This is one of the most clean and beautiful gyms I have ever seen! The staff is so friendly and helpful! I love that they focus on form and getting to know each client on an individual basis so that they can personalize workouts to fit each persons needs!

I have been going to Pulse Fitness for a few years and absolutely love this facility. Everyone is super friendly and the coaches are super helpful, and they motivate you. The gym is very clean and now with Covid19 they have stepped up their cleaning methods to protect their clients. Absolutely love going to this Gym!!!

Before joining Pulse, I attended various gyms over the years and tried out different boot camp deals Ive come across.This is the first place to which I feel I belong. Im not only impressed with the professionalism of the staff but, I genuinely like the other members too.Its not a meathead gym nor is it one of those mega places where youre pretty much on your own and invisible.The staff knows their stuff and seem to genuinely care about your fitness and well being. They are valuable resources of exercise, physical therapy and nutrition advice.Other places Ive tried left me with the impression that the boot camp trainers were making it up as they went or just winging it. I often felt that things were kind of sloppy and rather than thinking that was a good workout I felt injured or strained.Here at Pulse, Ive definitely worked myself hard but never felt like things were out of control or overdone.Its fun, upbeat and I feel like Im in good hands. Im now in the best shape of my life.

Ive always been somewhat in shape (or so I thought) and didnt have the worst nutrition habits. Ive dabbled with different fitness routines from circuit training-type workouts, to wandering around various gyms, to just running (ugh) and Ive never been able to push past the plateau; to really challenge myself; to be held accountable for MY results. I joined Pulse Fitness 5 months ago after seeing a picture of myself from my bridal Shower and realized that I needed to lose weight and get in shape. Since then I have lost a lot of weight, gained muscle and just have such a better understanding of nutrition and my metabolism. The team at Pulse is VERY knowledgeable and are always guiding me on what I can do to achieve what ever goal I have with my body and nutrition. In addition the place is super clean and the people that work out there are very nice. The place has such a positive and motivating energy that I enjoy going there. I highly recommend this gym.

I never thought a gym could be a place you WANTED to go to everyday! Pulse Fitness has changed the stereotype of a gym and it has changed me! Since coming here I have become more comfortable lifting weights, my endurance has increased drastically and my quality of sleep has improved. I am in love with this gym! Its not your typical gym, its a breed of its own! The personal trainers are highly qualified and have extremely admirable certifications/education! Tim and his staff genuinely care about all of their clients and pay close attention to their goals! Their workouts are always innovative and fun, and the energy is so positive and uplifting! I cannot say enough about the gym itself (its so clean, the layout is amazing and open, equipment is new and top of the line), Tim, and his staff! I completed the 6wk challenge and lost nearly 9% body fat! The Pulse team helped me get back into the gym after a two year hiatus and upon completion I felt as if I had never missed a day. This program truly does work if you put the effort in to follow the meal plan. The meal plan they gave me was easy to follow and the workouts were tough enough with them that I didnt need to workout 6 or 7 days a week to meet my goal. I would highly recommend this program to anyone.
This place is fantastic. I joined for the lean challenge. I loved the bootcamps; they were fun and always filled with energy. I was never bored and they always pushed you to meet your goals. They are unique because they offer training as part of their monthly fee. While it is a bit more expensive than your standard gyms - it is well worth the price.
This place is fantastic. Beautiful facilities, yummy protein smoothies and a great/knowledgeable staff. I completed the 6 week challenge and felt supported the entire time. If youre looking for a lifestyle change and some butt kicking workouts outs then this is the place for you. I learned a ton about nutrition while completing this challenge. What separates this gym from many others is how the sense of teamwork is incorporated into all the workouts.
Ive been training with Pulse fitness for over a year and a half - I couldnt be more impressed! These guys are the real deal. Its not the same old stuff that you get from every other personal trainer. Some of the most impressive trainers I have seen in a long time. Each trainer actually has their own video to let you know a little bit more about them and their purpose. Great staff who are not only fun, but dedicated in getting you the results that you wish. They come highly recommended and Tim is GREAT! I love their energy and I am sure you will as well.

I completed the six week challenged with a 7% body fat reduction which was 2 percentage points greater than my goal. I sprained my knee 3 weeks into the program. The trainers are all very knowledgeable, and friendly. Usually I feel out of place in a gym setting, but at Pulse I have not felt anything but open arms from not only the trainers, but also the other clients. I would highly recommend the gym to anyone! I utilize boot camp and personal training. Each trainer is professional and fun, and you can learn from all of them. They take the time to understand your goals, and work with you if you have any sore spots or injuries to help and overcome them. This is not a typical scottsdale gym, no one upping each other, no makeup needed, a gym hair, dont hair, kind of a place. I am happy with my fitness results through boot camps and personal training, and when I slack due to travel and life and kids, or whatever, they remind me to come back in, and dont make me feel bad about it. Come in and give it a try, you will be happy you did. And your body will thank you too. Oh...and grab a smoothie. They are delish.

Love the concept at Pulse. Ive had a few personal trainers in the past, and this has been a totally different experience. This is a very comprehensive and personalized approach to training. Its not the typical repetitive weight lifting over and over again. It feels like a mix of crossfit and biggest loser workouts. The owner and trainers are great, very knowledgeable and encouraging. They were able to spot some trouble areas for me and focus on stretching them out and strengthening them. They also offer group boot camp classes, that Im looking forward to trying once Im feeling a little more in shape!Being close to AJs also makes it easy to grab a healthy meal after your workout. You can also pop in next door to get your nails done or get a quick spray tan. If youre looking for a great environment to really get in shape, this is the way to go. Its not a be seen type of gym, people are serious about getting in shape here. Highly recommended!

Finding a place you feel comfortable working out at is sometimes difficult to do. I hate big box gyms, fancy schmancy, expensive, exclusive, places dont work for me either (and really I only went to those places for the steam room - I LOVE steam rooms!! Hint, hint TJ )Some women have to tear others down to make them feel better about themselves. But this never happens at Pulse because we seem to be a tight-knit little group (and well, were just kinda that awesome!) We see the same people at BC or coming in for training. One never knows what someone else may be going through and just a smile, you got this, or have a great day can really mean a lot to someone. Thats what Pulse Fitness is all about.So, I have to give a shout out to some people. First, the trainers are just awesome. They put a lot of effort into making the Boot Camps different every single day. Jenna, thanks for always making me smile even when I hate the workout and coming by to say hi or give me a high five before you go stretch someone. David, thanks for getting my eating under control. I love knowing Im fueling my body properly and Im seeing results (almost 20 pounds lost in 2 months)!!Pulse Fitness is a great place to workout, feel at home, and get the full service experience without a big, cold, box gym.

I joined Pulse Fitness in June of 2011 after I had been unsuccessful at a couple of different types of gyms. I took them up on offer to give the gym a try for one month to see if it was the right fit for me. Within a few sessions I was convinced that I would succeed in reaching my fitness goals by working out at Pulse. They offer many different programs for people of every fitness level and, even though I was in horrible shape when I joined, they never made me feel uncomfortable. They worked with me, gave me exercise and nutrition tips that helped me reach my goals. I am more confident in my athletic abilities now than I have ever been in my entire life, I reached my initial goals and have since established new goals to work on through the new year. I would highly recommend Pulse to anyone hoping to improve their health.
Today I can’t imagine getting through the day without a workout at the gym - that’s how Pulse Fitness has transformed me and my fitness regime. I joined Pulse Fitness about 18 months ago after not being able to do much exercise for 7 years due to back problems.Before joining Pulse Fitness, I visited several gyms. I knew that I didn’t want to join a large gym nor did I want to join a gym that is crowded with exercise equipment. Additionally, I was looking for customised personal/semi-personal training and flexible schedule.Pulse Fitness offers exactly what I was looking for and MORE. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I also enjoy the bootcamp classes. My workout program combines semi-personal training and the bootcamp. Over the past year, I have seen the results not just in my overall fitness but also in my strength and endurance.I must admit that I was initially a little intimidated by being at a gym, in fact being near any type of exercise. The Pulse Fitness coaches put me at ease by customising the training based on my physical fitness and goals. For the first time in my life, I feel confident enough to use any gym while I am travelling.I don’t usually write reviews of any kind but I feel compelled to share my positive experience and give Pulse Fitness the recognition they deserve.So, a big thanks to Pulse Fitness. I have been a member for two months and will be for life!!! I came to pulse not just obese but having a false sense of the right way to workout. All the trainers are very knowledge, friendly, and want to see their clients happy with their results. I tend to push myself beyond limits and when a muscle is sore or a joint is hurting the trainers modify the exercise to accommodate. They dont wanna break you like other trainers I have worked with they truly care about you getting results, feeling good about yourself, and most importantly doing it in the right way. They have healthy meal plans on the spot that you can buy after a workout or if your looking for something healthy to take to work for lunch. Go and meet the staff, watch a boot camp session it has been a wonderful experience. I am ending my 8 week Biggest Loser competition at Pulse and will be continuing my journey to a healthier me with Pulse. Thanks for changing my life Tim, Chris, Jenna, David, and fellow boot campers.

I needed to make a change and saw the 6 week challenge on Facebook and decided to better my health and lose weight. At the initial weigh in we were assigned a meal plan to follow along with bootcamp training 3 times a week. Through this journey we had 24 hr support from the team at Pulse Fitness for any questions and guidance. The workouts were very challenging and the instructors were very motivational, It is a very welcoming environment you are greeted by name the trainers are very encouraging. I would recommend this challenge to anyone who needs that push to get motivated and better your lifestyle. I have learned a lot and i have lost 23.8 lbs in 6 weeks. I want to thank everyone at Pulse Fitness, my instructors Milani and Raquel and the support from Tim, Brent and Megan!
Pulse caught my eye one day, with a free six-week weight loss challenge post on Facebook or Instagram... and wanting to turn the tide on the ever rising scale, I replied.This was one sweet deal, and Im so glad I was accepted! It started with an assessment, along with a meal plan. The food is the key. You cant out-train a bad diet, and Pulse gives you the tools to maintain a great diet!I agreed to attend at least 3 boot camp sessions a week, for the duration of the challenge. The book camps are much like circuit training. Expect lots of squats, up-downs, and burpees. Youll be mixing it up with push-ups and planks. Then grab a 17lb weighted ball to see how high you can throw it, or raise a slam-ball high above your head and slam it into the ground! Want more? Hop on a stationary bike for quick, high intensity bursts, then plank with dumbells which youll raise up, one arm at a time. Head over to the TRX straps for some rows or tricep extensions. Finally, grab the battle ropes, or push that weighted sled for 20 yards. You aint leavin till youre heavin!Starting at 271, after 6 weeks, I dropped 29 lbs... and I have the tools to continue achieving success, all thanks to Pulse! Give them a try if youre serious about changing yourself
