I received back my dogs ashes today and a beautiful box. Included with some literature. I was very impressed with the quality and the professionalism of this company.
As a long time client who has had many animals done by them, they apparently dont care about the customer anymore. I had an emergency pet death over the weekend and decided to call the emergency number and leave a message around 4pm on Saturday to find out what I should do. Never heard back. Now comes Monday and I call first thing and no one picks up. I leave a message and tell them I need their help and when can i bring my pet in 4 hours later still nothing I called Sarasota pet crematory 3 minutes after they opened opened and they greeted me instantly with compassion, so I went there instead. A little more pricier but you will definitely see the difference in quality of both attitude and caring. If you expect grieving and a personal caring experience do not no expect it here cause it must just be just about when they feel like answering a phone when they need some cash.
This was the crematory my vet had on service. So, I did not pick it, but was so pleased with the products that I received back. I have had the use of these type of services before unfortunately, but Belspur was remarkable. They put attention to detail and it is that thought that comforts me thinking they took care of our beautiful friend this way. Thank you.
I had a wonderful experience with Belspur Oaks. Everything was done so beautifully. I loved the little carved box that my kitty came in and the paw print they made with his name on it made him seem even more special then he already was. Thank you for the professionalism that you showed me and my best friend Max. You are very much appreciated.
Since my pet was euthanized I have called and tried to contact them by email. I rarely get any type of response. I was told to tell them what urn was expected and what type of script to be engraved on the urn. My ashes have been returned to the vet where he was euthanized. Now I’m supposed to wait for a new urn but no one told me when or how long or how much. I was told to leave the ashes. (Vet said pick them up) Don’t pick them up he will fix it, however I’m concerned that with the way they have shown no initiative and the way they have proven to be unorganized that they will mix things up! As if they don’t know who I am or my order. Makes me feel like I probably won’t receive Tikis ashes but rather some other cremated pet. 😠Seems very unorganized and the customer service honestly since the beginning when I first called hasn’t been very great. Why have a phone and email if your not going to respond? I really hope to have this issue resolved because I am very unhappy!
The quality and obvious care and thought that Belspur Oaks Pet Crematory puts into its service was exceptional. Our Vet (Best Friends) gave them a top notch rating too, which is pretty remarkable. Beautiful wooden box, certificate of private cremation, and a thoughtful book on grieving the loss of a pet.
We just got back our beloved Chief. Words can’t express our gratitude. My husband picked him up from our vet and was given a beautiful bag. Our boy was in a beautiful carved wooden box, that was in a velvet bag a ceramic paw print and a certificate and booklet. You have no idea how much it means to us, that our baby boy was so well taken care of. It warms our hearts and gives us gentle closure. Thank you so much.
We had our cat put down due to health issues. Our veterinarian works with Belspur Oaks to cremate pets. And we were so pleasantly surprised when we received our pets cremains. They put him into a beautiful wooden box stored inside a velvet bag with Until we meet again at the rainbow bridge. With a booklet on grieving the loss of an animal and a certificate. We did not expect anything like this and couldnt be more impressed or grateful.
We were very happy with the care they put into the memorial for our beloved furbaby. We received not only the remains in a beautiful wooden box and velvet bag,but the paw print was also beautifully decorated with flowers and my pets name.
As a 50 year old tattooed Army vet, Im not the cuddliest guy in the world. However, I was devastated that my dog Drake needed to be put down last week and still havent fully recovered. That said, I picked up the cremains yesterday and would like to compliment Belspur on the superb care and presentation provided my favorite friend. My expectations were vastly exceeded and I cant say enough good things.Thank you.
FIRST CLASS SERVICE Losing a pet is already a devastating experience. Having a compassionate and caring service like Belspur Oaks makes it a little easier. We lost 2 older kitties on the same day, and my wonderful vet Dr. Huber uses Belspur Oaks. We were nothing short of amazed when we got the beautiful wooden carved urns, complete with cards, grief books, certificates of private cremation for each kitty, lovely velvet bags and very tasteful carrying bags when my husband picked them up. And they are very very reasonable too. I cant say enough about these people- they own and love animals, and I feel like they treated my kitties as their own.
Phenomenal service. I was brokenhearted from the death of my pet but this place did an incredible job with the entire process. Losing a pet can be so hard, but it was so comforting to me to know that I was going to get him back, rather than just burying him in the ground. Definitely would recommend to those who consider your pets to be a part of your family! Very thankful that I found this place.
I was overwhelmed & extremely pleased by the professional & kind service that I received at Belspur. My 13 year old Yorkie named Rosie passed away unexpectedly at work (she came to work with me everyday). I called Belspur & talked to the owner Ray who was kind and sympathetic as we discussed final arrangements for Rosie. That same day...I took Rosie to Belspur and was greeted by Ray the owner (who stayed after closing time to meet me!!!) The office is clean and professional...perfect! Rosies ashes were delivered back to me (by an employee of Belspur) who was SUPER kind and sympathetic...I was IMPRESSED!!! The presentation of Rosies ashes was OUTSTANDING!!!! A lovely velvet bag embroidered with Until We Meet Again At The Rainbow Bridge, a lovely craved wooded box, and lots of high quality colored printed material to read and ease my pain and sadness over Rosies passing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Belspur!!! Thank you : )
Had 2 pets taken care of here the most dignity your pet deserves done here
Very excellent service. I was treated with care & understanding . This is the second time Ive been there . I will recommend them to anyone who has a pet loss. Their standered urn is VERY beautiful, & the velvet like pouch is so heart warming . ❤🐾
Belspur has done all my pets but one. That one was not my choice and I was taken back when my cremains were returned and it had not been done by Belspur. I have just lost another pet and am personally handling his cremation with Belspur. Barbara has gone above and beyond to accommodate my needs and has been so compassionate. They love animals and understand the grief pet owners are dealing with. They also care for a colony of free roaming feral/semi feral cats in the industrial park they are located in. They also trap and foster underage kittens to socialize them so they can become adoptable pets. If you find yourself in need of this service, they have 30 years experience and take great pride in assisting pet owners thru the grief process. They are regulated as required by law, and this is a life time investment in equipment, compassion and support in our darkest hour. I dont know how anyone could write a negative review about Barbara and Ray, other than it was during their grief process that they lashed out. These people are awesome! I am sorry if you need their service, but if you do need it, they will handle your pet with love and dignity and offer you the support you need too.
My African Grey Congo Tango passed away recently. I went through Collingswood Animal Hospital in Port Charlotte and Belspur Oaks Pet Crematory took care of her Cremation. When I received her today in the nice wooden box, with her name plate it brought me comfort. They really provided a good service. Thank you so much for the care and kindness to all at Belspur Oaks PC.
I just spoke with the nicest man and he explained to me their procedure of picking up our precious babies. My Sophie went to heaven on Sunday and they picked her up that day and I have her ashes back already. I told him that at the emergency ER that they told me about a week. This nice man told me that they tell you that just in case, but they pick up there everyday. He assured me that it is my baby I got back. Thank you for answering all my questions. It meant a lot to me. I am so heart sick over losing her. Sincerely, Alyce Cronin
My cat was diagnosed with congestive heart failure at the young age of 7. It was devastating - when the time came, I had a veterinarian come to my home to put him to sleep. This was supposed to be as comforting and painless as possible both for my kitty and me. The vet recommended sending my cat to Belspur for cremation, and asked for my cell phone number twice to make sure they could contact me about delivery of the ashes. A few days later, I opened my front door to a bag just sitting on the porch. I cant tell you how upsetting it was to find my beloved animal like that. I had been home all morning, no phone call, no knock on the door, no time to prepare emotionally. The owner only made the process worse, questioning my account, saying that is not how we do business. We only leave ashes if the owner specifically requests that we do so. I would recommend that anyone grieving an animal, and expecting comfort, stay far away from this owner and business.
Very pleased with my baby boys remains they did an excellent job..of course I cried..when I saw the beautiful box and his little paw print..I have set up a memorial for my beloved Cupid of 18 years in my living room..I would recommend them highly..!!
I was very pleased with this experience, and the professionalism and compassion that this organization showed during this very sad time in our life.
Multiple documented phone calls were unreturned until the vet called. The owner claimed he had returned my call, which was a lie. He didnt return my call until I left a fourth message over a period of 3 weeks. My beloved dogs remains were returned to me sealed, which I never requested, as I already had plans. An additional trip had to be made to have the problem corrected. While he offered to pick up her remains, there was no way I could trust him. This is not an appropriate way to treat someone who is suffering from a devastating loss.
Ive dealt with them for years totally recommend for a loved one.
Very caring, individual cremation. This is my 3rd fur baby that I have entrusted Belspur Oaks Pet Cremation to return back to me. I wouldnt go anywhere else.
They did not send the paw print of my dog with the ashes. They never answered our calls and two weeks later they sent to the veterinary a paw print saying the found it after a mixup. Never they just sent a print from another dog. This caused tremendous grieve to my wife. Our dog was her 24 hour companion for 13 years. I would never recommend them.
Terrible service. My pets name was misspelled on all paperwork. I called 3/15 and man said to email them. I emailed same day. No reply back from them. I called again on Friday 3/17 and man said corrected paperwork was mailed. On 3/23 my vets office also called and was told paperwork had been mailed on Monday. I have yet to receive any corrected papers or a reply back to my email or a phone call followup..nothing....Terrible service.
I thought everything was handled very nicely and thoughtfully.
