I paid for a polish change and a dip removal- they charged me $25. After an hour and a half my nails were still wet and were in a terrible state . In response to my request for a refund- they said that my nails wouldn’t be dry for several hours (even though the nail tech who did my nails said they were dry and good to go), and I wasn’t entitled to a refund. I’m super disappointed. I’d go back in, but I am 5 and a half months pregnant and the salon had poor ventilation and was breathing in the fumes and nail shavings. Cherry on top was when I explained myself again and told them I couldn’t come in to have them fix it, and still requested my refund… They hung up on me.

Rude owner. Employees dont talk or care about you. In and out as fast as possible. No hello no goodbye, unless you have a lot of money, then they may say hello and talk to you. Could not relax, because I was so disgusted. Pedicure was good. Tech was nice. She seemed scared to death of her boss.

I went in for the dipping powder. It was applied much too thin and within days most of my nails had chipped. I scheduled an appointment to get them repaired. I was left sitting there while they pulled customers ahead of me ignoring my 12:45 appointment. When I asked why, I was told I had to wait for the woman who did my nails originally. She had just started with a client and I was expected to sit for an hour and wait totally ignoring I had made an appointment and wanted to pay to get my nails fixed. One lady put the remover on my nails and I was left sitting there with my skin burning from the chemicals being left on my skin too long. I will never go back. It was all highly unprofessional for a mistake made by them to begin with.

Horrible pedicure!! The worst I’ve ever had! Don’t go in they are the worst. Would not listen to my requests and didn’t shape or buff or file awful paint job and very rude!!scary rude

I loved the manicure I received from here, unfortunately my finger nail broke the very next day. I tried to call a few times and did not get through to anyone to fix it. Kind of a bummer but I enjoyed the service while I was there.

First time at this location and i loved it. I highly recommend trying out the salon and if you do ask for Tracy. She did amazing dipping powder and quick with detail is nice. Love it and will coming back. ❤️

I was recommended to go to Luster Nail and Spa from my sister in law for our bridal nails. Tiffany is beyond amazing and knows exactly what you should do even if you arent even sure yet. They were able to accommodate 10 girls right when they first opened and got us in and out in a timely manner. We had a miscommunication with the mother of the brides nails and without hesitation were able to get the nails fixed exactly they way she wanted them. I can say all 10 of us girls walked out of there very happy. I would 100% recommend them for all you nail needs.

This place is horrible! After hearing and reading great reviews I decided to give it a try! I requested a full set and pedicure. As I was in the middle of my pedicure, one of the nail technicians approaches me and informs me that that would be unable to do my full set because they had an appointment. My response: “upon my request for services why did you not inform me of this because if you did I would have gone somewhere else!” Never had this happen in my decades of getting my nails done. Save your money and select a better place.

Beautiful nail salon. I made an appointment and didnt wait at all. There were several walk ins that did not have to wait more than a few minutes. I had a deluxe pedicure and gel French manicure. They did the manicure along with the pedicure, which is a great time saver! Both nail techs I had were great (sorry didnt get their names). Will definitely be back here soon!

Great nail salon! Everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. Its beautiful on the inside too - it definitely has an upscale look to it, and the pedicure liners were a huge plus. I had never had a pedicure before and they made it a great experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone in North Scottsdale.

This is my second time getting services at Luster after being referred by my cousin. They consistently do a great job, have current on-trend options for color and technique available. I have since referred a friend and will absolutely be back. Clean, professional, detail oriented and very personable.

They really know what they are doing! Its always very clean and they always have an array of colors and styles to choose from! They keep up with the trends.

Not very friendly. My pedi was not relaxing. The lady was not very happy to be working today. She set a timer, as soon as it went off she immediately got up and walked away. Someone from the front desk came over to finish the polish job( which needed to be redone) I will not return !

One of the worst nail salons ever. Had terrible experiences here but it was a nail emergency and around the corner from my house. At the time there was only ONE person qualified to do acrylic (in a nail salon??!) And he is so ROUGH on your hands. Made my cuticle bleed. The next trip, I went and asked for someone else, and they told me no. He is the only person to do it. He was awful. My cuticles were ragged. The last straw was when I got an acrylic gel polish set and the next day it was cracking everywhere.apparently, he used gel Polish with a regular clear coat which is a huge nono. Terrible customer service up front. Will never go back.

Came with my girlfriend for the first time and staff was super friendly and did a great job. She loved the work done on her nails and feet and I got a leg massage and pedi. Great experience.

They are amazing!! I have gone only once but I continue to go back, best nail salon I have ever been to in Scottsdale.

Disappointing-my daughter came in and showed a design she wanted-they said ok and sat her down. The man that did her nails roughly filed her nails and said he couldn’t do it and pick color. She turns to me and says he’s hurting her. Her nails are miss-shaped and not at all what she wanted. We will not be back.

This is the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. After 6 hours with my gel manicure done, my nail chipped. The nail polish was bad quality and was overpriced. Not only was the manicure bad, the service was terrible too. The lady doing my nails kept picking off the gel she had already applied, because the UV light wasnt working. After my manicure was finished and I was ready to leave, the owner walked up to me to check my nails, which I appreciated but then guided me back to the chair and started to yell at the girl who did my nails. Overall the service and quality wasnt the best, this place was overpriced, and I wouldnt recommend going to luster nails.

Very nice place and good people and prices. Tips must be in cash. Had the best Pedicure Ive ever had, and Ive had tons. I had Angela, ask for her, you wont be sorry.

I used to love this place, until my last couple of visits. I was driving all the way from Gilbert to spend my money with them. The staff( excluding the male owner) are very stuck up and rude. That female owner has the absolute worst attitude. She feels like people are beneath her. After my last $80 visit, I swore I would never return. Peope dont have to spend money with you its a choice. Words of advise respect all your clients.
