I have been here multiple times, but BE CAREFUL when the people working are not in a good mood. Because the quality of their work is severely dependent on it. I went in to get acrylics put on, and the place was not busy. There were two people working and 3 people in the salon. He rushed to take off my previous gel manicure with the electric file and burned me several times. I kept flinching and exclaiming in pain but he didn’t ease up. He poorly shaped every single one of the nails. They all look lopsided. And when he went in to shape them up again with the regular file, he filed so hard that he sliced the sides of multiple fingers and made me bleed. I will not be coming back.

HORRENDOUS. Went in on an impulse, and the next day my thumb broke. Went in to have it fixed, and the day after that my index finger broke. Fast forward four days, my thumb broke AGAIN. Plus the gentleman refused to do the design I wanted (teal nails, black tips. French manicure themed) and did his own design. If you wanna spend $70 for something you don’t want and for nails that’re too thin, I recommend them. Other than that, save your money and go somewhere else. There’s multiple nail salons close to them and I’ll recommend all of them even though I’ve never been- nothing can be worse than here. Oh, and I bled on my index finger. Still healing 🙃 I’ll bad mouth this salon to anyone who asks for nails, that’s how terrible it is. The 5 star reviews are misleading. I’m convinced they pay people to make them.

DO NOT GO HERE! OWNER IS UNPROFESSIONAL! I went in to get a pedicure with Kevin and he ended up cutting the side of my foot with the exfoliating tool used to remove dry skin! He did not acknowledge anything happened and when I put my foot back in hot water it was burning. I mentioned it to him again but he just continued to finish pedicure and put color on my nails. I called after I left and spoke with Scott the owner who said to stop in the next morning. When I did he made sure to walk outside so customers could not hear or see what happened. I told him I wanted a refund and he proceeded to tell me he would just give me $5 in cash!! There was no apology from him either. I called back a couple hours later and said $5 is not acceptable for cutting my skin and I want a full refund and he said he was not going to give me a refund that the $5 discount was all I was going to get. I will never step foot in this place again and I advise anyone else to think twice before going there because of the bad customer service and lack of accountability on their part. He said “it was a mistake you are acting like a 5 year old!” I can’t believe they would treat customers this way let alone the owner of the nail spa!

This was my second time visiting the shop and I was just as pleased as the first time.Pleasant atmosphere and staff.I would recommend it to anyone

New customer-I went in to the Nail Spa in terrible need of a pedicure and manicure. I left feeling amazing! The experience was relaxing, comfortable and the mani and pedi were so perfect!!! It’s been three weeks and my acrylic nails still look great and are super strong! Staff was very kind and are incredibly skilled. Thank you!

Scott did such a great job! I knew I wanted acrylics but didn’t know what design, he recommended ombré and I absolutely loved it! He took his time and made sure I was happy with the results.

I went in to get a full set, while on the look out for a new salon to do my nails. I have had acrylics for a long time and by far this is the most incredible set so far! Nick did my nails, he was very helpful and knew what he was doing. I will continue going to him!

I chose this salon based on the reviews - I was not scheduled with anyone specific however I I received my services from Scott - my pedicure was great - don’t really feel like I received much of a massage tho... just a few squeezes here and there and the hot stone rub was very quick mostly on my shins - he convinced me to try dip on my fingernails and I expressed my concerns of it being too thick as I keep my nails short - didn’t perform any of the manicure - didn’t soak my nails - didn’t apply cuticle solution - didn’t trim my cuticles and dead skin - straight to the dip - tore my skin up during the buffing and filing with the drill - I now have several raw sore areas around my cuticle nail area - I advised I felt the dip was very thick and lumpy on the sides and corners - he stated if he drills anymore there won’t be any color left - of course I was charged for a full manicure with dip smh - very disappointed and will not be returning - the color is great tho it’s my fav so I love it. The salon was pretty clean however the towel at the mani station was wet and dirty - he didn’t have on gloves during the process - did not ask me to wash my hands before he began using his tools and dipping powder

Got a pedicure here and they did a great job. Felt very relaxed during my pedicure and wasn’t pressured to upgrade services.

My mom @ I both had pedis & mom also had a mani. All was awesome & the price was very good. The place was also very clean, which is very important!!!We used to go to Glendale, since we hadn’t found a good nail shop around here yet. We found this place & decided to give it a try.Very pleased... We will be back!!!

Scott is the best! Everywhere I go, I get genuine girl compliments on how pretty my nails are. He is fast and they are very well done. I am hard on my nails and they dont break. Also, between fills they do not lift; they just grow out. Highly recommend!

We have been visiting the nail spa for a few years for pedicures and have been very satisfied, they use to do great jobs. Unfortunately the last time they are stressing and dont do the genuine work anymore! You dont walk out the door without the walking on cloud feeling anymore. There are so many nail spas in the area so unfortunately from now on we will go somewhere else.

This is my favorite place. Leah is freaking awesome! Ive been going there for over 2 years and no complaints. They went through a name and owner change, but still great service. Scott is the man and they are all super friendly. The place is always clean, reasonable prices for a foot massage and pedicure. If you need to get a quick rub down call in and tell Scott (the owner) AB sent you.

I found this nail salon by reading reviews. I am extremely happy with my first visit. Scotty is very nice and explains everything perfectly. He really does care about preserving your natural nails when putting hard gel on top. The last nail salon was so rough and didn’t even care much on my natural nails. I left with beautiful nails and loved how he gave me a soft square shape. I highly recommend this salon. Very clean salon too. Thanks for the awesome service.

The ladies were very sweet, only it’s been a week and my dip chipped of my nail and so did my pedicure. I paid for a dip with manicure, but I didn’t receive the manicure .. but felt as I paid the full price for what I had asked, but did not receive. A bit bummed, but the environment is clean and courteous.

This is my second time coming here, and I love it so much! Vi always does my nails so nicely and you can tell that they really care about making sure your nails look perfect. I would definitely recommend getting your nails done here!

I’ve always have been embarrassed by my nails. I went to The Nail Spa and Scott made me feel so comfortable and told me how my nails could be healthy again, he was so kind and made my nails look so beautiful and most of all health!! I suffered for years not wanting to show my toes. Now I can wear any shoes I want and feel confident. I highly recommend Scott if you have nail issues he is amazing!!

I have been coming to Scott since they opened. This is by far the best nail spa that I have ever been to. Not only is the salon beautifully set up but the staff is wonderful. Made an appointment for my mother-in-laws Birthday. Even with our appointment we waited over 15 min. It was $100 for 2 pedicures so my expectations were high. My tech never asked me how much I wanted taken off my toenails. He cut them super short! I can live with that but when he put the polish on it was all over my toes. My little toe had absolutely no polish. I had polish off at least 6 nails with in only 3 days of my appointment!! Expected more from 5 stars and $50 pedicure!!!

I have had my nails done for 30 years. Ive lived in 7 different states and have had every type of product on my nails. Acrylic seemed to be the only product that would last on my nails, that is, until I met Scott. Like every other salon Ive been to, he tried to talk me into taking off the acrylic and trying gel or dipping powder. I told him Id tried those several times and they just didnt work on my nails. He assured me that his technique was different and that gel would be better. As usual, I caved and have never regretted it! Not only did he give me beautiful pink and white gel nails, but he was also very fast. The best part is that these nails really last! It has been 5 weeks since my last fill and they still look beautiful with no chips or lifting. If you want beautiful long lasting nails, Scott is your guy!

The nail spa was amazing!!! Scott did my nails and did a liquid gel instead of the typical acrylics and I’m never going back to acrylics! No more chips for me! Highly recommend! And their pedicures are top notch as well!

Last min I needed both pedicure and manicure. Called 3 places and no one could help do both without waits in between the services or until the Manicurists daughter got home from school and you understand. The Nail Spa from the get go was how can we help you. Professional services. My nails were braggable and I did. Because they stepped up to make sure I kept my time restrictions I was able to get my brows waxed too. Im very pleased. Lastly I wasnt sitting there being talked over by foreign tongue when they communicated with each other. They spoke English to each other.

They did an awesome job on my nails, plus my Mother in-law and 2 girls! We felt very catered to and had a great time!

I came into the salon needing to get a previously done liquid gel nail application (from a different salon) redone because only after a week of wear they were lifting and looking awful.Scott was the person who did my nails. He did an AMAZING JOB!!! Not only did he do an amazing job but he told me why the last nails I had were lifting and why the way he was doing it would last longer! It will now be the only place I go when I am in town!!!

This is my first review for any service I have had but my experience was so great I have to rant and rave about it to everyone. I recently moved to Scottsdale and have gone to nail salons all over the valley looking for someone who actually knows how to apply SNS (dip) and thought I would have to accept being disappointed forever. I called The Nail Spa for a pedicure (which was amazing) and while I was in the chair I started talking to Scott about how upset I’ve been with my nails. He looks at me and said I am going to fix this for you right now. Fix isn’t even the word I would use they look so great! Half way through being done I couldn’t believe what a difference there was compared to what I have been used to. I recommend this salon to everyone!

I love this salon! It’s such a clean and relaxing atmosphere. They have so many colors, SNS, shellac, chrome, and glitter! The staff is always very friendly. Even when they are really busy, they are always extremely attentative! I’ve been going to Scott for years and he always makes sure my nails are perfect. He works very hard to make sure all of his customers are treated like long time customers!

This is by far the best nail salon I have ever been to! Each one of them are amazing but Lee is one of the BEST nail technicians Ive ever came across she is so kind and takes her time she is a perfectionist, my nails always come out perfect and I get so many compliments each time!

Not sure how this has 5 stars. Tools were not cleaned nor did they show any santitatiok practices or cleanliness. The towel at my mani station wasn’t replaced and had used with finger nail clippings on it! My technician did a sloppy job with my manicure with polish on half my nail and on the skin. The worst was when my sister’s technician was applying this old polish that was goopy and chunky and when my sister said something, the tech just kept adding acetone or something into the nail polish to make it less chunky but it looked almost matte and terrible. Even after the top coat was applied, it had a matte finish looking terrible. Instead of suggesting a new polish, they rushed and acted like they didn’t see anything wrong. She ended up asking for the polish to be removed and was told she wouldn’t be charged because she had already cut her cuticles so bad and knew the mani looked bad, so we still intended to tip the technician and pay for my mani ($16) and the worker who rung up the credit card tried charging us $42!! The whole situation was uncomfortable. They then were going to charge my sister $10 so we paid and left. Very disappointed.

Gotta leave a note on how glad I am to have found Scott at the Nail Spa!! I met him and his lovely family about a year ago at one of their previous family owned spas and loved the creative work they do so I followed them to their new location in scottsdale. I get my gels done with Scott and my mom enjoys a manicure or pedi with another wonderful technician. I need to mention their vip club where you enter a phone number and it tracks points from purchases to use towards a percentage off of services. Again, this place is awesome and Im here so much I feel like part of the family. Check them out!!! :)

I just relocated to North Scottsdale about 3 weeks ago. I found The Nail Spa after having gone to a different nail salon where I got a full set with gel color and had a terrible experience. I had requested coffin nail shape and the nail aesthetician completely botched my new nails. They were wrong size, shape and looked horrible. I tried giving them the opportunity to correct them but they gave me the run around so I decided to so research on google reviews and showed up as a walk in at The Nail Spa where I met Scott. They were extremely busy but Scott was able to shape the nail quickly and offered the help as a complimentary service which was very kind. I booked an appointment and returned a couple days later and had my nails taken off and had a new set done by Nick. All I can say is talk about a professional who knows hia craft. I got perfect coffin nude nails that are a work of art. Im talking pinterest perfect! I am so happy I found my new nail salon in Scottsdale. I will be returning over and over. They are amazing, professional and worth every penny.
