These guys were the best mechanics for me over 7 years. Always fast, upfront, direct and trustworthy. I wish there were more mechanics like this. When my car finally died, we suspected a broken timing belt. He quoted me $400 for the repair, but after he found damage to the cylinders he only charged me $200 because he didnt have to put it back together again. I really like these guys. I am thinking of going biodiesel so am sad because they dont work on diesels.

Toyota of Seattle told me my car needed $2,300 worth of repairs, despite me having taken very good care of my car, which is a 2006 Corolla. I brought it to Lee at Dere Auto, and the repairs were only $600. Very friendly and honest - if I werent moving from Seattle in a month, he would be my mechanic.

I went for an oil change and the owner informed me that my Nissan Juke had an oil leak that based on the year and milage of my car will be most likely covered by Nissan Warranty. He put the description of the problem in my printout and when I called Nissan, they confirmed that the problem is covered. So happy to have my oil change at Dere Auto because otherwise, that leak might have gone unchecked. Thank you Dere for your honesty and for spotting the problem and for bringing it to my attention.

Lee at Dere Automotive changed out all four balljoints and both tie-rod ends on my 1978 Datsun pickup and advised me on changing a brake line and caliper before getting it aligned. Then he recommended Burien Frame and Wheel for alignment. Work well and quickly done.
