I moved down to this area a little over a year ago, my first visit at the cactus salon was a walk-in, and I just keep going back.. Francesca is wonderful, professional and she knows exactly what you want! Everyone there is so lovely it’s a great team. I wish I could treat the entire staff to a holiday lunch.. The owner must be very proud of having them

This salon deserves 5 stars. The women here are all so friendly and sweet. I have been going there for some time now and Sarina is fantastic she always does a great job! I’ll show her a hairstyle that I am interested in doing and she will tell me if it will work on my hair or not and if not she tells me that she can modify it so it would look almost the same. Sarina also does my highlights they also come out great!My experience here is definitely a great one!!

Asia did amazing hair color and cut! Cassandra created beautiful up-do for the mother of the groom! Serena did wonderful hairstyles for the bridal party. I have a great experience every time I go there! Martha is an amazing owner. Thank you for the best service. Highly recommended for everyone!!! :)

Very friendly and talented staff, the salon was clean and offered me coffee and a snack. They did a beautiful job and got me in and out quickly! Martha at the desk was very friendly and great conversation. Will definitely be back

If I could give this salon no starts I would, I have went to plenty of cactus salons and they have done a wonderful job, I hate to blast people but I had a lady Angie the day before Thanksgiving, I asked if they had the time for what I wanted which was a full solid light brown color, understanding I have red in my hair and I knew it wouldnt get done first session I wanted my face framed with highlights, my appointment was at 12:45 I didnt get into my chair until 1:15, I didnt leave the salon till 5:30 at night dissatisfied with my hair cut and color I have a copper highlights when I wanted blonde, I asked the receptionist if it was possible for my hair to be able to come the color i wanted they assured me it would be no problem, I had 8 foils put it and they still charged me for 4 which was 32$ my total was 220$ reasonable if it was a qualified salon as they are supposed to be I highly do not recommend this salon in nesconset NY unprofessional, talking, joking, eating their lunch as my timer went off twenty minutes ago I have never been so disgusted by a salon in my entire life !!!! I always loved cactus especially on portion road when it was still there I highly highly recommend to not go here ! No single process color and 8 foils should take 5 and a half hours absolutely disgusted, the young woman who washed my hair was delightful but it was the worst 245$ I have ever spent that I work my ass off for, good luck

Always love Cactus! Super nice and never leave disappointed. Might be a little pricer than other salons, but you get what you pay for. Aja is a hair genius.

After cutting my own hair for over 10 years, I was nervous to let anyone touch it. Cassandra was my hair dresser and she did an AMAZING job! Could not be any happier with my new bob cut!

Went to Nesconset location never again. My hair was suppose to only have blonde put in it and it came out orange when I said it looks brownish orange she insisted, no its blonde. She then told me she can lighten the front by my face but not the whole thing because it wont look natural but I initially told her I want it more to pop against my natural dark brown hair... the whole thing looks orange I will never go back.

Francesca gave me a beautiful cut and an amazing blowout!! I left the salon feeling like a million dollars!!!!
