Most amazing service staff. I use The Water Club for Weekly Pool Cleaning and they do an amazing job.I just had The Water Club remodel my pool surface and OMG it sparkles like crazy! The surface is beautiful. I also got new variable speed pump which lowered my electric bill by $30/mo. They were professional, kind, understanding and worked with all my needs and wants.Just Amazing!

I discovered a leak in my pool at the back of the waterfall. The pipe connecting to the back of the waterfall had come apart, and hence the leak.I am pleased to say that Dante Garcia (technician) visited me and fixed the leak with reasonable cost. He was experienced, knowledgeable, caring and handled the job in an exemplary manner. It was truly a refreshing experience, and I will be happy to recommend Water Club Pools and Dante Garcia to anyone.

Edit, 5/7/2021:The morning, after I left the below review, I was contacted by the owner. He stated he saw my review and wanted to discuss it. He stated he was unaware of the complete circumstances surrounding my experience with his company and he listened as I expressed my grievance.After explaining everything, and expressing that, in my mind, I felt like I was being retaliated against for identifying a rather important training deficiency, he agreed and stated he would refund my $115.00. He stated the employee had been trained up on the issue and they did in fact make the elderly woman whole again.He was professional, respectful, and fair during our conversation, and Id actually like to commend him as a business owner. He obviously cares about his customers both past and present and could have just as easily ignored me.I changed my rating to 5 stars because I have used his company since 2016, and they were the first ones I called when I had a pool issue. Furthermore, when I had a grievance, he reached out directly and did what I felt was right. I did not mind paying for service, but not when it felt retaliatory. Id be just as happy if he gave my $115 to a valued employee who can really use it vs refund me, but I am very satisfied either way.Too long didnt read: They did a service call and disabled my pool pump. Said it was a manufactures defect and they same thing happened two days prior to an elderly woman. I fixed the issue after 10 minutes on Google and asked them to make it right. I was not charged initially but after pointing the issue out to the store, I was charged $115 for a diagnostic. That felt quite retaliatory for pointing out a training deficiency. Please do a bit of google research before you buy any parts from them. I thought long and hard prior to posting this review but the more I think about it, the more I think they wasted an opportunity to get ahead of some really good word of mouth.

Very professional and experienced. You came, you had the part for our pool heater in the truck and you fixed it in less than an hour. By the afternoon we were swimming in our pool again. I recently made a purchase at the 2864 Clark Rd Sarasota Store. I was very happy with the service. the manager is Eric. I didn’t expect a store manager to have the knowledge and expertise he did. It always amazes me that in retail more often than not, employees are not well versed on their product nowadays. this was not the case with this store. I thought he must be the owner .He helped me choose a pool and the chemicals I would need, as well as tips about keeping the water sparkly and clean. He is very genuinely helpful and I will continue to use that store as long as he is there.Eric also has a filled pool in the store to provide hands on demonstrations. I thought that was a great marketing tool.I’ve called a couple of times and he always has answer for me. I think they are competitive and well worth getting to know for the expertise. We had an issue with our pool water heater and with the holidays coming we made sure to make an appointment to get it fixed. We had a number of kids coming over to the house to swim so it was important that it worked for our get together. The technician came out and seemed to fix the issue. Not more than a week later we turned on the heater to get the pool warm for the following day and it wouldn’t work. We notified the company immediately and they essentially unapologetically said they couldn’t help us. They didn’t attempt to remedy the situation and told us the next appointment wouldn’t be until December 6th. They were supposed to fix this and once we paid for the service (which we did not really receive) they provided no further support after the fact. This is not the way to run a business.

I highly recommend the water club. I had a leak in my pool and I originally had hired a different company. They could not find the leak. They kept telling me it was evaporation (not 3 inches in 3 days) so I called the water club. Pete came out and foundmultiple leaks. He said he would come out the next day just to be sure it was holding water. When he came out the next day he said, you are still losing water too fast. I am going to dive your pool again to look for additional leaks. He found more leaks. When he was done he said he would be back tomorrow yet again to make sure he got it this time. He neednt have bothered it held water like a champ. What great customer service that he came out not once, but 3 times to make sure my pool wasnt leaking. And, they have great prices too. I highly recommend them and they are my go to company from now on!

Stain removal work. We had some issues with results and impaired water quality afterwards. However, my complaints were eventually addressed by the owner and he was extremely hands on to make things right. Very responsive and responsible with multiple follow-ups until things were back to normal with the pool. Im impressed given how some businesses respond to customers today. My only suggestion would be to clearly communicate with customers on stain removal process and what to expect, especially if they havent been through it before.

For more than a decade I have had good service from this company. When my pool pump motor breathed its last about 2 years ago (after a long life of 8 years), I had them replace it. From the start, we had problems with the motor. It made strange noises, was very loud (new motors typically are whisper quiet) and ran hot.Last week the motor bearings gave up the ghost, so I contacted Aaron, the tech who installed the motor.Given how much energy is used by single-speed pump motors, I wanted to investigate upgrading to a variable-speed pumpPete, the manager, offered to credit me for the amount I paid them two years ago for the defective motor against a new variable-speed pump. The variable-speed pumps arent cheap, so I was stoked that this would cut my installed price to only $1210. That is, until I received a quote for the identical unit from another pool service company for only $1115, WITHOUT the defective motor credit.Regardless, Ive done business with WCA for many years, and Aaron, who has worked on my equipment before, is a top-notch tech who really knows his stuff. So I went with WCA, despite the much higher price. However, when I informed them of the price difference, they checked and found they were being charged more by Jandy than other pool companies. They gave me a credit refund of the difference, to make the final price the same as the other company. When they say they are competitive, they are not kidding!The installation of my new Jandy VSFHP165JEP variable-speed pump took place yesterday. Aaron did a fantastic job getting everything installed, programmed and demonstrating the programming protocol to me. The pump is amazingly quiet ... you can barely hear it running. And you can vary the pump speed depending on what youre doing with the press of a button (e.g.-normal operation, overnight shock, vacuuming, etc.). I am very impressed with this pump, and look forward to not only saving around 50 bucks each month on my electric bill, but years of trouble-free operation.

My family has used the water club of america for years and I can safely say that they are a fantastic all purpose pool service company. Whats wonderful about this company is that they try to educate their clients on the inner and outer workings of pools (e.g., that pop ups are typically already installed in pools prior to resurfacing and if there are problems it is usually with the pop ups themselves). That, and other helpful information and insight, and their dedication to quality work, is why we keep using them for our pool service. Thank Pete and the rest of the team!

I have used the Water Club of America on Bee Ridge Road for years and was very happy with their service and knowledge. I moved to Downtown Sarasota and started using the 17th and Lockwood Ridge location. I have used them for less than a year. I was happy until recently. I brought a water sample in to the young man working there on Saturdays. My pool wasnt holding chlorine and had low alkalinity. I have a 6500 gallon pool, which I told him. He had me put 10 pounds of alkalinity plus, and a bag of stabilizer. I even questioned him about the 10 pounds of alkalinity plus given the size of the pool. Its been three weeks and the stabilizer and alkalinity are off the charts. I brought the water sample into him again last Saturday and he said not to do anything other than I shouldnt use the chlorine tablets because they boost the stabilizer. He didnt give me anything to bring the alkalinity back in line to a normal level. At this point, I dont care as much about how he over sold me what I needed. I just want the levels back where they should be. As a customer, I rely on the advice and recommendations that the staff at the Bee Ridge location gave me. I just cant trust that the people working at the Lockwood Ridge and 17th location know what they are doing. Its so disappointing. This is the closest location to me, but at this point, I would rather drive up to Pinch A Penny at University than go back and get bad advice at Water Club.

I had problems with this company initially but all is much better. Things did not go very well from the beginning. But, owning a business myself I know that sometimes things just dont go right. But, I spoke to the owner, Pete, who assured me that he would make things right by me. And he did. Pete is a man of his word. And finding a man of his word these days is worth a few extra stars all by itself.
