I’ve been seeing Katlyn here a little over a year and she has made my hair happy again. And me! She cares about making me happy and remembers things going on in my life. The Salon itself is always clean and everyone is super friendly and helpful. Always on time and prices are presented before service is done. It’s my time to relax when I go there. Love it!!

After my facial with Olivia, my skin was literally glowing. And it wasn’t just that day. The next morning my skin was still glowing, soft, and the facial faded a bunch of the dark spots I had due to some recent hormonal breakouts. I also really appreciated how she didn’t try to sell me a bunch of products. She recommended one thing (with two different options) but didn’t try to do a hard sell.The facial itself was incredibly relaxing. None of the products were irritating or harsh, and Olivia was really attentive and knowledgeable. Overall I’m very pleased with my experience.

I started going to Katlyn at Aveda Salon in SJ a year ago and have loved her. She knows what I try to describe w my hair, and we make a plan/schedule w my cuts and colors. I have very thick hair and she has been awesome w my cuts so that my hair isn’t too heavy and I have lots of movement.Katlyn is professional and kind and consistent.I do pay more than what I have in the past for cuts and colors, but it has been worth it and I am very happy w the results.I also love their products.

Do not come to this salon if you have any type of wave or curl pattern. I came in for a haircut and asked for VERY LONG layers. I got extremely short layers (at least two inches shorter than my other hair) and the whole front section is 2-3 inches shorter than the back. The layers aren’t even at all and neither is the length. I came in again to have it fixed and they messed it up even more. Absolutely ridiculous.

HEAVEN!!!And last, JEN the manager will take care of you EVERY SINGLE TIME! She will make you feel so special and like your just coming to hang out! There is nothing or nowhere like this salon!!!

I went in to get a scalp treatment. I currently am going through breast cancer and cannot wash my own hair due to my recent double mastectomy. Sarah Woodbridge was my stylist. She was beyond kind and accommodating. At the end of my treatment and I went to pay. She told me it was on her. This brought tears to my eyes. I was in awe of the kindness of a stranger. She made me feel good and pretty for once in a long time. I couldn’t recommend a better person for hair. I will never forget her and what she did for me that day. Some may think it was just a simple act of kindness but it truly was an act of selfless love. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Life Avada is the only place Ill go. Not only do they pamper you, Ive never had a bad hair experience. They talk with you before starting to make sure they understand everything that you want and the end result is even better than what I ever could have imagined.

I was finally able to return for a massage on Saturday. Everything was safe and clean and Sagan made my return amazing. If you are worried about heading back in during Covid I understand; but they have really done an amazing job putting things together and keeping things safe. A big shout out to Mandy too!! Terrible is the word that I would describe this place as. From the front desk sign in, all the way to the poor hair care. I was under the assumption that when I came into this establishment that they knew how to cut hair, I was grossly misinformed. It is only now, that I realize how terrible this place truly is. If I have ANY advice for anyone thinking of coming here, it would be to turn away and run for the hills. Jenn, you are by far the worst manager I have come into contact with throughout my many years of being on this planet. You do not deserve to be in hair care.

I’ve been to this salon multiple times and had great 5 star experiences. When I called for an appointment in August, I discovered the stylist I had been seeing got a raise and her haircut had increased by $30. Good for her, but out of my price range. I asked for a reference and was scheduled with someone else. I asked for some layers, but emphasized that I wanted to make sure I had enough hair to put in a little pony tail because I wear hats a lot and it’s more comfortable to pull it back. She cut it way too short and I had a stub in the back, not able to put back. I was really upset and I’m giving 2 stars only because the front desk person was very kind as I tried to stop tears from falling. I did not get what I asked for and she said she was making a note and I would get a call from the manager to “make it right.” I reluctantly paid for the bad cut, and never heard back from a manager or anyone. Poor customer service, I won’t be going here again.

I love Aveda products. The service at this salon is very good. I get highlights and my hair cut with Esther and she always does an amazing job.

Poor customer service, poor hair styling, and the professionalism of this establishment is abysmal. This company does not take the time/care to train their employees. The management is pathetic to say the least, Jenn, in particular, is the worst asset to the company thus far. As a manager, you are the one that is suppose to fix the day to day issues, she does none of this. If I was the owner of this establishment, I would look into hiring someone new.

I saw Roberta for a facial and brow/lip wax, and then Kayla for a hair cut and style. All I can say is that I am SO grateful for them! I felt like I left with so much more understanding about my skin and hair and how to better take care of them. I learned so much about the products, which helped me a ton. Roberta and Kayla were soo kind, professional, knowledgeable, and did amazing work. I will definitely be coming to them again soon!

Had my fiancé come in for hair coloring and a cut and she’s been upset every day because of the terrible cut she received. The color of her hair is not the color she asked for and the cut looks like my 3 year old did it. I didn’t pay $315 for a toddler to cut her hair. She’s called every day to try and speak with the owner and the manager Jenn has just repeatedly lied to her saying she would contact her the following day with a response. 4 days of the same story, and now when she was told she would definitely receive an answer by Saturday, February 27th, we’re told that the manager Jenn has the day off. So she knowing lied to us to avoid handling the issue like a MANAGER should. I plan to call every single day until we speak to the ownerEDIT: They worked for two days fixing the mistake and apologized and even treated my fiancé very well when she came for the fix. I still don’t like this happened in the first place and the problems we had to go through just to get it right but in the end, everything came out well. Thank you

Life Aveda has a great treasure with their hair artist, Allison Fullmer! While I have not had the pleasure of visiting this Aveda salon, Allison was my treasure in Colorado. She is one of two women who have ever highlighted and cut my hair in over 20 years. This is the indication of how truly picky I am and how wonderful she is!

This is a great salon. I always have an exceptional experience and my hair looks great!. Katlyn does a fantastic job! The salon is very covid-concious and goes to great lengths to improve safety for the clients and for the staff. 5 stars!

Took my daughter in to get mini highlight (15 foils) and a haircut (1-2 inches off), so nothing fancy and it took 2 hours which is a really long time for what little they did.After looking at the receipt I see they charged me $80 for cutting her hair!! Also noticed a random $25 charge for a “color full-add”. She didn’t get a color done. Her hair is cute but I could have taken her to somewhere far less expensive.Update: I spoke to the salon manager and she said they charged me for an adult haircut and having a senior stylist costs more. My daughter is 11 so they are adjusting and refunding me for her haircut so it is the kids price. The time was due to it taking her more time to process and the color charge was for the toner. That makes sense. My suggestion: don’t book online, because the prices there are for their junior stylists and if you select that you don’t have a preference on the stylist they will book you with a more expensive one without telling you there will be a price difference. Just call them to book so you know the prices ahead of time.

Had my first facial this morning since everything was shut down due to Covid-19, everything was so clean and nice! Such a great experience. Jen did my facial and was very prompt to pick me up right when I walked in the door and take me immediately back to the facial room. She wore a mask and a clear plastic shield to keep us both safe. I felt completely safe and relaxed the whole time. The signature facial is my favorite! Can not wait to go back!!!

I enjoy coming to Aveda Salon, and always leave loving my hair. Aveda products are the best, and when I get my roots touched up, my hair is never dried out from them. Being a military spouse, and always moving around, I dread trying to find a new hair stylist. The waiting time and the whole process took far too long. My wife went to get her hair done and it turned out messed up. Then when she tried to get it worked out they werent helpful. In fact it was more like not taking responsibility and acting like maybe next time theyll do better.

One of the worst experiences I have come across when it comes to hair salons. Will not be returning and will be issuing for a FULL refund. Pathetic excuse for a establishment.

Great experience. I felt comfortable with the COVID precautions they were taking. Alison did a great job cutting and styling my curly hair, which I have learned from other haircut experiences is not always an easy task. She took time to find out what I wanted and helped me make decisions when I wasnt sure how to answer questions. I appreciated that she was friendly and easy to talk to but didnt push the conversation for an introvert like me. Highly recommend!

Well first off we gotta start with the awesome complimentary service that comes with any cut or color. You can really get relaxed and in the “treat yo self” mood. My stylist, Star, was awesome! The cut and color were exactly what I wanted and the service was perfect. I know that it’s hard to find the perfect person to do your hair, and it always feels like a big risk trying somewhere new, but this place will definitely be worth your while! The staff and ambience are awesome and everyone should give these stylists a try!!! 10/10 would recommend :)

The customer service is the best I’ve ever seen. The entire shop looked clean and organized. We were treated very well and the staff was very, very nice.

They have the best smelling Aveda hair products ever. Roberta does my hair and she is worth every penny. She took me from dark reddish brown to this lovely shade of blond in two sessions. I love how relaxing the environment is and how great I feel when I leave. Try there tea, it is to die for.

I love this place! This is my second experience getting my hair cut and colored here by Katlyn and I will keep coming back. She listens to me and did exactly what I wanted, even better. The coloring she did on my hair is beautiful. Also, they give you a hand/arm massage while your hair treatment is being done, which was SO relaxing. 100% recommend.

I had to drive three hours to get to my appointment and Paige is the girl who I wanted to do my hair. I had been in contact with her and she offered to come in her day off to accommodate me. She went the extra mile from getting me tea, spent extra long on my head massage, and my hand and arm massage. She was very thorough in explaining what she was doing and the product she was using on me which I appreciated because I am very particular with my hair. She completely exceeded my expectations and I left feeling lighter and more beautiful! I felt her prices were competitive but fair. Would HIGHLY recommend going and seeing Paige. She is young but very educated and knowledgeable in the industry. Again, would highly recommend visiting her, shell take care of you!

I have had really wonderful experiences with many of the people here. Sagen does an amazing job with massage — my favorite is her custom massage where she uses many different techniques to give your body the relaxation and healing that it needs. Roberta does a fabulous job with hair and is able to find the right look for your face shape, personality, and preferences.

I came into Aveda for the first time and had Kellie cut and color my hair. My hair was fairly damaged and multiple different lengths and colors. She did an amazing job transforming my hair into something I didn’t expect! She is friendly and very professional with her clients. I will return to her for my color touch up. Thank you Kellie for doing such a fantastic transformation!

I absolutely adore my hairstylist Tristan. She does an amazing job with undercuts, and I’m always more than happy with her job. She is always so happy, and has such an infectious smile. Tristan is so funny, and she’s definitely someone you should follow on Instagram. I’ve seen some of her other work, and I’m blown away by her colors, too!!The other thing I know for sure, is that she makes me feel beautiful when I come in, and gorgeous when I walk out. I am so grateful for my wonderful hairstylist.

There is something to be said when you have a less then perfect hair do and the manager goes out of her way to make it right. I sent a dear friend in to get her hair done. She was not an easy hair fix. When communicating with the Manager our concerns, she addressed them quickly and took care of my friend. My dear friend cant rave enough about her fix and the experience she had with the manager.

It was very professional, loved the message that came with it. But I went to have my hair colored, and the color was out in less than a month. So for me, it wasnt worth the price.

It has been a little over three months since I last got my hair done in Colorado. I recently moved to Utah and finding a salon and stylist was a huge must. And I couldn’t just find any stylist. I needed to find someone who could tame my Mohawk properly. I wanted to find someone who would understand and relate to an alternative hairstyle, especially since I’ve found it hard to come by. I found the perfect stylist at Life Aveda. Lauren is phenomenal! Having a hawk of her own, she knew exactly what needed to be done and what I wanted without much explanation on my end. I cannot put into words just how unbelievably happy I am with how my hair came out. Lauren definitely knows her stuff and it shows in the quality of work she produces. She has an amazing personality and made me feel comfortable right from the start. I cannot wait for my future services with Lauren! Highly highly recommend.

I’ve been going to this salon for over a year now and I’ve been really happy with it. I got passed around a couple of times with different girls, but I’ve been seeing Mackenzie for the last several times I’ve been and she’s great. Fun to talk to and has done a great job with my balayage!

Clean, professional, kind and welcoming

They kept messing up my appointments by their new trainees and constantly changing my appointment times without my approval. All the good stylists quit like Lauren and Trestin and they placed me with other stylists that didnt even have a clue on how to use the clippers. The last experience was the worst when a stylist named Kelly totally butchered my hair after I showed her a picture of the style I wanted. Theres hardly a manager on duty when theres an issue. I wont be going back there for sure.

I went into get a haircut and the girl I had was absolutely fantastic. There was never a moment of silence, only filled with laughter and fun jokes and smiles. I can’t wait to come back and get a deep conditioning. I would definitely recommend this place I was very happy with my service, the sweet girl who helped me as well as the price of my cut

Ive had two appointments with Katelyn so far and she does a great job. I just had her do balayage and Im really happy with how it turned out. All the other stylists have also been really friendly and the salon is nice as well.

There are hair stylists, and theres Roberta William’s shes a true master. I call her the “ Hair Whisperer” Ive been to many well known salons and Ive never had a better stylist. She can look at any picture you show her, analyze and She listens, airs on the side of caution and ensures I always leave with exactly what I have asked for. I dont think Ive written a review in years, but when someone is that amazing, you just have to pay it forward. Happy Hair color. I went at the beginning of July to get my hair colored. She over toned my hair making it pink. Once that faded it stayed yellow. I came back a few days ago to see if they could fix it. They noticed how yellow my hair was. They fixed my color, but totally destroyed my haircut. I look like I have a bowl cut over my actual haircut. I will not be returning to Aveda.

I *love* this place. My wife convinced me that I needed to go to a real salon to start getting my haircut and styled, and I couldnt be happier that Ive started coming here. I feel totally and completely pampered when I go there- and a large part of that is the fact that Christine *gets* me and my hair. Its gotten to the point that I just trust her with whatever cut and style she wants to do for me. She is awesome...ask for her and youll see what I mean. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

I absolutely love this salon! The overall environment is relaxing and inviting and the staff is friendly and knowledge, I even drive quite a ways to come here and its totally worth the extra commute. The real reason why I come to this salon though is Christine, she is an incredible stylist who truly knows her way around a haircut. Augustina is my girl! Hair magic AND genuine conversation with her- she has never done wrong! Im not just another client to her, she really cares and loves her clients and wants them to look their absolute best! I told her I had a hot date after my appointment, she did a complete makeover to make me feel special and ready!4 stars instead of 5 because if youre there in the afternoon, its blinding from the sun coming through the front windows and reflecting off the stylists mirrors. But Augustina absolutely deserves 10 stars!

She is passionate about her work and offers helpful suggestions and adapts to my fickle needs. The salon is a pampering environment. I also enjoy an occasional facial here as well.
