Paul Gendron is a compulsive liar and is not a licenced funeral director.Mr.Gendron had his license revoked up north and can not get a funeral directors license in Florida.He has the worst reputation in the funeral business and owes numerous individuals money which he makes no attempt to pay.Choise any funeral home but this one Their prices are very high.

Staff treated me and my family in a courteous and professional manner. They were sympathetic to our wishes and requests and did their best to accommodate each one. Thank you Gendron family and staff for assisting us in burying my dad with respect and honor!!!!

Michael took great care of me. Their boss Paul, a great guy easy to deal with. During these difficult times it’s nice coming to a funeral service that takes good care of you at great prices.

Gendron Funeral & Cremation provided excellent service during a difficult time. My father had prepaid his cremation and Gendron handled the details of a Veterans burial with ease and sensitivity. She answered my questions in an honest and straight forward manner that spoke of professionalism. Alzheimer’s left mom looking almost unrecognizable over time, but the Gendrons restored her appearance for the special family viewing. This was extremely comforting to us. Mike was very kind and respectful during the process of carrying out our moms final wishes. I know it cant be an easy job but he helped make it as painless as possible for my brother and me. They responded quickly, late at night when my mom passed. We lost our newborn daughter at Sarasota Memorial & one of the hardest things we ever had to do during this process of grieving was cremate her; However, thanks to Gendron Funeral Home we were able to make our decision with a clear conscious. We got her back as quickly as the legality of it all would allow. Paul, Mike & Amanda did a wonderful job taking care of our daughter. We bought a gorgeous Urn for her & when we picked her up her urn was placed in a velvet pouch that Mike handled ever so carefully. We cannot thank these people enough for what they did for us, our family and our daughter.

Gendron was there for me in a time of need. I recently lost my baby girl at 20 weeks. I contacted Gendron and they helped me right away. They were very professional and caring. Gendron does not charge a cremation fee for fetal demise which was so helpful with all of the other costs from medical. I truly appreciate that. These people really care about others and what they are going through. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to all in their times of need.

Phone calls were returned promptly.The pickup of my mom’s body at our home was respectful, & timely.At our initial meeting in discussing what Mom had wanted, Micheal Listened carefully, did not rush me, & honored my requests without pressure sales. Paul Gendron, owner, also was there to assist in any way he could. I contacted Gendron before my husbands passing to let them know I was choosing them to handle his final arrangements. I wasnt going to be able to get to meet with them before he passed at home, but they were there for the pick-up of the body in a short period of time. I met with them the next day, and it was like being taken care of by a loving family. Mike OBrien, Amanda and Paul were professional and made the process as easy as possible. Everything went very smoothly. I couldnt have asked for better service. And if you need a hug during these difficult times, they are very good at that too!!

We worked with Michael Obrien who did a great job guiding us through the process following the deaths of our parents, two weeks apart. It was a tough time, but Mike helped simplify the process. Thank you for helping us through this difficult time.

I would give minus stars if I could. I called and spoke to the owner of this place and after telling him how we lost our older sister to suicide weeks before my other sister had a heart attack, he said he would help us and treat us like family. We live out is state and he mailed my sisters ashes to us in a cardboard box! The place in Brevard county who did my first sister mailed her in a nice wooden box. Show respect for the passing and for their family. You broke my mothers heart all over again when she opened that! Pathetic place!!!

Gendron Funeral Home and the entire staff which is all family because it is a family owned funeral home are nothing but professional, caring and attentive to all needs.I am a funeral director of over 20 years in MA & RI. My father passed away in September of 2015 and I called Gendron Funeral Home. From the start, I was treated better then expected. Over the years, many funeral homes esp in FL have sold out to large corporations. You may think the funeral home is sill owned and operated by the family name, but trust me you are just a number.Again being a funeral director of over 20 years, when my dad passed, I knew what to look for in a funeral home and in the staff. Gendron FH was outstanding in every way.I have read some of the google reviews, so let me say that some things are out of the funeral directors control. In services requiring cremation, we as funeral directors must deal with many diffrent departments that require special permits and forms, and sometimes it can be a struggle to have things done by other people.Let me close with, if I ever move to FL, the first place I would go to look for employment is Gendron FH, because as a funeral director I believe in doing all I can for a family in need, and make it as easy as possible for them and meet all of their needs, AS GENDRON FUNERAL HOME DID FOR MY FAMILY., That should say it all.Lawrence J.
