Stephanie is absolutely wonderful! My husband and I have been coming to her since we moved to Smyrna a few years ago. I also enjoy the Covid protocols (appointment only, mask, temp reading, etc). Although sometimes we have to wait 30+m due to running behind schedule, Stephanie is always very apologetic and gives 110% to every haircut she gives. My hair has never been so healthy. I cant wait to have her do my hair color!

I made an appointment. Then called half hour ahead of time to check if there are any delays. I told the lady I am just 5min away so if she is running late please call and let me know so I am not just sitting there waiting for a long time. She aasured me there are no delays and I should arrive on time. But when I got there I had to just sit and wait for 45min and then walk out without getting my hair cut.When I aaked her why she did not let me know she was running late when I called right before the appointment she said I can leave if I do not want to wait. No apology for not respecting my time. Very rude.

Let me start off by saying this is a well run and organized establishment. As soon as i walked in the door i received a warm greeting from every staff member. I even had the opportunity to meet the owner of the barbershop who had such a great personality and energy about him. The barber i had was amazing!!! She took her time and made sure my haircut was perfect. I truly believe that if you look good then you feel good and if you feel good you will perform great!! I had an excellent experience at the Haircut shop. It was my first time there and I was most pleased with the service and quality of work. I received a Blow out and haircut which turned out greater than expected, the technique used by my stylist Pamela was very unique. They also used excellent hair products in my hair which is definitely a plus for me as well. I have very thick long hair and thought that would have been much of a challenge to the stylist, however the layers and styling of my hair exceeded expectations. I will most definitely return and would recommend this shop and also Pamelas services to anyone looking for a great haircut!!!

I came in as a walk in and Mariah was willing to take me for a haircut. She was very knowledgeable and kind. Her customer service was off the charts! I was very impressed! She made me feel very comfortable. I even shared with her my crazy story about my family drama and she was able to remain neutral while having an open ear. Very very pleased! ❤️

Good haircuts but they usually have 1 or 2 stylist in at one time and the wait is 30 min-1hr. Checking in through the app doesnt seem speed up anything. The prices are good if you prepay for the $10 hair cut but otherwise its pretty standard pricing with the rest of the quick cut places around.

I walked in without an appointment and was greeted by Terah. She helped me immediately, listened to everything I said, and knew exactly what to do. She really understood me (not just my hair, but my vibe too). I am really blown away with the results. I have a haircut I really love. She is a fantastic stylist and she has a great heart. First things first walking into the The Hair Cut shop I felt immediately welcomed. I’m from California and I was in need of a barber. I asked my friend that lives out in Powder springs for a good barber. As soon as I walked in the I was greeted with smiles and kindness. The staff and stylist was very intentive and professional. And the hair cut was perfect. The barber didn’t push my hair line back or use too sharp of clippers. Great Cut and great price. If you haven’t already visited the hair cut shop. Make sure you make an appointment.

I had made an appointment on Dec. 31st. When I arrived the stylist was still busy (understandable) so I decided to wait thinking it shouldnt be more than 15 minutes. After a full 45-50 minutes goes by, the stylist I had an appointment with, completely skips over me, and tends to a woman that came in after me. She acknowledged me and said would you mind if I just put something in her hair and while its sitting I will cut yours? Feeling obligated I said sure go ahead. After waiting ANOTHER 20 minutes I walked out. Side note - this is not the first time something like this happens in respect to being completely inconsiderate to customers time. A note to the owner - get more than just 2 stylists!! I will never go back here again.

When Im in Atlanta only place I get my shape up, hair wash and fitted so good i walk out feeling like a star. Best in the A hands down and they make you feel at home. The owner is very welcoming and friendly.All are welcome.

I made a reservation for my son and I to have a haircut today. I made sure that I was there before the appointed time as I am a grown man and respect other peoples time. We sat there for 40 minutes past our appointment! The manager finishes their 2nd client and tells me it would only be 2 minutes more. Well that was until someone she knew came in! Im only going to do their sides, it will take a just a few minutes. They just walked through the door and my son and I had been waiting for a haircut for almost an hour! Eventually the other person put my son in another chair and cut his hair while she was working on someone else. The manager finished her friend at the same time my son was done. Needless to say, I didnt get a haircut. Very unprofessional. Dont buy the prepaid card!

Owner and people are so courtesies . This is my third hair cut there and when i went there along with my 2 kids today, they really treated us well even my kids were running around. Hair cut performed by Stephanie is really good and she so so professional in her work. Love to go again and again and definitely recommending my friends.

But after two hours, I keep realizing how much I love this hair cut. I would recommend asking for Ray, he did an amazing job. The worst haircut I have ever gotten. I have been growing out my hair for around 6 months, getting it to just a length that I liked. Everything was already even, I just needed to have it TRIMMED around the ears and back. I specifically said leave the top alone, I just want to cut around the sides and back. The woman heard me, understood me. Starts out fine, but then she proceeds to butcher the entirety of my head. Sides, back, blending, bangs, top, everything looks awful. I cannot believe I paid money for this. I am a nice person, so I smiled and got the hell out. But I DO NOT plan on going back to this establishment. Save yourself if you want a barber/stylist that actually LISTENS when you give them instructions on what you would like done.

I have only been here once, so I dont have experience with all of the stylists, but I can tell you not to go to Faren. I had high hopes since this place had such good reviews. Also, Ive passed it often on the way home and it seemed like a cool place. I made a reservation online on Saturday for a cut and style. She didnt even offer to wash my hair after I told her that it had dry shampoo in it and needed it. I asked for it to be layered in the back and blended to longer in the front- Basically, a layered angled bob. She made me look like Dorothy Hamill. I actually had to tell her to stop cutting when she started to cut the front above my chin. When I pointed out that it was longer on one side, she argued with me that it wasnt, even though I was looking in the mirror and showing her exactly where. She started styling it and I told her not to bother. Why style it when she didnt even wash it? This was, without a doubt, the worst haircut experience Ive ever had.

Been coming here every month for my haircuts. Ray is awesome and definitely pays attention to detail. I decided to change my haircut midway and he gladly changed it for me. Only positive things to say about Headrush. Adult mens haircuts run $15 but definitely better attention to detail than some other franchised hair places.

I have been going to head rush for more than a year now. I got haircut from different stylist and all of them are really good but Ray is exceptionally well at what he does. The Asian lady just cut my hair... seriously don’t trust her with short haircuts she also does not know how to layer women’s hair. I have never done reviews but what she did to my hair is totally unacceptable I will try to post pictures If I figure out how. I tried telling her in a nice way that she didn’t cut my hair the way I told her but she told me she had another customer waiting for her and litteraly didn’t care that I didn’t like my hair. I paid her... tipped her and will never walk in this place again.

Nice place for a haircut. They remember your preference so if you are getting the same haircut you dont have to expain what you want again or you can make small adjustments. Its also really good for walk ins which for me is really helpful since I can just go when I find some free time.

I have been to the salon twice, had two different stylist, both were unbelievably talented. I had Lucy cut my hair this week and it was PHENOMENAL. So good, I may have to travel to Buckhead when she is not at the Powers Ferry location.

Went in today not knowing what the outcome would be . Yesterday I went to another place for maintenance on my undercut (who messes up an undercut) and walked out gapped, half cut, and sad. Today I stopped in to see what could be done if anything and was greeted by Terah. Immediately I felt like she would help and help she did ! My son went on 05/18 and the lady cutting his hair cut his ear with the clippers. His ear would not stop bleeding and she decided to add hair clay to the wound to make it stop. Since that did not work she decided to spray hairspray on top of the clay. I had to take my son to the ER and get it taken care of, I left a message on 05/18 as soon as my son got home, but still no response from them. You would think they would care more about the client. Smh..

Walked in expecting a normal haircut experience, having done the normal greatclips/supercuts/etc thing before. I didnt think there was much difference between one place and another since my style and cut is pretty much the most basic professional short cut. I was very impressed by the time it was done, they really paid attention to details that i wouldnt have known to ask for or look for and it made a big difference in the way a basic cut looks. Staff was friendly and professional and quick. Highly recommend.

Weve been going to the haircut shop for many months. My experience has usually been pretty good. I think it really depends on the stylist who does the cut. Ive had a few bad ones, and a few great ones. I personally prefer Stephanie or Abid. Abid was helpful after a pretty bad cut that we both had, and gave us credit for future haircuts. When I went back, I got a cut and highlights from that same friendly stylist (mistake - but said stylist no longer works there). I dont think shed ever actually done foil highlights before because my ears and scalp were burned and I looked a hot mess the next day, but I didnt have time to reach out about it. (I always recommend saying something at the moment youre unsatisfied so that a note can be made on your account--Cant hurt!) About a month or so later, I came in and Stephanie did a great job at helping me recover from that. Ill be asking for her again, and continuing to patronize indefinitely. One of the other things Ill miss is the $10 haircut that led us to come here in the first place. It was simple in the beginning and then that turned into cards where you purchase 5 haircuts in advance. Apparently they wont be doing that anymore, at least not regularly. Many of my friends were going here until I told them about this change. Hope they bring it back. All in all, this is where Ill be getting my haircut. Pretty happy, even with some not so happy results.
