Ive been coming to this barber shop for over a year now and its high time I wrote a great review! Ive had my hair cut by both Mike and Fletcher and both of them are extremely talented. In my opinion the key to a good haircut is consistency. I used to go to some franchise places and it was always a different person and always a different cut. Here I get a high quality haircut every single time!

Called them up in the morning, and Shane got both myself and my 3 year old son in immediately. Very friendly guy and really good at what he does. Small little studio, but plans on expanding and adding a few more chairs. Chairs are very comfortable, and he even has free soda for people waiting. He was very good with my 3 year old and trimmed him up very nicely as well. He is getting busier so he may switch to appointment only. Prices are very reasonable for the skill these guys have - $20 for Mens and $18 for children I believe. Ill be going back again! No more Sport Clips!!

I came in on a Friday night and they were booked and the next available time was 5:30pm on Saturday. I came back to see Fletcher. He did a great job and took pride in his work. I used to go to Rays and the bureau in downtown Salt lake City. Both are great barber shops and do a fantastic job. I would rank Wasatch up there with those shops. He does a great job with fades and has the skills of a veteran. Definitely give them a try for a great cut.

First time I went was great. Second time I tried to contact via Yelp. There was no reply so I tried to do a walk-in. After explaining that to the barber he told me there were no openings in a bit of a condescending way. Thats fine, I get it, its a small shop. No problem. On my way out I heard him speaking to his client about how theres a thing called a phone, implying I should have called. At least wait until your potential clients are out of earshot before you mock them.

Really good service for a very reasonable price. Its right around the corner from my house and I used to drive all the way downtown to get my haircut. Definitely an improvement on commute with similar quality of cut. Probably want to make an appointment to be safe. I usually go on Fridays and they are pretty busy with only 2 seats.

Decided to try out Wasatch Barber today instead of going to one of the chain haircut salons like I usually do. I will not be going back to the chains. Shane did a great job. He has a very nice little shop; I especially liked the old school barber chairs. Great haircut, great conversation, great atmosphere. Shane cares about doing a good job, has great customer service and I will be going back. I highly recommend giving it a try.

These guys love what they do and its reflected in the quality of service they provide. Make sure you book, they seem to be pretty busy.Ive had Fletcher take care of my hair for years now and could not be happier. He still looks at my mop as I walk in to see what he can do to make the cut look good as long as possible,

Hands down the best haircut and service I have ever had. Shane is a barber and owner of Wasatch Barber, he was able to get me in right away and cut my hair. He not only did an outstanding job but actually took time to teach and educate me quite thoroughly on proper care for my type of hair and beard. Lucheo is also one of the barbers and does an outstanding job as well. I have gone to other barber shops, but these guys are friendly and go above any other I have been to. Theyre great I highly recommend them.

My boyfriend had basically an afro on top of his head. We really needed to find someone we could trust and do a good job. We found Wasatch Barber Company and I cannot express my gratitude to Shane! He was so very pleasant and did a great job. Him and Brent were really caring and had a lot of great advice on beauty tips. This is most definitely my boyfriends new go to place!

Crazy day, first time at this place and I went in and one of their barbers had had to leave early for the day and left Fletcher to run the shop, he was busy with another client so I scheduled a time later in the day to come in. Came in later and there’d been a scheduling conflict and I’d been scheduled at the same time as another client. Fletcher apologized and I told him not to worry and I’d come back in an hour (fine by me, gave me time to make a good lunch). Came in at 3:30 and Fletcher greeted me and we got right to work, gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve had in years and kept a great conversation going throughout the cut. He even gave me a discount at the end of the cut for my trouble which I paid right back for a tip. This place is THAT good, old time barbershop feel and I couldn’t be happier. I’ll be back soon!

Was pleased to see Fletcher in a new environment, great shop with excellent service. My son and I have been getting our haircut by him for the past year or more. I recommend calling for an apt as they only have two chairs. You wont be disappointed with the service or the price!

Awesome cuts, great atmosphere, and very detail-oriented and knowledgeable barbers who know exactly what theyre doing. Shane did a great cut, and is totally willing to accommodate whatever you need, both style-wise and time-wise. Took time to do a quality job and to explain what he was doing and what it meant as far as style and care for my hair. Absolutely great.

Friendly and quality service with reasonable prices. I got a hair cut and beard trim on my last visit. They also gave me a neck shave with a straight razor and a shampoo wash, both of which were complementary. This location has 2 chairs and I definitely recommend getting an appointment.I called to ask if an appointment was required and the answer was that walk-in is fine. But I ended up having to wait about 30-40mins since a few customers with appointments came in. I was not too unhappy since the service made up for it, but Ill definitely get an appointment next time.Took 1 star off for appointment and since I also felt that the room itself was a couple of feet too small for the 2 chairs.

Got a hair cut and beard trim and was pleased with results. Very intimate setting, only two chairs that face each other. I would come back again for another cut and trim.

Finally visited after getting all sorts of hair cuts from the haircut mills and from hearing the many great recommendations. Fletcher walk me through his process and I showed him what I wanted. We made a plan for what my hair will look like and where I want my hair to be. Really refreshing to have someone who loves and respects his craft.

Ive had everyone who works there cut my hair and they all are great. Ive always been able to get in the same day if I call before 9 AM.

Went in a couple of times and my hair needed to get fixed up bad. Brent was able to turn my hair from a bleached orange mess into a perfect platinum blonde color with a perfect taper fade cut. If youre looking for a place to clean you up this is it!

$20 gets you a great haircut, a wash, and a shave in a traditional barbershop with experienced barbers and good conversation. Highly recommend calling ahead, as the wait can be long.

Im really disheartened to have to write this review. First, a bit of background.I walked in for my first cut about 8 months ago. It was a relatively busy Thursday evening and I had no appointment, but Cody worked me in and gave me a fantastic cut that was exactly what I wanted. My next couple of cuts were from Brent, who was also very good and I had no issues with, but I liked Codys a bit better.Last month I scheduled an appointment with Cody for the following day to get trimmed up before my brothers wedding. When I arrived, Fletcher was the only barber working. He told me that Cody wasnt coming in that day and had tried to contact me to let me know. I never received that phone call, otherwise I wouldnt have made the drive from Tooele to South Jordan for my appointment. Nonetheless, since I was there, Fletcher offered to cut my hair instead. I showed him two pictures of what I wanted (just a nice, classic side part) and it came out alright. I wasnt 100% thrilled with it there in the shop, but later that week it styled up nicely and it was fine.This week I scheduled another appointment with Fletcher for Wednesday to get trimmed up before a first date. It was a very bad experience to say the least. I showed him the same two pictures of what I wanted (just a trim on my nice, classic side part), but he seemed distracted by something and wasnt really paying attention. He then started asking me questions about an event that I had never heard of, clearly confusing me for someone else. After stating that I had no recollection of this event, he kept asking questions about it as though he didnt believe me.He then grabbed his clippers, shaved halfway up the back of my head, and only then stops to ask it was a 2, right?. He continued on with the cut, turning me 90 degrees from the mirror so that I couldnt see what he was doing. He kept stating things over and over without really listening to any input on my part. It was all I could do to get him to stop long enough to listen when I wanted something specific done with the back of my head.He then finished up, shampooed my hair out, then started styling it. I thought it was odd that he was styling it the wrong way, then realized that he had put my part on the wrong side! Voicing this out loud, he assured me that he cuts hair very symmetrically and that it wouldnt be a problem. He then started styling it with my part on the correct side, but to my dismay I saw that the lower end of my side part was basically gone. I pointed this out, to which he immediately grabbed his clippers and shaved the rest of it off. He then shaved my neck with a very dull straight razor, leaving nicks and cuts.What was supposed to be a trim on my nice side part had turned into an aggressive undercut with no taper - not at all the look that I was going for, especially 2 days away from a first date. I expressed my disappointment and frustration, and he didnt charge me for the cut, but the damage was done. I waited a full day before posting this review to see if it got any better, but to my dismay it did not.My advice for potential customers - get cut by Cody or Brent. Both of them are great, and I particularly liked Codys cuts. If you have to get cut by Fletcher, make sure that youre very detailed in explaining what you want and that hes attentive when youre doing so.My advice for Fletcher - pay more attention to the guy sitting in your chair. If you think hes asking for something drastically different than what he already has, double check before you just dive in. You said yourself that I can always take more off, but I cant put it back on, but your approach seemed to be to cut first and ask questions later. Ultimately I care much less about your stories than how I feel in the morning when I look in the mirror, which in this case isnt great. I get that everyone has bad days, and most people on here seem to really like your service so maybe this was just a really bad fluke.tl;dr - Get cut by Cody or Brent.

Had my haircut there yesterday by Lucheo and it was the best service and atmosphere and it was nice to talk and get to know them, I highly suggest giving this place a try.

I walked and asked for a 2 on top with a bald fade he looked hesitant but went to work did a great job. Im typically pretty picky with my cut and where i go i am a black man lets be honest we all are pretty picky when it comes to getting cut up and who is behind the clippers doing it. Shane did a great job and a clean line up im feeling good about it thanks shane see you in a couple weeks.
