Waiting for an hour in curbside pick up. No one else is here. Just me. Still waiting.so much for being fast. This is why I don’t shop at this Lowe’s. It’s a joke
Good place to go for simple off the shelf grab and go. Special orders leave *A LOT* to be desired. Slow, really poor customer service and long wait times. Youre really better off spending a few dollars more at a place that deals in only what you you need. (doors or windows)If you have a project thats on a time-line DONT depend on them to actually have the item ready on the due by date.
My husband and I went to this Lowe’s location last week. We had some pretty extensive electrical questions and the gentleman we asked was unsure of the answer but referred us to Ben, who happened to be cashiering. His supervisor was wonderful and let him step away for a few minutes to go over our questions. He was very knowledgeable and very humble about it. Ben gave us recommendations and even explained it in a way that we could completely understand.
My husband and I went in to Lowes this morning at the north Spokane and went to the plumbing section and a nice young man helped us his name was Nathan just wanted to let Lowes know to recognize this gentleman helped us get parts for our stove very nice Im very knowledgeable thank you Nathan for your help
Went to Lowe’s yesterday and asked if they could cut some plywood for me. Unfortunately my vehicle cannot accommodate a full sheet. Asked two employees and both told me to go ask at the counter. Neither tried to assist me other than that. I stood in line and when it was finally my turn, I asked the woman behind the counter and she initially tried to look for someone. I heard her mutter under her breath that she would need to find someone or she would have to do it. When she couldn’t find anyone, she told me it was broken. I guess I’ll be going to Home Depot.
Last weekend I bought a Pit Boss pellet/gas combo grill in store and was told the assembly was free. Why not take advantage of that?! I bought it on a Sunday and was told to pick it up Tuesday. I showed up and Roscoe had a major attitude telling me our guys that assemble stuff aint even here except on Thursdays. He acted like I should have known this. He then said come back Friday. Now its Friday and I am told its not ready. Its not even here, but we have 2 on the way and we can make you first on the list. The grill really isnt worth it to me to deal with such incompetence. At least they are consistent with that. I have had employees completely ignore me in this store multiple times and also be extremely rude when I would amazingly get help. This was the icing on the cake. I got my money back and thanked the 2 people that were actually nice and sincerely apologized. I will never go back to this store. Home Depot has always been great and consistent in Spokane and Spokane Valley. Get it together!
Randy, the hardware associate, worked harder to help us lock down our lumber like professionals. Randy has a great attitude and know how. Six stars, if I could do them better. I owe Randy.I promised.I should just Harakuri.Randy, the nicest hardware associate in the Earth, got his hopes up Id be able to do the 1800 number review.I cant.I lost my receipt. He and I had an understanding. I broke Randys trust.I should Kamakazie a Home Depot in a Lowes airplane.Whats worse is Randy probably has children.Ill never be able to make it up to you, Randy, but I love you, man. May God keep you.
I like Lowes, but if you are a veteran and want to use the 10% discount, you need to sign up through their website. They have no way to do this at the register. It only takes a minute, but if you think you are good to go in person with your retired military ID, DD-214, or VA ID, it isnt possible like it is at Home Depot. If your ID.Me sign-on is active; it can be used to validate your veteran status at the Lowes Website. Lowes is very veteran-friendly, and they have veteran parking--this is just a process you should know about beforehand!
The good: This Lowes is clean, easy to navigate to, and flush with ample parking unlike the orange competitor farther up Division. The bad: employees are next to impossible to find on most days - and the ones you do find seem almost guaranteed to be from another department and thus lack any in depth knowledge of what you may be asking about. Still - the store is typically well stocked and as previously mentioned clean and easy to get to - so if you know what you need and just want to get in and get out - youre probably in luck. If you have finite questions beyond the where is - youll probably want to set aside extra time to mill about while they find someone to answer a question.
What a wonderful store!First off, lots of parking, handicapped friendly parking, handicapped friendly store. Super friendly Staff. Extremely helpful and accommodating. The Store is highly visible from the main road. Easy access to and from.We found everything we were looking for and then my wife surprised me with a Fathers Day purchase. Imagine my elation. My Soulmate is awesome. We highly recommend this great store. We will return for sure. A great husband and wife experience...
I needed help with new toilets. I was given great help.
I was there with a friend and two old ladies bought 50 bags of concrete and three different employees went by and said I dont do that and I literally loaded them in the truck myself and I dont get paid Im disabled what a bunch of losers I will never give my money to this store
Way more competent than Home Depot or other wannabes. This place is the real deal. The people who work here are very caring and understanding individuals. They usually have exactly what I need! Chrissa is also an amazing person and she deserves a promotion! :)
Had what I needed. They honored the veterans discount. Check out person was very friendly and quick
Needed a few things. Walked in and stopped by to get some paint mixed while we grabbed a few other things. Waited 15 minutes for no one to show up. Customer service was four feet away from us and she never called for someone to help us (she was busy, but she could still pause and take two seconds to do an over head page). Finally walked around and found some one three isles over who helped us.Went to get lattice and a topper for it. The lattice was $$$$$ and jenky and the toppers were all cracked or damaged. So we skipped it.My son loves pipes and that is his allowance. We go to pick out a few pieces and nothing is in the right place. The 1/2s and 3/4s are just mashed into the same boxes, when you reach in that box you wont pull out what you think should be there. You wanted an elbow? Oh no, thats a cap.We opted to go to homedepot after that. With their organized pipes and the lattice was out of stock in the one we wanted but it was also much cheaper.
Excellent service considering I was in a hurry to pick up a chainsaw right near closing time. I was highly satisfied with how it all panned out. Thank you!
They have some items that cannot be found elsewhere, so that is a plus. The staff could use training in customer service and walk the aisles instead of gathering at the front of the store... Good products, but need better contact with customers who need it.
A couple of the clerks were very helpful; most didnt seem to be interested... or they were just interested in petting my dog. The check-stand clerks need to be friendlier. Theyre more interested in taking a couple of swipes to the counter with a dirty rag than talking to their customers. Why bother wiping the counters at all? Youre not cleaning any surface that the previous customer touched. Youre only cleaning a surface that you have had access to. Besides, the store has self-check stations. You dont clean those between customers. Why are you putting on a show and wasting time?
Was surprised to see that it had the exact spray paint colors that I needed. Great selection of products.
Deb in hardware is an outstanding. She come up and ask if I needed help finding what I was looking for with a great big smile and a great attitude. Deb took me to exactly what I needed. She explained how to use item and made sure understand it too. She made my experience very enjoyable and not overwhelmied like other employees have made me feel in the past. I hope she will be awarded for her excellence customer service, Lowes differently needs more Debs!
What a great place to hit up on a Saturday afternoon they got everything you need at a reasonable price thank you Lowes your awesome from our family to yours God bless you all :-)
Typical box store. Comparable to home Depot the staff is usually very nice and helpful to where to find things. I go there all the time for brackets screws bolts plywood etc. Parking lot has a lot of parking spaces. Also have a lot of good tools and appliances. They seem to know their stuff when you talk to the staff there. And theyre usually easy to find. Usually full of knowledge too
Do not go here for big DIY projects! This is the first review Ive ever done, and it because of their return policy. I spent nearly $4,000 at lowes in April to replace pipes, get a new water heater and remodel my shower. Anyone who is in construction can under stand just how long that would take by yourself, now factor in I work 40hrs a week. Need less to say, the project took a long time to complete. And as of yesterday I finished the tile work. So today I took back my left over tiles, which were never touched, and was hoping to get my money back on them. I was informed that because I was past their 90 day return policy, that it would have to be put on store credit. I am 5 DAYS past the 90 days. This was roughly $300 in tile I was trying to return, so I am not happy they are keeping my money hostage in their store. Now this is not what put me over the edge to write this review. No, it was after I walked out and went home and looked over the receipt again, I saw the employee who helped me refunded me $2.54 for the 60 tiles I was returning. I PAID $3.38 PER TILE! I did the math, I got shorted $50.40! The mosaic I returned didnt get a price a change. So why did my tiles lose value? Now, I understand some stores make you do store credit if you return something, but youre not even going to give me the full amount, that I paid for, back to me?In summary, to avoid getting your money taken from you, buy only as you need for the project. Especially if you plan on doing it over a long period, as their return policy is very unforgiving to those who have never dealt with it before. Im also adding some pics here to show I got refunded less on the tile pricing then what I paid.
I was able to find what I needed with help of the workers. Thank you very much.
All your home and garden needs with experienced knowledgeable staff to assist you in any way.
Nice store, friendly staff, and everyone knows its the one of the two big box national chains that you go to for appliances.
Peggy is a rockstar! Got me what I needed when nobody else could. Awesome lady needs to be a manager
Just bought a new washer and dryer at Lowes about 6 weeks ago. A week after I bought it the buzzer sound is muffled and sounds abnormal. I decided to live with that, no biggie. 5 weeks after I bought it started squeaking considerable loud. My wife called them and they said they have a 30 day return policy and to call the manufacturer ourselves. Now before I bought these two machines I told my wife that Lowes is notorious for selling used and returned appliances becouse they just put them back on their floor. Ive seen it all over U tube and Facebook. Not to mention when I worked for a large construction company a couple years ago that none of them would step foot inside a Lowes unless they absolutely had to. So since I knew about this and still went ahead and purchased my appliances here anyways then it really is my own fault. So this is just a warning to all the others who may have heard these rumors but leave it in the back of their mind and dont listen to their own gut feeling. The Rumors Are True. And Shame on me for taking the chance. 😞
Its an older smaller location but still nice. Awesome good job!
Great easy going people at the shipping and receiving department. However, if youre a truck driver delivering here, access Lowes from the street before or after because the city made the one that is direct to the receiving area way too tight with a light pole and a concrete island right in the way. Otherwise, its plenty of room to maneuver, Im usually in and out in less than 30 minutes for a drop and pick.
Other then being sold out of the light bulbs I wanted, store helped us out with our fun projects. And good customer services too. Thank you.
Kudos to DELVIN, for his GREAT Customer Service in Lowes storm door department!I was interested in the beautiful design of the extremely sturdy Gatehouse Monterey 32 x 81 Black Steel Surface Mount Security Door. However, I didnt plan to use the door as intended. My plan was to use it to fashion a visually pleasing semi-movable barrier, to prevent my cats from easily escaping when I open the front door of my small studio apartment.Delvin cheerfully answered all of my questions, pointing out the stability of the door and high strength of the screen mesh, and then listened patiently and WITH RESPECT as I shared a variety of logistical options with him.Thinking back on my interaction with Delvin, he was very knowledgeable about door functionality, availability and so forth - which is to be applauded - but WHAT IMPRESSED ME MOST ABOUT DELVIN was that he never rolled his eyes, or appeared uncomfortable as I, a 70 year woman, bounced unorthodox ideas off of him for restraining my cats with the door.I sure hope that Lowes recognizes your talent, and appreciates you, Delvin!
When we went to the cashier to pay for a high priced project, we asked her to look up our Lowes credit card. She kept making errors when entering the needed data. She became rude and raised her voice at us, kept asking us to repeat data. She made more errors, she finally said, Give me a card to pay for this! We gave her a bank credit card, foregoing the discount of Lowes card. Once home, called to speak to a manager and the call kept going to eternal ringing. Disgusted.
Not the best experience this time. Usually shopping there is great. This time service was slow even when we were waited on. Must have been a new employee.
Lumber is very limited lately but otherwise a good store. Be careful in this parking lot though people drive crazy. There need to be better speed bumps or security in the lot.
Needed more lumber for hanging flower pot projects. Got the rough cut lumber picked on my first trip down the lumber isle. Then got help from staff loading it in the vehicle. I was on my way in just minutes. They look great hanging off the porch roof. Thanks Lowes
The sales clerk was very helpfulHe steered us away from a power washer cleaner that would have killed any near by plants, and made a better suggestion.
Spent a total of 3 hours to simply get a bag of nails. Kept getting directed to different parts of the store, dealt with at least 5 different associates who had me on a wild goose chase, each one complained about how unorganized the store is and how frustrated they are that things aren’t where they are supposed to be. It showed they had 19 bags in stock but no one was able to find them. They advised I go the Broadway location to get the nails, bring them back to the north store, return and re-purchase them in order to have with the rest of my will call order for the contractor. So I do that, then get a call from the contractor that they are refusing to give him the bag of nails with the rest of the order. He gets frustrated and buys the bag of nails elsewhere because he waited in a line 18 deep for nothing. The level of incompetence is astounding but not surprising considering the employees absolutely hate their job and are quick to express it.
Ben was very helpful and educated in much of the electrical department. The cashier was helpful, courteous and kind. Very much appreciated in these difficult times.
Over the years Ive felt many times that Lowes representatives have been lacking in customer service skills. Not today, as we had a very nice man guide us through a sample of lawn mowers, unhurried and knowledgeable. The lady who rang up our purchase also was nicer than were used too.
Lowes has a bait and switch policy which has been in place for a few years now (am only now getting around to writing a review). I went there for some garden soil bags which were on sale for a very good price and they were completely out of stock (just two days into their weekly ad). They refused to provide a raincheck, explaining that that was their new corporate policy. I filed a formal complaint with State of WA Attorney General Bob Fergusons office that Lowes bait and switch tactics through their refusal to issue rainchecks constituted consumer fraud. Fergusons office refused to take action. No apologies from anyone at Lowes or with the A.G.s office. I avoid Lowes whenever I can now.
Always hard to find help when you need help there! They dont have like a person for every Department you got to wander around and find somebody! At least they had what I needed this time so I didnt have to waste my time going there and head to the Home Depot which happens half the time I go there!
We wanted to have storm/security doors installed. Lowes was the only place that carried the doors we wanted. The first visit we waited for over 20 minutes for the associate that they paged to help us and no one ever came. Second visit a really nice guy helped us out but we had to wait for someone to come to our house to measure our doors (despite the fact that I had already measured them)third trip we chose doors, and handles they even keyed them to our existing keys. Went to pay and the system froze. Unfortunately the very nice kid at self check had no idea what to do and the person who appeared to be in charge was very focused on leaving for lunch in 15 minutes. She dialed tech support for him handed him the phone and booked. He had to be on the phone so then could help the other customers who were having issues and waiting for help. I walked over and asked the lunch chick if she could help the other people. She did not she just left for lunch. I spent 40 minutes trying to pay and then had to go stand in line at customer service for another 5 or so minutes to pay for my doors. It was ridiculous. I dont plan on buying from Lowes ever again.
Lowes to the rescue! I moved into a new house over memorial day weekend and the washer and dryer was supposed to be in the house. That didnt happen so we made a mad dash to Lowes and Home Depot to buy a new set. Our first interaction at Lowes wasnt fruitful although staff was super helpful. Home Depot didnt have anything in stock and earliest to receive was August. My husband had a feeling that we should go back to Lowes. We spoke with another store assistant and boom - we got a Samsung washer/dryer set. We are so happy as the set was needed ASAP! Weve been back several times for other home improvement items and will continue to visit!
Employees helpful but prices are high
Great people who are going to help find what you need.
Great Employees. Recommend
Not sure why I waste my time at Lowe’s anymore. Horrible customer service, their sales never ring up right. Good luck getting help with anything also.
This place is a lot better than Home Depot. The employees dont harass you and their system for military discounts is a lot better.
Liked the selection and prices. Customer service was a little slow, but had worse
Kid at the self checkout was super helpful and she was super hot.Going back tomorrow for more tiles.
Great place to get anything you need for your household...
Two stars because it at least has what I need. Most of the employees here seemed like they worked the hardest at avoiding answering any of your questions we’re offering to help you. Unfortunate as I’ve had different experiences a different Lowe’s.
Staff was EXTRRAMY helpful..curtious and friendly. Definitely recommend using them if needing the building materials or some appliances
Very helpful clerk! Good price on what I needed.
We visited the shop fir a speciality item my husbands been hunting for. They did not have it. Service was excellent and very friendly. Store seemed clean and uncluttered. Will definitely shop here again.
I was looking for clothesline products & did not see anyone to ask & I turned around there were two men!!! I asked them one got on his cell phone & the other one said I think it is on 13 the one on cell phone said 12 gave them a 👍Ask & you will receive!! Also got tomato plants & some flowers.. I had a very good experience at Lowes last night!!!
Poor curbside service. Sat in pickup spot calling in to get no answer on the phone. Had to walk in to pickup center only to find one register and employee handling a long line. The employee was friendly and helpful. What is the point of calling to check in at the curbside pick up location if no one answers the phone?
Friendly staff member asked if we needed help locating an item. We found exactly what we needed.
Lowes supports our veterans and that makes me feel good about shopping with them. Friendly service. Veteran discount opportunity. Large selection of tools and materials.
The cashiers were efficient and friendly. We could not, however get anyone to help us find the items we were looking for, even after an overhead page twice. It is a big store and we grew tired of walking. We will do our shopping on line from now on.
Was very good. Efficient until self checkout, I had to have a set of saw blades and unfortunately the lady had to walk down like two or three registers to do it.
I came to Lowes today window shopping for a toilet. First time Ive ever Uninstalled or installed one. I called before I came to get information and spoke with a gentleman named Carey. He was very informative, patient, kind, answered all my questions,he really knew his stuff. I decided to go check it out in person ran accross Carey again. He was just as amazing in person a very good sales associate. I bought an American Standard toilet that suited my needs it is easy to install, well priced, and flushes really well. Carey made me decide to buy one from Lowes and to discontinue my window shopping. Great experience thanks Carey.
Received a pickup slip which didnt have a survey number so Ill just leave my feedback here.05/13/21 @ 18:54Rosco made our day and not only made great recommendations on a propane fire-pit and patio chairs but also helped measure our hatch to make sure the products would fit in my vehicle. He went above and beyond! Zero hassle shopping experience once he found us.
Appliances back in stock. Great service as well.
Found what I needed with no help from the people that work there. Some are not too knowledgeable.
The worst customer service via phone. They dropped my call on call number one and calls two three and four NOBODY answered except fo theÞy automated voice and then I awaaited a minimum of four to five minutes and even then nobody answered my csall. Ziggys has my business!
Very helpful associate spent 20 minutes looking for an range that the inventory system said there was multiple of, only to find out it was out of stock. The inventory system of this company is terrible.
I tried for 20 minutes to get someone on the phone to answer a simple question. I was hung up on 3 times and no one answered the calls in between that. Im beyond disappointed.
Found what I wanted, and at a reasonable price. The displays are also fun to look at.
Had seeds Ive been looking for.. Great cashier, got thru quicker than the self check out. And a better experience, too. Thanks.
If you need canopy replacement tops, do not waste your time driving to Lowes. They are not available in-store only online.
My favorite. Friendly people. Great pilots.
The rudest staff ever. I have shopped here a couple of times trying to save gas. Will that never happens. I always end up at home depot.Today was no different. Looking for a small board only had ones to cut down but asked. It was like how dare I. Then I commented on cutting one and was told in nasty tones the saw was broken. Then as he walked away under the breathe comments
Normally a 5 star experience, but valley store doesnt carry certain watering systems parts I need and more, so I had to drive clear up to the division and Lyons store...geez.
Store was good except for all the stuff blocking the isles.
The North division store sucks for PVC pipe selection. Was looking for a simple 3in to 2 in sch 40 reducer, not a single 3 inch piece on their self not stocked there. The two valley locations have 125 of them between the two stores. I guess the north store thinks pvc only goes to 2 in.
Great hardware store they have such a huge selection. Very clean store. Staff is very helpful. They have such a huge selection of from a to z when it comes to hardware and accessories.
Its funny how i go in here thinking i dont want to talk to anyone just in and out. yet i tend to end up with a shopping buddie who helps me through out the whole store. i went in looking for a certain tool... apparently there is no such thing as this so-called tool that I had in my head but James helped me find a tool that would work and that was real to help me finish my project.
Its fine for a large box store. Staff is friendly.
Not too bad of a place for what they have. Staff not always accessible.
These folks were more than helpful! They didnt have what i needed so they found a place that did for me!
It was a nice short visit to get new drawer nobs. All employees were happy and helpful.
Spent an hour trying to purchase a $500 pit boss grill. After no help went to customer service and asked for a manager to come over and assist. Instead customer service just paged the seasonal department which was already under staffed. Finally got a seasonal associate to write a pick up later so I could go pick up my wife from the doctor. Came back an hour and a half later and went to load out to get assistance. 10 in line at check out and 1 cashier. Went to customer service and it was empty. Associates walking in and out of customer service without even acknowledging people waiting. Finally got someone to come up to get the item to us. Been here 30 minutes now. Still waiting.....#whathappenedtolowes
Wished they carried more hardware. Bolts
Not one associate knows anything or knows who can help with sheds
Do not order online pick up, it takes days for them to fulfill it, and when you call they are very rude. I ordered online from home depot and my order was ready in 2 hours. Just a heads up Lowes, get it together! Rude people, poor service, people will remember after the pandemic is over. I work in sales, if I or one of my team did this it would result in a customer being upset as I am.This is the 4th time I have had to cancel an order and come in to buy it.I dont blame the associate, I blame very poor management team!
Great store, thay have it all!
Wide selection, not many staff, so not very good service
Make Veteran’s go through online process to receive their discount? Just go to HD, they honor🎖their vets without that nonsense!
Not always the most helpful people but still a good place for a one stop shop
No one around that knows anything. Questions are answered with I dont know then they turn around and walk away.
Has everything you need for home improvements. Awesome garden dept.
We needed help and found someone right away great place
Poor customer serviceReturn desk had three employees just talking to each other while 6 of us waited in line for a returnOne employee came from somewhere with his pants 1/3 down showing all of us his black underwearAnother group of 3 employees just stood at the inside entrance talking to each other.Lowes customer service and attention to customers is absolutely poor.Shop smaller local hardware stores
