We are visiting family for a couple of weeks. We got a family membership for a month for $60 and it included the day care. This gym is one of the CLEANEST gyms we have been to. The cleaning crew goes around cleaning constantly. The gym has plenty of cardio machines and lots of free weights. CORONA wise, I definitely feel safe working out here and taking my baby to daycare here while we work out. Thank you for having such a clean and affordable gym. We will definitely come back every time we visit.

Great gym. I love that they have an only womens section. Clean and positive atmosphere and they have a smoothie bar. I highly recommend.

Really good gym. Has dumbbells all the way to 150 pounds and any machine ever needed for bodybuilding. More of an old school gym feel.

Super clean and friendly staff

This gym is very nice with a large selection of equipment and nice locker rooms. I would like to see the showers fixed so its not so difficult getting the temperature correct. The pricing is also fair in my opinion.

As a retired military person, having visited many gyms around the world, this is a terrific place to workout. As I am in the older generation, the respect, kindness and help in improving my skills with the different equipment and exercise is outstanding. The previous comment about broken equipment etc... probably was a snapshot when repairs sand upgrades were taking place. It is very difficult to please some of the people any of the time.

I have worked out at Powerhouse in Seaford for over 4 years. This is by far the best gym in Seaford and the surrounding area - and its not even close. The size of the gym, the variety of equipment, the friendly staff, the attention to cleaning and maintenance, make this a great place for everyone from beginners to experienced body-builders and athletes. Mornings are mostly for the older crowd and afternoons and evenings are more for the younger set, as in most gyms, however everyone gets along and respects each other. Gym etiquette is very much respected here. Thats important. Safe place to work out and outstanding variety of equipment and weights make it the best.

I think that this gym could be fairly good under a different owner and different management. They care more about how much money they can extract from a members wallet than the actual member. Better to go to a place where you are treated as a person and not a number

I have been coming to this gym for about two years and I absolutely love this gym! It’s perfect for all types of people whether you want to lift a lot of weight or just do some cardio. Its a very friendly environment. Staff is so friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond for their members! No gym in the area compares to this gym. Great place, HATE going haha but it is nice. Most of the employees are great, very informative. I was not happy with the price reduction that I was not given. I asked when I signed up if they were going to have the discounted rate again, was told no, but in less that 30 days it was reduced. I was also misinformed about some of the amenities that was included in my rate. They are updating, When they get done it should be very nice!

Surprised there are so many shining reviews... they changed the name but did they change the lousy service? If I could give no stars I would. I was reading why Powerhouse gyms are disappearing, maybe all you people giving wonderful reviews should look into it? New name does not make bad business practices go away.

Everyone at Piwerhouse is super friendly! The equipment is always in working order and clean. The tanning rooms are also very clean and neat although every once in s while there are no towels. The prices are excellent fir the services!

Great gym but the customer service makes it A1. Anytime I have had a problem they have been super helpful, best gym in Sussex County hands down. Wishlist for equipment full jack bar and boxing bag or box master, they have everything else you could need.

Online said Try Us For Free, I walk in I said hello this is my first time here and I will love to try this gym, the person at the front desk said OK the fee is $12.00 ( there was no hello, welcome, tour, classes etc NOTHING) so where is the try us free... the gym appearance was not impressive, the staff needs training on customer service.

I love Powerhouse gym. Its great wether you like to workout with free weights or machines.They have a great variety of equipment, and a great deal of space. They got you covered if you just want to do cardio too. Their equipment seems well maintained, if not new.They offer group classes, and personal training too. Their personal trainers are friendly and knowledgeable.If you are a woman and dont feel comfortable working out with the rest of us, they have an area exclusively for you. I think it has most of the equipment the general area has, but boys are not allowed.You can get a membership for Seaford, or you can pay a little bit more and include Salisbury, MD, and Ocean City, MD too.Throughout the years I have tried some other gyms in Delmarva (which I wont mention out of respect) but I keep coming back to Powerhouse because you cannot beat them.Hope to see you there (I need a spotter, so dont mind if you offer to spot me.)

Switched here after a year long hiatus from the gym(came from planet fitness..)and decided to get a trainer due to health issues—best decision I have made for my health in a long time. It’s only been a month but he’s fantastic, knowledgeable, and works to keep things interesting. I’d definitely recommend anyone go here for training. The prices are beyond reasonable for the quality of training you receive.The women’s gym has been nice for me while I get acclimated to the new things I’m learning when I don’t have my training sessions, but there’s only so much you can do in there before you outgrow it. Again, an awesome feature for someone who’s a little intimidated by the level most of the members of this gym see to be at.Also, tried the juice bar for the first time today and i am in love.

An enormous gym with a variety of equipment. They offer group classes, a crossfit-style exercise program, childcare services, and a womens-only gym. Its very clean and the staff are great. Does get crowded at times.

Great staff, competent trainers and more equipment than youll ever need

So grateful that I found this gym while I was on vacation. The staff was very freindly and welcoming. The gym was very clean and huge.

I was very disappointed when I pulled up and the building was dark. When I get home I checked the website and it was confusing, one spot said hours 430am- 1230am, then in another sports it said staffed 24/7. I work both swing and grave shift when the gym was open 24/7 it was very convenient.

Great place to work out

Power house is clean, but the contracts are built to screw you in the long run. The people are less than friendly most days and in the evenings you cant find anyone for assistance. The gym even with the changes still does not have enough equipment on the busy days. Child care is to small and lacks structure.

I been going to this gym since july 16 i have 2 memberships 1 in cambridge maryland and another in seaford de which are 20 min from eachother cause of work schedule i got off work went to the gym 11:35 pm which they use to be open 24 hrs they change it until 12:30am i wanted get water the guy at the register told me he cant give to me :) cuz he closed down like i understand if i got a shake or preworkout maybe he cleaned because he has hour left but water really i dont want drink the tap water cuz it smells i cant so i just smiled never going back to the place horrible service. cant buy water after 11:35 lol bring your own water if ur going after 11:35pm

The gym has everything you could need in a gym. The time of day makes a huge difference though. If you go at the wrong time youll run in to the instagram wanna-bes

I have only one problem is the main exercise room is not cleaned enough. We have large classes, and the dust and dirt is bad. I would live for the owners to have the room cleaned on a regular basis. Ughh.
