I come down for the races every year, going to the StretchLab since they opened. Very clean, very professional. Had a great experience with Crystal, Desiree, Gwen, Savannah and Dan, the manager. Now I know why they opened their second location in Del Mar. I highly recommend getting stretched regularly here, your body will thank you!
I love this place, as a athlete, they help me a lot. They prepare my body for each practice and game :) Definitely come try it out!
BUYER BEWARE!!!! Read the other reviews I am not the only client who has been poorly treated and miscommunicated with. I am very surprised that the owner, Angie Cohen, would be ok with putting someone like Dan Vyse in charge of her studios. He is EXTREMELY unprofessional, to the point that you can’t believe your ears! Imagine a business who’s sole purpose is to help you feel better but in all actuality is more interested in taking your money and then in return would blatantly disrespect you and act like it is all ok! Beware Dan gets defensive, and quick to do so I might add, when you call them out on the improper use of your credit card on file. They require you to place your card on file in the event you don’t abide by their policies, of which I was very conscientious of, but unfairly they also will use your card to charge sessions without your permission….and well before you even use the service…aka take your money and sit on it for weeks at a time before you even utilize the stretch service, doesn’t seem fair, particularly because that is NOT how it was explained when first signing up for stretch services. Very unethical. I would caution everyone to be very clear about their policies…otherwise they will charge with reckless abandon on your credit card!! Not exaggerating! It happened to me twice in one month, I even asked them to make a note on my account to not charge my card until day of service, which I was told was not a problem. I’m the perfect client I was paying the “rack rate” for each stretch no discounted membership, pretty invaluable you’d think! Only to be disrespected when you call them out on the misuse of your credit card. Very strange way to do business, unethical and a huge let down, but I suppose Angie is on board with it, because she has kept Dan around for a long time managing her studios. Only my personal opinion here but seems interesting each time this happened it was the end of the month, makes you wonder…..hmmm…trying to make a sales number? Good Luck with everything guys, I will definitely let everyone know that you all are a class act!
Much more effective at relieving back pain/knots than a deep tissue massage. I always leave feeling very relaxed and loosened up. It also helps tremendously with my golf game. Great staff too!
Very clean, very professional! Really enjoy how I feel afterwards, thank you!!
Always to the point! Love this place ❤
I cant say enough great stuff about Angie and her team. When we were in Covid-19 lockdown, they were kind enough to deliver a stretching strap so we could get started using Zoom virtual classes. After that, the studio opened up last week and the sessions have been extremely productive and helpful to my health. As a big tennis fan, I have been dealing with a case of plantar factitious, and have made great strides regarding recovery thanks to the team at StretchLab.
Feel like Im 24 again after every stretch. Each instructor is incredibly qualified and diligent about execution and technique. Tip: Do 50 minutes $49 introductory session to truly feel the benefits immediately and all over.
I’m 37 now. Not 25. I need this. And they are very professional and no doubt contribute to overall health, total body wellness and longevity. Anyone who doesn’t benefit from this doesn’t have their expectations properly managed about the offering and intent.
This was a difficult one to rate and perfect example of how one unreasonable team member can alter an entire experience. I was a member for three or four months and loved the Flexologists. I tried many different people and Sam became my fav. The front office staff was always so friendly and welcoming. At time I joined it was about $170/mo for 4 25 min stretches. I really noticed my flexibility increase each month.*Be sure to get proper instructions on how to roll over a session if you’ll be traveling or otherwise unable to complete all your stretches in the month. I was told what to do but when I did that, was passed off to office manager Dan who told me I was given wrong info and would not be able to recover that session*Unfortunately, Dan was not helpful at all with resolving this miscommunication. I cancelled my membership, only then did he state he would help me get back my “lost” stretch if I would reinstate it. No thanks.Sad that one unprofessional experience can change my whole view of the place.
Feel really good enjoyed the people and at 73 yrs. Of age, I joined after the great workout I received from a young man, I didnt get his name, but he was well built and helped mussels I forgot I had. Use my name to find out his; trust me you will thank me.
Love this place as the stretching is addicting and very beneficial. The owner/manager is super sweet and really cares for your well being.
I workout 4-5 times a week and have dealt with a ruptured L5 with Sciatic nerve pain for a majority of my life. Normally I keep the pain managed through regular chiropractic visits but recently I played a few rounds of golf which aggravated my injury and the pain has been bad since before the holidays. During this time I have not been able to work out and nothing I was doing (Chiro, foam roller, ice, heat etc) was working to release the pain. I opened a membership with StretchLab hoping to get some good results and went to a 25 minute stretch a few weeks back and things felt a little better but not that much. After speaking with Angie she recommended that I try a 50 minute stretch so they could focus on my problem areas. I arrange an appointment with Dru who talked through my injury/pain and really stretched the area. I got up from the stretch feeling better but not expecting things to be much different. I was wrong. Later that night as I was walking around my home I noticed that constant nagging pain down the back of my leg was faint at most. I woke up this morning and for the first time got back into another 60 minute bootcamp class. Im not 100% yet but the depression that set in from being sedentary and not being able to workout feels like its going away and there is a light at the end of the tunnel.Thank you Dru and StretchLab! I will be back soon for another 50!!
Kelsey does a great job of stretching. Highly recommend. Give it a try, you need it.
They will lure you to their site and be ambiguous about the intro stretch pricing. Only the group stretch is free but not the intro stretch. Be careful that if they contact you for an intro stretch, that means they assume you to pay.
The Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce is proud to have StretchLab of Solana Beach as a member and appreciate all they do for the community!
DO NOT SIGN UP. I needed to cancel or suspend my account and for some scamy reason the require someone to come in to do it AND it includes a 31 day cancellation notice so they can charge you more money for stuff you are not going to use.
