I called about a part, I was transferred to a national call center while driving. They did not have it in stock but they emailed the part number to me. As a former parts manager, do your self a favor and have the model number handy for your machine. Otherwise its sort of like going to a McDonalds and telling them you want a sandwich.
I had to call 3 times to see if tech was still coming. Appt. was 1-5 & tech arrived at our home after 7 p.m. Spent most of his time on the phone trying to diagnose then told me it would be almost $600 for new resin & resin container or I could try some of the water softener cleaner & hope for the best? I bought the cleaner & called a local water softener repair person for a second opinion. He cleaned the filter in back so the water could properly drain in the water tank & the softener seems to be working fine. I now have 2 service calls. I want to be refunded my Sears service call & will be disputing the charge if it is not refunded. Your technician did absolutely nothing to fix the problem on my water softener which was the tank was not draining properly. He did not have the training to complete the repair & I do not want to pay for a service that was not provided. I will pay for the cleaner, so please credit my account for the service call immediately. Thank you for your prompt reply to let me know that I have been refunded,
