Its a ok place its ready weird how its set up because its on a down hill so everything is slanted. Besides the slopping its a pretty ok place.

The attendant who processed my payment was so very nice and exceptionally thorough at making sure that I was thoroughly satisfied and that I had no problems with my account at the Public Storage facility on Hedge Lane in Shawnee, Kansas. I sure wish I could remember her name. The transaction took place on Tuesday May 4th, 2021 around 4:30 PM.She also made sure that I was aware that I could use my smartphone to open the gate to access my storage unit and showed me how to install the app. I have my account number and gate code stored in notes on my phone, but this will be such an easy way to get to my storage unit. Very wonderful experience at Public Storage today.

Very very very rude lady. It’s like you are putting her out by being there. Will never return! Also she likes to lock the door so she can do whatever she wants and you have to wait and continuously knock to get her to finally answer. Also this is during business hours and not lunch time either.

Worst customer service. Not there at posted times and trying to get anyone to answer the phone locally or corporate was an exercise in futility.

Rude, website won’t consistently allow payments and they push for automatic payments, but I have to regularly replace my credit card after using it here, so I refuse, resulting in absurd fees. High rates and terrible service. Will never use again.

Man, Cassy was super helpful and nice. She really knows her storage I wanted a big unit but only have a few things to store, she got me into a smaller unit for a better price and promotion. She tried to sell me some moving supplies but I don’t need anything. They have a ton of moving supplies!!! Go to public storage if you need any boxes. I will be recommending this storage to everyone. Cassey is such a sweetheart. She showed me 3 units in this cold weather. And I ended up needing the first one she showed me so we had to walk all the way back to the first one and she had no trouble doing it and smiled the whole time. I’m so satisfied with this facility. Even though I don’t need a storage until next month. I’m happy she showed me my options.

I visited public storage on Hedge Lane today to check out prices on storage space. The Manager Barbara showed me three spaces, I couldnt make up my mind but she never got upset or with an attitude. All she said was no problem, its my job with a smile. I told her I had to discuss it with my husband and that I would get back with her. Her customer service was great!

Courtney manages the location and has been super helpful explaining my different options and and pricing. She is really an asset and benefit to this location. My review is in three parts, and together it constitutes what I call a five-star experience. The first part was requesting a storage unit online and going down there to check in. The online process was a snap and the check-in guy (whose name I cant recall) was efficient and pleasant. I rented a 10x30 unit to store my boat on a trailer and some other stuff, but didnt bring the boat with me when I went down to complete the paperwork. It was dark and cold, so I completed the forms and left, figuring Id park the trailer at the storage unit later. Well, when I went back to put the boat in storage, it took an hour of maneuvering before I reluctantly conceded that there was no way for me to back the trailer into the unit Id rented because the security pad/post that you use to exit the property was smack-dab in the way (they gave me the unit closest to the front gate, which when I initially checked in seemed awesome for its convenience). The next day, I called down to the office and asked for a new unit. This is part two of my review -- the bad part. The person I spoke with said Id received a web only price, and that the unit was not transferable even if I could not use it. Further, this person said, I could not get a refund since Id already signed all the paperwork. Frustrated, I asked for this persons managers name and number... And thats when things got good again. The district manager, Kyle, called me back and apologized, saying he would open up the back end of the unit so I could put my trailer in from the other side -- the side without a keypad post in the way -- and that hed even throw in a free lock for this other door, just for my inconvenience. Happy to hear this, I went back down and parked the boat/trailer in mere moments. The unit is perfect sized for what I needed, and Kyles quick moves to remedy my initial problem wont soon be forgotten. I highly recommend this place for convenient location, cleanliness and lighting, and most of all friendly management.

Went to pay Public Storage to pay bill this morning, was glad to see Manager Barbara had returned back to work from being sick. Much better since new management has taken over! Beware of the scam from cooperate though...Your 12 page contract clearly states they can change your rate at any time. They claim to notify you, but we never received any for $40 monthly increase!

Rented a unit at this location to store a vehicle. Barbara realized the unit reserved for me would be difficult to access with the vehicle and helped get me a better unit with access while tow truck was dropping the vehicle off. She was a great help and very nice! I would definitely use this location again!

We went to public storage on Hedge Lane Saturday, my brother and I, he rented a storage unit. A week ago the manager Barbara made him a reservation. He called her everyday, it probably would have gotten on my nerves, but it did not seem to bother her. When we got there and he said who he was, she said Oh Mr. Minnesota and said his phone number. It was so funny we all laughed. She showed him the storage unit and he did all the paperwork. She was so nice and patience and I really appreciate how she was able to help him with his needs. Me and my husband went to Public Storage last week to rent a storage space, we were a couple hours late. Barbara the manager was doing work outside, we told her we were sorry for being so late. She stopped working and showed us the space, afterwards we did the paperwork. Her customer service was courteous, professional and very welcoming. The store was very clean inside & out.
