I loved the welcome atmosphere here. Lesser experienced stylist helped me but she was attention to what I was saying and did a good job. Prices so much more reasonable than Nashville too. I will probably be back! I don’t live in Smyrna but I like this place that much that it’s worth the drive!

Best salon and hair cutting place Ive ever been to. The last 3 years, only this has had my business. Norman is great and does phenomenal work. If you need your hair cut, look no further.

I came in with my natural brown hair and I wanted blonde highlights put throughout my hair and I told them when they got done that it didn’t look like they did anything. I waited a few days to see if it would lighten up or anything and I barely seen any blonde in my hair. People were amazing but service wasn’t the greatest. I’ve tried to call salon over and over to get it fixed and no one will answer the phone.

Norman is the best! I’ve been with him since we moved to TN 7 years ago, and 2 years ago we moved about 2 hours away and I still make the trip every 6 to 8 weeks because NO ONE can do hair like Norman!

Norman has been doing my hair since I was 12 years old. I have tried other salons due to travel or living out in East Nashville and nothing compares to the experience you get at Fuse. I will gladly drive thirty minutes to have my hair done by Norman. I refuse to go anywhere else.

Im not a fan of bad reviews but this just needs to be shared. I originally picked this place from the good reviews. Went their and Norman was very nice and friendly. Asked for blonde highlights and brown low lights and a cut. Went home and noticed the coloring was so bad and my cut was nothing like the picture. So I called and had to reschedule. Got everything redone however left with almost all blonde hair. It seems he was not listening to what I wanted from the beginning. I ended having to spend more money to have my hair fixed at another salon. It was the worst coloring I have ever had 2 times in a row..

Ill be 41 this year, I got lucky and stumbled in with a co-worker who at the time worked for Norm. I was 17 at the time. I ONLY allow Norm to touch my hair anymore. Ive lived in Chattanooga and Little Rock... I would wait months and sometimes years to have my hair cut or highlights. I...being impatient would sometimes just go to another shop or salon. Spending less and even more money than I would have had I made an appointment with Norm.....needless to say he always got a call afterward for an appointment to fix the mess ups from the other salons. Sometimes you may be looking at a 2 week to a month for an appointment....But I can not stress enough how the wait is worth this hair genius working with your hair. I get curious sometimes and want to do crazy cuts or colors, he always brings me back down to level. I walk in and instantly know I have nothing to worry about. I can actually relax, close my eyes, and even fall asleep. Theres not the urge and need to look into the mirror. Over the years the shop has upgraded and changed, painted and primped. The energy is ever-flowing and always positive. Your never crowded with people, it feels like home. Get comfortable with mellow music and a coffee bristo with multiple choices of creamers and sugar. If coffee isnt your thing they also have chilled water and some popular soda choices also available. Dont forget your Paul Mitchell shampoo, conditioner, and styling products. I use nothing else. Theres really no point in wasting my money on products that dont measure up or cause even more damage. I cant express enough prices are prices....a good product will and should always last you longer, you wont have to use as much in the long run so your not running out or trashing a half full bottle of product you now hate. Your saving money. Ive had a Paul Mitchell straightener since 2008 I believe...still works like new. I do take care of it, but it works like the first day. I did upgrade to a larger one recently and put the funds behind a good Paul Mitchell blow dryer. My hair feels and looks healthier than ever before. Feels alive rather than dead stands just coming out of my head. It will be a sad day when Norm retires. Posting different pics from over the years starting in 2006 to last month for reference on cuts and coloring also throwing in a pic from a few years ago inside the shop and my cup of Joe. I trust these locks with no one else.

I have gone to A Fuse for years. Norman always does an excellent job every single time. I wouldn’t trust my hair to anyone else.

Ive used this salon for my hair care needs many times. I appreciate the professionalism, quality & attention Im given with each visit. Its hard to find a place that makes me feel as beautiful & well cared for as A Fuse Salon!

Rude! Would not let my brown daughter and her brown friend take a senior pic on the staircase. Its private property! Wow Covid and we cant take a picture. I never review but this is petty and sad! Response to Norman.I was in front of the Spiral staircase. We were down stairs and the woman opened the door from upstairs. I slim woman with brown shoulder length hair open the door from the top of the staircase. It was after 5 pm. My daughter was in her cap and gown. If it wasnt your establishment then I apoligize. Its even worse if it was someone random from another company not allowing two young woman an opportunity to make memories during this time. My daughter is finally happy to participate in normal senior events we all previously shared. Two senoirs capturing a moment important to them. Im a native of smyrna and the old small town of smyrna is not like that. So I wss shocked and disgusted with the behavior. Im Christian so I let it slide because I am a law abiding citizen. And I respect peoples peoples wishes and property. But it rubbed my soul the wrong way.

He will take care of your hair and you have to continue taking care of it on your end as well. I have gone to hair stylist that left my hair dry, damaged and falling off, the color was always leaving it brassy. Until I came to Norman at Fuse Salon, my hair feels amazing since the first appt! My hair color has been a process but I was told it would be, getting it to the color I want following his advice. He knows what he is doing with the newest hair products and he takes his time! I had to share this! The impossible is possible with Norman, all good things happen to those who wait; patience is all it takes for amazing results. Norman you have done an amazing job to my hair, its longer, its so much healthier, and my hair color has increased my self esteem! Thank you!

Norman is the best, bar none, and I would drive any distance for one of his fabulous haircuts! As well, the shampoo experience is amazing, with a wonderful head and neck massage. You leave feeling refreshed and relaxed, and a top notch haircut on top of it! He is an amazing colorist as well. He is patient and kind, and really takes the time to get to know his clients. On top of all of this, the people who work with him are amazing as well! A Fuse Salon gets 10s all the way around!

Mr. Norman is definitely the best around, After going to many hair dressers in Smyrna and Murfreesboro; I have finally found the one. He listens and does exactly what you ask him for, takes his time, does a great job and never disappoints! Thank you so much for your wonderful job.

Norman came highly recommended, and he doesnt disappoint. He is a great colourist, (and does a nice head massage when washing your hair)!and in the many years Ive been going to him, I was always happy with the outcome.

Norman is incredible! I travel all over the US in an RV so when I need a trim, I try to find a really good hairdresser. This is not a very easy thing to do without personal recommendations so thats why Im here! YOU NEED TO KNOW THAT THIS MAN IS AN ARTIST WITH SCISSORS!You could pay less but it would never look as good, make you happy or grow out correctly.You are worth more; your hair is worth more.
