Had a last minute cut with Ivy and really like my haircut! I was nervous about trying a new salon, but I felt comfortable and Ivy provided recommendations about my hair color and what she thought she might be able to do.I will definitely book an appointment here again when I’m back in Washington!

I had the most fantastic facial from Jill last week! My skin is still glowing and the texture is the best it’s felt this whole pandemic! The protocols in place (the screening, N95 masks and face shields) made me feel safe getting a facial during this time. I highly recommend Jill if you could use some self-care; hands down the best facial I’ve had in years!

I used to see Elliot there, she always took the time to explain things about my hair to me. She is very personable and friendly. I recently re-found her at her new salon, The Wolf and Co on the other side of Greenlake. So happy I found her again!!

Had a great haircut with Nina! Also went to bethany for consult and thanks to her strand testing my hair before coloring I avoided a weird green color due to henna I had previously applied. Great service! Careful staff!

I cant say enough wonderful things about Nina. I found this salon looking up top salons in Seattle and this popped up as a top recommendation. I peeked at Ninas Instagram before I scheduled. She listened to what I needed, was attentive, my hair feels and looks wonderful. She was born to do hair! Great value. While some stylists might be a little more expensive the salon as a whole is totally worth the money. Ive had my hair cut at some of the more expensive salons and have not been as satisfied. I have received many compliments on my hair.

I asked for a trim on my hair to remove the split ends and she literally just cut straight across the ends of my hair. Completely uneven on either side of my head and when I pointed it out she seemed confused and didnt see the problem. I waited a bit to write this to see if I was over reacting but I still hate this hair cut. At the end I felt like I was rushed out the door and so I didnt say anything. Super disappointing experience and $100 wasted.

Nina was amazing - super friendly, knew exactly the kind of bob cut I wanted, and delivered it beautifully! I felt like doing leprechaun kicks as I walked out. Great service all around.

I love this salon. I like getting my hair done but I especially like Michelle that waxes my eyebrows. She is so friendly and the room is so peaceful (with calming music). She is quick and its relatively painless. She always gets the shaping of my eyebrows perfect.

This place is great - my first time there and now my new salon. Meg is fantastic - took time to make sure what I wanted and did a great job with my long/think hair. Highly recommend

I saw Erika and loved her! She was great to work with when I didn’t have a super clear idea of what I wanted (just something different but not toooooo different). All other staff I interacted with were friendly as well.

Ive got a thick, corkscrew shaped, curly mob on my head. And, if anyone with any type of curly hair texture can tell you the one thing we all have in common, it will most likely be our haircuts from hell.Literal nightmares.Stuff that leaves you crying, even, as you walk out of a salon.Ive had my fair share of bad haircuts. I dont care to repeat any of them. So...its a huge relief to have found this place.Beehive has hit it on the nail for me. Every single time. I used to work with a woman there named Shana. She was amazing.But, as people tend to do, shes moved on and the front staff put me with Ivy.I was more than pleased. I left feeling incredible.Shes efficient, gets right to business, but made me feel comfortable with her wonderful customer service.She knows what she is doing and helped me tremendously in terms of next steps. Ive got two undercuts. One Im continuing to shave and another Im now growing out. She understood what I was looking for and I appreciated her attention to detail.Granted, being racially mixed as I am, Ive known folks to have a lot more hair texture than I do. But. I wouldnt hesitate to place them, or my family members (similar hair) with her.Phenemonal job. Just in time for the holidays. Thank you Ivy. Also, thank you to the front desk. You folks were super friendly and I appreciated your assistance.

Every place Ive ever gotten a wax has burned me after only a few visits, including some salons with great reputations. Never once have I had a bad experience at Beehive, even after years of visits. It is the ONLY place I trust for a good and blister-free wax.

I have been looking for a new salon since I moved here nearly 2 years ago and I think I just found it. I saw Erika today for a pretty drastic change (I chopped off about 8 inches) and I was very nervous. Not only did she do a great job and made me feel very comfortable about it, she was confident the whole time and she was pleasant to talk to. I think the prices are fair for the quality they offer and plan to make this my home salon from now on. I would recommend them to anyone.

Meg Marshall is the BEST. Literal best.... l cannot recommend her hairstyling and cutting and coloring and shampoo recomendations enough. But also she is a GEM of a human and wish I could sit there for hours :)

First time to this salon, a friend who goes here reccomended me. I saw Shannon cuz I have curly hair and so does she. This salon looks soo pretty inside and love the smell of Aveda products. Shannon was amazing!!! She added this oil and did a scalp massage, did a quick shoulder massage and then took me to wash my hair. Ive never had a scalp and shoulder massage at any other salon. The whole experience was marvelous. They even offer you La Croix as well as water and tea. I am definitely coming back to see Shannon.

I was referred to Meg at Bee Hive recently by a friend, and am SO glad that I went in! I couldnt be more happy with my color and cut, but honestly the best part of my visit was chatting with Meg! Ive been trying to find someone that I am comfortable going back to consistently and I now know my search is over!

I am SO glad I found this salon! Its has a cozy feel, a really unique interior, and I am completely satisfied with my haircut. Erika is amazing---really listens to what you want, talks about her ideas and talks through what she is doing---I am beyond satisfied! OMG I am so glad I found Meg at Beehive Salon. I have thin, fine hair, and Meg is so good with finding the right style for me. She reminds me that hair is just hair, and it should be fun. Ive referred several friends to her, all of whom also like her. Front desk staff is awesome (shout out to Annie!!) and they have a great selection of Aveda products. Love this place!!

Ridiculously expensive. Especially for hair that I am not happy with at all! I have never had to pay more than $100 to have my hair trimmed and highlighted. I had to pay almost $200 at this salon. I didnt know that the stylists were just employees and dont actually rent their own stations like most salons, Im guessing its because its Aveda. So stylists dont set their own prices. If I had known this before, I would not have made an appointment. My highlights are uneven. One side of my head is much lighter than the other. And a good portion did not go down to the roots and it looks like my hair has already grown out. I asked about 3 times to have my hair thinned out with with the proper tools to really shed it away and the stylist told me oh I can do that with scissors. Oh course its thick as hell. And with the heat that was the most disappointing part of the entire result. Stylist did not straighten my hair so I could actually see the cut and I am pretty sure I was charged to do this. Even though it took all of 2 minutes. I will most definitely not be going back. I plan to go to my old stylist when I visit family....3 hours away. Thats how irritated I am. I already have an appointment to fix it in 3 weeks. 3 weeks of torture with this disaster mop. Additionally, no one mentioned the $20 new client discount off my obnoxiously expensive bill and I received a reminder 2 hours before my appointment....not helpful one bit. It was a mere annoyance at that point. It also smells weird in the salon. I am very sensitive to smells and it was hard to ignore and caused a headache.

The staffs are so accommodating that you just feel like you’re so at home with them. I wouldn’t trade them for any other salons!

I see Shauna here on the regular. She is a whiz with pixie cuts and is friendly and down-to-earth to chat with! The salon is a bohemian and comfy Aveda locale with good service.

Ive gone to this salon every few months for two years and have always gone to Jessica. Ive been consistently really happy with the results. I havent gotten color here yet, but thats my next step!
