I’ve been training with Kim McNeil for over 2 years now and I have made tremendous progress in my strength, endurance and flexibility. I was training in random gyms before that and I didn’t see results. Kim has the technical knowledge to take your training to the next level. Her personal attention, skills and experience as well as the programs she tailors to your needs make all the difference! I highly recommend her!
I recently moved from Solana Beach and one of the things I miss the most is my workout with Kali. At 68, Kali challenged me and made me stronger, even at my age. I appreciated her attention to previous injury, the support, kindness and knowledge she has. The workouts were stepped up and changed as my strength grew, yes grew! Kim McNeil has been training me for the past three years and she is by far the best trainer I’ve ever had. She is incredibly intelligent and her workouts have not only helped me heal from past injuries but I feel like I’ve also prevented injuries since working out with her. I used to get lots of ankle sprains and back pain but since I’ve been training with her over the years, I’ve noticed that disappear and I feel overall stronger. I trust her and her methods; since training with her I have toned up, lost weight, and become overall happier and more confident in my body image and self-esteem. Kim is a real gift and she takes her job incredibly seriously.

Ive been coming here since December of 2020, trying to work off that Covid 20. Kali set me up with Ryan who has been creating personalized sessions with me for months. She challenges me to push my limits while also catering my workouts to accommodate my (multiple) past knee surgeries and injuries. This is the first time I have EVER felt comfortable in a gym, and the first time I have ever felt comfortable strength training. EVER. No judgment at this gym. Only kindness. I’ve been training with Kim McNeil for the past couple of years and cannot say enough about her! Kim is incredibly professional, knows the body and tailors each workout to the individual. I’ve recently had a shoulder injury (not related to Kim’s workouts) and Kim has been very patient with me and makes sure we work around the injury.Scend Fitness is a fantastic private training studio. It’s small, but spacious enough for private training, very clean, great equipment and all of trainers are very personable.

I savor my sweaty sessions with Kim. She’s clearly highly trained, so form and modifications are a norm. Her Zoom classes are organized and, therefore, predictable yet they are always challenging and creative. She’s got a great demeanor, and she’s keep you smiling through the burn!

Kim Mcneil has been working with me for a number of years. I have done individual and group sessions with her as well as classes. Her enthusiasm makes it fun and her passion for and knowledge of fitness has made all the sessions valuable in improving my fitness level. I am much improved from when I first started working out with her, which has allowed me to enjoy my recreational activities more, such as biking, pickleball, hiking and active vacations. Ive been coming to Scend ever since it opened, training twice a week with Natalie. Kali has created a perfect environment for personal training, and Natalie is wonderful to work with. Shes intelligent, knowledgable, creative and caring. Unlike large impersonal gyms, Scend is perfect for my needs, keeping fit as a senior. Highly recommended.
I am so grateful for the body of wonderful knowledge that exists in the form of owner Kimberly! I have been training with her for the last 8 months and am enjoying not only increased strength and mobility, but being sneak attacked with all sort of body tricks and information from other forms such as aikido, olympic style weight lifting, and qui gong.
