Man, am I glad I found this place. Awesome people, great cut and great vibe. Highly recommend. The lovely Diane cut my hair and she’s fantastic.I got lucky this morning but you should make an appointment, they’re rightfully very busy.

Been looking for a barber shop since moving out to Los Angeles over 2 years ago... Well the wait is over! This spot has great atmosphere, great barbers, and an amazing waiting area. Very comfortable. I got a haircut, beard trim, hot towel, and shave. Recommend this spot highly!

Robert L. / Frescobar is the man! Been going to this dude for months already since West Covina and he never disappoints! Consistency is key when it comes to being a barber and he defines that trait as a barber. His work keeps impressing me more and more every time! He’s a must go to! Don’t sleep on him!

Ronnie is the man. Great vibe. Great place to make friends. As someone who has loved in highland park/so. Pas. his entire life and tried every price point of barber, this is the place. Can’t vouch for anyone else.

Since Square Deal has such a fancy looking place, I was very much expecting a top quality professional hair cut. 2 days later, when I was already out of town, I noticed the left side of my head had been very unevenly cut. See photos. I should not have readily trusted this barber and should have quality checked the results of his cut. Disappointing, as I will now have to get his corrected. There are plenty of barbers around that can do a way better job at a fraction of what Square Deal is charging. Therefore I would NOT recommend this barber shop to anyone.

I’ve passed by this place so many times before but today was the first time that I set foot in the shop. Diane took care of my dad and she did an amazing job. She is the sweetest as anyone can be and was very gentle with my dad. Their space is super clean and spacious. They even have a cool patio area in the back! I’d highly recommend trying them if you’re in search of a barber.

Great south pasadena barber shop on mission street with friendly and well trained staff. Locally owned and operated by same family for over 30 years. Great spot to stop in for a cut. Kids cuts are $20 and there is lollipops for impatient kids a sitting area out back with umbrellas and a tv while you wait.
