If you want to go to a barber shop and have the best conversations and walk out with all the confidence in the world Jessica has you covered. You never have to find another barber again if you start coming here.

The owner Mike and everyone else I’ve ever dealt with at Cutthroat have always been super helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming when sitting in their chairs. They have a strong passion for making sure the customer walks away satisfied and feeling good about themselves using their barbering talents. You don’t need to look anywhere else or go anywhere else for a barber with their locations spread around the valley to get a professional job done.

Took my 3 sons in for haircuts and was very happy. Cutthroat was able to get a 3 boys in at the same time so I didn’t have to wait. My oldest son needed a military haircut and they gave him the best one he’s had in 3 years. All 3 boys loved their haircuts! We will be coming back.

Not good haircuts at all. The haircut they give you is nowhere close to what you ask of them. Ive tried three different barbers, and the result was the same each time, despite specifying exactly what I want.

Ian is my go to Barber, It can be hard describing what kind of cut you are looking for especially when trying something new. It’s equally as hard to know if that cut will work. Ian made it easy to ask questions and he helped me figure out what to do with my hair. He knows his trade and is extremely skilled. Every time we come to cutthroat it is awesome they do amazing haircuts and always can squeeze us in last minute. We don’t even live close to this shop but drive down knowing we will get a great haircut. Chill atmosphere and decor.

Writing this review doesn’t even do justice to Cutthroat and all of the skilled Barbers that work there. I could tell you what you want to hear/read on a review while looking for a new barber but honestly they will show you more than I could ever tell you. Cutthroat for me is an environment that I don’t feel less than or in any way awkward and for me that’s huge. The first time I went to Cutthroat i got set up with Ian and hands down I couldn’t say a negative thing about him even if I wanted to. His attention to detail and professionalism is unmatched by far. From the second I sat in Ian’s chair and we started talking I knew right there I would be coming back. He’s not just a “barber”, he’s the epitome of what I perceive as the consummate professional barber. Honestly huge shout out to Ian and the entire Cutthroat Crew, you guys are awesome.

Mike and his team have always delivered top notch services. I’ve been coming to Mike since 2016 and eventually worked into doing his media. I’ve never been to a barbershop where I could expect the same results every time. With Cutthroat and Mike Canales I got exactly that. An enjoyable flawless haircut every time I went in. Which for a while there was every other week for 2 years, never missing a beat. Great fades. Fade masters

This place has done a good job in the past with my boyfriends hair but just know you are not a priority, athletes are. They canceled his appt as he got there when he traveled from Orem to West Valley due to a Jazz player needing a cut instesd and my boyfriend wasnt able to reschedule. Just FYI athletes with a money are a priority over you at this location. Granted theyre good, obviously cutting athletes hair, but not all customers are treated equally.

Ian gives the best hair cut! I used to just go to whatever great clips was the closest to me, but now I’ll be a permanent customer with this shop. It’s hard to get a cut like Ian gives, he puts in the time to make sure it is perfect and he has an amazing personality!

My hair used to be a disaster and had me feeling alone, insecure, and unlovable. I had a better shot at winning the lottery than I did at being able to pick up anyones number. I came here ready to end it all thinking Cutthroat meant something else. Luckily for me it turned out to just be a barbershop, and once Xavier got me out of his chair with a fresh new haircut and beard trim I felt like a whole new man. Like the Grinch discovering the meaning of Christmas, I learned the true meaning of self care and my contact list grew three sizes that night. Ill be coming to see Xavier at Cutthroat for life for the cuts and atmosphere.

I’ve been looking for a good beard barber for a while. Decided to try cutthroat and Teighlor did amazing. I love the atmosphere of the shop as well. Reminded me of being in a tattoo shop. Easy to relax and feel comfortable with like minded people. Definitely a 5 star experience.

I love this place! I keep bringing my nephew back there (he is 12) because they are so sweet with him and always listen to what he wants on every detail. I think he feels really cool being there too - the music and vibe is always upbeat and poppin’!

Cation ! They don’t enforce mask wearing policy. I saw employees removing masks in between clients and not making clients wear theres as I was sitting in my car waiting.

Teighlor did an amazing job and can really hold a conversation. I have a pretty difficult calic situation which most people butcher, however, Teighlor dominated them. Plus they have really unique chairs to sit on.

Had my first haircut there today. Cody did an exceptional job. I need a fairly conservative business cut for work. I wasnt sure they did those business type of cuts, as the place is much cooler than the typical national chain. But the haircut was fantastic. It looks like a $100 haircut at a great price. The attention to detail and getting it just right, instead of rushing me out the door, was a major difference over the chains (where every haircut is a gamble). And they took the time to make sure my dress shirt stayed clean and hair-free. I was super impressed. Old-school level service. Will be back!

My boys ages 14 and 11 got their haircuts for the first time at Cutthroat and they had an amazing experience! Walk in service was fast and convenient. The staff was very courtesy and professional. The shop is also very clean and has an awesome atmosphere. I could go on and on, but you should just go check it out for yourself :) My boys cant wait to go back!

Came in off a recommendation from a friend. The atmosphere is dope - clean shop, cool decor. Luis did an excellent job. He communicated throughout the haircut, gave recommendations based on my hair length and shape, and ended up with my new favorite cut. He knows his craft. We have tried so many places to get a good fade and finally found a place that does an amazing job at fades and designs! My son loves going here, he loves the cool designs on the wall. They always do an AMAZING job on my sons hair.

I recently moved to South Jordan and i was not sure where to go and get a haircut. I tried Sport clips and Supercut, needless to say i made a mistake and paid the price. Finally I was recommended Dillon at Cutthroat in SJ, and I was very impressed with how he styled my hair. I must say the only downfall on this awesome review is how long i had to wait for him, since he is walk-in only. I have gone back a few times now, and though he is worth of waiting, i really wished that I could book an appointment in advanced. Overall, i love the place, really nice and clean, and the venue is awesome. I would absolutely recommend it and recommend Dillons service.

Edit: Did give a two-star because I had a bad haircut that wasnt right and took too long. Switched to 5 star when Mike ( owner) made it right, he gave me a nice clean-cut and hooked it up. Quality cut in a great environment, these guys are passionate about haircuts and they treat their customers excellent, I highly recommend Cutthroat Barbershop!

Love to support this local company. I used to get my haircut at all the regular chain shops because they were close and cheap. I never knew what a good haircut was like until I went to cutthroat and @taper_taylor cut me. Since then I never go to the chain shops.

It’s a dope shop! Luis is my barber and he’s super cool and great at what he does. I can’t stress enough how important it is to me that the barber takes his time and gets it right and Luis did just that. The only con about this place is that it is tucked back a little bit which may limit the foot traffic but once you hit this place up you’re not going anywhere else. Thanks again guys!

Today was my first time hitting up Cutthroat, well... first time at a barbershop in general and now I can’t see myself going to any other place to get my haircut again. The shop was all decked out in graffiti art, great music playing and the barbers were all chill as hell. Mike the owner, was my barber and the dude knows what’s up! Best fade I’ve ever had and it’s so damn clean!

Ive been going to Cutthroat Barbershop for about 6 months now and Im not planning on changing anytime soon. Skylar is a highly skilled barber. He will educate you on things you didnt even know about your head shape, hairline, bone structure, etc....and on top of that he will also give you a crispy clean cut.
