I have been going to Nikki for awhile now when I am in Sioux Falls for other appointments. I live almost 2 hours away and 99% of the time she can get me in for a haircut. She is super friendly, listens to my hair ideas and she suggests some too. I highly recommend Nikki!!

I had a horrible experience. I went in for a cut but ended up with butchered hair. How does this even happen with so many years of experience? I’ve had some uneven hair before and I didn’t even complain but this is just so badly done. I came in because I was feeling off about myself since having a baby a couple weeks ago and decided I wanted a little change. I put my trust in Nikki and it ended up looking like a mess. I’m beyond upset! She reached out and wanted to fix it. Honestly im thankful that she reached out but I cannot for the love of me go back to her. I already have short hair I cannot go back and have her cut it and have it end up worse for that matter!😞 I’m so upset I trusted this place because of the great recommendations! I tried to curl it since curling hair always seems to help but it just looks uneven as well. Please judge for yourself, I left photos attached of her work.

Nicky is the best have gone to her many times. I love her cuts so much that I will not let anyone else do it.

The district manager here listened to what I wanted and was able to do a exceptional job with complying. I will be back to get my hair done for now on. Thank you for doing a great job!

Stephanie absolutely butchered my sons hair. The more we tried to tell her what to do the more messed up the cut got. The bleaching process was also a disaster she didnt check the hair as it processed. She also complained that we had been there 2 hrs, she said You better like it you spent 2 hrs here. The only reason we were there so long is because we were trying to get the haircut my son wanted. She also complained her back hurt. Would not go there again.

If you want an experienced stylist who can give you a great hair cut then Nikki Page is that person. She knows what shes doing and shes very friendly and punctual.

Been coming to Nikki for a while now! Love how great she is with all 3 of my kids, and myself! Today she did a brow wax on my oldest, love it!!! She always explains what she is doing!

From day 1 I had a great experience. Nikki listened to what I wanted and made suggestions that made sense for my hair at that time. When I brought my daughter in it was the same way. She is amazing and she was very patient with my little girl who was scared at first. She explained everything to her before and as she was doing it.

The price was amazing as well, the haircut I got should have cost a lot more, she even did a beard trim and shaping, I look like a new man! I had Jas. She is amazing. Very professional, knew the color I wanted. She was very friendly and held a good conversation. Definitely recommend her. She did an amazing job at the hair color and the face wax! The only downside of it, there was still dye on my forehead. I didn’t notice until after I had already left. However she still did an amazing job. Will always go to her for my hair needs!

Tried to get a haircut an hour an a half before closing called and seed if I can walk in for a men’s cut. They said not tonight. To me very unprofessional I’m sure there was a slot for me to get my hair cut. Very unprofessional and lazy.

I came into SmartStyle Hair Salon expecting to get just a regular haircut with a fade and Ms. Nikki Page definitely exceeded my expectations by doing a FANTASTIC JOB with my bangs and the length of my hair overall. She was very friendly professional and pleasant by answering my questions about keeping and maintaininghealthy hair in general. Unfortunately as she was cutting my hair I discovered it was gray and she very nicely reassured me that she could do a hair color for me to get rid of it. I have seen her work with hair color on her facebook page and she definitely has a natural talent for it and I believe that she will do an amazing job in the future. I look forward to my next appointment and know I will not be disappointed!

My trim turned out awesome. when my brows got waxed, the shape was good but my skin was ripped off on my eyelids! 😡😭

If I could give this place negative stars I would. My wife went in to do a hair coloring, simple thing that she has had done at her salon in Brookings before. She was looking for something closer so she didn’t have to travel so far. They ended up burning her hair and turning it grey. She was so upset but didn’t say anything and left crying. I called and asked for them to give us a refund as I didn’t feel she should have to pay for burnt hair. They never did anything about. My wife ended up spending the same money for someone else to fix it in an emergency and had to cut her hair because the damage was so bad! Do not use this salon! If they make a mistake, they won’t own up to it! Worst customer service ever!

I showed them the style that I wanted, but I ended up with $150. Cut and perm that I hate, and the perm didnt even stay more than a week. So tired of paying for failures!!!

I left crying because my stylist was rude and wouldnt listen to what I asked. I asked to keep the front of my hair long and then reverse Bob where it was a an obvious taper to the nape of my neck. I asked if she wanted to see a picture of what I wanted and she snapped at me that she knew what I was talking about. However instead of keeping long in the front (it hit my collar bones) she cut the front so short its maybe an inch or two past my chin. I wanted a long reverse bob with layers and instead I got a slightly angled page boy cut and Im so upset.

My sons prefer having their haircuts done there because usually are happy with the results; price wise is very reasonable for whats included and the personable approach they are getting. They enjoy it and insist to go there only.

I took my 7 year old son in yesterday to get his hair cut he gets the same style every 3 months. I had a male stylist who just butchered my sons hair so bad he started to cry. I had to take him somewhere new just so they could fix it as best as possible. I will never go there again ever!!!

The stylist listened to what I wanted and didnt try and push layering my hair. She was professional and friendly, all in fantastic.

Mother went in wanting a blonde hair color, they did not inform her that it would lighten up but not be blonde. She is very unhappy with her brown hair and cannot change it for awhile without damaging it. Told the stylist she wasnt happy and she just told her the total of $80+.
