After searching the internet and consulting a few places in Seattle to alter my wedding dress, I decided to bring my dress to Jenny and cannot thank her enough for all the great work she did!I found an amazing burgundy red velvet dress that I decided on for our Christmas Eve Wedding. The dress had tiny spaghetti straps and was 2 sizes too big, but Jenny worked her magic and I ended up with a unique and wonderful dress for our fancy Vegas wedding.Jenny was honest and kind when consulting me on the dress and was wonderful throughout the entire process. I came to her with a million ideas and visions to work through and she helped me choose what was best for me at a very reasonable price point. She was especially kind to me during my moments of anxiety and guided me through what she was doing and how she was doing it so that my worries were put to rest.I would rate my experience 4.5 stars, because I wish her workshop had just a little bit more space - at times it was a bit difficult to see the details of the dress while we were pinning and trying different ideas. Other than that, it was a wonderful, quiet space!

I had my wedding dress tailored and bustled with Jenny Manes. They are pricey, but you get what you pay for. She carefully explained what she planned to do during my initial appointment and why she made certain decisions. When I picked up my dress the quality was flawless, it fit me perfectly, and I was thrilled with the final result.

My dress needed a lot of alterations because apparently I’m two sizes smaller in the bust area than in my waist. My dress was super ornate and detailed - covered in lace, lots of layers in the skirt, and tiny beading and sequins everywhere. Jenny Manes Alterations altered my dress to fit me perfectly and to the specifications I wanted. I had some layers removed from the skirt because I wanted it to be more flowy and less poofy. The top basically had to be reconstructed because the fit was super off (I ordered the size that fit my waist). Also, I’m short, so it needed a lot of hemming. I was so, so happy with the results! She also put in a five point bustle that I used during the reception. I am so glad that my dress was perfect. I felt amazing in it and it turned out exactly how I wanted. Thank you Jenny! Jenny is a very knowledgeable and a skillful tailor. I drove from Idaho to get my wedding dress altered by her and I’m glad I did. She was incredibly speedy, accommodating and great with communication. She makes a difficult job look easy. I highly recommend. Thanks, Jenny.

Jenny is an expert in bridal alterations. I brought my wedding dress to her and she made it fit like a glove. She had an eye for all the details of my dress from fixing the beading, to replacing buttons. I would recommend her to any bride!!!! She can be trusted to treat you and your dress with the utmost professionalism and care.

I cannot honestly say I would recommend coming here to get a wedding dress alteration.I have a relatively simple dress (Jenny Yoo Tegan, for which I paid $1200, dress shown for reference) that I needed a hem and bustle for, which to me is a minimum for a wedding dress (I do not know who does not need at least these two things).Jenny said it would cost over $1000 for her to do (for a $1200 dress!) Keep in mind there is not a bit of lace or beading on my skirt, so I can’t even imagine how much it would cost if you have either!!Because she had already pinned me when she gave me her estimate, she would not return the full $150 deposit to me. I found another seamstress with 30+ years of experience who said she’d do my alterations for $450, less than half of Jenny’s quote.If you are determined to go see Jenny I would ask for a quote before letting her pin you at all so hopefully you could get your money back. But I cannot say I would recommend going if you are not prepared to drop a ton of money. I was not prepared to pay the whole cost of my dress over again.

I took my wedding dress to Jenny. She had to rebuild the boning to fit me. It took a lot of work but the dress looked amazing. She also made a custom lace jacket to go over my dress. She took the time and effort to center the patter on the back, sleeves and two front pieces. I loved all of it.After all that, I am very loyal and take most of my wardrobe to her.

They are the best for altering a wedding dress if you want to be confident that it will fit you perfectly. They aren’t cheap, but you pay for what you get. I bought a dress that was 2 sizes too big for me because I just loved it and they didn’t sell it in a small enough size. The lady at Jenny manes had my dress fitting like a glove by my wedding. I am so grateful I came to her to have it done. She was a very good listener and had good ideas for my dress, I wanted the train shortened as well and it turned out perfection and absolutely gorgeous. I got so many compliments and everyone told me how great my dress fit and looked on me. Would highly reccomend going to Jenny manes for any dress alterations for special occasions.

Jenny did a phenomenal job with the alterations to my wedding dress! I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Not only did she flawlessly complete alterations on my dress that was covered in intricately beaded crystal lace, she also completed the job ahead of schedule. It is such a pleasure to work with Jenny! I purchased a large, tie-dyed silk scarf at a street fair, and asked Jenny to make a skirt. She added elegant, asymmetric details that make this garment one-of-a-kind, and a pleasure to wear. At another time, she designed a lined, fitted silk jacket, suggesting a dramatic color contrast for its lining, made a unique front button closure, and also created a bi-level hemline that not only makes this garment stylish and unique, it is one of the most flattering garments I’ve ever owned. Her attention to detail is amazing, and her creative imagination guarantee your clothing will be uniquely yours!

I am a petite person and sometimes need a new blazer or dress altered. Ive been going to Jenny for 23 years. She knows what needs to be done to create the right fit and look that I ask for. When I pick up my garment and try it on, shes always happy to make tweaks if needed to get it exactly right on (knit-picky) me. Jenny is seasoned and cares to do quality work. Thats why I keep going back.

I’ve been going to Jenny for years and consistently the service has been great and I’ve always been pleased with the result. From a simple pant hem, to sewing an arm back on my daughter’s favorite stuffed animal, to masterfully tailoring suits and dresses for our family. We highly recommend Jenny!

Jenny is so nice and friendly, I actually didnt end up altering my dress because its just too much work and not worth it for a $30 thirft store found... She was so nice that agree to see me for a fitting in the same day, and she is very knowledgable and amazing at wedding dress alteration. I have got turn down from 2 other stores that told me its just a impossible job, she had great ideas of what needs to happen and sounded very promising, if it wasnt I cant afford it Jenny will definitely be the person I go to for any alterations. Strongly recommend ！

Jenny & her staff were incredible. My dress was a bit of a disaster (bought off the rack)...they exceeded my expectations. It fit perfectly & looked amazing! Definitely go see Jenny for your bridal alterations!

I was not satisfied with this company at all. I contacted them and explained the dilemma with my wedding dress and communicated that they would be able to handle it. After making a $100 deposit, waiting several days for the appointment and driving 90 minutes to the facility I was told within 15 minutes that there was nothing they could do to help make my dress fit; in fact, they told me that there was nothing anybody could do and all hope should be lost. Luckily I did not let that discourage me and found a wonderful place in Bremerton called Judys Sewing Bridal and Tux. It was difficult, but not impossible.

I brought my wedding dress to Jenny and she made it fit like a glove! I highly recommend bringing your items here for any alterations!
