I dont know what happened but my son took my car in for an oil change. Just a month later one piston froze and mechanic said there was very little oil and caused it to happen. There is no evidence of an oil leak (no oil in parking space etc). N oo w our only car will need new engine which cant afford. Its as if they forgot to put the oil in!!

All I can say is OUTSTANDING service. I was traveling for work and my tire pressure indicator came on while I was on the highway. I called Monro and they told me I could come right away. As soon as I got there, they inspected and fixed the tire -- I was back on the road within 20 minutes and able to safely to continue to my destination with complete peace of mind.

Although they were polite and respectful here. I am Disappointed with the service I received. I called prior to my appointment to ask if they check fluid levels during a routine oil change, the man I spoke to said yes. A week after my appointment we were under the hood to change a headlight and noticed my coolant was almost bone dry. I wasn’t made aware of this at my appointment. It just leads me to believe they didn’t do what they said they did.

The staff at Monro is always courteous and super patient in explaining what my car needs. I find that overall prices are fair and I never have to worry about the job done-it’s efficient. I especially like having a warranty on labor. I also get the oil changes done on my cars here.

I had brought my car to another Monro shops to fix my CAT, and o2 sensors. Unfortunately about a week after the install the o2 failed. When I returned to get it fixed I was turned away because the shop was very overwhelmed and understaffed. I brought my car to southbridge Monro, the manager and staff were unreal with accommodation. They took my car in and fixed the mistakes free in the same day. I’ll be bringing my business to those guys from now on. 👍🏼

I recently had a screw in my tire and made an appointment on line for the next day. I dropped my car off and a few hours later it was done. They were able to patch it up for a very reasonable price. They took every precaution during this time as well. I would 100% recommend this place!

I have only done tires and oil changes, but always good and they keep you informed. No pressure sales. Today I am in for an alignment and fresh oil. In at time agreed on and out with no hitch. Good attitude. I recommend this shop.

I can not say enough wonderful things about the amazing crew at Monro. I went in last Friday for what i thought would be a simple tire change come to find out my struts where blown and leaking ( not being very car literate Rich explained everything to me in a way i could understand, which i was extremely grateful for). They gave me above and beyond service and worked with me to make sure I was comfortable with the new price cost as well. Do not recommend. Asked them to just switch my snow tires to all season. Told it would be $100. After it was finished they charged me $200 and said because they also did a wheel alignment. So charged an extra $100 for something I never asked for. Don’t go there unless you want to be overcharged

Knocked the bottom plastic plate on my car so that it was hanging. Wasnt sure if this was serious or not but didnt want to drive not knowing. Took it in today (June 5, 2020) and even though they were super busy, they took me in if I was willing to wait. I sure was and glad I did. Chad took care of it (the bracket broke and the plate needed to be removed) and explained to me that it wasnt a big deal and answered my questions. They took good care of me and didnt charge me for the time. I really appreciate the great service!

Excellent service and really friendly staff. I was driving in from out of town for a really important wedding appointment and popped a flat tire. Visited store on 6/11, was quickly and accurately quoted a price for my front brakes, the manager Richard Plante was excellent in his customer service and was very quick with the service!! Today would of been a day from hell if it wasn’t for Jason & Chad. Thank you guys so much for being so patient with me while trying to get payment from Carvana for my brakes and rotors. In the end I ended up having to pay for the work myself but you guys took your time to make sure it was done right & I will definitely recommend you to everyone I know. Over 7 hours of my day gone because of Carvana but it was worth it in the end thanks to these guys.Don’t ever buy a car from Carvana and expect them to keep their promise to fix what goes wrong but definitely come here and ask for Jason & Chad because they are awesome & thanks again guys for the best customer service I received all day. A couple years ago, I went to Herb Chambers Toyota in Auburn to get my inspection sticker. I was informed I didnt pass inspection because my 2012 Toyota Rav 4 had an exhaust leak. They said, for them to replacement it would cost thousands, so they recommended a small Worcester company. Instead, I went to Munro in Southbridge to get an estimate. These guys put my Toyota Rav 4 on the lift THREE times and couldnt find a thing wrong with it, and they didnt charge me either. I left there and got my inspection - no problem. Since then, Ive been a loyal customer and will continue to be a loyal customer because, like I told them just yesterday, they are consistently great. Theyre honest, respectful, and they are truly a great team. I highly recommend!

I have brought 2 vehicles to Monros for oil changes. Unlike other places, they will not try to upsell you or get you to buy items that you dont need. Theyll tell you if anything is actually wrong with your vehicle, but they wont try to guilt you into getting unnecessary services like other shops. Definitely a great place for a low cost oil change.

My elderly mother went in for an oil change an when it was on the lift management proceeded to tell her she really needed tires an it was unsafe....well not knowing that 3 months earlier her son (me) had had a new set installed for her!.....thier actions were disgusting beyond words !!!

70$ for an oil change. Synthetic, 1 step up from basic. Wow! I have never been charged that anywhere before. $45 at the dealership.I called customer service twice. They said email me a quote for what you usually pay with same service and we’ll price match it.. guess what, they said they never got my email. Bs.... you have been warned. Do not go here, ever!

My exhaust is original and 18+ years old - so when I developed a loud leak, I was bracing for some major work. Showed me where the leak was, focused on the issue and did not oversell or advise any additional work. Having said that, I was pleasantly surprised at the LOW cost. Your hours puts you ahead of others when it is convenient for customers and not just employees and owners. That is how you succeed. To this day - a few weeks later, still runs quiet. Thanks

I had an appointment today for a change of tires, an alignment and an oil change. They were not overbooked and began working on my car right away. We were just passing through town for one night on our way home from vacation. We realized we needed emergency brake service before continuing on our long trip home. I called a few local mechanics, but since it was 4PM on a Saturday, nobody was open. I finally called Monro, and Rob was so kind to get us in last minute. He said, “Come right on in—I wouldn’t want you to let that go, I’m not going to leave you hanging with bad brakes.” He took care of everything, and we were so thankful to be able to get it taken care of quickly and not be stranded. I ended up with a flat tire while on rt 84 and this place was able to quickly patch up the tire and swap it out with the donut so I could continue my drive. They were super nice, explained the reasoning behind everything, and had it done very quickly. This was actually some of the best customer service I have experienced!

I was a customer of Monroe for years, actually since the day they opened. I always received great friendly service. A little over a year ago there was a new manager who had taken over. I went in for an oil change on my new car, and the manager asked me what grade oil. I told him that I didnt know, and he laughed at me. So I refused to go there again. Today I decided that I would give them another try because I needed brakes. There is a new manager in charge Rich. I definitely will resume my business there. Not only was he very informative, professional and friendly, but unlike the previous manager he didnt make me feel like an ass. I also noticed that it is a lot cleaner in the waiting area which tells me that he takes great pride in his business. I suggest to anyone that had a bad experience in the past year or so to give them another try. Thank you Rich for great service

I was very satisfied with the work and professionalism of the employees. The reason I only gave it three stars is because when I walked in I thought I was getting a 15.99 oil change I know some vehicles are a little bit more expensive than other so I figured it wouldnt go more than $30 but when all said and done they charged me $62.72 they automatically put the high-end synthetic oil that they had because thats what the dealer recommends and I was not told this when they did the paperwork when I first got there I didnt learn the price until the guy did the oil change drove it out and charge me if I knew the price beforehand I would have went either somewhere else or went to a lower oil to bring it to about $30 the only problem I have is the fact that they didnt tell me the price before they did the oil change theyre just lucky I had the money on me at the time

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I would give them 6 stars if I could. We were on vacation from Kentucky and they were the only place open on Sunday. We didnt have an appointment but they slowly worked on our car we they could. They didnt charge us an outrage amount to fix it either. They were very helpful and friendly not only to me but to everyone else too. Thank you to the staff for your help to an out of towner.

I had a flat tire and I was having trouble changing it for my spare. Rob stopped by on his way to work to change it for me so that I could get my daughter to daycare and myself to work. He was helpful, explained things to me, and even told me about other things I might need to do in the future. It speaks to Monro that they have such helpful, good-hearted people working there. Had a problem with my rear tire/brakes while driving to my vacation destination. I was greeted right away and they were able to take my car for a ride and get it into a bay within minutes. I wanted to write this review as soon as I got home. Today I came out of work and had a flat tire. After changing it and putting on the spare I stopped at Monro to see if they could take a look at it. This happened on a Friday at 5:15PM and they close at 6PM. Rob the manager and the young man working in the garage looked at my spare and found that it was way beyond repair. After looking at the other three tires on my Jeep they determined it was only a matter of time that they started to go. I asked Rob if he could give me a quote not thinking there was anyway he could do the work at that moment. Well he gave me a quote which was really reasonable and told me he could have the work done in about an hour. No lie an hour later four new tires on my Jeep and I was on my way home. Monro Muffler you are really luck to have Rob and this young man as part of your team. These two made my day after a horrible week only ending it to coming out to a flat tire. Cant thank Rob enough for today. By far the best service I have every had with a garage/mechanic. Defiantly will be going back for maintenance on my Jeep. You have earned a customer for life!

Recently one of my tires was slowly losing air, but I could not figure out from where. With it being a Sunday, my options for having my tire fixed were slim. I looked around on the internet and this store had the best reviews. Since I live almost an hour away, I called first before driving out. The gentleman, Rob, who answered the phone was very professional. He said that they were booked up, but said he would look at my tire when he could if I brought it in.When I got to the garage, Rob greeted me. A short while later he was able to look at my tire. He was very thorough and professional. He asked where my wheel lock key was and took it out and put it back, as if nobody ever disturbed my glove compartment. My tire had a tiny pin size hole in it that he was able to locate. I must say that Rob explored every possible scenario with my tire and ultimately found the tiniest of tiniest holes.Every customer that came in while I was waiting, Rob was courteous and a treated them with respect. He was honest, not pushy and informative. The waiting area was clean and even had a nice clean bathroom.I am so glad that others posted about their positive experiences here. I couldnt have been happier with the service that I received. In fact, I was so happy that I went home and told all of my family members about my experience.Thank you to Rob and I wholeheartedly recommend this Monro station for service.
