I took my custom 62 Chevy C10 in for a rear differential repair. Dan and his crew knew exactly what needed to be fixed, had the parts ordered and had me out the door in a week. Price was good and service was top notch. Throughout the process they took pictures of the repairs and communicated with me throughout, so I was never in the dark. The transparency and honesty was something I truly enjoyed out of them. If your looking for a no nonsense, keep it real shop, then Dans Automotive is where it’s at! I highly recommend them to anyone with 4 or more wheels!

We had a great experience with Dans automotive! We brought in a car that had some fender damage, and we werent sure what, if anything needed to be done. We received exceptionally courteous service from Roy, who scheduled us a complimentary inspection which resulted in removing the part that was dragging free of charge. He gave us an estimate for replacing the fender, but told us that it was cosmetic, rather than a safety issue. I appreciate his honesty so very much, and I give this business the highest possible recommendation.

Every time I have a problem, I get the help I need with my car and they also provide me with pictures and videos of my car of I cant make it to see it at the shop. They are really stepping up and beyond to help take care of theirs customers. I always leave with my car properly fixed, not oil marks all over it, and running good as new. I would like to give Dan’s Automotive Five Stars! I was referred to them by an individual on Facebook and I’m so glad that I listened. If you want a automotive facility that has honest, skilled and knowledge people this is the place for you. I’ve been here twice and I’m proud to say this is my mechanic. After getting an oil change I was confused over pricing but it was fault, my own mix up. When I approached Dan with my many questions he was calm and continue to be respectful he even went above and beyond to print me out a past receipt. I spoke with his daughter (the owner) and she reassured me I do not have to worry about their company and their values. She even took the time to explain the many different oils and affects it could have on your vehicle. It was definitely beautiful seeing a strong, educated woman that knows her mechanic stuff be firm yet still respectful. I recently went car shopping for some affordable used vehicles and before making the purchase I asked Dan his advice on certain suvs. I was honest about my budget and what we were trying to do. Dan was 100% honest with me saving me from what could have turned out to be a nightmare financially if I was to buy certain high mileage vehicles. You would think a mechanic wouldn’t care . Me making that dumb purchase would just bring thousands to his shop in my repairs. I’m so glad to have a mechanic that’s so informative and cares about his customers. They are VERY HONEST! If I think something needs to be done and Dan checks and disagrees, he wont do it and no charge! Ive been going there for several years and wouldnt consider going anywhere else.

So I walked in and try to get my car (An SC1) an Diagnostic Test. They say I have to wait a few days for it and I said cool, they got my name and number to keep track on me. After a day passed I called them to see the progression of when will the test start and they said they never herd of me. At all. So I was puzzled and try to ask the guy do you have any reference of me and he said no... And then rudely hanged up on me. Well, guess I wont be going here ever again.

Dan’s is great! When you leave here, your car is repaired. Have never brought an auto back because the problem was not done correctly the first time. If only Dan would cook burgers on that engine bbq pit, my experience here would be complete!

As an above average shade tree mechanic, I endeavored to replace the radiator on my 2000 Jeep Cherokee sport. This particular jeep has spent many years on the beach and some of the parts have become particularly hard to work on. For example, the lower transmission line running into the old radiator was corroded and would not come off. After an hour and a half of frustration, I called AAA and had them take the vehicle to Dan’s. Much to my delight and chagrin they were able to remove the line with in two minutes. They were able to complete the job of putting the new radiator and in a timely manner and with a very reasonable price. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was at the DMV with my son who was about to take his drivers license road test, he didnt pass because a brake light was out. They said if we could get it fixed real quick we could still take the test, otherwise wed have to wait at least another 6 weeks. I wasnt familiar with the neighborhood, but saw Dans Automotive right across the street. I ran inside real quick and they fixed it in about 5 minutes! A great price too! I was so thankful. I will drive across town to have him work on my car. Honest, fast and a great price. Thanks again to Dans Automotive!!!

Sorry for the wait! I just happened to run across Dans Automotive. He has been in the business for years and it looks like it lol. The shop looks dated, theres no fufu espresso maker, theres no popcorn machine, etc. Theres a freezer full of icecream treats and water, thats it. It reminds me of a place like you would see in the movies on an old country road. But, Dan and his staff were the most politest, knowledgeable automotive shop you would ever experience. I thought it was my thermostat, because I took my suv to auto zone to put it on the computer and I was told that it was in fact the thermostat. Turns out to be the fan. Dans services was fast, reliable, and friendly. I highly recommend!

I dropped my truck off for a heater coil flush they tried to charge me 190 diagnostics. Technically 190 to squeeze some hoses under the hood. They tried the flush un-successfully still charged 2 hours at 125 an hour. I paid full price for half a job no compromise so zero things fixed, and paid for the whole job. They didnt complete the job but still charged full price for half the work. Even though the job wasnt completed, I paid for it. This isnt a participation medal. You dont pay for half a house. Come on.

Ive been taking my cars to Dans Automotive for the last 10+ years. He is very honest and does excellent work. If a fix is beyond just replacing a part(s), Dan can always find a work-around that will meet with your satisfaction, and at a reasonable price. When he has your car, he calls you with updates. After you receive your car, he calls to check on the work he has done. I wouldnt take my cars anywhere else.
