I rent at a specific location on a regular basis due to proximity of our corporate location. Unfortunately the team does not meet minimum expectations on a regular basis.Last rental wasnt the size vehicle I reserved, nor did my company get a refund of the price difference. The vehicles are no longer filled full with fuel. No longer receive clorox wipes to sanitize. I made an appointment to take delivery of the vehicle at 8 am & it took until 8:25 before I was reviewing the vehicle.Previous rental the vehicle barely had gas, and a bad tire.Its been real disappointing over the last year of rentals.

Hello, I was appalled at the service given to me. It was a cold and rainy day. I had to inspect the rental in the rain with a trainee. They did not offer the area on the side to finish the transaction. I had made reservations well in advance. The senior employee told me she had to find me a car. Which had to be washed and detailed. The car appeared to have been scraped on the front end driver side. The senior employee denied it was a small hole and scratches. After I told her to look at it she requested the trainee write it up. I took pictures of all defects I found. This is unprofessional on all levels. When I returned the vehicle again it was very stressful and hot. Standing in a long line for a hour only to find out the company had a drop box. I understand about the restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But the service was very poor. No Accommodations was made for the clients at all. Surely you could have installed a tent, awning, umbrellas or something. The pandemic have been around for a year plus.I sincerely don’t think I will ever use this service again.

My boyfriend went here to get a rental while his truck was being serviced. BIG MISTAKE. So they gave him a chevy trax. First, the car looked like it had been in a accident. There were scrapes along the side of it. Second, the inside. OMG! The inside was horrible.. The windows were nasty, there was dog hair in the back of it.. And lastly there must have been something in there because when I sat on the passenger side of the car I was bit on the back on my neck! There were white spots on the driver seat and there were red spots on the ceiling of the car. I think its sad that they let him take that car like that! They honestly should be shame! By the way the Chevy Trax was like a burgundy color.

Enterprise, Telegraph Rd in Southfield, MI - the rental place where you will get a well used rental with 50k miles on it !I was soo disappointed at the SUV they dropped off to me, first of all I requested a premium Sedan for various important reasons the week prior to the rental, when I dropped my personal car off to the body shop for repairs, enterprise dropped off a SUV to me at the shop, which was very convenient and am thankful, but it was an SUV and I specifically asked for a sedan the week prior when I reserved a vehicle, they told me they were out of Sedans today, and I asked why they did not order me one the week prior !I had no choice but to accept it or walk home!The SUV had 50k miles already on it and it made an annoying howling sound from the rear when I drove on the freeway. The rear tires were worn irregularly on the inner edges of the tire threads, which was causing the annoying sound, most likely from a present or prior suspension / alignment issue. I’ve been a enterprise silver member and rented many cars over the years from different enterprises in the metro Detroit area and different states & airports, a person should never expect to have a rental car in worse mechanical condition then their own vehicle.I called and complained and they told me to bring it back and they would change out the vehicle with a different vehicle on their lot, but I did not have the time to get back to enterprise and tell my issue to another enterprise representative again, and exchange the vehicle, so I just kept it and drove it and then turned it in early, going forwards I will either rent from a different rental company or rent from a different enterprise!The employees I spoke to were nice, but somebody in the Enterprise rental corporation is not doing their job and slacking on selling the higher mileage rental vehicles !!

Over all great experience..Their express online check in requires a lot of work...so far it bites Donkey...However; THAT.The staff I did have contact with, professional.One suggestion....please clean the inside of the front windshield; after sanitizing the vehicles the windshield on my rental was really tough to see thru, and to clean.

Id like to give my feedback in 2 different areas of my car rental experience:1) PERSONNEL: I am so impressed by the employees I encountered at the 4 Enterprise locations I visited during this last rental. Each employee greeted me warmly, was knowledgeable and professional.2) RENTAL CAR(s): The downside is that, as I mentioned earlier, I had to visit 4 Enterprise locations during this rental. The 15-passenger van that I reserved a full week in advance was littered with garbage on the inside and marked with scratches, chips, and a bumperfull of dead mosquitos. It seems as if the Southfield-Telegraph location didnt even attempt to prepare the vehicle after its last use. This was upsetting, because I spent awhile cleaning it myself before my passengers arrived.Once I got on the road, I learned that the van had some mechanical issues. The sliding passenger door didnt close properly, and there was clearly a problem with the steering. While turning through the curves on the interstate, the steering system seemed to jerk and pull creating a scary and unsafe experience. I tried to exchange the van at a local Enterprise, but they had no vans. I had no choice but to continue driving to Cleveland. Finally, at the Cleveland airport I exchanged the van for a smaller car. Upon returning that car at an Enterprise location in Oak Park, MI, I got a call from the Southfield-Telegraph location questioning why I turned the van in early. They were clearly annoyed that I didnt return it as-planned at their location. They were questioning me as to whether or not I truly was unable to drive it home, and expressed their annoyance. That is not the type of response I wanted to hear after jumping through several hoops on my trip to remedy by broken van. Im not happy with the condition in which the van was given to me, and the lack of remorse from the renting agency. You should take better care of your cars.

I had a great experience at this Enterprise location. Having a corporate account, there were unexpected occurrences, however, Jake and other representatives carefully explained how corporate account are utilized through Enterprise. The rental process was fairly done in reasonable time. When extensions were needed, I called in and it was handled via phone. Deposit was returned without issue.

The line to wait for a car was very long and slow moving. However the staff was very friendly and attentive. I received my car after about an hour of waiting. The car I received was missing 2 hubcaps on the driver side and had only a half tank of gas. It smelled like smoke. The exterior was not washed instead just sprayed with water to appear washed. I was told this was the only car available in the full size car category. Nothing was done to remedy the situation and after waiting an hour I reluctantly drove off with the vehicle. The return process was pretty seamless. Waited less than 15 minutes to return the car.

I have previously never had an issue, but this rental was a bit different. The problems began at the reservation. I made my reservation on 11/3/20, got a rate for the rental etc, but never received my confirmation email. I callback and my rental isnt in the system, but when I was transferred back to reservation a manager located the reservation, but stated it never went through because I was unable to drop the car back off on a Sunday. O was never called regarding the misinformation and if I hadnt followed up I wouldnt have had a rental for my sons birthday trip. When I finally get that resolved the total was more than double what I was previously quoted, eventhough they saw what the rep advised me. Instead of honoring because it was her mistake the inconvenience was flipped to me, and I had no choice due to short notice. When I get the car it wasnt clean at all, and the jeep drove rough. This was just not an experience I was prepared to experience with Enterprise, and it was honestly pretty shocking.

HelloThe vehicle itself was nice. The staff was nice. The car smelled like marijuana which is a problem for me.The vehicle was also not very clean. I am a noñ smoker and the smell made me gag. IAM allergic to tabacco as well. This made .y rental experience awful.I immediately phoned Enterprise about the smell and vehicle not being very clean They assured me it was cleaned prior to me renting. Again, not a good experience for me.

If you want to lose money come here, they will tell you one thing and charge you another and when they say they are going to reverse your money back you will never get it,, I’ve waiting over a month to get my money back that was owed to me and I still have not received it nor the deposit that was supposed to come back. I just took it as a lost so if you are okay with companies taking more money then they suppose to and not returning deposits this is the place for you😐

Limited selection, but thats expected for a smaller locationHowever, I recently recieved a Camry that had mechanical problems. They graciously replaced it without hassle, but that should not have happened in the first place.

I have rented from Enterprise many times before, and always found their service outstanding. However, I was put out this time when I returned the car. It took quite a while to return the car because the lot was so full there was simply no place to pull in, and I was blocking traffic, with no one available to assist. I finally parked in the least obtrusive place i could find and returned the keys to the drop box (I asked permission to do so). I understand present circumstances require patience by everyone, but I was charged for cleaning the car, and although there were some chip crumbs on the seat that I had intended to brush off (but didnt because I was in a rush to leave), there wasnt any filth or excessive dirt.Also, maybe they should check the car, because my wife insisted that there was a strong smell of tobacco smoke remaining there from a previous owner.

Not a very good experience. My reservation was for 12pm on Saturday. I got there between 12 & 12:02. I waited in line for the MANAGER to come and tell me that I was too late & she would not serve me. She said that I should have been there before 12. I informed her that my reservation was for 12 and I needed the car to drive out of town. She said she was going home, but would see if her staff would wait on me, because she wasnt. Then another young lady came out and waited not only on me, but another person behind me. She was very professional, and she wasnt the manager.If you want to close and be finish by noon, then online booking should not allow you to book after 11:30.It is ashame when a MANAGER has no customer service skills, just rushing to get out the door.Please Re-train.

I was very disappointed to have made a reservation for a SUV and none were available when I arrived. I had to wait outside in the sun for an hour and a half.Also, although I liked the Ford Escape, that shouldnt be considered a medium sized SUV.

Dont bother.They literally put me on hold without saying hello or asking me to please hold the guy mumbled something under his breath. I can only guess or assume that he said please hold then left me waiting listening to their song for more than 9 minutes.This happened today 7/22/2020, about 5 minutes ago.I have a photo of the time I spent on hold but Google isnt allowing me to share the screenshot with this listing.If you need a same-day rental (today) all of the Enterprise locations in Oakland County ate sold out. Reservations must be made one week in advance. Dont dare to ever have an emergency.

The location in Southfield, MICHIGAN is by far the worst experience I’ve had at a rental car company.Yes they were cheaper in price and in my neighborhood however poor service and overall lack of value out shadowed the pros.Terribly under staffed .. current staff is so over worked they are making careless mistakes ( I had to have the rep re -do my rental contract twice ) No WiFi available on mini van rentalsVehicle wasn’t ready .. although I had a reservation.First vehicle didn’t pass the initial inspection.. had to wait for another .. no gas in the second vehicle ( light was on )And in the hour it took for me to get my vehicle the printed copy of my receipt was actual a print out of another renter ( DL number, address and other sensitive information on the receipt)I’ll continue to rent from the airport location for personal and business use

The rental experience was very pleasant as I came to town to close a deal and had multiple delays and I had to extend my rental longer than expected. I did not like the pick up process standing outside without shade or chairs. I understand the COVID19 precautions but the Southfield location needs to be configured for compassionate outside waiting.

When I picked up the vehicle at the Southfield location the line took a half hour in 90 deg heat. Then when I finally got to the front of the line I had to wait another 10 minutes waiting for the car to be washed. Never had this problem at the oak Park location.

Was not sure how to go about renting so I processed the rental through Costco. Thought it would turn out to be a major cluster.Needed a 15 passenger van and had no idea what selection they had. Went up there two different times to look and see what might be available.I can only say that they were the most accommodating and friendly place to deal with!They went above and beyond to get us exactly what we wanted.Highly recommend this Enterprise location for your rental car needs!

The receptionist told me they called the night before but in all actuality they left a voicemail message for me while I was waiting in line. As a result I was a hour late to work. First off, even if it is 2025, I want to rent a 2025 or 2026 vehicle not a 2024. I rented a car from Enterprise in July 2020 and drove off in a 2019; this company gave me an old (relative) car.The first problem was the car scent was too much perfume. While I did not mind it, I was pulled over by Illinois state police and they had a dog walk pass the car and affirmed there were drugs in the car. There were no drugs in the rental. The wicked (Psalms 58:3) edomite police tossed all my belongings. They even open sealed mail. This is all Enterprise fault because they did not offer me a car with a neutral scent.The second problem was something on the highway cracked the windshield. I drove west from Detroit to Portland. I arrived at the Portland Airport (PDX) to swap vehicles because there was an engine light and the cracked windshield. Customer service were so rude demanding I pay for the window or file an insurance claim. While I voiced my concerned I was not hollering to the top of my lungs I used my many waters voice just as Christ use in Revelation 1:15 to voice my concern that the cracked windshield is not my fault. The Enterprise customer service employee called Portland police on me accusing me of screaming (your employee lied on me). I was voicing my side that I am not at fault and your employee risked my life over a cracked windshield while my insurance is American Express credit card (quality insurance). There is a history of edomite police and people in the land of modern-day Babylon murdering ISRAELITES. I accuse your company of attempted murder.To conclude I do intend on renting another car in the future. If Enterprise does not make this right, chances are I and my household will not rent from Enterprise.KJV | Jeremiah 30:16 - Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey.KJV | Revelation 13:10 - He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Bad business!! Me and my wife rented a vehicle from the Southfield location and turned the car in on its scheduled day for it to be returned we were charged for extra days that we didnt have the car! We were told to drop the key in the drop box. Again bad business you all need someone checking the box whats the point in having a drop box and not check it and then charge us for car that not even in our possession

I made a reservation over the phone. When I arrived the vehicle I reserved was parked at the front door. It was a good quality vehicle. The only issue I had with it is that it hadnt been cleaned properly. The exterior needed to be washed. The interior had spilled potato chips in the sides of the seat. Upon returning the vehicle it was a quick process. They didnt send receipts or contract to the right email. However, they did offer me a ride home and I was overall satisfied.

I recently rented a car at this location. My insurance took care of it as part of a claim. I had the good fortune of being picked up and helped by Heather when I rented and returned the vehicle. I have rented twice from this location in the past few weeks. The cars have been great, and the folks behind the counter have also been great. I have been frustrated by a couple of things though: Ive tried calling the location directly several times to ask specific questions and am hold for more than a few minutes. The questions I wanted to ask were about late-night drop off and parking on site, which I didnt get answered over the phone and then was frustrated to find that there is no on-site parking or late night drop off! I was told to park somewhere nearby and considering the location is on Telegraph, there isnt much around!

Good place to rent friendly staff had correct vehicle that I had reserved, the only problem I have is not with the location or the staff it is whatever they use to clean the inside has a slight distinct odor that I do not like, not sure what is used but it is not a pleasant odor to me, I am very sensitive to odors, maybe nobody else notices! Thank you great job to the enterprise staff!

Process improvements made all the difference! In & out of there for pick up & drop off within 10 minutes each time. I needed to drop the off at a different location I was told No problem! and it wasnt. Also needed to use my debit card & it was done with no hassle. Im quite pleased Enterprise. Quite! The only complaint was pricing. Im glad my insurance was paying for it. The cost during the week is high, imo. Worth it, but ...ouch!
