This is my favorite new Salon in all of Seattle. They do hair, facials, brow and lash tinting, waxing, massages and not to mention it is GORGEOUS! The owner is the sweetest man you will ever meet and a shout out to Rebecca ❤️ she is a miracle worker. Plus they have art and jewelry! Couldnt love this place more.

Kyle has cut my hair beautifully for years, but he now has an apprentice named Saba who did an absolutely fantastic and complicated color on my hair! It was so unique that people have been asking me all day who did this!! Shes truly an artist..check her out!

The moment you walk into Amfora salon you can feel the energy shift and your really taken away from all the stress in your day to day life.Kyle and his apprentice Saba are amazing! They made me feel so comfortable and there wasn’t a doubt in my mind that they weren’t having the same vision I was for my hair.Saba did my cut and color as well as some hair treatment and a style. I left there feeling amazing! I have loved my hair and have been styling it daily since having Saba put her artistic touch on it!Though Saba is a apprentice and new to hair she is far from new to creating, painting and sculpting. I enjoyed the conversations we shared and getting to know her in her chair, a place that seems tailored just to her! It’s not often you get to see people doing what they are destined to do, it’s a beautiful thing! Saba’s calling was there and she listened ❤️

A coworker recommended Amfora when I mentioned being overdue for a cut but reluctant to go through the process of finding someone new. KJ was great, Im so grateful for the referral!! He listened to what I wanted and thoroughly assessed my hair and talked me through his plan. My hair feels soooo good again! The salon decor, local hair products (Seven), and customer service were top notch. Thanks KJ! 😊

A picture is worth a thousand words, but what this picture doesn’t say is that I’ve been seeing Kyle for, what, 12 years now? And my hair is perfect every time. His own salon now is incredible! I have moved out of the state years ago, but I still come to Seattle to see Kyle. Truly a standout and I can’t thank him enough for caring for me and my hair for all of these years.

Kyle is a genius when it comes to taking care of all your hair needs. He cares truly about all of his clients and treats them like family.

Kyle was my wedding stylist and I would hire him again in a heartbeat. Everything was very reliable from scheduling to my actual appointments to the big day! I went in for my first trial having a really clear idea of what I didnt want, but not knowing yet what I did want. Kyle was incredibly patient and creative and worked with me to find the perfect style. The coloring he did to match my old grown out ombre to my natural color was spot on (and I love that I can trust the quality of product that he uses is safe and wont damage my hair). And then of course, the day of the wedding he was everything! For as worried as I was about other aspects of the day not going right, I was never worried with Kyle. He was patient and took his time and made sure he kept working until my hair was exactly perfect. And to top it off, it didnt loosen or even shift ALL DAY/NIGHT-- and I wore it for over 12 hours! I would highly recommend him for not only executing a specific vision you have, but also for helping you find your vision if youre unsure!

My friend and I came to get her haircut by Kyle and it was a fantastic experience! He was very knowledgeable about her hair and what kind of color would look best. He even took extra time to touch up some spots after it was all done to satisfy the look he was creating. Highly recommend!

Kyle does an amazing job! He’s helped to go from dark brown to blonde and it looks just incredible. Something I thought would never happen! He’s the best colorist I’ve ever seen. If you need to color up, he’s your guy! Also the space is just so classic.

His salon in Wallingford is clean and beautiful with a calming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Dont hesitate to book with him - you wont be disappointed!

Your experience starts with a gorgeous space—step off busy 45th street into a mellow oasis decorated with care. Ask Kyle (the owner) about the art, decorations, even the plants—everything has a story and has been carefully thought out. He treats hair no differently and you will receive the complete experience, whether it be a quick cut or a complex color. That’s the philosophy at this spa/salon.Kyle is an absolute hair whisperer! I would trust no one else with my hair since discovering this place. Since moving to Denver I still return on a regular basis to have my color touched up or try something new. To boot, he’s also the nicest human you’ll ever meet and is committed to you having such a good experience that you will come back AND bring your friends! Can’t recommend highly enough!

I’ve had two appointments with Jeff. One to strip my hair of its blue color. He suggested a warmer red brunette and it looked gorgeous. My last appointment was to get a haircut to compliment the color and I wanted to go for something sweet. We discussed the look beforehand and settled on a plan for a mix between Zooey Deschanel and Angel Olsen, with eyebrows peeping. It turned out exactly how I envisioned it (I credit Jeff for taking his time to plan, listen, and explore photos online before tackling it) and the styling was darling. I’d definitely recommend Jeff or Amfora! His haircuts are affordable for Seattle, plus he is affable AF. The salon itself is wonderfully decorated in deep teals and wood accents and has a very comforting expansive atmosphere. I bet you’ll enjoy it :)
