I have been going to Scottsdale Nail Salon for many years for various services. I had been seeing Debbie for a dip manicure for only about 3 months. At one point, I wasn’t able to see Debbie and made appointment to see Cindy for a dip manicure. I later realized she did a better job for my particular manicure, so I made an appointment the next time to see Cindy. When I got there the lady at the desk informed me that Cindy doesn’t want to do my nails and would I like to see Debbie because they work on commission. I informed the lady that I liked the way Cindy did my nails, but since I was there and nobody called me of the situation and I needed my nails done I said yes. Debbie then walks over and says to the lady at desk something in Vietnamese and then the lady says to me,Debbie doesn’t want to do my nails either. They work on commission. I told them this is a business and is not how you treat customers. I will not be back and my family members will not be back. Unbelievable!

The water was cold, my #2 European pedicure lasted about 20 minutes and next morning both feet were swollen and red. While I have never experienced edema before, the amount of nerve and skin pain from all the swelling was enough to make me think about going to the ER. Must have been a bacterial problem with the salon. I was here one other time with my sister and liked it. L** said oh, better! better looking because polish was put on) no, I pay for a service from a clean professional and want better results than me (a novice) could do at home. The swelling in my feet was scary! Hold on to your $35

This review is only for the nail tech, Michelle. Ive been going to this salon for 5 years and never had a major issue. On a normal day I would rate this salon a 4 out of 5.When I asked her to cut my nail a certain way she completely overreacted and responded in a rude and disrespectful manner and insulted me. She then proceed to rush through the entire pedicure and did not speak again to me. At the end of the service I was left with an inadequate job.Ive never had another tech act in this way and overall like the salon. When checking out I let the manager know and she blew it off but did take note I do not want to work with Michelle again. I dont know Michelles last name but she was younger and had long blueish hair. Hopefully theres only one Michelle!

This is my go to place to have my nails done and they have never disappointed. They have all the latest techniques, equipment and colors with expert technicians to make your feet and hands perfection. My nail technician is Lindsey! I have been going to her for so long cant even remember how long now... years! She is truly amazing with her vast knowledgable and talented. Also during this pandemic they have remained committed to keeping their patrons safe. I always feel in good hands and safe while there.

Just moved up to McDowell Mountain Ranch from Paradise Valley. I love how they no matter what will get you in even if it’s 35 mins before they close. The Solon is VERY VERY CLEAN.

They are always kind. Not always perfectly executed but the customer service is the best!

The salon itself is very clean and they are taking appropriate measure to ensure safety during COVID. That’s being said, look elsewhere for services. I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure and the technician sliced my finger, didn’t file or shape correctly and didn’t even attempt at cutting and filing my toes. It was no surprise that my gel manicure only lasted 4 days and my pedicure barely a week (any other place I have gone my pedicure lasts a solid 3 weeks). I really do appreciate their cleanliness, but I will not be back.

Worst place EVER!! I had called ahead to see if I came by on my lunch hour, would they be able to do a French Manicure in about an hour, they said no problem. The lady I was assigned to obviously wasnt listening to what I was saying because if she was she would have heard me say on more than one occasion, I wanted a French Manicure. What I got was a joke. She painted all my nails white. White? What the heck? I was already running late or I would have stayed to have them fix it. What a freakin joke! Never ever will I go here again and going forward, anyone I come into contact with will hear my story and how bad of service they provided to me. This place is a joke. Also the gal at the front desk, VERY RUDE!!!!

Very professional! Ive been coming in for about a year and Im always greeted and treated with kindness. All equipment is clean and sanitized, I highly recommenced them and appreciate everyone at Scottsdale nails, THANKS!

I have been going to this salon for years. But I have had terrible experience. Although it’s very clean and convenient, but some of the technicians are very incompetent and rude. I asked before I started to match the hands and feet. Feet was regular polish and hands was going to be powder. The color was very different. I told them but they insisted. And I wanted glitter just on the tip. She threw the glitter all over. And than refused the service. Although I told them to do just plain nails.The staff is usually very rushed and don’t want to do anything other than regular nails in shortest period of time.

This is my go-to nail salon. I usually go for basic manicures and pedicures (Im not one for acrylics). This salon is well maintained and very clean. Ive worked with several different technicians and I have been pleased with the quality of service every time. I would recommend scheduling appointments vs walking in, as they are usually quite busy.

They are following every safety precaution and are doung a good job. I wish them well because its a difficult time for all the manicurist and the owners. TIP WELL

I live 45 mints away. Went for a gel manicure with Kim . When I left and got home I look at my nails there was a piece of black hair baked in my gel on my nail. I called them and asked for my money back. Since I would need to drive 45 mints to go back so they can fix it. The manager was very rude. Will not be going back. Awful customer service

One of the reasons I believe Scottsdale Nails deserves a five star review is the level they go to to keep every foot bath clean. Each customer receives a new plastic liner in their foot bath so no bacteria is transmitted. Not mention the level of service is beyond any other nail spa I have experienced. When it comes to manicures they are the best. I have tried many places over the years and I can tell you that they take time and put much effort into making sure you have a perfect manicure. All of this is done for a very fare and reasonable price $$.

I have been going to Scottsdale Nails for five years and was very disappointed in the service my daughter and I received today. I had a new set of acrylic nails done and the product is thick and does not look natural at all. The nail tech seemed hurried and was extremely rough. The clear coat was sticky and not shiny, and I was told I must have rubbed it off when my hands were placed under the UV light. Another coat was applied, no apology just a quick fix. My daughter asked to have the SNS gel application done. This took an hour and half, and they still couldnt get it to dry or look professional. My suggestion would be to have your nail technicians fully trained in a new product before introducing it to your clients. We both left thinking about finding a new nail salon for our next service. Very disappointed in our experience today.

Liz is the best nail technician at this salon. She’s so meticulous with her work. Not to mention, the customer service she provided me with is superb. I didn’t feel rushed, felt welcomed, and my nails look perfect!

Ive been going to this location for more than 10 years. I remember when it was half the size it is today. Always have a great experience! Just had the husband join me for the first time. He really enjoyed his experience as well.

Have been to this location in the past and was ok. Went back last week to have a fill with Betty. The end result was less than satisfactory as some nails were shorter than others, some wider and too thick near the cuticle area - after a 4 or 5 days all of them started to lift around the cuticle area. After $45 + tip, needless to say I will NOT be going back. Ladies, there are MUCH better places to go to spend you hard earned money!!

Very disappointed. Paid $50 for a FILL, not a new set or anything, just an acrylic fill and had numerous issues. My cuticles are bleeding and burning, the paint is sloppy, and their are air bubbles on the nails. After 3 years of going to this salon intermittently, I am switching for good and it’s a shame because it used to be one of the best. Bummed.

I was visiting in Scottsdale, AZ and needed to blindly choose a nail salon for a pedicure. I searched Scottsdale Nails and saw the ratings, pictures matched up with the look of the salon, and visited their website, which had all their services and the prices for each service. I actually talked my husband into going for his first pedicure. The two nail techs we had were fabulous. I was glad to see that there were sterile packaged tools for each customer not the basket of tools in some places that are carried from customer to customer without cleaning. They also had disposable liners in the foot baths. The salon was very clean and well maintained. Such a great experience for both my husband and I. I had read in a review that it would be a good idea to make an appointment. I was glad I did make an appointment and my wait time was only a few minutes.

My mom and I have been coming to this location for 12 years or so. Today, I called to book an appointment with a technician I have seen before. They told me that she was booked for today, so I requested another day with her. THEN they told me that Michele the tech I requested refused to help me but I could book with someone else. They obviously were trying to force me to go with a different technician so they could book me today.I wish the owner would have been there and I could speak with her because she knows me and my mom. The manager Lynn is very inappropriate and unprofessional- she started arguing with me and telling me I never come there? So crazy. I’ve always had such a great experience here which is why I have been coming for so long, but it looks like I need to find another place!

Service was great

I was an established client for over 10 years,and have never asked for a free redo until now. Last Monday I had a $40.00 deluxe pedicure $30.00 gel manicure. My pedicure was done by Loren, who afterwards I found out was new. This girl was terrible. The water bowl was leaking and flooding. The water was not hot even after I asked her several times to make it hotter. I told her to get help, but she acted as though she didnt understand. I finally refused to put my feet in what looked to be dirty water. The regular front desk people were not there since it was later in the afternoon. I told the person at the front desk I would be calling to speak to the owner. I have called repeatedly through the week and left my number. No one called me. Today I called and spoke to Lynn and she said I could come in for another pedicure but would have to pay half otherwise SHE would be losing money! Unbelievable and very disappointing! I get a gel manicure every ten days and a deluxe pedicure every month. Unfortunately, I will never go back. I guess they are too busy to have customer loyalty, however, they wont feel that way in the summer months when the snowbirds go home. She will be losing alot more money than $40.00. She lost me as a customer!

Best place in Phoenix for natural nails. Clean and great-you need to find the right person for you but this is a super safe bet.

The staff was very friendly - I came in and asked if they could do the cats eye Gel they said yes. She did caution that the color may not be as intense and the samples. Not everyone can do it well yet my normal shop struggled but it was livable but they waived the up charge fee for it. Here It looked nothing like the sample and I ended up multiple colored nails no cat eye effect . They charged the full 51$ And I have to have the completely redone again :(

I am very disappointed in the service and the ability of the nail technicians. My upgraded pedicure was horrible, and never even talked to me. My sns manicure was not a winner either, they are all very ruff crooked, different length very uneven and shapes. The color is not at all what I wanted and no one could do a simple flower design.When leaving I told the ladies at the counter and they just said sorry, couldnt care less. Very disappointed in everything.

I went to Scottsdate Nails a regular French manicure. Good price especially the deep arm massage for almost 10 minutes. The art on my nails was so cute in the latest model. When I attended the party, many people loved it and asked me their address. However, it is so pity that I do not live here, but I definitely come back if I have a chance to come back here again.

Ive found heaven. I am a creature of habit; I did not leave my last nail salon that I had been going to for 7 years willingly. I left because I moved up to Scottsdale. Now, if youre like me, finding a good nail salon is nearly impossible. Im sorry but I cant just pull out my Yelp app as I normally do because it seems that everyone will always have a bad experience somewhere and you just dont know what will work for you. Usually you have to try about 10 places before you find your match made in manicure heaven. I decided to try Scottsdale Nails II because quite frankly, they were the closest to my house. I called in and made an appointment - DONT FORGET TO DO THIS! I went on a Tuesday afternoon and they were SLAMMED! I never would have expected this and was so glad that I did make that appointment. The greeter was friendly and advised me to take a seat while my technician prepped for me. I did notice a sign that they accept only cash tips, so please dont forget the green!The place is huge... it looks like a palace with 2 pedicure stations and about 40 other stations for manicures. All of the technicians seemed very friendly and engaged with their clients. The place is pristine and you can tell they are very attentive in keeping it spotless. My nail technician, whos name slips me now, came to greet me and I was sat at my station. She asked me what I wanted and I responded to her with my usual - a full set but painted white on natural nails. She understood right away which is more than I can say for other places Ive been to in the valley. she went right to work and used a technique I have never even seen before. When she was done, my nails sparkled in glory. Even at my last nail salon of 7 years had I never seen a job so well done. Dont let the negative reviews of this place hold you back from coming here. If you are looking for elegant, classy, and well done nails look no further.As far as price goes, well Its not cheap. My set was $45, not including a tip. Normally full sets start at $35 but mine was an extra $5 for the powders i used and $5 for the gel clear coat. But it is true, you get what you pay for, and I was more than happy to splurge a little bit on this.

I went to Scottsdale nails for more than 2 years. As I remember, last year or so, they erased out my appointment and took walk-ins. secondly, they switched my appointment to other technicians. This happened at least 4 times and more in the last year. Now, I would never come back to Scottsdale Nails. That is the reason for leaving a 2 star.

Fill chipped off of two mails within five days of appointment. They insist on yanking off your nail to fix it. I was hurt and bleeding. Never going back. Also, the sell to get me to do a new full set? Really? My regular gal at home never suggests that nor do my nails ever chop. Scam.

Disappointed90% of what I asked for was ignored and when I pointed out mistakes there was no fixing it.The angle the nail is on my nail makes my finger look broken plus there are so many layers of paint on the nails it makes them look undeniably fake.Several spots are missing nail polish.Basically it looks like I glued white chickletts on my nails 🤬Furious doesnt even begin to explain it.

I live really close to this salon so it was really convenient for me to go here regularly. However, I never really enjoyed the customer service and after yesterday I finally decided to move on to another salon. I had a appointment made for 6pm and it wasnt till 6:20pm that I was lead to a table, and then left to wait more. I finally just decided to leave. There was no apology for the wait either. This isnt the first problem Ive had though. Ive had a lady do my nails while talking on her cell phone; not paying attention and causing my cuticles to bleed. I Also had a lady mess up the nail polish and blame me for it and was going to let me go home knowing I had big dents in my polish.Tip: work on your customer service skills.

DO NOT GO HERE!! I have been here now 3 times over the course of a year and have had TERRIBLE experiences each time. The front desk is rude, prices are highest in the area- they only except cash tips and dont take discover or American Express, and my nails always come out looking sub par.THE WORST OF IT ALL:I came in at 5:30 on a Saturday to get ONE nail fixed due to the gel falling off within two days. The front desk lady (who seemed half drunk) REFUSED my service claiming they were closed and were in meetings. She also took a good 10 minutes going through the books to prove i got my nails done there. What a rude gesture!! Additionally, the front door says you close at 6?? You cant fix A SINGLE nail 30 minutes to close?? Also, what nail salon conducts meetings- especially during business hours and cant take clients??BOTTOM LINE: STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT.Go to Villagio nails on Frank Lloyd Wright & the 101 instead. Much better/friendlier staff and nails are always perfect. Cheaper prices too!!

Very impersonal and inconsistent. Ive had pretty good experiences. However, my last experience was awful. My nail technician was Jen. She was HIGH. She kept getting up and leaving (8 times to be exact) and came back smelling awful every time. My nails were a wreck. I showed the front desk afterwards so I could get someone else to fix them and before I could finish explaining, they called Jen up to take a look. She was clearly angry with me for saying something and aggressively filed my nails more.Not pleased. For such a busy, nice atmosphere, I expect more.

I had a terrible experience at this nail salon. The staff is rude and the lady who did my nails was extremely disrespectful. I asked her to cut my nails short because they grow fast; well apparently that was the wrong thing to say. For some reason it offended her and she told me not to tell her how to do her job and that they look terrible short. She also said if I asked her to cut my nails short again that she wont do them because she knows what she is doing. Im sorry but last time I checked I was paying to get my nails done how I wanted them. I will not recommend this salon and I will never go back! There are too many other respectful nail salons!

Worst nail experience ever!I was excited to have a relaxing mani/pedi. Front desk did not have my appointment and offered no apology. I was stuck in between appointments with a different tech for mani and pedi and both nail techs obviously resented that I was put on their schedule and took it out on my cuticles. I was cut several times with one nail bleeding for a full minute while she poured chemical on it. If I had not had an event that night, I would have walked out. Horrible, painful experience.

Service is horrible, specially from the female manager who is extremely rude and has no manners. It seems that she is doing you a favor letting you in. I went there for a gel mani and two days later i had 3 nails chipped. Yesterday I went for a pedi and got the callus removal service however my feet look the same as they were before the pedi.I have been going there for 4 years and i wont go back; it seems they have a lot of new unexperienced new employees and still the same manager
