They mainly cut men’s hair but they can cut women’s hair without specific style parameters. I’m allergic to nightshades, they were careful to make sure nothing I was allergic to was in what they were washing my hair with. after haircut while washing hair, there is a massage chair and they have hot towels for face; even without bearded parameters. one face towel while washing hair, one while conditioning hair. there is a scalp massage process which I’m sure was meant to be therapeutic (but I was having pain not related to the experience of my haircut; just like every time I go to the chiropractor I learn more ways to reduce pain) the whole haircut process was an experience. for me they cut around 15 inches off, removed a lot of knots, and kept it long enough to make a ponytail. just what I needed. I learned about different kinds of combs, and conditioner that helps reduce static. it was geographically the closest haircut place I found on a day my hair was again driving me nuts but this time, I did something about it. I was really impressed by the whole process & I would recommend sports clips to anybody.

Worst experience I had, they don’t line up on hairline, don’t line up on your beard very good, don’t line up your eyebrows. They definitely judge you there seriously, every time she’s asked what I wanted she started LAUGHING at me and it was definitely embarrassing. So yeah worst experience ever, and never going back never recommend anybody to go here. I paid $42 for a haircut that is worth only $15 at max, I can rate this a negative star I definitely would.

Pretty interesting experience, checked in online standard practice to walk in and finish checking in at the desk on the little laptop. NOPE not here, the stylist slapped the screen cover out of my hands and told me not to touch it. That set the rest of the tone, she cut my sons hair fine. But when paying I realized it was $6 more than I’ve ever paid for them to cut his hair before. When I asked why she said Jr Varsity is for 10 and under then said it was for 9 and under the very next sentence. My son is 11 and I was under the impression every other sports clips is 12 and under. They charged me $22 for my sons haircut not including the tip, no wash just cut. I called around and apparently all the other stores around charge between $15 - 17 for Jr Varsities 12 and under. There are literally 5 other salons within 10 min of this location don’t waste your time or money. I will never come back to this location again. I don’t remember the stylist name, younger Caucasian lady with sort dyed red hair.

I had a haircut from Ally, she was great. Upfront and honest about what was possible transitioning from a Mohawk into a more traditional cut. She took her time and made sure I was happy. I left very pleased with the results. Thanks Ally!

So appalled that we will not be going back to any Sport Clips ever. Latanya was incredibly rude, in no hurry at all, and short with us as we tried to request a trim for my son, demanding that I somehow define what lengths his hair should be for the trim (as if I know??? That’s YOUR job.) and insisting that a minor request to not have a hard part was not possible. She should be fired immediately for how she acted today.

South Jordan,, UT location. Oct 15th at 1pm. Yikes Scary.. Worst haircut Ive ever got was from this location. Better ask how much experience the girls have before you sit down. Thank God Im a guy and my hair grows pretty fast. But rest assured I wont be returning.

Sports clips has cut my hair for 10 years now and I have been going to this location for 2 1/2 years now. I have almost always had at least good cuts and often great cuts. I have almost always been treated with personable kindness, friendly and professional. My last experience was different. The stylist had zero connection with me while cutting my hair other than a few questions about how much to take off and if I wanted my side burns shorter. Shortly after taking my seat in the chair a previous customer walked in and they started a conversation with each other and it never stopped. She actually began her conversation with him by saying she was anxious to talk to him and As soon as I get this guy out of here we can catch up . She was so unfocused that she cut my hair way short around the ears which looked terrible. My suggestion is to make the most important person in the place, the one in your chair. Be personable and treat them the way you would want to be treated. Stay focused on providing the very best haircut, connect with your client provide the very best service, put your heart into it and actually ask them if they had a good experience when your finished. Its not rocket science you just have to care.

I showed up 20 mins before their listed closing time. There were no current customers getting a hair cut and there was no one else waiting.The exact thing they said to me while four employees stood and looked at me was that they had cut their last hair for the night.I pointed out I was there 20 mins before their closing time... then the woman, who had already begun to ignore me asked Excuse me!? I repeated that I was there 20 mins before closing and that I had come to them to prepare for a special family religious occasion. They didnt care.Absolutely the MOST unprofessional place Ive ever been. Absolutely embarassing for whoever owns this location. I hope they retrain.Now I get to try and do it myself. This place failed me as a customer and Ill NEVER be back.

I have been getting my haircut here for the last year and they do an awesome job. The wait is typically a little longer at this location due to costco being right next to it and the location doing a great job but it is worth the wait.

I had my haircut done by James today. He was polite, professional, friendly, and did a great job. He went above and beyond to make sure the work he was doing was what I wanted and even took the time to double check it after styling it.

Summer (The manager) is top notch. My 10 year old daughter absolutely adores her. Summer takes the time to make my daughter feel special and answers her million questions about her hair.My 9 year old son has requested to only get his hair cut by Kari. As he receives the same level of service.I have been going to this location for a while, and it only become better since Summer’s arrival. Best money I have ever spent getting my kids hair cut.

I’ve been a customer at this location for a few years now and I always get a perfect cut and leave feeling great! They know what they are doing here and it shows! Always a great experience from start to finish. Sometimes you have to wait a little long (it’s because they do a great job and get a lot of clients) but it’s always worth the wait. I love the new check in feature! It cuts down on the wait time a ton!!! I drive 30 minutes every month to this location because I know they will do a great job! You guys rock, thanks for always taking care of my hair like it was your own!

In the last 2 years, Ive only gone to Sports Clips for a hair cut. Ive never been disappointed, but Ive also never been thrilled. Thats probably because I say the same phrases every time I sit down in the chair. scissors, no clippers, not too high around the ears (No white walls, like the tires) or in the back, same length all over. Seems easy enough, right? James asks me if I want a guard, and I reiterate that I only wanted a scissor cut. To further drive that point home, I told him that it took me 34 years to realize that my ears stick out way less with a scissors cut, as its not nearly as short as it used to be when I was clippers only.Its also worth mentioning that I hadnt had my hair cut since before the pandemic, so I had wings on the side and full on spoiler/wave in the back shaped like a ramp. I added that I wasnt convinced I wanted to get rid of it, so lets just trim it up and clean it up a bit....Maybe even slight trim and then use the thinning shears. After he cuts the top and sides with scissors (a bit shorter than we discussed, but Im ok with that), he grabs the edge clippers and I assume hes going to use them to clean up my neck and define sideburns. I even moved the strap of my mask so it didnt block him. I was in a hurry to jump on a conf call and pick up my kids from school, so when he asked me if it looked ok, I said yup, thanks. I get to my car and realized he never turned the chair to let me see the back. As this thought popped into my head Im reaching my hand back to feel it.......and holy hell! The back of my neck/hair hasnt felt like a buzz cut in over 15 years! I couldnt wait to get home, so I could check it out with a mirror. It was way too high on both ears AND the back. The sides of the back were edged and so obviously uneven. You can see this because theres a tan line now that he went rogue and shaved off the outline I had grown to love. I look like Forrest Gump right after he was discharged from the military!I have never complained about any service in my 42 years on this planet and thats probably because I spent 26 of those years working in service. Ive never sent food back or asked for a refund. I simply move on knowing that Im done with that establishment. Its really simple, just pay attention to what the customer or client is asking for. You dont listen to the preferential request and then decide to do it your way.***I also think its absolutely insane that Sports Clips employees dont want to wash or rinse your hair BEFORE your haircut, even if youve had a hat on all day. youre never going to get it even that way. Every single barber, stylist, hair dresser I went to during the 17 years I lived in LA asked me if they could wash my hair before cutting it if I had a hat on.****Check-in process on the app doesnt work at all. Never has (at least not for me). My first review was a long one, but thats how frustrated I am after seeing the full scope of my Forrest Gump hair cut.

Lets talk about haircuts. I have tried all kinds of haircut salons/barbershops around the south side of the valley and it really doesnt matter which sports clips I go to. Most of the time I only have to wait a few minutes and the service is always on another level in comparison to cheaper places. BTW, my daughters love getting their haircut here too. Thanks for the amazing MVPs ladies.

The last 3 times I have been in here after scheduling appointments I have been made to wait at least 30 minutes passed the scheduled time.

Kind of messed up my lid a little bit. Sport Clips has slowly progressed into a fast-paced, in-out, competition between hairdressers. The culture is pungently grody. I go elsewhere now.

This place is amazing. I had Tracy as a stylist. She really listened to what I wanted and did a phenomenal job. They dont nickel and dime you like the other places do, charging extra for product or styling your hair. Its all included and for a very competitive price. I actually spent less here than I did at quick cuts but for a hair cut that wasnt rushed, far superior quality, amazing scalp massage during the shampoo. Big TVs all over. Friendly stylists. I love this place. Go check it out.

Went to get a haircut on Friday, and to get my beard trimmed. James helped me find a great look for my beard and just did a great job overall with the haircut, I would go back.

My husband loves getting his hair cut here. Its a little more money, but worth it for him to have some pampering. The staff is always great in the customer service department.

This particular Sports Clips in Harvest Village was an excellent experience! I believe my barber was Stacy...? Very awesome girl and her work is just as fantastic as her personality! I would definitely return here and I plan to for my touch up on my awesome new look! Felt very at home and I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family!

I had looked everywhere in my area to just do a simple cut for my daughters hair, but all salons and hair cutting places we called were booked for the day to take walk-ins. We called Sports Clips and they had an opening then realized it was a mens place. We called back and the staff were so nice and easy to talk to and were more than happy to book my daughter. I learned that they do cut womens hair after calling!My daughter had over 10 inches cut and they even shared with us on how to donate her hair to an organization and how to care for the hair til we send it! Also saved a ton of money! Highly recommend them for any haircuts whether men or women!

We have been getting haircuts at this location for over 4 years now. This location is our favorite. We commute 25 miles, four times a year, to get our haircuts. My son has really curly hair and the stylists at this location are very good at cutting his hair. I won’t take him anywhere else. My daughter lives in the area and she takes her kids there too.

Went in for a hair cut like I normally do at this location and got a hair stylist I had not seen before. She was sneezing constantly. I told her what I tell every stylist when I get my hair cut there. She was so busy constantly sneezing and wiping her nose on her arm that she was not paying attention and the next thing I know half of my head was shaved. She only made me pay five dollars for the cut which was nice. Still contemplating if a 5 dollar cut is worth having to wear a hat for the next month.

The poor girls were working as quickly as they could while keeping a cheerful demeanor. The haircut itself could have been a little better and the wait times were long. I didnt mind my 30 minute wait but the people checking in after me were up to 1.5 hours. Another employee or two would have made a difference.

I took my 11 year old son in for a haircut and Shelly did a fantastic job! She was very precise and thorough. It was honestly the best haircut he has ever had. We will be going there for all his future haircuts!

The stylists there nice and very helpful. Shelley cut my hair and conducted a conversation as she did her work. Apart from the lengthy wait, it was worth it! It be even better if appointments could be made. This way the stylist gets to know your hair.

Little pricy, but worth it! I am not easily satisfied with haircuts in SL and Utah county. They did a really good job, didn’t have left over hair stragglers itching my neck and the head massage was relaxing...

Totally screwed up my hair. Things were going smooth when she trimmed the sides, I told her 1/2 off the top. She began cutting at a 1/2 then out of no where cut like 3 inches off the back, and then totally destroyed my hair. I had a long top, short sides and she buzzed my hair way up the back. TOTALLY screwed up my hair and now Im going to have to get my haircut again to a very short cut to make sense of the wreckage she caused.
