I would recommend this shop and mechanic and will use them again when the occasion arises. It speaks volumes when the competition recommends a business, which is how I ended up at Dans! The first shop I called was too busy and did not hesitate to point me in this direction. Dan was friendly, professional, communicative, and straightforward. I appreciated the time he took to explain to me some of the details about the mechanics of the problem. Dan is the real deal!

Nice place to do business with. They were happy to help drain my ac freon. I called 2 other shops here in Spokane. The first said they could do it but dont do that for people. The second said $49.95 and I had to make an hour appointment. Helping people out and protecting the environment should be every business goal. Thank you Dan!

Excellent service. These guys do great work and they dont over charge. Very satisfied! We even took my grandmothers truck to them when it had an issue and they stayed true to their great work.

Dan is very fair and helped me out over the top. My vehicle was not turning over so I had it brought into his shop and had some disappointing news regarding my vehicle but he worked with me and let me know the best options. Great place reasonable rates.

Performed UNAUTHORIZED repairs! No estimate, no phone call informing the estimate. Just went ahead and done a repair without any communication what so ever. Then called saying the car was ready and the bill was high. Asking to do a repair is common legal practice. Not sure he is following the law by making unauthorized repairs. Just because a car was dropped off to diagnose doesnt mean your are authorized to fix it without a phone call on the cost involved. He might be a good repairman but his communication skills are lacking. Wont be dealing with this shop again.

Best experience Ive ever had with a mechanic. I told him what I needed done over the phone, he gave me an estimate, I dropped it off in the late afternoon as they were closing and by 10am the next day it was done. They didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need and were spot on with the estimate. This is a rare honest, professional no-bs shop. I found my new mechanic.

If i could give negative stars I would. Never in my life have i encountered 2 more inept, unprofessional, bumbling facsimiles of mechanics.Took my Ford F150 here because they were cheaper than other area mechanics. Beware! You get what you pay for in all respects here.In April my drive shaft snapped. I ordered a brand New one from Amazon at a fraction of the cost I was quoted. It came. They installed it. 4 drives later it shattered.Their explanation was that it must have been a faulty part. Yet when they pulled said faulty part off they told my fiance Gee it looks like it was about 2 inches too long or something! Clearly it wasnt or why did they cram it on there in the first place? Why tell me that AFTER IT BROKE? It baffled them that I could order parts off the New fangled interwebz and cut out Napa or Auto Zone as a middle man, thus saving myself the ridiculous markup.So, giving them the benefit of the doubt, I sent the faulty part back and ordered a different one from a different manufacturer after driving in to them and personally making them approve the New part as not too long.They installed it. We made it 7 blocks before it shattered in the exact same way as before. They went so far as to call the manufacturer and complain that this part also was faulty so NOW, 2 months, 4 tows, 2 different drive shafts and about a million headaches later I STILL dont have my truck fixed.With a steady hand, a YouTube video, and half a brain youd be better off fixing WHATEVER is wrong with your car yourself than taking it to these charlatans.Im not a mechanic personally but neither are these men. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND DONT EVER TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR CAR!

Needed to get an oil change last minute. They told me I needed an appointment but then asked when I needed it by. I told them at least the same day. I waited a little longer than other oil change places, but they took good care of me going the extra mile and fitting me into their busy schedule.

Poor customer service and experience. They are not very helpful or polite. Getting a quote on the phone is near impossible. Completely wasted my time. They do not seem to care whether or not they get your business or any referral.

Had oil changes done on a couple of vehicles, talked with Dan quite awhile and was confident with him, so had him repair the 4wd on my Trailblazer. He decided to rip out my $600 security system because he said it was probably causing a problem with the main computer chip. He still had trouble completing the repair and took it to Forrest to have them make the repair. Charge for the repair was in line with standard price, but quit working within a week. Was obviously in over his head on this and should have taken a pass. Worst though was ripping out the security system WITHOUT ASKING, no apology, acted like he was a hero for doing it. Nice enough guy, but he has unrealistically high opinion of himself.COST: about $600 for an failed repair + $600 destroyed security system. Pretty horrible experience.Followup: Took the vehicle to AutoNation repair department. (Had avoided the big shops cuz I figured they would charge more). They had to replace the actuator Dan put in, had the repair completed in three days, and charged slightly less

Their truck and the semi blocked the road as I was trying to get to the gas station, and didnt move for 15mins... Thanks for that.
