I showed up early for my appointment. Jocelyn was able to get me in! She gave me a great haircut, carried a really good conversation and was very upbeat and cheerful. I dont plan on going anywhere else from now on!

I went in there with this amazing amount of hair. I had it in a middle part and had the flow is what people called it. I went in. Asked for a trim. Only a trim. Not only did I not get a trim. She decided to take an inch off and style it how she liked it. She made it so I no longer can have my middle part anymore. I honestly think it was the final and last time I’ll ever go there. Worst quality cut ever. If you have the option to go else where. Then do so

Have been going to the shop for several years! I have never had anything close to a bad experience. Always treated with great respect and get tended to in a timely matter! Samantha has done nothing less than a remarkable job and refuse to go anywhere else! A place with true professionals that take pride it there work!

Havent had a professional haircut in a year. I just basically told my stylist to make my hair shorter, I didnt really have specifics. She did her thing and I got one of the best haircuts Ive ever had.

My 2 sons have been getting haircuts here the last 4/5 years and we never complain when we have to wait 10-20 min because they are late or short staffed! Today we had an a appointment at 5:40pm, we walked in at 5:44(bad traffic) the very rude girl who greeted us said “you are 10 min late and we can’t do their haircuts” I showed her the time on my phone and I said it is only 5 min, and then she changed the policy to 5 min late have to cancel and said sorry we have other customers in 10min! We didn’t see any other customers in the salon or outside while I waited at the parking lot to call other place to schedule haircuts for the boys! We will never go there again!

My 17yo son has had many haircuts at the Barbershop. He went in today for a “trim” before school starts. He was shocked when the stylist cut off over an inch and left him with the worst style ever. He has been growing out his hair into the trendy shaggy style. He now has a mullet. Worst cut ever.

One of the barbers here, Yoona, has been the most reliable and friendly barber to have cut my hair. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a good time and haircut!

Best haircut, Ive had in years each stylist has the own ideas but they always deliver with the outcome. Try them out you wont want to go anywhere else in Sioux Falls. My hair is the perfect length and Yoo naba has great experience with straight and curly hair. You can trust her. Trust them all its worth it. Always leaving out of there looking sharp.

Customer for a couple years.. Call in to see if they have any openings today (Sunday) I know they are sometimes very busy this day. The nice lady in the phone said we are busy but if you get here by 12:30 and wait a little bit we can squeeze you in no problem!!! That’s the service I have always received here. The lady that greeted me said “if the 12:40 appointment doesn’t show we can if they do show then no. She then tells me 10 min later we cannot get you in then another lady comes up and says I have time.. there is a bad apple in there and will be calling in as well... whoever she was must have not wanted to cut hair...

I haven’t personally been here but both my son and husband use The Barbershop. Son goes for hair cuts and husband goes for beard trims. Always easy to get in, reasonably priced, and good work.

Been there multiple times over the year. Was just there, My 8 year old was seen and yelled at by Ashley. She was told he is sensitive to clippers and then she refused to try something else.Needless to say we left and will not be returning.

Very professional cuts in a relaxed atmosphere. The one time I have had an issue when the scheduled stylist didnt show up, it was resolved quickly and professionally. Couldnt be happier I will be having my hair cut here for a long time

I’ve been getting my hair cut here for a while and love it! Nicole is the best! Update: I called to confirm my haircut and the receptionist, Julie, told me that not only were they not going to be open (no one called me to notify me of this) but also my stylist had been fired, again no notice. Julie didnt seem to care any about getting me rescheduled and gave me a half hearted apology. It sounded like she had better things to do than treat customers right. As you can see from my original review, I used to love this place but I wont be going back.

Always get a great cut and great service here. Even with the recent price increase, it is still worth it. The hot towel, shampoo, and massage are great extra touches. If you havent been here before, they rarely have walk ins available - call ahead for an appointment!

This is probably one of the best places I can suggest to go to. I used to go to cutting edge but they closed down and I struggled to feel comfortable finding a place to get my hair cut. I stopped here and Nicole did my hair and convinced me to try something new and it was pretty awesome.

I decided to stop in and get a haircut. I was greeted upon entry by two pleasant ladies. I was told that it would be a half hour wait as I didnt have an appointment. I sat down in a very comfortable chair and settled in. Maybe ten minutes later I was in the chair. My Stylist, Leticia Rivera, whom is also the Manager was very pleasant and a good conversationalist. She cut my hair as I requested and really loved the hot towel treatment.

This is a barbershop that caters to todays man. A great cut at a great price. Offering TVs at every barbers chair along with a hot towel for your face as they wash and condition your hair. The shoulder massage is the cherry on top of a wonderful standard haircut. They also offer free neck trims in between cuts, just in case you need to be touched up.

Absolutely loved this place. They worked my son in within a moments notice. The hairdresser treated him with great respect and if we were in that area my son said he would love to have his hair done there every week!!!!

Ive always had a great experience here, they do a great job for the price. They give you a hair cut and even redo it free of charge if it doesnt sit right. They also wash your hair and put product in it. I havent done a beard trim, but Im sure they do a good job with those too.

I always get a good haircut her at the Barbershop, The hot towel and shampoo is very relaxing. The staff does turnover quite a bit so I havent ever had a haircut by the same stylist. But no complaints here. Make sure to pay with cash to save and get a rewards card, get a free cut after 10 cuts.

Ive gotten a lot of nice haircuts here. Staff overstate how busy they are and elongate perceived wait times when you are a walk in. Sometimes some staff smell like smoke. Much more professional than a great clips and kept clean.

Finally I get a great haircut!! What a great place Tbs front desk greeted me upon my arrival and I enjoyed eating peanuts while watching ESPN. Best of all my stylist Nicole was extremely engaging, listened to what I said and I left with a great haircut!! All for under $20. Wow!!

I love this place I cut my hair there and only there, since I moved into SF. Girls are so attentive, polite nice and professional. $15 + tax regular mens haircut, + $4-5 tips, so we have a $20 hair perfection! Highly recommended!!

Pretty cheap rates for a bundle of nice service. My favorite is the free neck trim between visits. The quality of the haircuts varies from stylist to stylist - mostly pretty good, but occasionally not so great.

A haircut is an understatement. This business knows how to get your attention--shampoo & conditioner after the cut so a guy doesnt have to feel itchy returning home. But wait theres more--a flippin back massage! Like whoasa I really needed that tonight, my shoulders were killing me. Totally blown away by the thought put into the shop/business. My boyfriend raves about this place. We live in Brookings now and he still wants to go into Sioux Falls to get a haircut here. Every booth has its own TV and bowl of peanuts, and theres a shoulder massage at the end (from a glorified orbital sander, but he loves it). Hes a dazed, grinning fool for a while afterwards, but always a positive experience for him. Me? I can chill in a lobby area, also supplied with TVs and peanuts, and with actually comfortable chairs, I think even leather (not those ones that can fold or stack up on each other). Or I can go to Pizza Rev next door, Pier 1 (the next building), Hyvee across the street (Empire Mall behind that...) or anywhere else in that large shopping district. But that free time is only about a half hour, the girls working at the Barbershop work quick. They kinda have to though -- although they are open until 5pm, it seems like their schedule fills up every day by 2pm with appointments. Id suggest calling ahead in the morning that you want an appointment and get it scheduled early in the day, and dont be late! They run a tight ship and may move on to the next guy in line.
