Rented the Rolls Royce for my nephew’s prom and the driver Chris was outstanding; he called when on his way to make sure the address was correct, was professional, and called with updates throughout the night. He also called the next day to inform me that my nephew left his debit card for pick up. The only thing that prevented a 5 star review is the communication leading to the event wasn’t there - I had to call to make sure all was confirmed as well as call twice for my receipt once paid in full. This is super important when there’s a purchase of this magnitude and when there’s a special event to assure the client all is well. I’m seeing the bad reviews and feel bad, but also very happy we didn’t experience any of it. Thank you Nader and Chris!

If you want them to RUIN your wedding and make you cry from stress while you’re in the middle of taking your wedding photos, call these guys!!!! These people called me TWO HOURS before the pick up time to tell me that the the Rolls Royce that I rented for my wedding was NOT going to pick us up because of a leak issue that happened the night before. They had no other Rolls Royce available and we had to scramble at the last minute to find transportation from our hotel. To say that I wasn’t pleased is very much an understatement.I should have known that they were going to be this unprofessional since the owner had told me that they would send me the agreement on a specific date and didn’t send it. I had to follow up with them more than once to get the contract. Same goes for the refund, I had to call them twice to remind them I hadn’t received a refund.It was stressful enough planning a wedding during Covid, and this company added to that stress by being unprofessional and really ruining what would have been a special time for my husband and I on our wedding day.

You will know why I am saying this after you read our horrid experience as customers with this horrible Car Rental business, and the so-called owner named Sam.My sons wedding was on June 25th. He was referred to this Car Rental . He reserved a Mercedes for his Big Day. On the scheduled day, he went to pick up the car only to be told that the Mercedes was not available. He was told it was at shop for service .The photos in their advertisement shows numerous luxury cars- Anyways, they settled on giving my son a Corvette--not exactly what he was hoping. Nonetheless, he did not know that the Corvette was out of gas & the Air condition doesnt even work. Who rents a car to a customer with an empty gas tank and No A/C during Summer season and without telling my Son? Because of this, the car stopped twice, once when he was driven it going to take photos with his bride. Then, it started only to stop again, but this time in the middle of a highway. He miraculously avoided an accident on his WEDDING DAY. My son called the Detroit Luxury Car Rental to inform them the car just died again, but received an ugly attitude problem from the customer rep. He was told to bring the car and get another one! how was he supposed to drive the car that just died on him? The owner must be very smart, thats why he did not need a contingency plan! they sent him another car, a BMW this time. But the BMW looked suspicious. It was recently painted but the paint was shady and it smell marijuana, unprofessional for a luxury car rental place. It looked as if it was stolen. Otherwise, I checked the VIN number and found out the {BMW Primary Damaged By Flood and its condition Cant Test or Start or Run at the time was bought}. License plate was EXPIRED { Expiration June 18-2020} My son was lucky he was not stopped by the Police on his wedding day.The next day, I went to the Detroit Luxury Car Rental to return the BMW and to let them know about what happened to my son. When I arrived at the lot, I was surprised to see no cars whatsoever outside or inside the showroom, despite all these fake marketing photos. I knocked on a closed door, a woman open the door. I told her have a complain about the mishaps that occurred to my son on the best day of his life. She turned her face and called the owner named Sam. As soon as he appeared with his angry face and attitude, he asked his assistant if she closed the door--which was odd since the business is located in Southfield and there were no gangs hanging around his business and this did not justify the strict security measures. Besides, he had no cars in the lot to worry about! As I sat down to tell him what happened, from a businessman to a businessman, not asking for a refund just to log a complaint, the owner Sam interrupted me and asked did I sign the lease? I said, no but he is my son who was inconvenienced and I can get him on the phone to verify and authenticate anything for you. Sam all of a sudden turned vulgar and started screaming and yelling as if he was on something. He did not seem normal at all while he was screaming his head off. I have been in the customer service business for over 36 years and this is not how to treat a customer. He was off the wall to a degree he got up ready to have a physical altercation with me. An employee got in the middle and stood between him and I. Are you serious? Really???Does this sound normal to you, that a business owner behaves this way? He asked me out of his business just because I came to tell him what happened to my son. I am sure Sam is not interested in repetitive business! I could not believe it when I heard it. This is not over. All Social Media and Better Business Bureau must know about this fishy Car Rental I am writing this, because I care about You as a customer, your Safety and to be aware to this company. I loved the friendly staff here when I was booking with them. Unfortunately something changed when I did more research on this company and the other names of this same company. I cancelled the reservation weeks before but they were very rude and unprofessionals. Now I’m stuck with the bill and the owner refuse to refund me. I recommend this company only if you pay with a credit card and only deposit less than 100$, and take a video of the car. Thanks

My sister was using this company for her wedding, and the DAY OF the wedding they call us in the morning to let us know the party bus we rented was in an accident the day before and they would send us another companies limo. Come to find out they LIED to us about the accident, and instead last minute they wanted to service a larger party. NOT ONLY DID THEY CAUSE SUCH MAYHEM SINCE THEY LIMO COMPANY THEY SENT WAS HORRIBLE, THEY LIED AND STRESSED THE BRIDE ON HER WEDDING DAY! Dont waste your time and go somewhere else that actually cares about their clients. There are better places that will treat you right!

I have no idea how this place has a 4/5 rating on Google. During my wedding I requested 1 Limo and 1 Stretch bus for my event. They did arrive on time but both of the vehicles were falling apart. The limo had damage inside and seats were covered in towels due to repairs being required. The bus was probably from the 1980s and looked like it was in need of serious external care. Both vehicles were not washed and the drivers were not professional. When you shop around please make sure that you confirm what vehicle that you will be renting and do not deposit anything until the day of after the vehicle arrives if possible. A lot of limo companies are known to make false promises and rarely do they get held responsible for ruining the day. Please be smart and make sure to check on the vehicle even on the day of before the event if you do move forward with this company.

If I could give 0 stars I would the only reason I contacted this company was the great reviews but the experience I had this week with this company is unbelievable. First I called booked a car for my daughters prom in May the gentleman on the phone requested a $300 deposit I agreed he in turned stated he would send the contract over that day never received it. Next day I called again to receive the contract this time his system was down so no contract, waited another day called at 5 PM on March 12, 2019 requested the contract NO CONTRACT so I told him to cancel the car and refund my $300 at this point they are not reliable he then said the deposit was nonrefundable per the contract. WHAT CONTRACT remember I never received contract so we are going back and forth about this contract and my $300 so I end up disputing the charge with my credit card company but please please please be careful with this company. Just wanted to give people a heads up.

Gave a broken down limo; the AC was not working. It smelled really bad as if someone peed on the carpet. The chairs had holes everywhere, I couldn’t take a single picture. When I turned it down, they were almost violent. Now I can not get my refund back. The owner Samer Zahr was very helpful, he advice me to complain to the attorney general online and only takes 3 minutes. They only ask few questions to start an investigation. I appreciate the owner for his help but still can not get my refund.

My husband and myself returned the White Mercedes G wagon with red interior yesterday after a 3 day rental, We were sad to return the truck, our security deposit was returned immediately and the rental process itself was a breeze . Please do not do business with this place. Lenny and Sam are the biggest SCAM. This place is very unprofessional. You will not receive the cars and services that you’ll pay for. I put down payment 3 months ahead on a black Rolls Royce and white party bus for my brothers wedding. Then paid full amount before the wedding. They promised me everything is all set. Unfortunately, the day of the wedding we did NOT receive the black Rolls Royce and white party bus. Instead, we receive a dirty torn down bus and a dirty Bentley with no rims on. It was embarrassing! The chauffeurs even said “Lenny and Sam are liars and they did this plenty time to other people”. Do not believe their page on their website. They did not have any cars that were on their websites. All they have are party busses and black Rolls Royce that does not even run. The black Rolls Royce is just for show for business. Lenny is the biggest liar. We booked this place for homecoming. Samer Zahr the owner was very friendly when we were booking. After we returned the cars, we get a bill for stuff we never did. I attended a wedding recently who contracted this company to provide a party bus on their big day for a large wedding party. On the wedding day Detroit Luxury Car Rental claimed the party bus was in accident the night before and would no longer be able to provide said bus, but to remedy the situation they would provide a limo. To everyones dismay, the limo arrived and was not cleaned from the previous party and it was not large enough to accommodate the entire party either. On top of that, the quality of the limo was atrocious. It was clearly on its last legs with a nearly flat tire and loud exhaust leak; hardly Luxury.We found out after the wedding that the party bus originally booked was not in accident after all, but in fact was assigned to a larger party last minute to turn a bigger profit.TL;DRWe ended up having to car pool in personal vehicles to the reception due to Detroit Luxury Car Rentals negligence. This company should be avoided.

We booked Detroit Luxury Car Rental for a party bus rental for our wedding on Sept 7. They (along with Party Bus Oakland County, Limousine Inc and AA Ultimate Prestige Transportation) utilize a partnership to scam customers for any party bus/limo needs. The morning of the wedding, we receive a call that the party bus was involved in an accident the night before and thus we would not be able to have a party bus for our wedding. We found out later that the party bus was never in an accident, but instead Detroit Luxury Car Rental cancelled on us last minute so they could service a larger party to make a bigger profit.Avoid these greedy crooks and scam artists for any transportation needs!Sidenote: Im going through various 5-star reviews and most of the users are fake so the owner can boost the companys declining reputation. I marked as many as I could as spam to have them removed.

This place has horrible business practices. This place left my little sister stranded at prom. The driver dropped my sister off at prom and gave her his number to call him when shes ready. Which she called the number when she was ready and the driver answered the phone with multiple people laughing in the background like he had his own party going on. And repeated to my sister that he was an hour and a half away and hell call her back. So 30 min later he called back and told he hell send a Range Rover to pick her up. A Range Rover does not compare to a Rolls Royce Phantom. So it took them an hour and a half to pick my sister up in a vehicle that my mom did not order. My mom (Marsha) paid almost $2000.00 for 7 hours with a Rolls Royce Phantom. So the total time with the Rolls Royce Phantom was 3 hours. So Lenny offered a $200.00 refund for this horrible business transaction. So what it boils down too is this is a scam business that takes advantage of prom season. And will be sued for this injustice!!!

This company was used to service a wedding party. They reserved a party bus but on the morning of the wedding DLCR came up with an excuse stating their party bus could not make the event and would send a limo instead. They sent a run down limo that could not hold the full wedding party and the limo was not cleaned as there was trash from a previous party remaining in the cabin. The driver also decided to leave the wedding party stranded miles away from the reception location leaving them to figure out a way to get there. Later we find out the rental service used the reserved party bus to service a larger party instead. This place is unreliable and undeserving.

This place is the biggest scam. Lenny is a thief that takes your money and changes the quote on you the next day and tells you to take your loss because you’re not getting your money back. They ignore all phone calls. They send you to other people who don’t even affiliate with the company. I’ve heard from many people that they received the wrong cars on the date they drop off the car. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS DONT GET SCREWED OVER.

On Wednesday I rented a 2018 Maserati Ghibli for my daughters prom. The vehicle we agreed to was supposed to be a white Ghibli but, the white one was having mechanical issues the day before prom. So I received a call from Lenny with the news and an alternative Ghibli in black. I picked up the vehicle, it was clean and ready. My daughter loved the vehicle and her prom send off was a success. Due to the inconvenience Lenny offered to make it up to us for her graduation on this upcoming Sunday. Thank you Sam, Lenny and the Detroit Luxury Car Rental Staff.

I booked my daughter the Rolls Royce Phantom for prom for close to 2 grand thats including giving the driver 140.00 cash for his time thats 20 dollars a hour so the driver arrives at 5:30pm I ask him where was the balloons and the othe item that was the PROM PACKAGE that LENNY PROMISED the driver then checked the trunk of the car and said he didnt know ok I let that slide and the fact the driver wasnt wearing a suit! so my daughter was dropped off at the Prom literally dropped off but before the driver leave he tells her to call him whe she ready mind you I PAID FOR HIS TIME!!! so when she was ready to go she called he answers the phone laughing it up with people in back ground told her oh Im a hour and half out so my daughter was stranded at her Prom she calls me I was so upset how could you do this to someone! so I call the driver and tell him how wrong this is and he states she said she was not going to be ready for a while and after I said you was suppose to stay at the location I paid for your time then he say oh the car was running hot had to take it to the shop then stated I can come back with Rolls Royce later what makes no sense you said it was running hot really LIar!! then offers to have a Range Rover pick her up which I told him I didnt pay for a Range Rover (SUV) well that didnt matter because Range Rover did indeed pick her up hour after she was ready yes daughter STRANDED for a hour all other Kids with cars and driver they drivers stay at the prom in desinated area for them so I got total of 3 hour with the Rolls Royce thats half the JOB I ask Lenny for half my money back he offer me 200.00 dollars!!! no way thats a insult you put my child in danger cheated me and ruined her prom!! BAD PEOPLE!!

Just searching around, havent used them and I dont plan to.. you get 1 star for having the most unprofessional owner responses that I have come across on Google and obviously not doing anything to change a problem many have had from what I read. No thanks your not worth my time and frustrations. Also I have never left a star for a company I have never used. So congrats owner.

Set up a prom package from my son and his date Car was nice they offered red carpet and the driver was friendly couldn’t ask for more They even gave me additional hours and told me to just go ahead and tip the driver

The package I got for the Bentley and party bus for my wedding was genius and I saved a lot compared to if I had asked for them separate, the night was unforgettable. Ill for sure be back :)
