This is the filthiest place I have ever been in, the outside doors are broke, so they keep them open all year long. Carpet in hallways have not been vacuumed in the 2 yrs I lived here, big stains on carpet and bugs in light fixtures in hallway. Drawers fell off in kitchen and put in a work order 6 months later still no response. Office doesn’t answer phone. Manager is rude, when she should be walking the halls and seeing what needs to improve. Residents need to take pictures and send them the Fair Housing or the corporate office.

If I could rate it a zero I would. We did not have hot water..... Literally from July until early December. Would have to take showers at friends and or parents houses. Megan in the office is super helpful and friendly and she does listen to your concerns. I just wish they could do something more for the roach infestation. We are super clean people and its not ok for us. We will not be signing another lease.

All these reviews above 1 star are fake. This place has broken doors, bad plumbing, roaches all over inside the walls and trim, and the management is awful. Lease is way more expensive than it should be, and maintenance is never there to fix anything on a timely manner, if they show up at all. When your lease is up, they try to scam you by saying the previous damage to the apartment is your fault, and will keep your deposit and demand money for repairs that theyll never actually fix. Goodluck calling them also, since Covid happened no one ever actually works in the office. Please, do yourselves a favor and dont sign a lease here.

This place is disgraceful!!!Managed by incompetent people.There are roaches everywhere.If you tell the managers about an issue nothing will get done about it.There was a huge hole in the bathroom that roaches came in through.There is no place to park unless you pay extra.This is not a good place in the slightest.Rent is outrageous.Got robbed because there was only a board holding the sliding glass door.It is very hard to heat because the windows and doors let in a lot of outside air in.I WILL NEVER STAY IN THAT PLACE AGAIN.

The property management is very professional and I had nothing but great experiences with them! This is a great place to live at a great price ! Especially in a college town for students!

Our management here is fantastic. Very kind and helpful. Prices are good for Sioux City, and the excellence of our community makes this place a steal. Stacy, our manager here, is great, very sweet and concerned for everybodys happiness and satisfaction. Shes made great strides, like organizing community projects to beautify our neighborhood, and also keeping children safer from traffic. Im happy to live here.

My roommate and I moved in a month ago. We love it. The lawn and surrounding outside areas are clean and neat looking. The inside of the buildings are kept up well. The apartments are older, so they look a little old, but the staff has remodeled recently to make it look more modern. The manager, Stacy, is wonderful to work with. We worked with both Stacy and Maribel when we were looking and moving in, and both we professional and friendly. They were honest with us and told us everything we needed to know up front. If we have an issue with something, they are fast to help fix it.

I love this place!!! The workers are nice and everything is well done and plus the area is beautiful and it’s a nice neighborhood I can’t complain about that. I would recommend this spot to anyone who’s looking for a place to settle down. It’s like in the middle of everything if you really think about it.

I just recently moved in with my significant other and we love our new apartment, the people, and the staff! The Apartment complex is very clean and well kept up to date! Im very excited for the pool! Itll be opening in a couple of days! The manager Stacy is very nice and professional. Shes the best! Along with the maintenance, they do a a great job! Just an all around great place and safe area to live! Very glad we chose this place to live!

The office staff is so nice and helpful. The maintenance guy fixes things efficiently and correctly. And the location is fantastic, so many things close by.

Morningside country estates is the most disgusting place I have ever lived at. The management team is a joke, and most of the people that live there are not clean. There were constantly parties being thrown and the cops being called for people in my building and in neighboring buildings. Towards the end of our lease there, we got bed bugs. When I told management this, they reported to me that there were multiple other units that had them as well. They had an exterminator come out, and they were still there when we left the unit. I had to throw out my couch, bed, most of my clothes, and make sure that everything cloth (that was left) in the home was washed and treated properly. I had to buy a new couch and bed. When we got our deposit back, the complex had taken $200 out of it to fill in nail holes on the walls and paint. When I called to discuss this with management, they reported that bug beds are not their fault, that I did not have to throw anything out and they could have treated it, and that they are not responsible for anything. Anybody who is thinking about moving into this complex, DO NOT DO IT. You will get bed bugs, and you will pay for it.

This was my first month living here, so far everything has been fantastic! Stacy manages the apartments like a true professional and works to please everyone and their needs. She knows what she is doing. The maintenance crew is on top of everything if something has gone wrong. The lawns are mowed just about every week. Theyre getting ready to have a community garden day!

New management is worse the last. Quite frankly, the last manager wasn’t even doing a bad job at all. She was always on top of things, went out of her way for us tenants and was always very helpful and understood where things go wrong. I lived in a much smaller apartment and it had such good potential. The storage space here is very small, neighbors are always smoking marijuana and the management would never get behind it at all. There’s even people planting marijuana behind some of the dumpsters and the areas around the apartments. If I were you, keep looking. I’ve had the worst experience here. Especially if you’re a college student wanting to live close to the campus, don’t bother. New management here are awful, they will look nice and pretend to be your friend only to take your money and have you stay here. I’ve found my own place now, a house alongside Morningside and I’ve never been so happy to come back to a home where I’m happy and where it actually feels like a home. Houses here in Sioux City are much more affordable and easier to do. Keep looking! You’ll get there!!

I love this place. I stayed here for almost 4 years while attending Western Iowa Tech and had zero issues. Later, after I married, I moved back in here and aside from being dated, had zero issues. Has a great down home atmosphere, I actually miss living here and if I came back to Siouxland, this would be the first place wed go.

Infested with roaches!!! There’s mold all over the bathrooms. The buildings are filthy and smell like a pile of trash. The only good reviews that are on here are from the actual staff. They are not helpful at all and are VERY rude. There’s no parking for my building as it states in the lease that I’m suppose to have parking(that’s a lie). The roaches are so bad they crawl on you while you’re sleeping. I had to live with a leaking ceiling for over 3 months before they decided to just throw some tape over it. There’s holes in the walls and the floors are rotted out. Please do not move here it is not worth the 800 dollars. The windows are not insulated. In the winter it’s impossible to heat and the snow even comes through the cracks. People shouldn’t even be allowed to live here. It’s not habitable. How about instead of posting FAKE reviews on here can you actually try to make your community a better place to live. Please don’t consider these apartment, no a healthy place to stay and certainly not worth the money.

My boyfriend is moving in to the Morningside Country Estates and so far both him and I love it! Stacy was very sweet and helpful and sounds like she will be a very fun manager! We both look forward to staying there!

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Me and my girlfriend went in and filled out applications and paid the application fee like normal because we were told we could get into an apartment there in time with our current lease. A couple days later we return to put down a deposit to find out there is no way we could ever get you in, in that time. Confused, we cancelled our applications and were told by the receptionist they would mail us our application fee back. It has been 2 months since we were told that and yet still no application fee returned. I called today and explained the whole situation once again and what we were told by the receptionist. The response from the lady on the phone No, we never have and never will return application fees! Throughout the whole process with these people they have been nothing but dishonest and terribly unorganized. RENTERS BEWARE!!!

Great location in Sioux city, the staff is very professional and many apts have been remodeled with new ownership.

The management is super nice and professional. They keep dog treats in the office for everybodys pets which is nice.

If I could rate this place 0 I would. We lived here for over a year and it’s slowly gotten worse. The apartments are old and not updated. You’ll have bugs, cockroaches, spiders etc. We moved out and was told we only have to pay $72, get an email this morning stating we owe more than $1,400!!!! The reason we moved out was because of the drug problem in those apartments. We have a baby and it wasn’t good for her or us. 80% of the time our apartment would smell like marijuana. This place is a joke. Get out while you can!!!

If you are looking for a place to stay do not even think of this place as a possible location! The apartments are riddled with bed bugs! I lost my brand new mattress to them. Not to mention they never fix anything! My bathroom ceiling collapsed it took them four months to do something about it... never ever live here there are far better places for your money I assure you!

I just want to take the time to write a review upon my experience when I was living there great community reasonable prices pet friendly i loved it there, had amazing managers, if I had a problem that fixed it in a timly matter knowing they had other apartments to attend to to get them fixed up. I loved the view of my apartment that I was in when I lived there. When I applied there for an apartment I didnt think it was possible the leasing agent name Stacy Gran made it happen she believed and made me have faith. She is an amazing person very understanding, well listener and if I had a problem she was there to help and assist. I think Im my personal experience Morningside Country Estates is a great place to live, they got a swimming pool, great walking area, amazing apartments with cental air, great spaced area in apartments that felt cozy, its a quick distance to the laundry facilities, the store, convenience stores, shopping area etc I could go on and on. I truly had a wonderful amazing experience with amazing staff. Thank you Morningside Country Estates and a personal thank you to Stacy Gran

If I could give zero stars I would - when seldin took over almost 2 years ago the place started to look good now its a hot mess the current staff is clueless how to do or fix anything, all the good staff is gone, the lawn never gets mowed, nothing is fixed right - the manager is nice but thats it..-- but doesnt know anything and constantly is blaming the failures on everyone else - the bugs are bad probably wont have a pool again this year.... I hate visiting my friend here it has gone from bad to good to horrible.

A fair price for a fair apartment...That sums it up for this property, it is nothing fancy and needs cosmetic work done to many areas outside and inside. The apartments are older but nothing was broken and it was clean when I moved in. The trick is to KEEP YOUR APARTMENT CLEAN, then you do not have issues with charges and getting your deposit back. I had a hassle free move-out, no extra charges, and got my deposit back. I am also not like many of the dirty slackers around that create a biohazard and then complain about everything!Office staff is ok, I never had a problem with them. Maybe because I actually PAID MY RENT ON TIME. I came across some outrageously negative reviews and felt I needed to tip the scales of equality a bit. I would bet many negative comments come from people that caused their own struggles. You reap what you sow, try owning up to your own poor choices and laziness and stop blaming others.This place is not high-class but I believe it is priced fairly for what it is.

Unfortunately I renewed my lease here before truely realizing how this place is run. There are a lot of fake reviews out there but if youre reading this I swear to every word I say. My hallway door has been busted to the point of barely functioning for past year, they come in and spray for roaches every single month. Roaches are god awful in my apartment and I keep my place absolutely spotless! I have to fill entire place with roach traps. Also, my shower has been broken for the past 3 weeks and during that time maintenance has come and gone out of my place at will. They dont even knock! When I tell manager this she turns it around on me and tells me to cooperate and take my note down telling maitenence not to enter my place without a notice. She literally wouldnt let me keep a note up, and that was the only thing giving me peace of mind thinking maybe these maintenece guys will listen to it and give me privacy. NO PRIVACY given to me, my shower is still broken, the entire complex is filled with people that attract cops here daily. No lie, police are here almost every single day dealing with something! Everything is extremely outdated in this place, barely any upkeep at all! I will gladly take this review down if the owner of this place sees this and will let me out of my lease. Thanks.

About 3 months ago, I came into the office at Morningside Country Estates and was in a really bad situation and desperatly needed to get a place to call Home again .. the Manager Stacy, went above and beyond to help Me get an apt here and the first open available, she called me right away. She is one of the best, caring, sweet, smart landlord and awesome mother role model I have met in my 29 years of life.!! She showed compassion, she was understanding and she truly cared about Me and mY kids, and i just met her! I felt like it was a miracle, honestly. I am so happy with our place, who we have as a landlord, and how much of a impact she has on Morningside Country Estates is amazing! Anyone that has come into the Office while I am in there, having any issues or maintence issues, Stacy addresses the proob, and fixes it right away. Just a Go getter, positive happy caring lady!! :)

If you are an out of state applicant, avoid like the plague. Sent in my 350 $ application fee/security deposit through certified mail as requested. Now the leasing agent Maribel Juarez will not return my emails or phone calls from I or my girlfriend. Terribly unprofessional and a downright scam. Avoid at all costs.

Worse place i ever lived, managment the worse, a door they never fix, since i moved in, hole in roof for 6 months after water leak and maintenance walks in with out any notices.

There are tons of bed bugs and the rent keeps going up. Not all the pictures are what it really looks like.
