Very happy with their honesty. I wife took her vehicle in for a ticking sound from the engine. They listened to it then test drove and couldn’t duplicate. So they asked me to come in the see if I could duplicate it and I couldn’t. So they gave me a couple simple ideas as to why it made noise. After all the effort they made and time invested they charged us nothing. Truly a company that’s breaking the mold in car repair. I will recommend them to anyone who asks for a honest repair shop.

I was in from out of town and had a wheel bearing go out on my truck. They were 2 weeks out but said they would get it done. They came through and got me back on the road and were great to work with. Quality work, and affordable prices.

Made an appointment, brought it at 8am, Sunshine called me with the quote to fix it, ordered the part (that was driven down from Seattle), it was installed and I had my truck back with a working window by 4:30 pm. Now that, Ladies and Gentlemen, is great service! So, unless someone has beat me to it, looks like I am submitting the 80th review - honored to do so!

This was after telling me to try some remedies at home first to see if it would fix the issue. They were great to work with and ultimately fixed my truck and were quick as well. ***Beware of this shop***My car was taken here out of necessity yesterday after mechanical issues and being stranded with limited options.They called me the following morning to confirm why the car was there, and said they would check it out. They called back with a quote over $1100.00 Stating that the alternator, serpentine belt, battery, and a headlight needed to be replaced. And recommend an oil change. Said nothing about a diagnostic fee (I have never had a shop charge this fee)I did not agree that this was the work that needed to be done. It was very apparent that this shop was taking advantage of me. And intended to over charge me for services that werent necessary.Dennys auto service charged a $115.00 diagnostic service fee. For work that does not need to be done today. They did not disclose that a fee was going to be charged, let alone one over $100. Im so disappointed that shops still operate this way. Save your money and go to a reputable repair shop.I had my car towed to a shop in tumwater they changed the oil, replaced the battery, confirmed nothing else needed to be replaced at this time, printed out a normal service list so I know what could typically need replacement. Under $300 and to top it off they replaced the headlight for free with me even asking.

Had my car towed here after it started acting weird on the highway. I was so happy with the service I received! They quickly identified the problem, fixed it fast, and had very reasonable charges. Im relatively new to the area and I didnt have a mechanic here - Im relieved to have found an honest shop with talented mechanics and super friendly front desk people. The best!

Dennys Auto has helped me twice in the last couple of months. One vehicle was towed to their repair shop and they got me going very quickly at a very fair price. The second was another break down (different vehicle) that they fit into their schedule to fix for me. They found a couple small things that needed attention and let me decide how to proceed before completing any work. They are fair and honest and I appreciate their service. In any service industry you can find someone who will do it cheaper or faster, but doing their job well and with integrity is a great value. Thank You!

Recent repairs to my truck far exceeded my expectations. What was most outstanding was the excellent communications with the office. Notifications from the office were just what I needed to decide how to proceed. Work was done quick without call-backs. I will use Denny’s again!

My distributor went out, as a single mother I had NO idea how to fix it myself and Dennys mechanic did a fantastic job on my car, and their lovely secretary even took $105 off my final price (compared to the quote) by looking for ways to save me money. I just left a decade long marriage and had $1000 to my name and this company was so kind and professional and didnt take advantage of me. On the contrary, they did everything they could to save me money and do excellent work, quickly. I wont go anywhere else for my car needs EVER. ♥️

This is a great shop...we have had both our vehicles worked on here and they did an excellent job and even gave us a loaner car until our vehicle was fixed. They really take care of the customer and genuinely care about their clients, plus they were low cost too...I recommend this shop to anyone you will not be disappointed. I have had a lot of work done to my S10 at Dennys Auto Service. They have been able to track down all my issues and also give me a break down of the items that were wrong and fix them!! I like also to mention their dispatcher - Sunshine; she is the best of the best. Very helpful and very transportation savvy. I have gotten great advice from her regarding the care of my S10 and she has been spot on every time. If I have questions or concerns, they have always answered and taken care of any my problems.

June 21-2019Last weekend on route to Cape Disappointment my wife and I stopped at Dennys hoping for help. We were driving a 1973 Tioga 15 foot Motor home. We had been having an overheating issue early in to the trip from Snohomish via the Edmonds Kingston ferry. It had gotten pretty bad when we pulled up in Shelton. It was 4 pm and Mark came out and mentioned to us they were just finishing up for the day, and inquired how he could help. After a brief peering inside the engine compartment, he mentioned that the Belt was barely hanging on. The lack of tension was causing the squeak as well as the overheating because there was not enough tension to engage the water pump. Without getting to my knees and asking for help, he headed to the office and without hesitation, got on the computer, located the correct belts (2) ordered them in from a local supply house, and with a big smile said all will be fine. He preceded to hail my overheated beast into the waiting bay. An hour and 1/2 later, the job was complete and the keys were handed over. My wife and I were so appreciative with the integrity, sincerity and dedicated service Mark and his team had provided. We fired up the Old Jed Mobile and we were on our way with a cooler and quieter machine. We made it to the Ocean and Back home a few days later.... Got charged for an estimate...also each time a car is brought to their auto repair, it gets held for a week before the work is started. This has been repeatedly done to my kids vehicles. Not very convenient for the working man who needs their transportation.
