This salon is by far my favorite!!! I’m totally new in the city and was super nervous to get my hair done but after seeing my results I have found my favorite place!!! I had Hatsumi do my hair and she was phenomenal! Her hands are magic! After showing her what I wanted she did it exactly as pictured! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!!!

Courtney AKA the vintage lady was super helpful and she did magic on my balayage. She cares about details and it was worth the hours and $$ spent there. 100% matched my expectations on color, cut and hair styling. Definitely I’d recommend anyone to check this place and I’ll be visiting myself again for sure. The ambience and the place by itself has got its vibe. Friendly staffs and faster checkin/checkout.

Such a great salon- great service and I alway look great! Christopher is especially genius with my short hair- cutting it in a way that grows out well too- I look great the whole time between appointments! I feel very safe with their covid protocols, and appreciate all they do to keep their staff and clients safe and healthy!

Honestly the best place Ive found for curly hair in Seattle so far. I havent had a bad experience yet. The staff is always so friendly, open, and easy to talk to. I never have a problem getting my needs met in regards to my hair, and they always go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and understood.

Ive seen Aspen twice and she did an amazing job on both color and cut! She is very knowledgeable, answering all my questions about upkeep and maintenance on new styles/colors I was considering, which is super important when switching things up. I decided on a more natural look, but Ive seen her work with non-traditional color combinations and they are fire! The salon itself is very clean, staff is helpful, and they have high quality stylists at every level to meet your financial needs. 10/10 going back

I got a shampoo, cut and blow dry. My hair stylist was Courtney who was very professional, amicable and knowledgeable. She described what each product was, and allowed me to choose whether or not I wanted it. She was very mindful that I wanted to maintain the length of my hair. She made sure to show me how much was being cut off in the back before she actually cut it. Id definitely come back for a styling appointment.Vann Studio does things quite refreshingly different compared to other places - they have a complimentary scalp and shoulder massage with shampoo service and it is a no tip salon.I highly recommend this place and Courtney!

I had the opportunity to go for the first time to this place and I was so happy with the outcome! I went in for a balayage treatment and a inverse bob haircut and my stylists name was Charley! He was amazing! super friendly, very knowledgeable and he did an outstanding work! Ive received many compliments on my hair! 100% recommend this place!

Vann Studio is the best salon I have been to. Christopher Archiopoli creates sublime looks with loving care. Part of that is because he *listens* to what you want and focuses on you until you almost believe youre the most important person in the world in that moment. The staff are courteous and kind, and the cleaning protocols are above and beyond. If you have a chance to get your beauty on at Vann Studio, you should definitely take it.

This place in fantastic, my husband showed me them first and I keep on coming back because the folks are REALLY nice and take good care of ya. My parents ruined my hair but they were able to salvage it just fine. I am eternal customer now.

Really liked the vibe of this salon. Danielle was my stylist and she was super nice and made me feel comfortable. Wow, such a wonderful experience getting a haircut at Vann Studio with Dani (Danielle).The front desk staff were really nice when booking my appointment, and helpful when I had to reschedule to a different time.Dani asked questions to understand what I wanted, was super friendly during the entire session, and gave me the best haircut of my life! I have never been so happy with a haircut before, ever. I usually dont go back to a stylist more than once, but I think I finally found my permanent stylist in Seattle! So happy with this experience. I asked for layers and face framing so that I would have more shape and volume.I look forward to going back to Dani for future haircuts and colours!

I was surprised that I was told at checkout there is no tipping.I felt like Danielle deserved tipping so I gave a a tips but I was not happy that they charged me extra $5 for some product they used on my very thin and short hair. I have long, straight hair and she made some awesome recommendations to take some of the heaviness out by lightening/texturizing and updating the framing layers around my face. So happy with my haircut and it was very reasonably priced! Everyone at the studio was so friendly as well. Will definitely come again.

Good cut, great price, really professional staff. The only downside was that I was misgendered by my stylist, who was immediately apologetic when I corrected them, which I appreciated.

This was my first time at Vanns Studio and was a bit apprehensive (I usually am before getting a haircut from someone for the first time). Soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the host and my stylist Dani took me to her station. I was on time she was on time. I had something in mind (lots of layers), had pictures to show, she listened and I felt at ease. I have a lot of hair, its wavy/frizzy and am particular about how to style. Dani was awesome. She took her time styling my hair, care to how they came out and I loved the cut. I left the salon feeling great! It is hard to find a good stylist and I am already thinking about my next appointment. Highly recommend!

Vann Studio is always super clean, their front staff is really helpful and friendly and the products they use at this salon are more natural based and smell really good. I have been following my hairdresser around Seattle over the past 3 years, he ended up at this salon which I feel is a really good fit for him and I really enjoy the vibe of the salon. Chill, they play good music and they have cool art - a really cool historic building too.

I got a hair cut and partial highlights with my hairstylist Hatsumi. I cut almost a foot of hair off and Hatsumi was fantastic and put a lot of care into getting the style I wanted. She took her time discussing with me the exact tone of the highlights and mixed up different colours that looked great in the end. She even stayed later after the salon closing hours when we ran over, never rushed, and made sure I was happy with the result. Would definitely recommend working with her in the future :)

I went to Aspen and she was terrific! I had been growing out my hair for 2 1/2 years to donate. Aspen was very careful when saving my hair. She started by dividing my hair into 4 ponytails and then cut each one only after making sure they were all the same length. She then went back and masterfully finished my cut and style. My long bob looked and continues to look fabulous. Do not hesitate to have Aspen cut your hair. I felt very safe with respect to COVID precautions and I love the fact that the tip is included in the price. Thank you Aspen and Vann Studio.

Ive been working with Charley and it feels SO good to love my hair again after months of quarantine-inflicted neglect. My hair is naturally dark brown, and I wanted a red-ish auburn look. After a complimentary touch up, he really nailed the color and got it just how I wanted without any bleach. Christopher also helped us with the color during the touch up and he was awesome too. Amazing salon! Been going for 4 years. Christopher is able to make this brunette look like a natural redhead! Hes also helped me grow my hair from a pixie cut to past my shoulders, which is not easy to do with thick curly hair!! Staff is friendly, service is impeccable, and I have felt very safe with their Covid protocols.

Last time I was in, Thomas was working at the front desk and was so helpful and sweet. I really appreciated how he made sure I was comfortable and taken care of right when I walked in. I went in the morning of July 4th for a color service. After a consultation with my stylist Dani, we decided to do a two color weaved partial foil. I had an obvious break in color on one side and wanted everything to blend but still get some brightness. She matched my nautral darker blonde beautifully and the blonde is shiny and bright just like I wanted! Thank You Dani for a wonderful salon experience and making me feel like a million bucks!!

Had an amazing experience from start to finish. Thomas was so friendly and helpful, made me feel comfortable and like I belonged from the second I walked into the door. I have gotten many Groupons over the years to figure out the right place for me- and many times have been treated like a discount customer and it is an immediate turn off. I was greeted and offered water right off the bat by Thomas, and got an appointment within two days of purchasing my Groupon. Aspen was AMAZING- I have very fine hair and have a hard time finding someone who can cut it without making it look too thin or like a blunt bubble cut- she took the time to discuss my needs and explain options and her process.Aspen explained the products that were right for me, they are a natural and Affordable line! You Never find that at a salon! Love my haircut, it looks so much healthier and thicker!The facility was clean, super cool and artsy, great location near the market, and felt COVID safe! I will definitely be a regular client here now, and appreciate Aspen and Thomas!!

Since Covid, the salon has upped their cleanliness game, not that it needed to be upped to begin with. I felt very safe when I went in for my most recent appointment. The most expensive service I have payed the result wasn’t that impressive.I have been coming to the salon for over 3 years now. First with Christina and then with Rose. I usually do partial balayage and hair cut. Tree weeks ago I booked an appointment with a new person since Rose wasn’t available ‘’my mistake” Not just the service awful messy, some of the foils were in the floor after she applied and my hair was stuck in my face with the product, when I told her she claim everything as ok.. Lady I’m not just feeling It but I can see it. Also, the service was a lot more expensive of what I usually pay.This photos are 3 weeks after the service but it looks like I haven’t gone to the salon for over 5 months.When I when to talk to her she claims it was partial balayage and If I wanted full was different price.

I originally scheduled my appointment on Groupon at 4:45 but they were unable to do that time and instead had to fit me in at 10 in the morning. It happened to work for me but its an unreliable vehicle of scheduling. I am very happy with my experience overall!

A true pampering experience! I am new to Seattle and have been looking for a new salon. Vann had great reviews and the staff were super helpful when I called to schedule an appointment. At first I thought pricing was a little steep, but considering we are in the heart of downtown and all that is included, I now feel that it is a steal of a deal and you are missing out if you don’t come here.The salon is very tight knit; everyone is kind, friendly, pleasant, and helpful. I have short hair, and a funky do, these can be challenging so it is important to find a stylist that is comfortable with this. If you also have any of the above, or like having fun with your hair, I recommend Rose. She is exceptionally outstanding at what she does and has a stellar personality on top of that. She takes the time to get to know you, your hair, and what you want. She is very welcoming of feedback and tailors your hair to exactly what you want it to be.The salon overall is very straightforward: what you see is what you pay. Additionally, they do offer complimentary edge-ups/touch ups between appointments, just don’t take advantage of this benefit. 😉 No hidden fees or charges, and they are a no-tip salon. If this makes you feel guilty, bring a little cash and donate to their charity jar!

I loved my experience at Vann studio. The minute I walked in, I could tell this was a super posh salon. The staff was very courteous and service was amazing. I have long hair and almost never know what I want in a haircut, except that I want to get rid of my dead ends. My stylist Becca was very patient and listened to exactly what I wanted. She even helped me develop an idea for my hair and provided a recommended timeline for my next visit. I loved my haircut session with her and think I might have found my go to hair stylist in Seattle :)

Awesome experience all around, but I got charged an extra two dollars at the end that I still don’t know what it was for. I had a groupon and my services should have all been included since I didn’t add anything else on. I should have asked at the time, but didn’t think about it until I already left the salon. Outside of this, everyone was super warm, welcoming and helpful!Also, before I went to the salon, I read one review that said they are a no tip salon and have a charity donation jar instead. This was not true in my case (luckily I had cash on me just in case) so if you read that as well, do bring money to tip!

I always am grateful and happy to see Christopher, who not only is a great hair stylist but also a warm-hearted caring human being. When I leave I feel well taken care of and relaxed, a great blessing.

I visited there today.Took a free consultation from Lisa. She is great. The hair color she suggested me worked really well with my complexion. Although I loved her but she was way beyond my budget. Hence, she set me up with Becca, their senior stylist and she really did a great job. I really love the way color has come out. She listened to me and gave me the perfect look. The fact that the color was bleach free, hence the least damage, made me happier. Its a no tip salon. So if you want to tip someone you need to carry some cash. I wish I knew that before.

I don’t think they care about the customers at all they rescheduled my appointment thrice and since I wanted the hair cut for my sisters engagement I had to finally cancel. Very unprofessional experience.Update: the owner herself gave me a call and told me about her situation and also rescheduled me for a sooner date. Looks like I was wrong and they do care about their customers.

I got my hair cut and colored by Aspen and she was amazing! She knew exactly what I wanted, checked in frequently and was realistic about how the color would look right after I got it done and how it may change. I cannot sing enough praises about how much I loved my hair after!

Christopher is one of THE best hair experts you can find in Seattle. He understands my hair so well and a 2 min conversation is literally all it takes for him to know what I want. He is a wizard of colors! All the other stylists and staff are very sweet too. It’s a spotlessly clean, calming, welcoming space that’s glam without being judge-y. Been coming here for the last 5 years and I’ve never had a less than stellar experience!

Toni is a Star! I have been on the lookout for a good yet affordable stylist for a while now and I am going to cling to Toni for dear life.I got a hair cut + full Balayage done at Vann Edge.(Pictures attached). This cost me 190 dollars and I have chest-length hair.Toni spent a good 3.5 hours on my hair painstakingly paying attention to detail. She even included a short scalp head massage while washing my hair! Being naturally dark haired, I didn’t want my highlights to be too loud. Toni gave me the perfect “sun-kissed” look. I also requested for a haircut that gave me layers and bit more volume, Toni complied.At Vanns they use products by Eufora and show you each product they use while explaining what it’s used for. At the end you can choose to purchase a product if you wish.They also do not accept tips which is great! They charge according to the stylist and you don’t feel pressured as a customer.Make sure you call ahead to get a reservation, this place is busy.My only two complaints would be:1. I had called ahead of time and enquired about the rates, the person who answered my call said it would be around 140 dollars, but may vary depending on the hair length and tasks the stylist needed to perform. I wasn’t expecting to pay 50 dollars more than the estimate. But it was still worth it! This place is still more affordable than others in the area.2. Parking is a real pain around here. You can try your luck to find parking near 3rd and Lenora and then walk down. I took almost 30 minutes to find a spot here on a late Sunday afternoon.

I had a great experience here. The staff was both friendly and professional, and the waiting area was cozy with a foot massager, tea, and wine. I went in for a cut that was dramatically different than anything Id done before, and Aspen did an amazing job of walking me through everything I needed to know, and listening to what I was looking for in the cut and highlights. I felt like I was in good hands the whole time which helped me feel relaxed and comfortable, and I couldnt be happier with my pixie cut.

I have curly hair and have had horrible experiences with haircuts in the past, but she sat down with me prior to cutting my hair and asked exactly what I wanted. She listened and gave me the best hair cut I’ve ever received! I will definitely be back!

I found Vann studio through a friend, as I am only in town for a few days but really wanted to get a haircut. Becca took me right away! She was so kind, and made my hair exactly what I wanted. I had showed her a few pictures of the cut I wanted and could tell right away that she has a great eye for it. She used her expertise to give me the cut I wanted and I am so happy with the way it turned out. I think I may fly into Seattle once a year just to see her! Highly recommend this studio!

Best haircut experience I have ever had. I usually walk out of hair salons with my hair blown dry into a helmet shape and way too much product. This stylist did exactly what I asked, gave a great scalp massage, and I left with my hair in a tousled more natural look. I will definitely brave the traffic and parking again to go to this salon. Crazy that its a no-tip salon. Never saw that.

A hidden salon gem in Belltown: Im a noob when it comes to hair coloring of any kind, and the type of person who cries if my lifetime comfort zone cut goes over an inch too short. Luckily Vann Studio has Charley, who is awesome at walking nervous clients cautiously through options and has now been coloring my hair for over a year now.. The studio is clean, professional, and is taking all Covid precautions.

Had such a great experience at this salon! I enjoyed salon’s friendly atmosphere, relaxing music in their lounge room, overall interior design and of course the work that they do. Becca literally saved my hair! I came in with terrible yellow undertones and left with beautiful ashy blonde hair, and she did it in just one appointment. I’m happy I finally found a place and hair colorist who is actually worth returning to. Highly recommend this salon and Becca! 👍

I had a balayage and haircut with Charley. He was very engaging, friendly, and attentive. The salon was clean and properly physically distanced from one stylists chair to the next. This was my first time to this salon and he took his time to get the color and cut right.After a couple of days, I realized that I was not thrilled about my haircut, but I had really liked the balayage. I called and made an appointment with Charley so that he could recut it. What I was most impressed about, was how much time Charley took to fix my hair and get it to the type of cut I was looking for. He never rushed me or made me feel guilty for coming in for a recut. He was professional and went above and beyond to make me happy. I left feeling happy about my cut and so appreciative of Charleys expertise and customer service skills. Hes a wonderful asset to Vann salon. I would highly recommend seeing him!

I have been going to this salon ever since I moved to Seattle about 4 years ago. I see Christopher every time. Originally I chose this Salon based on the reviews I read. The first time I came in with DAMAGED hair. I had previously died my hair blue using a box and over time it ended up fading to grey/green. Christopher and I disused not only what was best for my hair but also something that would fit with my personality and lifestyle. The end result couldnt have been better. The color correction he was able to do in one appointment was honestly shocking. Since then I have been going back to Christopher always with a new inspiration in mind. He is always able to take an idea I have a bring it to life in a way that really fits me.

I had a really great experience at this salon getting my hair cut. I really appreciate how the salon tells you all the products they are using and they make a basket for you afterwards of all the products so you could buy them if you chose to do so. Even though this was the first time I went to this salon, the stylist treated me no differently and made me comfortable. I will definitely be going back here if I need a haircut again while Im here this summer.

Randi is the best. She cuts my hair perfect every time. Ive been to at least 15 other well known barbershops or salons in Seattle over the years, and nobody comes close to the quality haircut that Randi provides.On top of that, the salon itself is great. Staff are very friendly and the rotating artwork is amazing. Hands down the best salon in Seattle! It took me years to find this place. Im so glad to have discovered this gem!

What a great place this is. Royal treatment from the time you walk in, the awesome candy selection, amazing scalp massages, super fresh hot towels for your face, and more. Oh and yea OUT OF THIS WORLD skilled stylists. Ask for Rose she is amazing.

The staff is so warm and friendly. The space is funky and inviting. I get my hair cut by Christopher, and he’s a dream!! He listens, provides amazing service and is exceptional with curly hair.

I’m so glad I went to this salon! It’s hard to find a salon that’s open on Sunday let alone a 5-Star one. I’ve never been to a kinder salon ever and everyone produced such great work. They also make sure you are as comfortable as possible. Christopher was the best! I wish I lived in Seattle so that I could frequent them more.

I had another excellent experience at Vann Studio Salon! Every member of their staff is always very warm and welcoming. I was offered coffee and a place to relax while I waited for my appointment, as I arrived early. Christopher was my stylist this time. Prior to getting started he sat down and spoke with me about what I had in mind for both my cut and color. He was very friendly, extremely knowledgable and listened intently regarding what I wanted.I have purchased two groupons to Vann Studio and absolutely love how each stylist took their time and didnt rush with my hair. I will definitely be back!
