can pick up my own rat traps from their office and try and catch these rats myself. AVOID THIS PLACE - THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR BELONGINGS.

My experience with U-Haul/iStorage was so -so until I visited IStorage 5000 FM 2920, Spring, TX 77388. Dominique was very knowledge, exact and professional. I highly recommend visiting this location for any U-Haul/iStorage (5) Starr service.

The staff here are super friendly, helpful and accommodating. I rented a unit here and a couple weeks later needed more space. I went into the office and within 5 minutes they had me set up with a bigger unit. Secure, clean units and office.

I have had a great experience with this storage facility. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the prices are in line with the other places in the area that I checked.

I had the same issues as other reviewers posted with this storage. I too was called about the lock missing on my storage a few months back. I moved my things out the week of Thanksgiving. All of my boxes/containers were covered in dirt and dust from the ceiling. Some of it got inside of my boxes and I had to wash the clothes, dishes, & towels. I had been taking my time unpacking between work and getting place together. Now I don’t know anyone that can unpack everything in 7 days, because I surely didn’t. So last night as I was unpacking my box of shoes I noticed that my Steve Madden pumps had been chewed. Then I have noticed more shoes completely chewed away. I called and they said that the insurance won’t cover after 7 days. But yet the day before I moved my things out I was charged for the next full month’s rent. And of course no refund or prorate. They gave me some district manager number that won’t answer or return my calls. No assistance what so ever.

Do not use this place. Staff was less than friendly, charged admin fee that was not on website and office staff was watching tv on computer. Bathrooms don’t work.

First time ever renting a storage unit. I thought the iStorage staff (Samia) was very professional and assertive. Showed me the unit that best fit my need and offered my pick of 3 specials. I was in and out! A pleasant experience.

I do not recommend this place for storing items. My climate control unit was hot and humid all the time. There were dead spiders and roaches everywhere. In the ceiling, over the units, you can see large spider webs. When it rains, there are pools of accumulated water in front of certain storage units. I do not know if this place is cheaper than others, but if you are storing anything of value, I do not think this place is worth the cost.

The lady at the front counter provided excellent customer service, facility was well kept and clean.

My experience here has been wonderful. Dominique has been a pleasure to work with, from my first visit and every time since. When I come in to pay my monthly rent on our unit she always greets me by name and is very freindly and professional. She is very knowledgable of the services and products available. We sold our home recently and I needed a storage unit for some time. I came in today for some supplies and to rent a U-Haul truck for the long distance move. Although moving can be a very stressful time, Im very grateful for this company and their awesome employee Domineque as she helped make this part of the move a very smooth process. Great storage had no problems...

Rats chewed up multiple items, nested in my unit, and defecated over all my belongings. They didnt help me in any which way at all. Not even help clean it up, nor set traps! Managers were total jerks about it and made it seem like it was no big deal.

They need to implement some kind of pest control policy to cut down on the spiders, ants and mice/rats. before someone rents a unit( or takes delivery rather) have someone clear the cobwebs and sweep out the rat droppings. And how about you control the climate on a climate control unit, especially if you requested for them to check the air conditioning.

This place was great until new management. I pay extra for the security ie:; gates and caneras. They let this go, gates stayed opened and wires hung out of wall where cameras used to be, which led to my unit being broke into. Dealing with this issue you would think they would have been apologetic, and try to make things easier on you, not the case on the least bit. Horrible expierence. The staff are incredible liars. Extremely rude, un helpful, condescending and did I mention liars. I have had a horrible experience since the new management and staff took over. I do not recommend this place at all, off of 2920. Hopefully other locations are kind, helpful and considerate. You will not find this here at this location.
