Sadie is absolutely wonderful. She altered my three older sisters wedding dresses, two friends, and my own. Im going to miss seeing her at my alteration appointments. She is so sweet and is SO attentive to detail. She will make SURE that you love the way you feel in your dress. I loved that I could leave my dress with her and not feel worried one bit. She is worth every penny AND MORE!

Sadie is a dream. She made my dream wedding dress looking even better. The bustle looked great. She is very busy so get in touch with her early. I can see why several bridal salons prefer/recommend her for their alterations (I bought my dress at Schaffers). She makes you feel very comfortable and does not waste any time at your appointment. She worked with the beading and multiple layers with ease. After the wedding I had a tear in both my veil and dress that she fixed without hesitation. She was going on vacation right before my wedding but made sure everything was done in time and told me that she was available the week before she left just in case I needed it. Very happy. Amazing! She was recommended to me by my friend who used her for her wedding dress last year and she was fantastic! She was an hour away from me but she was worth every trip! I had a total of 3 fittings with her and she just made me feel so comfortable and at ease with everything. She was very quick to email me back which is a big deal for me when I’m dealing with business’s. There wasn’t a lot she had to do with my dress luckily (sew on the snaps in order to bustle it, shorten the straps and replace the top eye hook closure) but what she did do was great quality work! My total bill wasn’t anything I didn’t expect or thought it was over priced. Great experience and will keep her in the back of my head for any future alterations needed.

Sadie did a fantastic job altering my wedding dress. Shes absolutely a perfectionist, which is a good thing!! We initially scheduled 6 fittings to check the alterations but it ended up being 8 (my body is weird, I can gain 4 lbs from lookingat food). No complaints from me with additionalappointments..the closer to the wedding, the better! Of course, I wanted my dress to fit perfectly. My dress was originally sleeveless, way too long/ big. Sadie did a phenomenal job adding sleeves which looked like theyve always been part of the dress. In hindsight, I would have asked for full length sleeves but that was my fault. I dont think anything could have been done differently to alter my dress for my body. Highly recommend Couturier Sadie Mardiha! Sadie definitely made my dream wedding day dress vision come to light!

Sadie is an absolute miracle worker. I met with her about 5 times, and every time the dress fit better and better. She works on SO many dresses at once, and is ALWAYS on time, and always has her work finished. My train was super long, and she bustled it beautifully. Thank you so so much, Sadie! Sadie did such an amazing job altering (and creating!!) my dress! I purchased a strapless gown, but wanted an illusion top and she made exactly what I wanted! The back of the dress was breathtaking and I received so many compliments on how unique it was.. truly one of a kind. She was so patient and incredibly detail oriented. I cannot thank her enough for making me my dream dress. It was the perfect gown for our New Orleans wedding!

Sadie is an extremely talented seamstress to work with. She did the alterations for my sister’s wedding in 2018 (which turned out gorgeous) as well as my alterations for my maid of honor dress, so naturally I chose her to handle my alterations when it was my time to get married. She is extremely thorough and very detail oriented. She made my dress look like it was created just for me and even created a beautiful bustle for it so I didnt trip all over my train for the reception (much appreciated). She was such a sweet person, so wonderful to work with. I highly recommend her for alterations, she will make you feel like a queen in your dress!

I took my wedding dress to Sadie for alterations and am so happy I did! I bought my dress at Schaffers and Sadie was one of the seamstresses they recommended, and I can see why. Sadie is sweet and you can tell she is an absolute expert in her field. I felt so at ease leaving my dress in her care. My dress fit pretty well and only needed to be taken in a bit and hemmed, but she did a spectacular job. And she created a beautiful bustle as well. Sadie was able to create the dress of my DREAMS!!! Originally when my dress came in it was 10 sizes to big (I lost 30 pounds!) Luckily for me Sadie is a wizard!!! She literally made my dress fit like a glove! I cant even begin to describe how talented Sadie is, and her calming presence makes the experience that much more enjoyable :) I cannot say enough good things about Sadie and her craft, she helped create the dress of my dreams and I will forever be grateful!

I cant stop recommending Sadie to every bride I encounter--she worked an absolute miracle on my nightmare of a dress. I didnt think it would be possible to fix the laundry list of issues I had, especially not in the seemingly short timeline I had, but from the day I brought it in Sadie was calm and reassuring that everything would be fine. I bought my dress on sale... it was a size 12. I am maybe a size 0. The saleswoman had even said to me to let them know if it wasn’t possible to take it in. They recommended Sadie. She works MAGIC. While making me feel special, Sadie altered my dress into the wedding vision I had in my head. She was phenomenal!!! Go see Sadie if you want your dress to be done right.

Having Sadie as my seamstress to do the alterations on my wedding gown truly proved to be a blessing! My bridal gown had multiple layers of different fabrics and the top layer was made of tiered lace. It was quite challenging to work on, since it needed multiple alterations and the lace tiers would clearly show any inconsistency. However, Sadie did an outstanding job and I was truly impressed with her skills as a seamstress. On my wedding day the gown fit wonderfully, the bustle looked great, and nobody could tell that the belt Sadie had attached did not originally come with the dress. I will surely recommend her and would not hesitate to use her again in the future.

Sadie is absolutely AMAZING! I had a bad experience with my first alteration and was highly recommended to call Sadie. I couldnt believe the transformation. She was so kind and helpful. I went to many different alteration places to compare prices and make sure that they would do a good comprehensive job. I was recommended by Sadie from our wedding planner and she did a phenomenal job. She was quick to make changes and really listened to what I wanted and my dress fit like an absolute glove. She did so many extra things like fixing my veil and showing me how to do the bustle. I can’t begin to explain how amazing she was in the whole process and I couldn’t recommend her enough.

Sadie altered my wedding dress - she took it in, lowered the back, and added straps (the original gown was strapless). She did a fabulous job! Not only that, but she is the sweetest woman in the world, so she was wonderful to work with!! :)

Sadie was amazing to work with!! My dress has very many layers of delicate fabrice but Sadie altered it beautifully! I work weird hours and Sadie stayed late for every appointment I had but never made me feel like I was inconvinancing. She is truly talented, my dress looked like it had been made from scratch just for me! Every time I went in to see her I got more and more excited to see her finished product! She really cares about each detail in your dress and making it fit you perfectly! It has been weeks since my wedding but I am still receiving complements on my dress! My best friend will be getting married next year and I will be brining her to see Sadie! Thank you for making my dress gorgeous!

Sadie is a complete MIRACLE worker!! I had my dress altered and botched by another seamstress (Janet Kirkman - avoid at all costs!) and I had to find someone new STAT about a month before my wedding. I didn’t want a train and just wanted the hem to reach the ground, but Janet cut it at least 2 inches too short in the back and about 1” in the front. There were also uneven seams, a kick at the knee (that I did not ask for!), and a crooked zipper (I’d asked for a zipper instead of buttons in the back.) It was a terrible experience with Janet in so many ways. The store I bought my dress at (Schaffer’s - amazing) recommended Sadie Mardiha, and she fit me in right away. I put my dress on and Sadie started going all around for several minutes looking at the hem, ect. and asked me with concern, “Is this your dress??” I started to tear up thinking even more that it was ruined, but I said yes (I loved it so much!) She said ok, I’ll fix it...and her assistant told me not to worry, because Sadie does miracles. Well, she was right! After a few more fittings, Sadie did miracles on my dress and it was flawless...just how I had envisioned it, but even better! The hem swept the floor, the sides were smooth, the zipper was straight, and the bodice (which she didn’t even charge me for) was fitted perfectly! Honestly, she saved my dress and made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day!! I can’t thank her enough!! She was also less expensive than Janet, and was so sweet and pleasant to work with. She really listened and made sure we were on the same page and was so patient every step of the way. If you need alterations or a redesign, go to Sadie...you’ll be so happy with the results!!
