Great service tech in Josh....very efficient and timely in getting both electrical and plumbing done in one visit.
Technician was knowledgeable and efficient. Everyone was friendly and helpful.
Zach repaired our shower and fixed gas leaks near our water heater and furnace. He also gave us information about other repairs/upgrades we may want to make in the future. I was very happy with his service.
Good service! Fast and friendly!
Great service, fair and honest. We appreciated their quick response and great communication.
They have always been good to us! I called before lunch told them no rush but they came before 16:00. We had electrical problems in our bathroom that was fixed within minutes. Technician was polite and very professional, just wished he had worn a mask.Thank you for great service and work.
Thank you for the prompt and professional business.
I realized over a weekend that my air conditioner (30 years old) was starting to fail and both my heating and cooling systems needed replaced. I requested a quote on a Saturday night and it was a couple thousand dollars cheaper than an equivalent system from Home Depot that had been quoted earlier in the day. I accepted the quote on Sunday and they installed Monday morning. They were on time, professional, and worked hard all day to get my new air conditioner and furnace installed and running. I am very pleased with the company.
We had not previously used Christian Electric but had heard good things. Furnace issue diagnosed and resolved the same day after another reputable company failed to show the day before. Zach was our tech and was exceptional. We have found our new “go to” company!
Ive used these guys several times for various home remodel and repair work. They arrive on time and work all day getting your job done. They are sometimes a bit expensive in how they price things, but if you talk to the owner, Chad Christian, he will work with you for the best deal that fair for all and affordable for you. Estimates are normally not fee, trip charge is about $85 and will count towards any repair work you may have done. They have done AC, plumbing, wiring / electrical, rood, gutter, and construction work for me. The crew does good work and tries their best to not make messes and cleans up as much as they can at the end of each day, but messes are expected in any type remodel. So they do a good job. I will use them again as needed. I recommend them for your home repair needs.
Ron did a great job in replacing an old light that was installed by previous owners, decades ago, that signals the well pump is running. That light has alerted me in the past to broken barn water hydrants and water left running over filling horse tanks. The house was built in 1875 so Ron had a challenge replacing the wiring and small light. It works great - they left no mess behind. Just a working light shows they were there.
Rob did an excellent quick and efficient job on our water pressure problem. He got us up and running in no time. He was friendly and courteous. You just cant ask much more than that. Appreciate it greatly!
Twice I have called them on either a weekend or Friday afternoon with a heating or AC issue, both times they came in less than an hour and fixed the problem. I have also had them do some other electrical work at my house and they have always done a good job and their prices are reasonable. Never to they try to sell me on some service plan or new heating or AC equipment. They are just good honest people to work with.
We have used Christian Electric for several projects on our property and have always done an exceptional job! We have other projects and will call Christian Electric for all our electrical needs! Good hard working companies are hard to find so I dont mind leaving a positive review to help others find exceptional service too!
Great job. Very timely. Not an easy fix but my serviceman Dean kept at it until he had everything fixed. Appreciate his help. Thanks again Dean.
Whats good to say about them .
If it were at all possible to give zero stars, I would. I do not recommend using any of their myriad of services. If you make the misfortune of having to, I can assure that it will end poorly.
Excellent work!! They have always been here the next day. On the hot water heater, they called to make sure we had hot water. It was just leaking, or they were coming here to fix it the same Day. Great service guys!!!
Just really nice people, they answer the phone when you call, no answering machine. Do good job!!!
Great experience fast service, had my air working in a hour, and with COPD and Cancer that was very important also work with me on the payment, highly recommend
Drew and his team did a great job upgrading my house to a 200 amp service. The end result looks very professional and clean. Thanks.
Fast, friendly and efficient with their work. Highly recommend.
Cevin Is a great technician at his age very impressed!
Called them for a broken water pump in our heating system. Ok, it was during the recent cold spell, after two days they showed up. It took them an hour to confirm that our pump did not work, and a pressure valve was broke, which was obvious due to the lime build up, and it was dripping. Then it took another two days to order and pick up the parts. We got charged $45 for that. Amazon ships cheaper overnight! To install the pump they had to empty the heating system, of course. Our furnace has a drain valve in plain sight, what did they do? They let the water out into our basement, and just left, after the pump was installed. After discovering our flooded basement, I called and they sent one of their workers to correct THEIR mess. Guess what? It cost us $85 just to have their mess cleaned up.When they sent the bill, it was dated two days before any work was done, payable on that day! 10 days after the billing date, six days after the work was completed we got charged 3% late fee.Would I recommend this company to my enemies? No! Let alone to my friends.
Im very satisfied with the service I received from Christian Electric. Adrian is very professional friendly person.
Very quick and accurate service from Drew at Christian Electric...he even told me about other services at their company...highly recommended for Shelbyville residents
Fast affordable and did everything I asked.
Zack does a great job, very knowledgeable.
On time, friendly and efficient. Left work area clean.
Matt did a good job
I got stuck with Christian Electric as a result of a home warranty that gave me no choice over contractor when my AC units were freezing up. I would highly recommend against using Christian Electric for any HVAC needs. We got off to a bad start with poor communication. I wont even get into those details, as its nothing compared to the actual service complaints. The two techs that came out were friendly and I have no personal issue with them, but they didnt have much expertise in what they were doing. One tech struggled to get the basement furnace/blower door off (brand new model - not that hard to remove) and then he didnt put it back on correctly. Then he couldnt figure out why the thermostat wouldnt operate (because the safety switch wasnt pressed down on the blower door). They didnt know how to operate the basic Honeywell programmable digital thermostat. I had to explain that when you put it on permanent hold it means its holding at the temp you set. They also didnt understand what wait meant on the thermostat when the compressor wouldnt kick on (because they turned it off and back on repeatedly too fast). They just poked and prodded around, really having no clue what they were doing. In the unit I have in the attic, it was the same thing. It was like they had never seen a furnace like mine before in an attic. They didnt know what the safety switch wire was to protect against water accumulating in a tray underneath the unit (since its in the attic...logic would tell you its bad if water drips from the attic into your house). On the outside compressor units, the tech did not follow good safety procedures and one of the units fired up while he had the fan off and propped up precariously against the house. It could have hurt him or worse fallen off and broken because it was not secured well.Their solution was to tape the crap out of my inside units claiming air leaks were probably at fault and they charged the attic unit with some Freon. The downstairs unit continued to freeze over and when another contractor came out, they found it was low on Freon, which a basic Google search will tell you should have been Step 1 in the troubleshooting process.Hopefully Christian Electric is better with electrical issues, but for HVAC this company is a joke.
Impressed. Simply, impressed with this company.
Installers threw on umarked breakers that were not feeding the furnace and nearly caused electrical injury. Installers didnt know an electrical circuit and I had to troubleshoot circuit for them. Installers did not seal furnace - was losing alot of air and heat into garage. Installers wired the A/C with the furnace so everytime furnace kicked on (in below zero weather) the A/C kicked on. Installers agreed before performing work that company would bill us and then we could pay. Owner (Chad Christian) then threatened to rip out new furnace if didnt pay on the spot. Owner then also rudely dismissed every complaint that furnace was not heating house (when it was wired wrong). Took 36 hours and alot of dealing with attitude from owner to get that fixed. Lastly, because it has taken 7 days (which includes weekend and holiday) to pay the invoice, owner calls and rudely berates me for not paying yet while at the same time berating me for responding with all this same feedback to a feedback request email they sent me. Then that night, after paying them, (7 days after getting it working) brand new furnace wont run. -13 degrees out before windchill and they wont send someone out until tomorrow, we are freezing.
No fuss electricians, got out same day and helped me with a clutch situation.
