I have been in a constant battle with the insurance company for over a month for an accident that was not my fault, and when it came down to it, these two were above and beyond to helping me resolve my issue! the bumper looks fantastic and they even went the extra mile and cleaned my car for me on the coldest and snowiest week of the year and in a while! I will continue to use them for all my repair needs and they do much better and for a more fair price than the other places in the area! Some of these shops should take notes because the hard working individuals at Accurate Auto Repair really live up to the name of the company!

They never recommend anything unnecessary. In fact, their crew has kept my 2008 G6 running smoothly since 2017 and say she’s in great condition.I must say, it’s a huge time saver and relief to know I don’t need to run around getting second opinions and comparing prices. I trust their team and will continue to use them as my primary mechanic.

We dropped in the day before a road trip - late notice - to see if they could check out a sound that had us concerned. Turned out there was a serious bearing problem -- they both needed replacing -- and the guys jumped on it, working beyond 5pm to complete the work in time for our trip. Called around noon, asked for an estimate and was very fair. Replaced my 2017 Civic AC compressor and recharged with the rare and new R-134 that other shops didnt have. $598.96 while dealership quoted me $900+When I got there, guy in front desk was very friendly and even waited an extra half hour for me to be able to pick up my car safely after they finished working on it an hour after closing. 10/10 service.

I got some work done to my cooling system. The work went well. They prioritized the work since I was from out of town and they service me pretty quickly.However, I was charged twice overcharged and had to go through hell and high water to get a refund.I was told they would be open but they werent. I was from out of town so I had to call back and forth it was just a mess . Eventually I ended up having to call my bank just to get the charge disputed. So all in all, they seem like good guys but the professionalism could be a lot better.

Since only I was home and had no one to drive me back after I dropped my car off for repair, Mohammed offered to drive me home...And pick me up when the repairs were done.He explains car issues well and takes time to make certain I understand what the problems and solutions are. Had a problem pop up with the front suspension which was previously fixed about a year ago and he took care of it at no charge. Great place and the biggest selling point is that they are extremely honest. Muhammed is very knowledgeable and will give you the best advice without trying to upsell you some nonsense gadget. My car was sitting in the garage for more than a year and they were able to get it up and running at a very reasonable price. I was also given options to add some recommended additions but was told clearly that they are by no means required. I highly recommend this place

Ive come across Accurate Auto Repairs Saqib Mohammed through my cousin. I was in need of change of breaks, new tires and a 60,000 mile service. Not only did they give me original parts for my Lexus IS 250, they gave me a great bargain alongside solid workmanship. My car felt different the first time I got it out of the shop, drove much smoother and fuel economy seemed a lot better beside engine performance. I actually stopped going to the dealership for maintenance because, Mr. Mohammed kept in touch regarding my vehicle whether it was time for a service or, not. Would definitely recommend if you need a business you can rely on.

Fabulous company, excellent mechanics, managed professionally and well. Ive been going to these guys and their sister business in Rogers Park, Auto Tecx, for maybe 4 years, and they are THE BEST. It sounds over the top, but I dont give over the top reviews. They look for the solution, the best solution, the most economical solution, they discuss it with you, they understand financial constraints, and they back their work. They also do Body Work in Rogers Park - I had some done on my Honda Accord, and then on my Honda Fit - excellent. Hard working guys, all of them, and its a pleasant and respectful atmosphere. Had some issue with my Vehicles AC Unit. Thought it was related to recent flooding in the area. I took my car to a different shop where I’v taken my car for years. Unfortunately, they spent hours and thought it was the hybrid system for my vehicle. My personal friend also worked on it for like 7 hours. Neither one could troubleshoot it. Brought it back to these guys who did my oil change a month ago. No joke, they diagnosed and resolved the issue and the vehicle was ready the next day. Thank You gentlemen. Prices were very affordable as well. They are very very very knowledgeable in breaking down the repairs and why the AC wasn’t operating properly.

The team at Accurate as been outstanding! Unfortunately for me I had to make a few visits for multiple issues (tires, brakes, heater, and random small repairs) but the team has always been great letting me know my options and what needed to be done vs trying to sell me on doing multiple things. Also anytime I popped in they’ve been great to take a quick check with no charges even when they actually did a few small repairs/checks at no cost (popped in a rear camera, filled tires, checked engine). The car dealership needed an appt and of course a fee just for seeing me. There are honest repair companies out there and I found them!

The guys down at this garage definitely helped me out and possibly saved my life when they pointed out incomplete work done by another garage. Very dishonest. Call in for a quote they give you cheapest price. Then come to the shop they said the parts from dealer is cheaper than those of after market, so another price is given. Finally, more costs are added in when pick up the car.

Last week we were on a family road trip passing through Illinois when we started having car trouble, stalling out in the middle of traffic on the highway. We stopped at the nearest auto repair shop. It was an hr before they were closing, they test drove my car, checked and put in fluids, ran a test and test drove it again. Unfortunately, they believed it was my transmission and I needed to take it to a Nissan dealership. We were 4 hrs from home with a small child. He gave us directions to the nearest dealership and offered us advice on what to do. Even though they couldnt fix the issue they were so kind and understanding of our situation. We dont live in state but if we did this would be the place we would go. Highly recommend it youre looking for friendly, quality service.

Highly professional service, work performed in time promised, in two occasions they worked after hours to finish my car (Toyota Highlander 2005 V6 with 93,000 miles on it). Do not be surprise that if you drive in without call you cannot park your car there or get immediate service - full every day of the week. You judge what that means. Very satisfied! Prices - parts reasonable, labor - on high side. Your choice - you want mechanic who except only cash, give you no invoice or any proof of service but charge less( Howard & California for example) or you want service with 2 years labor warranty and plenty of options to pay? Professional service and friendly environment, random customers had great things to say about these guys (as you all know or will get to know, good and trustable mechanic shops are hard to find). I took my car in after it was showing the check engine light on, turns out it was a cam sensor issue, which these guys replaced (car had a delayed start and it was shifting gears, but not going past 3k RPMs in each gear, top speed was stuck at 65 MPH on a highway speed limit of 70 MPH). Definitely recommend!

Did work on my car before asking, over price on work, quoted on items that didnt need work done.

This is a sister location for autotecx on clark street. same guys, same family, all brothers. they worked on my civic coupe 2006 replacing the rear shock absorbers. they used monroe OE with incorrect rubber sizes. the rubber kept rubbing against the metal hub and it wore off in 2 months. i called these guys and i was told they went bad for not driving the car often and i should expect a call back after they check the replacement warranty. i never got the call back, it has been 4 months. i bought kyb shocks from amazon and replaced them myself. my advice if you have to go to these guys ask for the parts that were replaced just to make sure that they did indeed replace them and drive it back to them immediately after you think something wasnt done right. if you want to avoid these guys, there are other good workshops in the vicinty with similar labor charges.
