Wow!Can Wendle Ford Service do possibly any better than service writer Bruce Warren? I think not. I’ve always been happy with Wendell Ford Service however there are some individuals that stand out.Steve, can’t remember his last name who retired several years ago was one of those. I am thrilled that Bruce Warren is another stellar individual. While I highly recommend the entire service team at Wendle… If you are able to choose a service writer, you cannot do any better than Bruce.
I didn’t take my car to Wendell ford because I didn’t like the service I got. But I had to take it in there on Thursday night and this service man Bruce warren changed my perspective on Ford. He is the most nicest man I have ever met And he even finish my car in one day when they’re booked out until October 18. He had the best attitude and a genuine good person. I’m now forever going to call him if my car ever needs to be looked at again because I know I can trust him. Wendell ford your lucky you have Bruce Warren because it’s really hard to find good employees.
Jared, in the service department, was honest, helpful, and straight to the point. We brought our car in for a recall, and ended up needing something from the place we bought our car from. He laid everything out there for us. He let us know what cost what, and what to “demand” from them. He told us not to accept any less than what he suggested, and I’m blown away by how friendly and customer oriented he was. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but knowing he’ll be the one taking care of our car in the future, I’m glad we bought a Ford.
I was pleasantly thrilled with the service I had at Wendall Ford at the Y on division in Northern Spokane. I was very pleased with the Service Advisor Bruce Warren. He made my visit a superior visit. He took precarious notes as to what I made my appointment for. He even offered to have my exterior part of the car washed. My car received people who have Pride in their job. My advice to Bruce Warren get that check up just as I got my cars check up. Do your Family Proud. Love you man.
Bruce Warren, the service advisor was amazing, the car was done in record time, very beautifully. Ben Azar is a very gentle sales person. Keith was extremely knowledgeable and helped me with choosing the correct equipment when he helped me special order my custom made car.
We purchased our vehicle-CPO-from here in 2018 with an extended warranty. Immediately after we bought it, it stopped running and had to be towed back to the dealership. Just recently (August 30) the radiator blew on it and the soonest appointment I could get was 9/16. I called them and ok’d to have it towed in a few days early (9/13). When I called on 9/16 to check the status of my vehicle I was told by my service advisor that they hadn’t even got my car in yet. The next morning he called and said they looked at it and that it appeared to have additional issues-possible blown head gasket and that it would be at least another few weeks before I would get my car back. I called to follow up each week and kept getting the same story and excuses from my service advisor…”we have to wait and tear down the head to see exactly where the issue is, take pictures, submit the claim to Ford for approval and then we can get started on the repair. At one point I spoke with my service advisor and he didn’t even know about the radiator leak-which was the issue on the service ticket and why the vehicle was brought in initially! On 9/30 I stopped by in person and spoke with the service manager to ask about the reason for the tear down since they hadn’t even replaced the radiator yet and solved the initial problem. My car had just been sitting in their lot. He told me he’d look into it and that they’d start from scratch and he’d get back to me. Today, 10/1, magically, the radiator is installed, my car is done, supposedly fixed and I can come pick it up and there’s no head gasket issue. I was told I need to pay my $100 deductible for my warranty issue and I pushed back and told them absolutely not! They weren’t happy about that but we’ve been inconvenienced for over two weeks, down to one vehicle, etc. After all of the time they’ve had it, it’s ridiculous! If you need warranty service, take your car elsewhere…we’ve been offered a loaner, no issue at Gus Johnson for service that was 3 days! They’ve had it for 16!

After months of looking around for a vehicle me and my husband found the perfect one with the help of Patrick at Wendle motors. He made sure me and my husband had all our questions answered and left with the vehicle that would be best for our family. Everyone at Wendle was polite and helpful. My recent visit was less than stellar. Not surprised though to be honest because I have yet to have a seamless experience with the service department. Subpar is a generous description.1. I asked for the clicking noise coming from my front tire to be evaluated. The answer was we didnt find anything. I dont think you looked. The clicking noise isnt normal and only happens on one wheel. Doesnt take a service tech to recognize something is wrong. I willGo elsewhere for an evaluation.2. I asked for info on a remote start issue. Was told there is a known issue (some bulletin from Ford you had seen) but that your people didnt have time to look it up.3. I was asked if I wanted a car wash. I should have said no. My car was dirtier when I picked it up than it was when I dropped it off. Water spots all over it. Dont worry, I paid to have it washed later.4. My tech said he would follow up with me on 1 and 2 above. He hasnt, he wont, Im not surprised.Your department just isnt good. And you dont seem to care. Unfortunate because the people are nice and kind.
I could not say enough about the quality service received together pleasant surprise. I was expecting to be waiting a good part of the day and actually planned for the wait and to return at a later date for the interior detailing. Check in time was 8 am with a friendly good morning. At 11:30 am the Service Advisor came into the waiting area and said “my truck is ready to go”. Surprised YES. I stated we need to make an appointment to come back for the interior work. The reply was no need to “the truck is all done”. That they put two extra technicians to speed up the work. What can I say or do to show my sincere appreciation.
I have never had a better experience than this. I have taken my car into many different places, both dealerships and small shops. I had the most stressful two weeks trying to figure out what to do with my previous car. Unfortunately, the pandemic threw a wrench in everything, including the auto industry. I had to make quick decisions and figure out what would be the best for me financially and just in general. Wendle Ford was superb from the beginning of bringing my car into the shop, to then signing for a new car just two weeks later. I felt comfortable and empowered to make a decision and I owe it to the team! Truly, I have no complaints. I am so glad I ended up doing business here.
I bought a car from Wendell Ford probably 8 or 9 years ago. I did not care for the salesman. Or the way he did business with us. I had found out later that the used car I brought he had made up a story about how they had acquired it. I also had problems with having my oil changed. It cost me a lot of money due to the mechanics negligence. So when I found the Jeep I wanted I was very Leary of purchasing another vehicle from Wendell Ford. I needed my waterpump serviced on my 2013 flex (which was behind the timing chain to my surprise).All of the dealership/shops were booked 3-4 weeks out. I called Wendle Ford and was routed to Bruce. Bruce The Hit Man (former pro football player) was able to get me scheduled in faster and quote me a better price than all of the other shops/dealerships I spoke with. He was great at communicating with me about the progress and timeline. The work was done in the promised time and bill was the price quoted.I almost did not give Wendle a call because of stories that I have heard about the dealership, but I am very pleased I did. The service department received my vehicle and corrected the issue quickly and had me on my way with no additional cost to me. Started off with our salesman Nick Beirl, did a great job showing us a new truck and taking care of us. Allowing my son to hop in and check stuff out as well. Then onto Sean Gallagher the manager who helped work us a great deal on a brand new truck. Then Alex the finance guy(should be an auctioneer) bombed us through the finance process. Everyone we dealt with the whole time did great helping us save money the whole time. Zero pressure and in the end Nick spent the time in our new truck getting it set up and even made sure my phone was all connected. Couldnt be happier with our buying experience!

He showed me what I was looking for and made sure we had what we needed through the process. Kids zone was a life saver to keep a 4 and a 2 year old happy while we waited on the paperwork. I took my 2020 Ranger in for its first oil change. The oil change itself was done fine, as in the level was correct and the filter doesn’t appear to be leaking. However, they left a mess on the frame rail and didn’t install two of the plastic push pins back into the fender liner. For almost $70, I expected better.*Follow-up* To their credit, the service manager reached out to me quickly about my concerns and was quick to make it right.

Had an appointment at 1 pm. I had a ton of errands to run and I dropped it off early. They called me an hour later and said my truck was done. They rotated my tires and the cost was amazing. Much cheaper than other mechanic shops.
40000 service on our 2018 Explorer. Easy on line appointment set up. Easy check in. Service personnel were very friendly and personable. We waited at the dealership while service was being done. The job was done in less time than I expected and we were soon on our way home.

I was happy with JR in the service department. He kept me updated and was a nice guy. The problem i had was I made an appointment more than a month and when I arrived they said oh sorry you have to leave your truck here and we dont know when we can get to it. What was the point of making the appointment. I ended up paying for 6 days of rental car just to have them diagnose that nothing was wrong.

My appointment was for 11:30 and was just for oil change. Figured I would do it over my lunch and get it out of my way, plus I could wait since it was just an oil change. My car is still under warranty so figured while it is I would bring it to a dealer to have it done. I arrived about 11:15. It took 20 minutes to check me in then I was told it would be about your and half before it was finished. Guess having an appointment doesnt matter. Luckily it was only about your and 15 minutes. Didnt vacuum car out but they did wash it. I am used to being able to take car to dealer for oil change and getting it washed and vacuumed in under 45 minutes. I guess I will rethink taking it to dealer for oil changes

The service team at Wendle Ford is amazing! I had my F150 serviced with the normal oil change and the other services that go along with it. I also needed my breaks done and had them do a full detail, inside and out. It was filthy as I had just been camping and live on dirt roads. My truck looks brand new again. I couldnt be happier.The service was fast, easy and friendly. It all cost less than Les Schwab was going to charge just for the break job! And that includes the rental car (that I got in less than 5 minutes.) Thanks to everyone at Wendle Ford.
Wendle Ford has a courteous and professional staff. They did an excellent job changing the oil and rotating the tires on my F-150. The multi point inspection they performed as well was very informative and assures me that my vehicle is running in proper order. Dropped truck off at appointment time of 0930, was fixed by 1030. That was superb, BUT...When I dropped the truck off, the service advisor told me that it would take at least until 1700, if they could even get it looked at that day. This infuriated me, so I asked why do you need to make an appointment if you cant even keep the appointment. I know times are tough and getting workers back is difficult and everyone is short staffed, but a guess of over 24 hours to even look at my problem? That is unacceptable no matter what the circumstances! And extremely aggravating to think this is how valuable my time is to the Wendle staff? Very frustrating and if it wasnt for it being a Ford warranty extension repair, I would have left after my conversation with the service rep. Like I said, for some reason, it was completed in a very timely manner, and I was happy. Only after the extreme frustration that started the visit.

I have been looking for a new truck for close to a year. I dont jump into anything without researching and knowing what I want. I started with Ben Azar over the phone getting details of what I was looking for. He wasnt available the day I went in so Nick Beirl helped me out. He definitely took the time to show me different options. He was never pushy. He kept checking in while Alex was getting my extended warranty set up. He even helped me move things from old to new vehicle! I did discover a crack in my drivers side window after rolling the window down when I got home. I took my vehicle in for routine maintenance. My appointment was at three. The Works and complimentary car wash took 1.5 hours, which is what we were told when we checked the car in. We appreciated the quiet waiting room where we were able to relax and read. The staff was friendly and courteous. The work that was performed and the inspection findings were explained.
I have always had a very positive experience at Wendle Ford Service either for my personal vehicle or for work vehicle service. When I brought my C-Max in for recall service Bruce W. was my Service Advisor. He as well as the rest of the service team were very professional and attentive to everyone coming in. Matthew was great. However, when I picked up my truck they hadnt finished the recalls and now I have to figure out a way to work again, not to mention the other guy didnt know where my truck was at when I got there. Didnt tell me what was done to my Ford or anything. Didnt even give me my paperwork, I grabbed it and had to ask which was my copy. I had a way better experience with Toyota for that recal the week prior then I did with Ford. Then even helped me get to work, Ford told me I was SOL. Overall probably wont buy a Ford again.

Once I arrived, I walked over to the car I saw online, test drove it, and bought it the same night. It was the one! Kyle was so ready to help, he even came in on his day off. The team that came in with the contract were wonderful as well. They explained everything to me very well. They also took my trade-in and gave me more than I know it was worth. Original appt was for 30,000 mile service. Then my steering went wonky and my sunroof wouldn’t open. Wendell Ford added these issues to the same appointment and Bruce Warren confirmed a rental car for me, he also took care of all the paperwork (which is huge in case you aren’t aware … there is a national shortage of available cars). Bruce communicated with me via phone calls and text the entire time Blue Betty was “at the spa”, to keep me up to date with any parts delays and work progress. He is “The Man” to see in the service department.
Bruce kept me updated on my car and when it took longer than expected compensated me for the wait. Excellent customer service.

2019 f350 and the front axle has the death wobble. Had Serviced and its doing it again. 1000 dollars out of pocket and now it fixed.
Very good experience in all aspects of our service needs. Professional and friendly staff from start to finish. Needed an oil change and transmission fluid checked (that has to be done under the vehicle for the transmission) and don’t have any faith in someone who is not familiar with fords. Would certainly go back again.
I called 3 weeks prior and asked how much a oil change was for my 2016 Ford f350 diesel truck. Was quoted $120. Made an appointment... had to wait 3 weeks to get inShowed up in plenty of time. Was then quoted $170.00 was told I needed a new air filter. Mathew said it would take about an hour and a half.Asked him if they could also wash my windsheild as i cant reach the middle of the glass. He said sure. An hour and a half later he came in and said i needed oil filters replaced at the tune of a total of $400.00 +tax. Said I should change them every 1500 miles.Choked and said go ahead though I bought the truck just over 6 months ago *( used from a dealer)Paid and went out to the truck. Not washed but it did look like they may have sprayed it lightly with a hose. Windows were wet, still a 6 inch bug smear on drivers side of windsheild, mudd on the drivers side running board.I dont know much about trucks and all the running parts BUT if Wendell cant wash a windsheild or spray off the mudd on a running board ?????? Then....I will not go back again... for anything to be done on my vehicles

They guys at the counter were really great and the repair seems to be perfect. Disappointing that I waited 2 weeks for an appointment and then they had my rig for a week and half for just a couple hours of work. I’m sure some of that had to do with the warranty paperwork/authorizations/etc, but still that was a painfully long time.

If I could give less than one star, I would. Insanely poor customer service in the service department. I bought a 2021 F-150 Lariat in March of 2021. The truck just turned 4000 miles (so still under warranty) and has started having a sensor issue with the interior work station. I called 17 days ago and made the appointment for today to get it looked at. My wife had to take the truck to the 9 am appointment since I was working. When she dropped it Off, the service tech would not give her how long it would take to fix, he said he didn’t know since he hadn’t looked. After her waiting 6 HOURS while I was at work, she finally contacted them to ask what was going on since we had heard nothing from them. Not only had they not even looked at the truck yet, but we were told that they didn’t even know if they could look at it today and they may need to keep it overnight. My wife asked if she could pick it up tonight and drop it off again tomorrow morning to which she was told that they couldn’t guarantee they could get to it tomorrow….after I made an appointment t for them to look at it almost 3 weeks ago!!!She ended up going to pick up the truck without them even touching it.

Explained different financing options. We already had preapproved financing. One of the better car buying experiences that we have had. Felt like we could walk away at anytime.
Booked appt. on line, service personnel were polite, and knowledgeable.Vehicle was ready to go in time frame stated, and no surprises on the invoice.
They told me my truck was fixed. They did as little as possible. I called them on It, and they claimed service wasnt needed I took it back to them for ac (after they claimed they fixed it) and they now discovered the system was at half capacity. Swindle ford should be their name.
So we have been getting things in the mail that I have two recalls on my vehicle and when I go to get it schedule wendle ford is the only place that can fix the airbag recalls on my vehicle. We have been trying to get it in a fixed for the last 3 years. Every time I call to get in I am not getting through, I leave a voicemail and no one calls back, or i am put on hold for 30 minutes to an hour and then I hang up because I cant be on the phone for the next 5 hrs before someone answers the call again. Not impressed at all. It is ridiculous that I have to wait for so long when it is an important thing that needs to be replaced. If something happens because of the airbag it will not be a good day at all.
Had the truck serviced today. Great job by my service advisor JR! Work took about how long he estimated and the price was exactly what he quoted me. Highly recommend Wendle at the Y!
They did not keep the appointment, technician gave us a computer read out andv2 pages of instructions to fix the auto stop. They said it works. It Not working is the reality.They basically brushed off my wife. Brand new van and still having difficulty with Wendle service.Good news is the other Ford company in town will fix it.
I have been taking my 2003 F-250 to Wendle for many years. Always friendly and helpful and do a great job taking care of my truck. Highly recommend them!

All necessary maintenance was done satisfactorily but the complimentary car wash fell short. Top of car was left dirty.
