New reliable machines & lots of questions finally answered...The reps actually have experience with the mechanical side. Curtis helped me. Very professional.The best part about this location is the variety of machines and reasonable shop rates. Call ahead if you want to have your machine fixed/oil changed quickly (they will get it done right away with an appointment).Spent half a year shopping and doing research, and ended up with brand new ski doo snowmobile (600 ACE 4-stroke) and a brand new Yamaha four wheeler (686 cc special edition). Felt really nervous spending all that money, but luckily found really reliable machines with the right power.The service manager answered all of my questions (I had a lot of them). I highly recommend going in or calling them for a test ride. I spent countless hours trying to find the right machine for the right price all over the internet, but both were surprisingly right here only an hour outside Rapid City. I even got a great deal on accessories. They also had battery maintainer connections on all their machines (I have never seen a dealership do that).So far Ive gone to this place around ten times total, and plan on being back. Motorsports are really fun, but you will get hammered if you go into the wrong dealerships. Id rather make the drive to Spearfish.

Would work on my fourwheeler after rapid city power sports said they would not because I changed the fuel pump to electric. Called and talked to Troy he said bring it in. Fast turn around. Will drive the hr to have them work on all my stuff.

I was in town for sturgis. My GPS went out on my 2018 goldwing. I pulled in to there shop and asked for help. I was introduced to troy shop manager i believe. Within 30 minutes troy had me a whole new download put in my bike.the team up there are awsome. Thank you again troy you rock.

My husband and I showed up here on Saturday at 12:30 needing repair to our CanAm side by side. We thought we just needed a new belt. The service manager was extremely friendly and helpful. He got our vehicle in right away and they got the belt replaced and the mess cleaned up from the fire that we experienced while riding. When they test drove it, they found a bad valve cover gasket, so replaced that. The fire had burned a hole in the valve cover, so he got one off of another machine that was waiting on parts and put it on ours. (That other guy will get a new one) And when it was all said and done, we walked out of there after 4 hours, with a fixed machine and a bill that was a pleasant surprise. Our vacation was saved!! We cant say thank you enough and highly recommend!!

We were in Spearfish SD on July 13, 2019. Our Can Am broke down north of the interstate and our friends towed us for 6 plus miles to Outdoor Motor Sports because this business came up on Google as a place to bring a Can Am to be worked on. We entered the facility and talked with the person behind the desk and tried to explain what had happened to our Can Am and we were blown off. He had no interest in helping us at all. We explained we were 400 miles from home and he pretty much told us to bad there was a 4 wheeler rally going on and no time for us. We just wanted someone to give us some ideas of what the problem could be or to just take a quick look at it. He was very rude to us and said leave it and we can look at sometime next week if we had time. We have a motorcycle and a Can Am and have always felt that this kind of industry is very open to helping in need. This facility gets my rating of 0. They were the rudest facility we have ever come across for any kind of help. I would NEVER recommend this shop to anyone who is in need of help. My rating would be less than the first star.

I located a product for sale on a national website, when I called the store and asked to speak to the sales department I was given general information about the vehicle, overall condition etc. I decided to purchase the vehicle and gave a deposit. At the end of the business day I noticed the deposit was not withdrawn from my account (this is after I made arrangements for freight shipping) when I called I was told it could not be purchased and approval from ownership would be needed and I would be called back. Fwd to 2 days later no return calls and no concrete answer as to why a vehicle listed online could not be sold to me even after I agreed to sign a waiver of warranty. After a few calls and yet no return call I decided to look elsewhere for someone who would take my business and money. I didn’t give a 1 star review because the rep was actually pleasant but the lack of follow up and never being told why the vehicle listed online could not be sold to me still has me scratching my head

Great service! Had an appointment for an oil change while passing through the area. Weather was chasing us. Kris and the service team not only got us in earlier than scheduled, but they did the service on my Spyder quickly. We managed to get ahead of most of the rain.Definitely top notch service!

Great and friendly staff. I flew up from Atlanta, Georgia to purchase a bike that Id been keeping my eye on for months.The bike was fourteen years old and I expected wear and tear but not the dents that werent mentioned in the ad. They werent deal breakers so after the paperwork was completed, I rode the bike all to Atlanta.I also requested a framed poster that was on the wall in the finance office. They were happy to send it, C.O.D. which I agreed to. Over a month later I called to see if theyd sent the poster, which they hadnt, and I asked if they would share the shipping cost being as though they didnt bother to clean my bike at the time of purchase. They politely declined and shipped the poster (C.O.D.).I finally recieved the poster and guess what?They didnt bother to clean it either.Nevertheless, I cleaned both the bike and the poster and Im very satisfied with both.Thank you, Outdoor Motorsports.

I was on a ride a long way from home (which is WA state) when my rear tire blew out.These guys went above and beyond to get my tire replaced and get me back on the road so I could continue my trip.Great bunch of guys. Spearfish is lucky to have a good local shop like this.

We were in town for Sturgis and noticed our cords showing on the back tire while stopped for gas in Spearfish. We drove straight over and they were able to replace the tire and do an oil change while they were at it. We were able to be back on the road in a few hours and enjoy the rest of the rally with no worries. We also bought a motorcycle while we were there and Shannon and the rest of the staff did an amazing job helping us with that purchase!

Good service and inventory.

I had moved to Utah for a few years and last December I was able to move back to Spearfish. Some friends of mine were spring checking the 2017 Summit Xs and before I knew it, I was doing the same. Since then, Ive purchases a couple helmets, all my snowmobile gear, and quite a few odds and ends. They have an EXCELLENT crew and I always feel welcome when I go inside. Thank you everyone and you will see me often.

Ian made the transaction smooth and effortless. I was in town to work the rally and my vehicle broke down. I was in need of transportation and had no way to get to the store. The crew arranged delivery and to my surprise I had my scooter within hours of making the purchase. You can tell when a company is well managed and cared for. The staff takes pride in their work. This is a company that knows what they are doing and doesnt hesitate to go above and beyond average customer service.

Since the new ownership took over, Ive noticed a big improvement in the service department. They are friendly, go out of their way to take care of your bike (like fitting your bike in on a day when they really dont have the time!), explain everything, & every last person in the service department I talked to was helpful & courteous. It didnt used to be that way. Keep up the good work!

Outdoor Motorsports got my bike in to be serviced in a reasonable amount of time and were good about calling me to tell me what they found out. They test rode it a couple times, but could not get it to repeat the issue I was having with it. Isnt that just the way it goes? They did a great job detailing my concerns and trying their best to fix them. Other visits have had great customer service.

On Firday July 26, 2019 i was returning from the Full Throttle Saloon to my camp. I was on rte 79 just outside of Sturgis. My Commander broke a belt leaving me stranded on the side of the road. I searched for dealers and called them and explained my situation to them it was close to closing time. They were able to come and get my commander and take me back to my camp. They called me on Saturday morning saying that they had repaired the belt and could bring it to my camp. I had it back before noon on Saturday morning.This dealer went out of their way to help me as I was from out of town and did not have options to get me back up and running. Because of Outdoor Motorsports I was able to enjoy the rally in Sturgis without any worries. THANK YOU !!!!!!

On cross country trip to/from Dalton Highway Alaska back to Louisiana ended up with 2 flats in same day on side of road during 450 mile leg. Called stores to locate replacement tires and found Outdoor Motor Sports in Spearfish, 80 miles from my last flat. Tried to make it before closing and made it there at 5.40p. They had no issue with selling me the rear tire and tube, but when asked to offer some assistance with the install there was none available. Even us taking of the wheel and old tire (again) and bringing in rim, tube and outer, they refused to assist. We ended up changing tires for 3rd time that day in parking lot in the rain. Employees were leaving 1 by 1, staring at us as they left the premises.As a business owner myself, I would never leave a customer stranded like that.

Very friendly. Had new tires installed, then charged an additional $100 a month later to replace the valve that was installed incorrectly. I had 20,000 mile service done and they replaced the engine oil which should not have been replaced until the 24,000 mile service. They put in 10-30 oil while the owners manual said it takes 10-40 oil as 10-30 will only work up to 80 degrees, while it was 100 degrees outside. I asked for the status of the rear brakes and got no reply. The pads were down to metal and now I have a warped disc to replace.

I shopped around online for weeks, looking for the perfect ride, and found an 85 Yamaha Venture Royale with a trike kit. Good mileage, good price. It ends there. I know there are no guarantees, but I believed Outdoor Motorports when they told me it was good shape. I purchased this bike in NOV 2015, and have put less than 50 miles on the bike. Its either sat due to weather or been in the shop. Im now in over $7800 (purchased for$5300) and it still isnt running.Be very careful if buying online from Outdoor Motorsports. in fact, they broke one of the airwings loading on the truck and said they would send a replacement . . . crickets. Very disappointed. IF I can sell this lemon, Ill lose about three grand. Thanks guys.

The service at this dealership is absolutely awesome!!! We saw an RT Limited at the Rally we were interested in and were directed to the dealership, when we got there the had an F-3 Limited that we were also interested in. Shannon Cudmore greeted us with a big smile and How can I help you?We said we would like a quote on the F-3 and RT limiteds and we would be trading in two 2012 RT limiteds. In just under three hours the deal was made with us being very satisfied customers. We returned on Friday to pick up our new bikes and they were ready and waiting as promised. This was a totally awesome experience through out the process, everyone was very pleasant and helpful and Shannon actually made it fun !!!! Rating this dealership on a scale of one to ten they get a Fifteen !!! The dealership they were compared to was Conroe Tx. ProPower Sports, they would get a one on your scale.
