My first introduction to this salon was when I walked in on a whim to get my eyebrows waxed. Pang did a great job and did exactly what I asked. (I had very thin eyebrows and asked her to just clean them up and shape them, as I was letting them grow.) Shes super sweet and professional and the charge was only $12. I then set an appointment with Rhea to get my hair to a platinum from light brown hair. Ive asked several stylists to do this for me in the past and noone has ever been able to achieve the color I wanted. Rhea did that for me by doing baby lights and I couldnt be happier with how it turned out! She also turned me on to the products to maintain the health and color of my hair. Something else I love about this salon is how personable the ladies are, they really seem to care about their clients! Thanks, ladies! I came in with an idea and came out with fabulous hair. I wanted to transition from blonde to pink hair. But Rhea of Comforte Salon knows better. She suggested to color my hair gray instead as she thinks it goes well with my tanned complexion. She knows what she’s doing, and she’s very good at it! A real gem in Shawnee. Highly recommended. My first time to try the curly hair smooth out and eyebrow tint with Rhea’s recommendation. She did a wonderful job of shaping up my eyebrows neatly and have tinted them so well that it looked so natural! Also, I couldnt be happier with how my hair turned out after the curly hair smooth out. I definitely recommend this place if you want to get your eyebrows done and for a curly hair smooth out treatment. Rhea is an amazing hairstylist and all around beauty expert.

I was really satisfied with my experience here in Comforte Salon and traveled an hour and half for this. It was all worth it!! Rhea Ko, Asian hairstylist, was my hairstylist and she was great and accommodating. She did my Bob haircut (Asian/Korean haircut) and eyebrow waxing. I just had my first experience at Comforte and it was totally worth the drive! I have always moved every 2-3 years for the last 13 years so I’ve never really been able to establish a relationship with a hair stylist. I’ve always had trouble finding someone who felt comfortable cutting Asian hair as well. However, we are here to stay in the area and so I began my quest to find someone I really liked. I believe I have found the salon! It is clean and so cute inside! I had a 2pm appointment and I was out by 3pm, which is awesome since I have long, thick, Asian hair that usually takes over an hour to cut and style! The owner is so friendly and she did such a great job with my hair. I definitely recommend Comforte salon especially if you have Asian hair!

I’m in town from Arizona visiting my Mom. Neither of us have had a haircut in over a year due to the pandemic, and we were looking for a quality, professional stylist. We researched shops in the area and came across Comforte Salon and were so happy we gave it a try! Rhea and Phang were amazing! We both received a great cut and style and they were both so personable, and attentive to our requests while providing their expertise to ensure we had a cut that suited our face and style. The cost was VERY reasonable. My mom will definitely be going back and I may have to fly back from Arizona just to get my haircut when it’s time!

I’m very fortunate, Ms. Rhea Ko cut my hair just want i wanted to be.She has the knowledge, skills and experienced that I’m looking for a hairstylist.I have a thin hair and always on the go. A person does not have time to fix my hair often. I ask her to cut my hair a bob cut, for me to easily manage my hair and bob cut was her specialty.Rhea ko is very professional and answer my questions reasonably. Its good she has a lot of patient to answer all my questions.In terms of a place, i have to choose a hair salon that will be a five star treatment because of the pandemic and i don’t want to jeopardize my health. The place was 5 star when it comes to cleanliness and sanitation. The bathroom as well was cleaned for me to give a shout out.When regards to the price, the price is right that worth of paying because of the knowledge, skills and experienced as well as the place and what products she uses to my hair.I definitely recommend this hair salon, unfortunately, does not have a time to do my hair color and definitely come back soon.

She knows how to handle my type of hair which is really fine and had a good idea of what I needed after showing her some photos for inspiration. I see Sandy every two weeks for my gel nails appointment! She is fantastic, and can do exactly what you want. She has become such an amazing friend, and I genuinely look forward to my time with her. I do recommend making an appointment for your next one before you leave because she books up fast! She’s the best!

I never even got to step foot in the door to try their services out. I booked an appointment online to get my nails done ONE WEEK in advance. So the week goes by and the night before I get a text that says “so and so is out of town and we’re cancelling your appointment”. I asked if someone else could do it, and they said she was the only one that did nails. Maybe I’m just bitter because it was my birthday weekend, but they didn’t even bother to call me or offer to reschedule... it seems like (from reading other reviews too) they’re disorganized and not really interested in gaining new clients.

Phoenix did a great job on my hair! Hes very willing to listen to what you want and work with you to get the style you like. This isnt true for a lot of hair stylists. Hes always been super nice and always takes his time to make sure youre happy. Hes awesome! The owners of the salon are also very nice, and the salon itself is very cute!

I took my 2-year-old daughter with me to get our nails done (pedicure for me and just a paint on my daughter’s toenails and fingernails). The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The owner’s two daughters did our nails, and they very professional and did a great job! I am looking forward to going back for a hair cut and/or nails again. I would definitely recommend this! P.S. Since the younger daughter did my daughter’s nails she didn’t charge us for her nails. So sweet!

Patrick is one of the best stylist that have ever cut my hair and always makes me feel warm and invited.

I went in today because I was exploring the area for a new regular place. The owner ended up giving me a spa pedicure. She was answering the phone the entire time she was working on me, I was trying to be extremely nice but at the end I felt like she was too distracted to do a good job. I didn’t even want my nails painted I just wanted my feet cleaned up and really well filed and there was a lot of dead skin left over around my nails that she didn’t get. Even after I mentioned it she wouldn’t fix it, it seemed like she was trying to hurry on to her next customer. She didn’t even trim my toenails even after I mentioned it, they didn’t even get filed. Also the website said a spa pedicure was $40 and she charged me $45. She also seemed annoyed that I didn’t leave her a tip. I felt like the service was very uneven. There was one leg she massaged for a long time & the other one didn’t really get touched, I just found this to be odd- I will definitely not be back I think it was a waste of money and not a very good job at all. It’s really annoying to pay that much for a pedicure and to have to come home and fix it up yourself.

I LOVE Comforte Hair and Nail Salon! I have gotten several pedicures here and this salon exceeds my expectations each time. The atmosphere is fabulous - it looks like a boutique with super cute furnishings and decor. Rhea does such a great job on your nails - she really takes the time to meticulously care for my feet. And the polish doesnt chip! I also love that you can book appointments online and receive confirmation text messages. Ive been so pleased with this salon and dont plan on going anywhere else. I wasnt impressed with my first visit today- for a pedicure. When I arrived there were two women working on a clients hair. NOBODY there talked to me. I was trying to ask if I needed an appointment for services or if walk ins were welcomed. Eventually someone helped me-neither of the two women working near the door. I had to fill out paperwork and they had to enter it before anyone talked to me. I then had to have a seat while she had to get set up for me. I had taken my own polish in with me and its a good thing- the selection there is minimal. The pedicure area has bench seating- not the massaging chairs we are all grown accustomed to. No relaxing and reclining back. Akward and weird. The scrub part of the pedicure was incredibly painful and Im not sensitive to that kind of thing. The pedicure itself was nothing to write home about. The most minimal pedicure Ive ever had. When I paid- with a gift card, they didnt want to give me the card back- the card still had $50.00 remaining on it. I had to prove that I had more money left on it- The only way I could do that is by showing the envelope with the salespersons writing on it. My husband later told me that he made the salesperson write on the envelope. Im not looking forward to returning to use the remainder of the gift card. There is another nail salon in the same shopping center- I much prefer it there.

Never again!!I went in for a Deva Cut. Which on the phone making the appointment (never been there before) Rhea Ko assured me she was able to do it and that their Deva cut stylist wasnt there. Who I had requested due to there website stating Tashia was Certified Devacu. She said it a little low and unsteady but I thought maybe being low-key b/c clients were there. My hair walking in was in the middle of my back. Leaving, to my shoulders aaand I basically have a rattail! Hairs uneven, gaps in my hair from her technique of Deva cut! She used my hair as practice. #Devacut #guinea pig #beware

So i dont write on reviews cause im not a complainer at all but i wish i had someone warn me if they had a bad experience and had there hair ruined, so i bought a Groupon for a partial highlight, cut and style at comforte salon with rhea and i told her exactly what i wanted had a picture and said how to do it and im a cosmetologist so it was very clear and my hair got destroyed which really upset me cause ive been tryin to get my hair really healthy and long again so i only wanted my roots done and she ended up givin me grey highlights i asked for icy blonde baby lights only on my roots blended and my hair didnt look much different now i had grey highlights whitch was the opposite of blonde.So i went back in the next day and so i was like i need my hair toned back to blonde and actual blonde in my roots caus i never color my hair and rhea wasnt wanting to actual put blonde in my hair i paid 80$ for the groupon and a extra 60$ for olaplex and that is something that helps your hair repair from the damage of bleach. Rhea ended up puttin more blonde in and dont get me wrong she was a very sweet and nice lady but i had to go home tone more of the grey out of my hair and my haircut is long on one side and short on the other i only wanted bout half of an inch cut to. My hair so damaged its never been this awful and looks like it can just break idk what she did but ive gotten olaplex and blonde in my hair for years and never ended up this damaged even after i did conditioning treatments on it i had to cut alot off myself. I sound like im bitchen and im not like that but my hairs damaged and my money was waisted to just damaged my hair even more and i had to spend more money to get it fixed and some what healthier again. Rhea was super sweet and really nice and i dont mean to harsh on her but i just would never recommend getting hair done there to anyone.
