Ive been going here for a decade, and I have nothing but Incredibly positive things to say. While Im sure all of the barbers are amazing, shout out to Joe; there is no one else who I would have had cut my hair a couple of years ago before my wedding. Even as the business has found more and more success, everyone who works here is so down to earth and just great people. And the new space in Cambridge is beautiful. Could not recommend this business more.

Razors Barbershops is by far the best barbershop in the whole Boston area! Anthony and the guys are the only shop Ive found since moving here that consistently give me a great cut. Ive been coming here for years and wish I had found them sooner. Professional, polite, always make you feel welcome and scheduling an appointment makes it easy with no wait time! I cannot recommend them enough, I usually book with Anthony but all the guys there know what theyre doing!

I’ve been going to Razors since 2012 and even though I moved away from somerville I still go back to Anthony whenever I need a Cut or want a close shave with a straight razor. I even hired Anthony to come up to NH for my wedding to give all my groomsmen, father and grandfather a shave on the big day. He’s got a complete mobile set up that we placed in my hotel living room. It was a great way to spend the morning and made a great thank you gift for my buddies.

Love Razors; you have to make an appointment, but that means youre not waiting, and its the best, most welcoming barbershop Ive ever found.

Couldn’t have asked for a better barbershop! I’ve been getting my haircut with Drew for 3 years and I’ve never been disappointed. I like that you can book online so that you always have the same person cutting your hair.

Got a beard trim and they did a terrible job. Was cut multiple times, took way too much off, no communicative, and generally they did not seem to know what they were doing. I suspect some of the people here are good and others aren’t but unless you have a recommendation for a specific person I strongly recommend you go elsewhere.

Great cuts and shave with great customer service. By appointment only which makes it easier instead of waiting hours for ppl ahead of you. Staff is friendly and will accommodate you very well. Definitely the best shop in the Somerville/Medford area.

Amazing experience from booking, waiting, and getting a quality haircut! The barbers are very friendly, detail-oriented, and accommodating with your preference and needs. As Im always indecisive with the haircut that I want to get, Mark patiently guided me through the options and demonstrated the cut by cutting a little piece of hair first so I could see how it would look.

Ive gotten my haircut here a couple of times during the pandemic and my barber (Mark?) is a friendly and professional barber who makes you feel welcome. He does a great job and gives you exactly what youre looking for. Safety protocols with hand sanitizer and masks are very carefully followed.

Way better than supercuts. They would answer any questions about your hair and how to maintain it. They are professionals. It would cost you 40$ for a shave and haircut, i.e 20$ more than supercuts but well worth it. Apprentice haircut is 15$ but is way better than any hair salon in Boston hands down. Thanks Mark for advice on growing my hair long.

Joe cut my hair excellently and incorporated all the notes I had, he was even able to cut my hair in such a way as to flatter my receding hairline which was a big plus! Amazing barbershop. Struggled for a year to find a reliable barber in Cambridge, but after getting a great fade from both Anthony and Jordan, will be coming back here for the rest of my time in the city. They both took great care and gave amazing cuts - they also deal well with Asian hair, which can be hard to cut. Just make sure to book well in advance on their website. I came here from the airport but wasnt able to get a cut, its all by appointment using a third party app. There is no parking area. They are professional and respectful. Need to plan ahead as appointments fill up fast.

This is a great barber shop. I am very particular about what I like, and I have tried various barbers in various areas of Boston. This is the best one so far. The staff - Anthony, Phil for example - really know what they are doing and if you ask their advice, they will tell you what could look good on you or which cut you should avoid. This is extremely important, and this is what makes a difference to me. And their shaving game is even better!

Schedule your appointment online, they rarely accept walkins. Notice that it takes two weeks to schedule anything? Of course it does, they are busy af for a reason.

Just had a great and relaxing experience getting my first straight razor shave with John P. I had a beard for 7 months and it was time to chop it off for the warm weather. Best barbershop I’ve ever been to hands down.

They are legit and always on time. Ive tried almost all barbers and they are all solid. The fact I can book in advance is invaluable.

Ive been here three times so far with 3 different barbers, including the master barbers Anthony and Drew. You can see that Anthony cares about his business and that everything runs smoothly, hes committed and does his best to make the customer happy. The last time I also wanted to get a beard trim and, based on the reviews, I decided to go with Drew. Apart from the great service, he simply cut my hair and trimmed my beard exactly how I wanted.I see some not very good reviews, if you are unsatisfied with the service I highly recommend you talk to Anthony,.the manager, and you wont regret!

Extremely great barbershop. Cant recommend these guys strongly enough--Ive gotten cuts from John, Phil, Jordan, and Drew and cant say which is my favorite because every cut from each of them was phenomenal. They work well with a lot info or even vague directions (giving even just an idea of my style and time since last cut). Im not the only one that likes Razors Barbershop though--it gets very busy. They dont take walk-ins and if you want to get a Saturday appointment, you NEED to book at least a week in advance to be safe. Weekdays they still are very busy, but youd probably be safe with 3-4 days before booking. Just be aware that if you book and miss the appointment, theyll charge the card. This seems more than fair to me considering how popular they are and that your time slot likely means someone else could get a cut then. Great team, great haircuts.

Best place in Boston area by far. After having mediocre cuts at several other barbershops, I stumbled upon razors. Anthony cut my hair and did a great job. Hes incredibly receptive and offers great suggestions for a good collaborative experience. He knows hair and got me to exactly the cut I was going for, and I am pretty strict on the way I cut my hair. Definitely recommend to anyone who has a very specific style youre looking for.

An excellent staff of true professionals, who as a bonus are very friendly. Its not a cheap cut, but if thats what you want, head to Supercuts and get butchered. Ive had my hair cut by several of the barbers here, and they all do an impeccable job.

The staff are very friendly and talkative. The interior decor is cool and interesting. My only time having my hair cut here was with the head barber and he lacked attention to detail and besides being frequently interrupted to handle customers who had just walked in, he would pause what he was doing with my hair in order to focus more on our conversation. Had this been with any other member of their staff, I would give it another go, but I suspect that you dont get much better than the head barber.

Best barbershop in Boston. They take appointments, its clean, and the staff is great. I go to Joe and have been for years. The title Master Barber doesnt just get handed out for fun. Joe and his brother Anthony are killing it over there in Somerville and make most other mens stores, of any kind, look bad. I always send people to this place. They take cards and cash.

Hands down the best place to get a haircut and/or straightshave in the Boston area. The staff is incredibly friendly, the owners Joey and Anthony are great guys and the service they provide is of very high quality. Despite some long lines, its always worth it and at $15 a cut, their price is hard to beat. Also each chair comes with its own television which frequently plays either sports or a great movie. Awesome!

Man, don’t even bother coming here without an appointment. This is a salon not a barbershop, no walk-ins. If you do manage to get inside as a walk in, expect to wait like an hour anyway.P.S. This was years ago, but one of the barbers/owners sliced part of my ear off. That’s why I stopped coming here. I asked, and he said it happened about every 2 weeks. After he cut my ear, I came in, and he still would be chatting with barbers, customers, watching tv and snipping away without looking. I mean...dude it’s no wonder you cut ears off if you’re not even looking while you’re using sharp scissors.Anyway, mb. I’m in a bad mood, but the above is still true. Place has a nice vibe though.

Joe is the nicest guy you could meet. I always look forward to my cuts not just because I get to look like myself again but for the time I get to talk to Joe. And as a woman I have never once felt out of place or unwelcome. True gentlemen here.
