Huppins installed my home network system. Couldnt be more pleased as other IT people have said that equipment installed is top tier when I wouldnt have known otherwise. Everyone has also been very helpful and responsive when questioned about how everything was set up and worked together. Will definitely use again when our sound system is set up. Pricing was also very competitive. Great Job!!

I brought my 94 year old Mom in to check out headphones for her TV. Olivia greeted us with a smile and immediately started showing us some options. She hooked up headphones so that my Mom could try them out. Her customer service was OUTSTANDING!!! We bought the headphones because Mom was happy with the sound but also because of Olivia’s customer service!

I was looking for home theater products, this place WAS the place you could go to get great products. Now there into blenders and headphones?? Home technology? I was looking to buy a 4K Sony home theater projector and being the Sony authorized dealer I thought they could order me my projector for me. No they can’t! Wait..what? I can pay for it now and just call me when it’s in… sorry we can’t order you a $5000.00 projector? I’ll pay for it now and just call me,, NO? Crazy!!!! Now I want to replace my subs and get 2 SVS pro 1000 subs and what they don’t even have them in stock. Doing a home theater renovation in Spokane is tuff when your go to place Huppins is not in the home theater market anymore. Lucky for me steiners in Lewiston was happy to order me my Sony projector for under MSRP. And looks like I will be going back to them or one call in the valley for my subs since huppins is into home tech more than home theaters. Sad to see a great car audio home theater business go downhill. Downtown huppins(where I bought my last theater projector) was Spokane’s home theater car audio place to go to at one time,, great memory’s.

Everyone at Huppins was knowledgeable and helpful. From our initial design to installation, we found them to be timely, professional, and so willing to go the extra mile. Our installer, Jason, went above and beyond to make sure our TV and sound system was working for our family gathering over the 4th of July weekend. I had never been to Huppins. The first thing I noticed was they adhere to all Covid 19 policies. The second thing I noticed is the staff was very inviting and friendly.The salesman that helped me was very knowledgeable. I had thought I wanted a certain turntable. There was no pressure to upgrade. However after some product comparisons I decided the initial product i was interested in was not going to work. I purchased the next model up.Im very happy with the product and the quality of service provided.

Not only did we have an amazing purchasing experience in the store, we later scheduled an installation appointment for a 77 television. The installers were incredible! They called the day before to confirm an arrival time, arrived on-time, worked expeditiously (no lolly gagging) and treated our home as though it was their own. The final results were perfect! True professionals who have secured my future business.

We purchased a TV over the phone and went to pick it up the next day. It was a 75 inch Sony and we brought a Toyota minivan to pick it up. It did not fit easily but the 2 staff members were incredibly patient and helped us remove the chairs from the vehicle and were so patient with us. Great staff and friendly service.

Was looking to buy a 4K tv and didnt want just a regular type, so he took the time to FULLY EXPLAIN the differences between all the 4K tvs they, and other stores, had to offer. Huppins installed a new sound system in our church, St Alphonsus Catholic Church in Wallace, Idaho. It was a very good experience. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They drove 75 miles to give us a quote to replace our old sound system free of charge. They gave us a detailed quote for a new system a few days later. We accepted the quote. A team of experienced installers arrived at the church on the designated date early in the morning on time. The installation went well and was completed before noon. They explained how to operate the system and were very courteous and knowledgeable. We are very pleased and excited with our new sound system. I would give them higher than 5 stars if I could. Huppins is a wonderful company with wonderful people.

I went with my mom and her husband who were looking at a new home theater setup. Associate was super knowable and not pushy at all. Answer all their questions and mine also. Lots of nice equipment to select from.

My wife and I were very happy with the entire process and especially the finished product. We wanted to have our TV mounted next to our front windows, but we didnt want our view of the lake blocked. The Huppins design team came up with a special bracket that gave us the flexibility to have the TV where we wanted it, and the ability to swing it out of the way when not in use. The install team was super, as well!

Huppins is the best place in Spokane for electronics, hands down! We had a complicated stereo setup and wanted to streamline and hook everything up to a Sonos system and they figured out a way to merge an older speaker system with the new technology. Works perfectly and we love it! We also were having some home Wi-Fi issues, and they came out and installed a new modem/router/extender system that solved all of our issues! From the awesome salesman, Steven, who was incredibly patient with my thousand questions, to the super friendly and helpful install team, we had an absolutely fantastic experience with Huppins. Highly recommend!

Its the ONLY camera store in the area. The have nothing for Panasonic cameras which I have, all the accessories are overpriced and they didn’t even have step up and step down rings.Not to mention the pushy staff that would NOT stop breathing down my neck so I could breathe and look at anything.

Quite happy with my latest experience at Huppins. I went in to look at a new projector and receiver for our media room to replace the one that I bought from them almost 12 years ago. I showed up 30 minutes prior to closing time on a Sunday, thinking I would just take a quick look at what their inventory was like and then go home and do some more research before buying such a big ticket item. Eric, the salesman there, showed me his choice for a projector that was in my budget range. It was already set up and running in a simulated theater room so I was able to actually see what it would really look like when I got it home - WAY better than taking someone elses opinion from an online (possibly paid for) review. We viewed a couple different sources and I was sold.When I asked him for a quick recommendation on receivers, he showed me a few in my price range and explained why he liked one in particular over the others. It was a last years model that was a full 50% off of the original price but at the same price or less than some lesser models.By now it was 10 minutes past closing at at no time did I ever get the impression that we were rushing or that I was keeping him late. Which I was... Also, never any attempt at up-selling.I had done a LOT of research online prior to going to Huppins and I can confidently say that they have a truly high quality selection and VERY competitive prices (especially now that any reputable online business will also charge you for local sales taxes).**I actually spent a considerable amount LESS than if I had purchased similar quality equipment online.**Best of all, their sales team ROCKS! Thanks Eric for taking the extra time to make sure that when I got home and set up that I would be thrilled. HUGE difference from what I had previously without killing the wallet!

I dont think I have ever posted a negative review, but I will make an exception this time. I see the ads on the television lately and want to throw something at the TV. My experience in the store was far from pleasant. I walked in to the store prepared to buy a good camera. I was looking at the cameras for a few minutes, and had no assistance, even though I tried to catch a sales persons eyes. Then about the time I was giving up, I heard a male voice say may I help you with something. I was about ready to reply when I turned around and saw that he was speaking with a male customer that had just walked in to the store. I was ignored because I was female? Needless to say, I walked out and went to Best Buy in The Valley where I was treated like royalty, and left there with a brand new camera.

Super helpful and great place. Didnt expect much considering I thought it was just a TV and home audio place. Like they say in their commercial they are so much more with kitchen appliances and computers my wife and I got distracted by everything when all we wanted to look at was a new sound bar

There is quite a nice variety of electronics at the store. I live some distance from their location and decided to make the trek there to purchase a new receiver. I was greeted by a salesman and explained what my issues are. He guided me to a receiver and I purchased it. I have the exact same issues with the new one. After calling the store to voice my concerns I was told it was past the return date by a few days. Now I have wasted money and time on a piece of equipment that is not pertinent to my needs.I have purchased items in the past from them. I was pleased with those.

Do not buy an Epson projector. Mine lasted 3 years and the optical engine failed. Under 5000 hours on the unit. 3020e. Called support and was told out of warranty. To repair they estimate 700 + shipping without any warranty of workmanship. I asked for 1/2 the cost to repair. No reply. Very poor customer care.

He works in the camera department and I was pleasantly surprised how knowledgeable and helpful he was especially after my very disappointing experience in Best Buy store on Newport Hwy in Spokane.I will be a repeating customer and will recommend Robert and Huppins store to anyone.

We selected Huppins to install a new sound system with our existing large flat screen TV. They gave us an initial bid that included three options. Once selected we scheduled the service install. They arrived on time and did a superb job. They were thorough, put everything back together, cleaned up afterward and gave us a very clear and easy to follow set of instructions to operate our new sound system. My wife surprised me with a new Onkyo TX-RZ820 receiver as our older Boston unit had died several months ago. The sound quality is amazing and the Dolby Atmos really brings an immersive height, width and depth sound field to the movie watching experience. With so much business online sometimes nowadays, I feel blessed to even have a hands on camera store in my town. With it is just nice to go pick up an item the same day and also to just talk to someone. Very personable and knowledgeable people and I like nice people in business. But after going in today and getting completely ignored by the employee selling me a Canon 77D lp-e17 battery, I must leave 2 stars. BEST price and UNBELIEVABLE customer service.Do you need help setting up a home theater system? If so, look no further.A little background. I started to spec out the system I was interested in about six months ago. I had already selected a projector (Optoma HD39DARBEE) and a screen (Da-Lite 36458 Model B with CSR) based on my budget and the size of the room where these were going to be installed. Wasnt sure about speakers quite yet.Anyhow, I wanted everything to be professionally installed, so I contacted Huppin’s. I ended up working with Eric, who heads Huppins Custom Install Team. The first thing I will say about Eric is that his customer service and communication skills are second to none. Im a rather particular person, and so I had LOTS of questions along the way - some were over the phone, others over email, and others still over txt messaging. Not only was Eric quick to respond (even over weekends when he was off, which I didnt expect), but he always took the time to explain all of the little details in between...I never once felt like things were rushed. He was also very respectful about some of the decisions I had already made coming into this, such as having already decided on the projector and screen...and I never felt any pressure to consider otherwise. What Eric did do, however, was carefully research the products I had chosen (including misc. items like cables, race track wire concealer, etc.) to make sure that everything would work exactly as I envisioned when his install team came out. He was meticulous. I might also add that his suggestions along the way were truly helpful. For example, I planned to have them run HDMI cable through race track wire concealer - until Eric told me about an active HDMI Balun extender solution that allowed signal to be carried over a flat CAT 7, which allowed for a much smaller footprint and cleaner look as far as the wire concealer was concerned.As we got closer to the install date, I ended up deciding on a JBL 3.1 soundbar for my audio solution. I found an awesome Black Friday deal, which I told Eric about. Eric said Huppins carried the JBL 3.1 soundbar as well and would happily match any price I found on the Web – and this way, they could have the product ready to go and bring it out with them on the day of the scheduled install. I happily agreed (way easier & more convenient for me).When that day came, Eric and his team, Jason and Darin, arrived on time ready to go. The job was originally expected to take 3 hours, but instead it took only two. These guys were quick and efficient, and the quality of their work was outstanding...everything turned out even better than I imagined.That said, after I had a few days with the system, I began to wish that I had gone with the JBL 5.1 soundbar (w/ detachable speakers) instead, so I contacted Eric to see if I could exchange the 3.1 for the 5.1. Eric was more than happy to accommodate -- two days later, I brought in the 3.1 system and made the exchange. BTW, if you too are on the fence between those two systems, DONT hesitate -- go with the 5.1! Having full surround sound is worth the extra $, especially given JBL’s recent price drop.As you can probably tell, I couldnt be happier with how everything turned out.So, what can I say about Huppins? Best. Experience. Ever.

When I walked in looking for an accessory, I didnt expect to be talked down to and made to look a fool for even suggesting that said accessory existed. If they do exist isnt a way to start a sentence. I found it, and the folks at the place I went to after were a heck of a lot friendlier and showed me right to it. First time at Huppins in many years, but it was definitely my last.

Waaaaay toooo expensive! $30,000, YES, $30,000 for a set of speakers! I dont think so. If I wanted to spend $30K, I could get a professional sound system from Carvin in California that would have 2000 to 3000W amps driving the system with three or four-way speakers that put out litterally concert level/quality sound with a rack mounted equalizer and parametric eq on the sound board and I guarantee it would sound way better! In fact it is a sound system for doing concerts! I know this first hand as a friend of mine whom I ran sound for bought a small system for about $1600 at the time which came with two mics, two three way speakers, 2000W amp, and a 16ch. mixer board. That thing was loud & clear! No distortion at all. It sounded great. Put it up against an old 8000W system that had separate woofers, midrange, and tweeter cabinets w/a 24ch mixer that kept overheating the amps which would shut down the system until it cooled off enough to start back up, and the Carvin system my friend had blew it away! If you want good sound quality, you can get it for cheaper just by buying a concert sound system.

The sales guy was only somewhat helpful. I really needed some guidance on slr cameras and he gave me very short answers. The store itself is GORGROUS....so clean and impressive. I could hang out in there for hours. Probably better prices online for most things, but its good to support local, and talk to a real person.

The crew from Huppins arrived on time and were very professional and knowledgable about our specific audio/visual needs. I did not buy all new equiment and had a problem with my receiver. I bought my last television at Huppins after spending an entire day driving all over town to every place I could think of that sells TVs. The last place I went was Huppins and I could have saved myself some time if I just would have gone there first. The sales associate was extremely knowledgeable and provided the kind of no pressure, laid back sales experience that I prefer. I told him what I was looking for, the price I wanted to spend and he showed me everything they had that fit my bill and explained what made them different. I walked out with a better TV than I was expecting to get while paying less than I had budgeted. I couldnt give them a better referral than that.

Purchased a new SONY TV from HUPPINS January 9th, after comparison shopping WALMART & COSTCO. Paid a bit more. But the purchase price included: delivery, set up & programming ... Money well spent !! Eric the tech we dealt with was knowledgeable & pleasantly professional. The set was delivered as scheduled. The delivery team cleaned up after themselves and did the job in under 30 minutes. That evening. When we realized the color & brightness (factory-settings) were too intense. I called Eric. Who talked me through the adjustment process, in less than 5 minutes ... We could not be MORE PLEASED with HUPPINS.

Somewhat discount would be the best way to describe this place as many of their products can be had for the same if not less of a price at bestbuy or amazon. Components such as speaker wire or hdmi cables are grossly overpriced. Would reccomend as a locally owned business but the employees are condescending and pushy with the sales.
