This used to be my favorite nail salon in Kansas City - I got my wedding nails done here. Today I had an awful experience. As you can see my cuticle on my big toe was cut pretty bad and it burned during the pedicure. The toenails were not cut or filed evenly and they look terrible. The manicure was even worse. Poor attention to detail when doing the cuticle. The third and fourth finger look awful - too many coats were applied (it looks like a child did it). The manicurist was distracted and not paying attention. I informed them about the inconsistency with the nails and they filed the cuticles more but the damage could not be fixed. When asking for how much tip I said $10 and they charged $20. Unfortunately now I will have to get everything redone and this was for my brothers wedding. I will not be returning. I used to recommend everyone go to this salon but will now need to find a better salon. I’m very disappointed.

Very nice salon. No appointment necessary. I got a manicure & pedicure. Arm & hand massage was great. The foot and leg massage was wonderful. When they bring out the hot towels for your legs, they bring two & wrap each leg. Much nicer than salons that lay one towel across both legs.

Called and then came in for a broken nail fix. Shouldve kept my money and waited for monday morning. The fixed nail is a half inch shorter than my other nails. Hastily done. When filed, my fixed nail edge was filed raw. Speaking of which, a rough bit drill was used on my NATURAL NAIL. Could hardly understand them, their English needs some polishing. Uncomfortable foreign chatter between statements to me in english, making it further harder to understand when being spoken to.

I really like this salon. Kelly and her mom Kathy do a great job. I get my nails dipped and they always turn out beautiful. Plus, the ladies are very pleasant. Just a nice place to go.

They treat us like part of their family. We came in one night 30 minutes before we realized that they were closing. No hesitation, they told us to come on in!!

Literally the quickest and worst manicure of my life. At $20 I would expect some customer service. Didn’t ask what shape I wanted, started to use an electric file on my NATURAL nail and rushed through it all. It’s like she was rushing so she could be on her phone. Also made me bleed and didn’t acknowledge it at all. I should have know better when I walked in and saw their color selection which was non existent and gross looking. A couple years ago I came and had a great experience (I don’t live in the area anymore) so I figured a simple manicure would be ok. My nails are also rough because they weren’t filed well. Avoid at all costs.

I AM SO ANGRY!! I CAME TO THIS SHOP TO GET MY NAILS DONE BEFORE A FUNERAL AND THEY CLOSED EARLY!!! I EVEN HAD AN APPOINTMENT!! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! I made an appointment for three people. The store closed at 7 oclock when I had an appointment for 7, even though their business card says they close at 8. I WILL NOT be back!!

I have been going to Regal Nails for about two-three months now and I have never loved a nail place like i love this salon. All of the girls work magic!!!! Not only they are amazing at what they do, but very organized and professional. They always greet their guest with smile friendly!!!Prices are awesomeMake sure to call to make an appointment since theyre always super busy!!

Only gave a 4 star because it depends on who provides the service on whether its a great experience or just an OK one. Everyone can be friendly, but customer service isnt this salons strong suite. Honestly, for the price, and amazing service Kayla provided, I will gladly return. I am a regular customer with her. The owners are nice people, dont get me wrong. And almost all the nail techs there have their own set of regulars, it just so happens that I prefer to go to Kayla for my hands. They do take appointments which is nice. I would say, give it try and experience it yourself.

The nail lady complimented my hands, she was a little rough, but she was really nice. And she did a decent job. For being in a Walmart, this place was alright.

I have been coming here for 5 years. The laid back, family atmosphere gives a great vibe. You completely forget that youre inside of a Wal-Mart. I love that from day one the staff have remembered my face, name, personal details that I have shared. I see that with other regulars as well. They go the extra mile to make you feel special. I wont get my nails done anywhere else!

Love this place!Decided to try this place and it did not disappoint! Lots recommend to call for an appointment so I made sure to do so. My sister got a beautiful nude full set. Such a cute lady, she really took her time with my pedi but was fast at the same time and did a beautiful job on my gel mani.My sister and I will be coming back for sure!

They were alright.. But one of my nails is cut with a slant and the lady didnt seem like she wanted to be there and rushed through doing mine. The acrylic hangs off the site on a couple of my nails and she missed most of the sides. I went here to get my nails done for prom and i heard good reviews and thought Id give it a try.. I am very disappointed with them

Andrew is my go to nail guy, I go to him faithfully every 2 weeks. The prices can not be beat. I have tried SEVERAL nail salons in the Kansas City area and have yet to find one that beats this place.

The guy who did my nails was distracted the whole time. I’ve had my nails for a week and they are already coming off. And my nails typically last 2-2.5 weeks. I am VERY disappointed. Waste of 45$!

Very Very bad.. I mean by it .. not at all worth of my money.. I walked in around 6.40 on a Friday to the salon and the closing time is at 8, the girl who was assigned to do my nails telling its already time, I have to leave. and she worked on my hands within 5mins .. in a rude expression.. is that how the manicure s done, and she assigned my spa pedicure to the other girl, and asking me to pay the bill before my service just to check how much tip I give to her.. ridiculous.. and spa pedicure was the worst she dint Even give a good massage just wiped off my leg with scrub n soap.. so unprofessional.. very bad experience.. only good thing is back massage on the pedicure chair.

*****Before receiving services at Regal Nails please read.***** By far the worst experience I have had. Went in for a pedicure and the lady cut the corner of my toe off with the cuticle cuters. Not just knicked, but cut it wide open. Left a flap of skin hanging. Blood was literally pouring out of my toe. They then proceeded to try to try and treat the open wound with a bottle of green solution with Chinese writing. I had to ask her to stop because I would need to tell the medical professionals who were going to have to treat it what had been applied. I am currently treating the nail to try to prevent infection. Unfortunately the way the I was cut it could not be stitched up. A formal complaint with the state has been filed. Please please consider using another nail salon before going here.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. I have been getting my nails done consistently for 7 years and I have never had such a bad experience.Since March when my regular place closed, I have been trying to find a new nail salon. I decided to try Regal Nails simply because it’s closer to my house than the other place I’ve been going. What a mistake.The prices are typical of other salons. $35 for powder dip and $25 for a pedicure, but the workmanship of the techs is subpar.I left with nail polish on my skin on the sides of my big toes, but compared to the horrible powder dip job on my nails, that was the least of my concerns. The tech filed too much in the middle of the nail and not enough on the top and bottom which made ripples. In fact, she filed so much in some areas, the powder was much thinner so the color looked faded in those areas. I asked the tech to fix them, which she did, but they still didn’t look the best. I left frustrated and very dissatisfied.I decided to go back the next day and ask the tech to fix them again since I paid good money for the service and was not satisfied. She did attempt to smooth out the waves that were still in the powder, but the quality of the repair job was still not as good as I am used to. The powder is thick and uneven over many of my nails. At best, my nails were ok. I figured I could live with it for a few weeks until I have regrowth and it’s time to get them redone. When I left, I knew I’d never be a repeat customer.Well, today is day 2 since I had my nails done at Regal Nails and I will be going back for a second repair. When I went to have the ripples in the powder to be removed yesterday, instead of using the activating top coat for powder dip, the tech used a gel top coat. I know other salons do this also, but I was told once by another nail tech that it is not a proper top coat for powder dip. Regardless, my nails were nice and shiny....that is until this morning when the gel coat starting peeling. I have had gel nails many times in the past and I have never had this happen before. If I can share photos with this review, I will.I’m half tempted to go to another nail salon, have this horrible powder dip taken off and start over.

A friend of mine frequents Regal Nails and recommended it to me. I went and was waited on immediately, which I liked. Then a woman came over who looked liked she was either irritated or tired. As she was cutting my toenails, which are thick and sometimes tough to cut (I understand), she pulled a piece of nail out and my toe began bleeding. Her son was standing next to her and said Mommy, her toe is bleeding., to which she responded She wait too long to come in. I was irritated and in pain but tried to be understanding since I had waited so long to get my feet done. Then I watched, in envy, as another customer received a deep, detailed massage on her calves and feet, and I received a brief application of scrub and lotion. But my irritation was fully realized when, after leaving her a tip, I got home and saw that shed smeared polish above and on the side of a few of the nails while polishing them, but didnt remove it with polish remover. I accept my blame in not examining my feet before I left, but promise I will never go there again.

I purchased a gift certificate for my wife. When I picked it up I asked how much for toes and fingers done with gel and the guy told me the price. So that is what I got. My wife goes today to get them done with the gift certificate and it ends up being $11 more. They lie to you so be carful. This is not how you run a business and lie to people. We will never do business with this place again. Very disappointed.

Got white tips put on yesterday and they turned yellow the next day. So I went back in and they filed them down and then painted over the white tips and after that put a clear coat on. Sorry to say they do a crappy job and they look terrible.

I have cut skin on most of my right foot .and now fear infection .not good for a 70 year old .i dont see a place to post pictures or I would .my nails on my hands were gel and many parts not even covered. nice people terrible experience .
