Adrian is the best! I drive out once a month from eagle mountain to have Adrian work his fade magic. Having my bald spot, I knew I needed a change in hair style about 9 months ago and Adrian hooked me up with his mastered craft in the fade and iv done the same ever since. I feel like he knew what would work best to give me a new look and work with the hair I have left. Also the his work with the straight razor ans getting my beard cleaned up has been amazing! I get great compliments and I truly enjoy coming in, catching up with him about life and his family as well as sports and just feeling like iv got a real friend in him at the shop. I started coming here about 4 years ago as my place of employment was nearby and after my first haircut here, I could feel the professionalism, the care, and the quality of the service they provide. Dilli and Adrian are some of the best barbers around and are always willing to arrange when I can come in and get our cut, and are always quick but with high quality. Adrian is my go to guy. Has been for 5 years now. I won’t let anyone else cut my hair. Adrian is very personable. Good guy all around, makes everyone feel welcome. Gives killer cuts and never misses a detail or rushes you in and out. Finishes off each cut with a straight razor lineup on the back of the neck and sides.I drive from Tooele to daybreak for my haircuts with Adrian. That’s over 2 hours round trip. It’s worth the trip. Don’t short yourself by settling for just any barbershop, give Adrian and Dave’s a try. You won’t regret it.

I have come here before in the past and it was great… but I thought I’d come in for a walk-in...two other people walked in without appointments after me and they were helped instantly while I sat there for about 50 minutes..when I walked in I wasn’t acknowledged and wasn’t as I left. Definitely won’t be back.

A little cramped, got good advice on my haircut and a good haircut. I think they upsold a service, not clear since they never mentioned a cost but the final bill was $35. I just needed a simple upkeep job. I can get it somewhere else for less than $21

May be an isolated experience. Im sure these guys are good usually. That being said I didnt have a good experience.I asked for a hair cut and beard trim.The hair cut was ok but very rushed the big problem was the beard trim.The problem the person cutting my hair 7/24/2021 at 12 pm to 1pm ish didnt ask me what I wanted with my beard she immediately went in to trim my beard without even asking me what I wanted. When I asked her what she was doing she gave me a weird reaction like I was the A hole or something not a pleasant experience. I felt like she wasnt willing to let me talk, she was super rushed, not a good vibe and it just was not good experience. Honestly Ive had better encounters/ hair cuts at great clips or sports clips.

The place was nice clean and friendly, Adrian Nava did a great haircut and nice back of the neck hot shaving cream shave.

Always come back here. Ive had 4 people cut my hair, and while they all are slightly different, Ive never felt like they gave me a bad cut.Dilli is phenomenal and is extremely attentive even if you are the last customer in the door (serious, hes the best barber Ive ever had and Im super picky). Hes trimmed my beard for free multiple times without even asking and I always try to tip him well. He definitely seems passionate about his profession and is a really cool dude.Ill continue to support this business. Dave is a great guy that hires talented people and keeps his shops clean.

This is a great barbershop. JB and Chase are great at cutting my marine corps high and tight. They make sure to get it skin on the sides just like I like it. I just moved to Utah a month ago and these guys are awesome. Everyone is really friendly inside the shop and they really show that they care about your happiness. I’m extremely picky about my cut and they never get bothered with me asking for a little more off. I highly recommend them if you want a great cut, in a great location, with great barbers, and a classy and comfortable atmosphere. Thanks guys.

I have been getting haircut at Dave Barber Shop at Daybreak location for more than a year, my barber is Adrian, he is amazing, patient and very skillful. I have been getting the undercut hairstyle and he has done great job. recently I decided to do something new, prior to arrival, I sent Adrian a YouTube video clip of the cut that I like, and once again he finished great job.Highly recommend, guys come give Adrian and the barbers here a try, you will not be disappointed.

First visit was great then slowly has gotten worse each visit for myself and my son. My first visit, meticulous and detailed. The barber really took his time. Nice guy. Now fast forward to the last visit 2 days ago. Two ladies in there practically rock, paper, scissored to see who would have to cut my hair, while another barber in the corner was cutting a guys hair. Not much conversation, 15 minutes later Im out of the chair before the guy that was there before me. The cut isnt horrible, but Ive felt more appreciated as a customer at great clips. And it feels like the price keeps climbing, that may just be a reaction to the worsening service. Wont go again.

This shop is incredible. Some people might be turned off by the fact they do not do appointments, but honestly for the quality of a cut you get any wait is worthwhile. Every barber there knows what they are doing and will take care of you. I have never not enjoyed my time at this store and have never been disappointed with the way I looked afterwards.

The guys at Daves Barber Shop (South Jordan) are the BEST!!! Luke is my Barber, i had only been in a couple times then i hadnt come in for over a month and he knew exactly how i wanted my hair and what my hair would do if he cut it the wrong way. (my hair is a bit temperamental) These guys will take care of you. JB even jumped in to assist for a bit there. The staff here will take care of you. I trust these guys with my hair.

Daves is my go-to place for getting a haircut. The Barbers there are excellent and well trained. They listen to you, but they also know what looks good. The atmosphere is great. The fact that they take walk-ins is wonderful. And just a general overall great place to go to feel that last vestige of manhood. Women are welcome there, but really, it feels much like a barbershop that your grandpa told you about going to just after the war. Come in for a great haircut. They do shaves as well. And the complimentary neck shave at the end is always worth it.

Dilli has been my barber for almost 4 years now. He is exceptional and I leave his chair very happy with my haircut every three weeks. He is an experienced barber for sure. Only trouble is everyone else loves him too but with COVID he takes appointments and that works great for me!

I finally had a chance to pop in and got a great haircut by Steven!The only thing that has bugged me (and the reason I hadn’t been in before) is they only take walk-ins. I’ve always preferred making appointments at barbershops as opposed to rolling the dice and potentially having to wait 30, 45, 60+ minutes. If I hadn’t been able to get right in within just a few minutes today, I would probably have just walked out and gone somewhere else.I love the quality, friendliness, atmosphere, and location. Just need appointments.

This would likely be about a 4 star place if not for Dilly. Hes been cutting my hair for years and youll likely wait a while to get your hair cut by him as most people request him. Most people here are talented but has a rotating door. Dilly is the man!!!

First time I went in to Dave’s I was greeted timely and professionally by Adrian one of the barbers there. As luck would turn out he was my barber for the day and I can honestly say Adrian’s the best barber to cut hair off my head, he was great for conversation, quick, and knee exactly what I wanted!

I’m writing this review directly following my first visit. This was far and away the absolute best haircut experience I’ve ever had. You might take that with a grain of salt because I’m a frequent customer at Great Clips, but that was my past. Great Clips was fine, but after one visit to Dave’s and specifically having Scott cut my hair, I’m converted. It was busy, but that didn’t stop Scott from spending extra time and attention on my haircut. He was devoted to ensuring it was a good experience for me and I can’t say how much I appreciate this experience.

Adrian was very professional and friendly as always, especially given the current situation. always impressed with quality and punctuality of his work and the environment in this shop. 10/10 !!

Dave’s is great the shop is always clean and the barbers know what they’re doing I would definitely recommend coming here cause honestly Adrian is the only barber that can line me up without taking my hairline back to the 70s

I’ve been coming to Dave’s for a year now, and I’ll never go anywhere else. Everyone is great at what they do and they take their time to perfect anything you are trying to achieve.Doug in particular is who I go to for the majority of my cuts and he is absolutely fantastic. He is funny, he gets to know you not just for the cut but because he cares. I’ve never had that with any barbers. He really takes his time to really achieve that perfect and clean cut every time. Every time I leave, I feel like a new man. Thank you.

I have yet to find a Barber shop as good as this. Ive never had a bad cut from any of the staff. Theres a reason this place is always hoppin busy. I only wish there was one closer to home in Davis county. We have nothing as good as this up there. Knowledgeable barbers, friendly atmosphere, clean locations. My only complaint is that its so busy and the wait is long - and yet there are empty Barber chairs. Maybe its hard to find good workers or something. Ive had to leave after a 45 minute wait on more than one occasion. Ive seen plenty of people walk out after a long wait too. Thats money walking away, you know that right?

Went here for a about a year, used to love it. Now I’ve had two bad haircuts in a row, they have hired new staff. The quality just isn’t there, may as well go to quick cuts.

These guys are awesome!! Both my sons have been and are always extremely happy with their hair cuts when done. They take great care in ensuring each customer receives exactly what they want, even when its a teen age boys requesting something a little out of their element. Highly recommend to any guy, you wont be disappointed.

These guys are top notch! Real professionals w/an old school atmosphere. I would recommend Dave appoint management at each of his locations. It’s frustrating to see such a great establishment suffer because of lack of direction & communication. These guys need a break as well & if it’s close to closing w/a full client base, it would be best to have some type of plan that’s understood & respected by all that they may/will close early. Dylan is by far one of the best barbers I have found in Utah. I moved here after having a barber in my hometown for over six years and Dylan is even better. Always so cheerful to be around and has a sharp eye for detail. Only barber I go to in Salt Lake City! 100% recommend everyone goes to see him.

Dont let the size of the shop fool you. If theres a line, wait in it. This is the best place to get a cut that you will find in the Salt Lake area. Doug is my barber and has been for 2 years. He earned my business from a shop that I had been going to for 6 years in just one haircut. Everybody in this shop is very knowledgeable and polite yet always seem to have a way to keep it light and fresh. I will never go anywhere else.

I brought my fiancé here today to have his hair cut and beard shaved after discovering that his barber of five years went out of business. Anna was kind, hilarious, very attentive to detail, and she made sure to take her time to make sure everything looked good. We’ll be back before we get our engagement photos done!

My barber Doug Is the best in town! I’ve been going to him for at least 3 years now. Since day 1 has always been super chill, very social, and remembers me on sight! So if you need a fresh cut ask for Doug!

Dropped in mid-day on a Saturday (around 1:30) to find a few folks hanging around waiting for their turn.Wait wasnt bad, maybe 30 min with all 4 barbers busy.Doug hooked me up and was great to talk with.Expect a cut to be ~$30 but they are detailed, quick, and just good guys. Worth the $$. Go make it happen.

Daves Barber shop is the only place that I will go these days to get my haircut. I had them cut my hair for my wedding photos. Dave himself at the fantastic job but the people he hires are also great. When you go there you know that theyre going to do a good job.

I live in the area, which makes this location extremely convenient. I love that they do walk-ins and I always just take whoever is available first and consistently get a great haircut no matter who cuts it here! I have fine hair and my go to is a skin fade which is not the easiest cut, but they always do a great job. Super laid back environment, no cheesy gimmicks. Keep it up fellas!

Always feel like a badass when I leave this place. These barbers are VERY good at their craft. I enjoy a nice haircut that lasts an hour vs. 10 minutes at other commercial haircut places. They take great care of their customers. Always happy when I leave. Been going here for over 2 years. Get here early on Saturdays as they book up fast, but well worth the wait!!!

Not a bad place, small and cozy and friendly staff. The first handful of times I came was good. Expensive of course, but this isn’t a sports clips. This is a barber shop. The only issue I have is they cannot deal with long hair. I decided to grow out my hair, and it was about to the base of my neck. I wanted to shave about an inch of the back and sides off, and the guy who did it did a terrible job. It was very un-even from my left ear to my right, it looked like a drunk was trying to draw a straight line. All I wanted was my sides shaved and they couldn’t even do that. If you have long hair, or medium-to long hair, don’t come here, go to a salon. A salon is going to cost more, but they know how to deal with long hair. Again, I know these guys don’t specialize in long hair, but they did a bad job, hence the 2 stars.

Went in without a reservation and they took great care of me. Great haircut! I showed them pictures of what I wanted and they not only gave me exactly what I wanted but explained how they would adjust the cut to get the right look for my head shape. The atmosphere was also great, all the barbers looked sharp and were very well groomed.

Took my three year old in for his first haircut last week and had Doug as his barber. I felt horrible because my son wasn’t thrilled about the experience, but Doug’s patience really helped out. He gave my son a candy cane and made jokes with me about his own son. Very personable guy and made this first experience a positively memorable one. Will definitely be returning. The barber who used to be great here has left. On my return visit Dave was the one to cut my hair.Dave really has no clue as to what customer service is and the haircut he gave me was terrible enough that my wife made me go somewhere else to get it fixed.Dave answers questions with insults and has an excuse for everything.Do yourself a favor and go somewhere better and cheaper.

These guys are great! Havent had a bad haircut. I go on Mondays and both of the guys there do an excellent job. They do a great job and give great recommendations if youre needing some ideas.

Never have l had a barber shop treat me the way this company did. My 2 boys and husband have been coming here for years. Today my 2 year old went to get his hair cut. He was sitting nicely but would wiggle. The man told me he couldn’t and wouldn’t do his hair. It was the most pathetic attempt for a haircut l have ever seen. We left with half my sons head shaved because the man cutting his hair wouldn’t do it. He wasn’t crying at all, just would wiggle. We use to love when Dave was here but recently it is just another barber shop chain. Such an awful experience today and l left in tears.Thanks Dave for the offer but we will not be returning. We have come to you since the beginning of you being around. We have sat and discussed marketing with you and have done nothing but support your business. Today was unacceptable. My son was not moving around enough to say it was dangerous. The barber was noticeably annoyed from the second we walked in. We have been coming to you ever 5-6 weeks for years now and for your barber to tell me I am just trying to keep your child safe, maybe you should do the same. was unacceptable. I want to make it clear that I fully understand you would not want to cut a child who is screaming and moving but my son was watching a show and would lift his shoulders when it went around his neck. We wish you the best and hope the barber we ran into today will have something said to him, me leaving in tears with a 1/2 shaved child was awful.

Ive had one great haircut and one of the worst haircuts of my adult life there. Id have given it a 3 star rating if that were the whole story, but unfortunately it isnt.The good: My first visit I had a very good haircut done in a timely manner by a very professional barber. Couldnt recommend it enough, so I was kind of excited for my second visit.The bad: My second visit I got a hair cut that was was bad but it wasnt apparent until I had washed it and tried to style it the next day. Upon styling it, I found out that the hair next to my part was about 1/4 of an inch long and the hair below it (above my ear and below my part) was over an an inch long. Due to my schedule, I wasnt able to go back in to get it fixed until a week later.The unforgivable: Upon returning to get my bad hair cut fixed, the only solution they offered was to sell me hair paste that had more hold so the short hair wouldnt be as noticeable. Even after explaining that it wasnt just the short hair but all of the hair below my part wasnt what Id asked for, I wasnt offered any solutions.While my first experience was very good, I cant recommend a company that doesnt stand by their work. At the very least, Id expect them to ask if they can cut my hair again to fix it or at least make it look normal. But I wasnt even offered that. To then offer to sell me a product instead of fixing my haircut, just seems dishonest.Id love to recommend them, but if this is how business is done, I simply cant.

Its a shame when youre let down by people youve had so much trust in, and have been a loyal customer to. I will NEVER, I repeat NEVER go back to Daves Barber Shop! Customer Service was top notch until recently (I think due to the owner not being as present). My expectation of customer service isnt what I would describe as shooting for the stars but rather good barbers, doing good work, being kind people. You fell short of that Daves Barber Shop. Sadly, youve lost a longtime customer.

These guys are great, give them a try and you wont be disappointed. Great atmosphere and shop. Ive been in a couple of times now for a hair cut and beard trimming and I couldnt have been happier with the results. I took my elementary aged brother with me this last trip and they did great with him as well. I wont be bothering to go anywhere else.
