I LOVE these nails SO much! Broadway did such a good job with my dip nails. They have a really great selection of colors (I did dip but they also had a lot of gel and regular colors), are super professional, and clean! The owner and her daughter did my hands and feet and they were so meticulous. Also, because of COVID, they only take appointments, but it’s TOTALLY worth it. If you’re wanting to get your nails done in Capitol Hill, go to Broadway Nails!!!
I cant stress this enough. DO NOT GO HERE. I have been getting my nails done for 20yrs and it was one of the worst experiences Ive had. The lady told me she didnt have clear pink polish for French manicures and she made my acrylics so thick that they started lifting before I left the store.
Worst manicure I’ve ever had. Didn’t ask how I wanted it done, didn’t care about my opinion at all. Cut way too short, didn’t file more than 0.5 seconds per nail, and absolutely destroyed my cuticles. I’m upset I paid any money for this terrible work.
Nails were done good first couple times I went to Broadway. The lady was nice too, for the first few times. I always made sure I was on time. I always prepare myself for a little wait if shes finishing a person in front of me, but 3/4 times I waited for at LEAST 90 minutes. Finally what made me finally give up on the place was my last appointment... I was MAYBE 7 minutes late (I did call to make sure I could still show up) and when I walked in apologizing her attitude was so inappropriate and it didnt let up only got worse. Which made the entire experience extremely uncomfortable and seriously unprofessional.Would not recommend.Overpriced. Snooty attitude, and either bad scheduling, or bad time management skills...or both?
These ladies have got to learn how to use their drills. I left this nail salon with three cuts on three different fingers, and was still made to pay full price. That alone convinced me not to return. Parking was impossible, neighborhood is super sketchy. Additionally, I recently moved up to Seattle from pierce county, where a full set done perfectly will only run you $20-$25. A full set in Seattle I’m quickly finding out will run you $40 and up easy. This salon justifies their high pricing due to new sanitization supplies and practices. Other than a mask requirement and and plexi-glass “shields” placed in between the nail tech and client, there are no other practices in place. Stations were not sanitized or wiped down properly between clients. No temp checks, no extra supplies. Also witnessed a client walk-in asking for a full set, only to be turned away due to a fully booked rest of the day, while the salon remained empty besides myself a good 45 min after this lady was turned away. Will not be returning.
My shellac here lasts forever. You get a nice arm or leg message with you mani/pedi. They have about a bajillion colors. I once visited a salon near my university for Homecoming and they didnt have the dark forest green of the school but amazingly, when I got home here, this place did. Now, I always make sure to stop here before flying out for university events (and other events, like I said, theres a ton of options) to make sure I get the right color.
This is my favorite salon. So clean, such great nails after! Very friendly staff members, this is the only salon in Seattle I go to. I always ask for fun designs on my nails and they are always so accommodating and willing to help!
I have never gotten acrylics before, came here and the woman did a phenomenal job! My nails look great! The ladies there were very patient and took their time to hear what I wanted ( I was very specific). I highly recommend and will come again. Thank you bdwy nails.
The team is so down to earth and will make every effort to fit you in if you walk in and keep your appointment time with me understanding that its a estimation of time depending on previous appointments. Ive been coming for 15 years and that is saying a lot because there is a myriad of places to go.
Ive been going to this place for years, maybe 6 years. I refuse to go anywhere. Best place on the hill to get your nails done. Everyone is great, always does my nails perfectly, never had any complaints. The owner is awesome too.
By far my favorite salon in Seattle. They do a great job with acrylics and will let you text to make an apt.
I love this place!! The people were sweet ❤️💕
They are always so nice and accommodating. I also really love how into the singing competition shows they get lol
I have went there so many times but each time i go there i get treated different, her stuff are rude and ricist, she was talking on her phone, talking to who i don’t kn.. but the end result was very bad and left there with argument about how it was not done well... and never going to go back because she’s so bad and backing up her employees...
My cousin went to this place a couple days ago and she hates her nails. They look big and squared out and she said who ever did her nails looked liked they didnt know what they were doing. She got the pearl finish but it looks tacky because her nails werent done right. Hardly any acrylic and them after we took the nails off and it looks like you could break the flimsy tips pretty easily. I didnt spend money here, and i wouldnt from what ive seen.
The ladies were very nice, but my manicure (just a simple manicure) was rushed even though I was the only customer in the store! All of my nail polish has visible bubbles in them, so I’m not happy with the service whatsoever.
This salon is very cozy. I like that its upstairs and you can peer down on the street below. Walk-ins welcome, but doesnt hurt to make an appointment. Have gotten pedicures, manicures, and fills here. There are a two TVs for entertainment.
The best place on the hill. I was blown away with Pun’s attention to detail. I left feeling my mani-pedi as an inverted arch across my face 😁👍🏻🙏🏻.
Very quick got me in and out during my 1 hour lunch break... only downfall is they charged me $10 to repair one nail smh thats a little too much, even for the city
Traumatic experience. If I could give negative stars, I would. I came in for a gel manicure; the technician filed my nails to smithereens and scratched off the top layer of my nail beds. She then forgot to trim my cuticles and when I asked, Doesnt a cuticle trim usually come with a manicure? she grabbed a pair of cuticle nippers and proceeded to angrily cut my cuticles. Second finger in, she cut my ring finger REALLY badly. It started to bleed heavily and I began to panic. I didnt even know if the tools were sterilized properly and the last thing I wanted was an infection. Or worse — a blood-borne disease. I got up, said I didnt wish to continue, and asked for a bandaid. They didnt have any of the proper size so the lady handed me a paper towel soaked in rubbing alcohol. The blood still got all over my hands and my white t-shirt.I ran out of there in tears and had a panic attack on the way home.
Friendly, professional. Very pleasant and relaxing experience for a very reasonable price! Definitely coming back!
Good prices and nice people but I had to sit under the light to dry my nails for 40 minutes after getting them painted and they still wernt dry when I left.
They cool. Its my go to spot. Affordable
The staff were very nice and sweet however the end result was not up to my standards. The technician could have spent a lot longer shaping my nails and getting them exactly how I asked, it seemed like she was on autopilot. Also watching her put on the top coat, she only painted the tops of the nails and paid no attention to the sides which will result in early chipping. Also, once dried there seems to be tiny tiny air bubbles under the polish resulting in textured polish, which will also result in early chipping.Their color selection is also mediocre, offering mostly polishes with glitter or pearl finish. Also, the nail particles from the lady sitting next to me were wafting all over me and I could visually see that I was breathing them, they might think about separating visitors when there are one 2 people in the salon.I will no be returning unless its for a last minute job.Again, great people, not great finished product.
Facts GLITTERSTAR
Decent service and price but nothing extravagent.
