Phenomenal haircut at a very affordable price. She was on-time, professional, and personable. Id highly recommend coming, Ill be returning soon. You do need to call in advance and make an appointment.

I had such a great experience here that Im going to pass her contact off to all of my coworkers. Its a great little setup out of her house, very professional and supports the right University (the U). Beth was almost OCD with my hair, ensuring it looked perfect. Got talking about our surplus of produce from our gardens and ended up walking out with some cucumbers, squash and tomatoes.Ive found my new barber shop.

This is the place for manly men when it comes time for a haircut. No sissy shampoos and blow drys here. Red always does an excellent job and is meticulous about her work. You should prepare yourself by having a good sense of humor and a collection of snappy comebacks before entering as Red will test you to see what youre made of. Beards, Dirty jokes and Motorcycle talk are always welcome here.

She is a talented, experienced barber who has given me truly very good haircuts and her pricing is extremely fair. But her professional behavior is sorely lacking at times, which has caused me to go elsewhere. It’s difficult to pay someone for their service who is clearly annoyed at your simple, standard request to take a little more off the top.

My father wanted to get a haircut and shave after his hospital stay. What a great job. Made him feel like a new man. She is a great barber.

Ive only been here twice,but both times me and my son had excellent service and good cuts. Price is more than fair and she was really quick so we didnt waste a ton of time, although if you wanted to it is the type of barber shop you can sit and talk shop for hours.

(updated with reviews for both barbers)I had been going to the BYU barbershop for years (full of mostly non-barbers) and then I couldnt find a place I trusted for the past couple of years until I found Reds Barber & Shave Shop. My haircuts have been great. Some other review mentioned the vibe--YES, the vibe is perfect. And the price is great, too; what I had been used to paying at the BYU barbershop. Havent had a shave there, but Ive asked about the price and its cheap compared to what youll find at most places. Talk or dont talk--shes friendly if you feel chatty and is cool if youd rather think or fall asleep in the chair. There is only the one barber--the owner--as of this review, and since she has a family, you should understand that on very rare occasions she wont be available when other businesses might be. Make an appointment to be safe; she often has openings but just as often is full. Also, its small so you can miss it if youre not familiar with the location; and the parking on the street is sometimes very limited.UPDATE: This review is not for the main barber, but for Danny--the recently added second chair. I went to him because Ive had my hair cut a number of times by the main barber (Elizabeth?). Anyway, shes great. Highly recommended. Danny is very good as well. I gave him my wedding photo as an example of what I wanted and he made it look almost exactly like it. His hands are a little shaky, but it didnt affect the end result (hes trying to quit smoking so I have to cut him some slack for the shaky hands).The price here is the best value Ive found in a 10 mile radius. Recommended!

Great haircut and service. After finding out about Reds a year ago, I havent been anywhere else. Red is not like your typical haircut chain store (i.e. Supercuts). She treats each customer with care and really knows what shes doing. I have never been displeased with her service.

For my 50th birthday, my gal decides to treat me to a nice shave and a bit of pampering. Found me a nice place online.....So I called (during buisness hours) 3 times to get the message to, please call again, this is for info only and we do not answer messages left.On a risk i just drove the 6 miles there.Walk in, look down the hallway to the kitchen and say hi, am acknowledged with, it will be a minute. OK, smile and have a seat...play with my phone for 10 minutes or so. HoohumThen my nephew then calls and wishes me happy bday....we talk for 12 minutes (yes i checked the call time). In the end we discuss how I will leave if not taken care of soon.No notice from the kitchen....she is still having her merry coversation with; girl friend? customer? does it matter?Facts are;I have never left a bad review before.I have never needed to leave a bad review before.I wish I could leave a ZERO star review!Hell, I generally dont even *itch about much.Reds, YOU BLEW IT
